Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's response to offline and online learning, especially in the long term as we are currently facing with the Corona Virus (COVID-19) which has not stopped. Through questionnaire response analysis using offline and online learning models, the research sample is teachers who teach at the Vocational High School level, both from public and private schools in the Padang city area. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online using the ms.form link. Based on the data obtained that the implementation of offline and online learning has been carried out effectively, it can be seen from the teacher's response to offline and online learning using a learning model, namely 40% of teachers said it was very good, 30% said it was good, 20% said it was not good, and 10% said very not good at processing offline and online learning models. With the results found from the management of educator readiness in offline and online learning in the future, it can be anticipated to be more effective by looking at the shortcomings and obstacles found in the field through this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and explore the principal's management State Vocational High School 6 Padang on learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods, with the determination of selected participants (purposive sampling). Data collection is done through interviews, and field observation. We conducted data analysis using qualitative analysis methods. Results research shows that the leadership role of SMK Negeri 6 Padang in ensuring education is carried out through 3 main things, namely LMS development, LMS use training, and online teacher performance assessment. All of these leadership practices are forms of adaptive leadership that adapts to the conditions of the distance learning process that must be carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the following. First, how much is the contribution of reading interest to the reading ability of Semester I students of STIFARM Padang. Second, how much is the contribution of vocabulary mastery to the reading comprehension ability of Semester I Students of STIFARM Padang. Third, how much is the contribution of reading interest and vocabulary mastery together to the reading comprehension ability of Semester I students of STIFARM Padang. This correlational study took the population of Semester I STIFARM Padang students. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling technique so that 53 students were obtained as samples. The research instrument is in the form of questionnaires and tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study are three, (1) Reading interest gives a significant contribution of 33.9% to the ability to read comprehension because tcount > ttable or 5,110 > 1,684. (2) Vocabulary mastery gave a significant contribution of 35.3% to reading comprehension ability because tcount > ttable or 5.27 > 1,684. (3) Reading interest and vocabulary mastery together gave a significant contribution of 51.8% to reading comprehension ability because tcount > ttable or 26.87 > 3.18.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of two independent variables, namely the supervision of the principal and organizational culture, and the dependent variable is the pedagogic competence of teachers at SMPN Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. To obtain the data needed, the writer uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential analysis. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that 1) There is an effect of principal supervision on pedagogic competence in SMPN Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This is evidenced from the results of the t-test that is 3.351 while the t-table is 2.000, thus t-count > ttable (3,351>2,000). 2) There is an influence of organizational culture on the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMPN Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The results of the calculation of the t test on organizational culture are 3,432 while the t table is 2,000. t count > t table (3,432>2,000). 3) There is a joint influence of principal supervision and organizational culture on the pedagogic competence of teachers at SMPN Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This is evidenced by Fcount > Ftable or 27.775 > 2.76. The influence of the two variables of supervision and organizational culture on pedagogoic competence is 50.2% while the remaining 49.8% is not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This research is motivated by phenomena such as some teachers who enter class not on time, some teachers do not fulfill teaching hours, some teachers leave their assignments during working hours, some teachers are late in making the realization of the work program that has been implemented. set. This study aims to analyze the contribution of two independent variables, namely the principal's leadership and organizational culture, and the dependent variable is teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. To obtain the data needed, the writer uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential analysis. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that 1) There is a significant and positive influence between the principal's leadership on teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This means that the better the principal's leadership, the better the teacher's discipline in carrying out their duties. 2) There is a significant and positive influence between organizational culture on teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This means that teacher discipline can be improved through a conducive organizational culture. 3) There is a joint influence of the principal's leadership and organizational culture on teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Principal leadership and organizational culture significantly determine and contribute to teacher discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze 1) the contribution of academic supervision to the work ethic of junior high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir; 2) the contribution of self-efficacy to the work ethic of junior high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir; 3) the contribution of academic supervision and self-efficacy to the work ethic of middle school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir. This research is quantitative with the type of explanatory research. The population is 105 people with the sample in this study being 116 junior high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir. Data collection in this research is by using a questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 23 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a significant and positive contribution between the variables of academic supervision on the work ethic of junior high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir, with a low interpretation. (2) A significant and positive contribution was found between self-efficacy on the work ethic of SMP teachers in Bagan Sinembah Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir, with a low interpretation. Abstract

This study aims to (1) find and analyze how big the contribution of the homeroom leadership style, organizational culture and homeroom leadership style to the effectiveness of classroom management at SMP Negeri Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis.The population in this study amounted to 110 people at 9 State Junior High Schools, the sample/respondent of the study was 87 homeroom teachers in State Junior High Schools in Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and describing the participation of community leaders in the management of village libraries in Desa Segati Kecamatan Langgam Kabupaten Pelalawan. The method in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The object of the research is participation, community leaders, and village libraries and the research subjects are community leaders, totaling 4 (four) people. Participation in ideas and social participation which is given as a closeness of heart is the participation that is most often carried out by community leaders. This is because participation is a very easy, flexible and timeless form of participation. In addition, labor participation, skill participation is participation carried out by community leaders but still has limited time and opportunities due to differences in work and opportunities from each community leader in Desa Segati Kecamatan Langgam Kabupaten Pelalawan. Meanwhile, property participation has been carried out by several community leaders indirectly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of variables (1) teacher work discipline on teacher commitment, (2) teacher loyalty to teacher commitment, (3) teacher work discipline and teacher work discipline and teacher loyalty together with teacher commitment. The research respondents were State Elementary School teachers in Tanjung Medan District, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 118 people with a sample of 91. The data was collected through questionnaires as a research instrument. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of teacher work discipline on teacher commitment of 0.470, and there was a positive and significant effect of teacher loyalty on teacher commitment of 0.555. Meanwhile, together there is an effect of teacher discipline and teacher loyalty on teacher commitment of 0.477

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of variables (1) workload on teacher work stress levels, (2) dual role conflict on teacher work stress levels, (3) workload and dual role conflict together on teacher work stress levels. The research respondents were principals of public elementary schools in Tanjung Medan District, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 148 people with a sample of 108. The data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires as research instruments. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of workload on the teacher's work stress level of 0.517, there was a positive and significant influence of dual role conflict on the teacher's work stress level of 0.458. Meanwhile, together there is an effect of workload and dual role conflict on the teacher's work stress level of 0.543
