Abstract

This method to find out the results of the study shows that the purpose of this study is to see how the management of the Islamic boarding school education curriculum is carried out at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Aziziyyah Islamic Boarding School in Tangerang. To produce students who excel spiritually, intellectually, and in character. The Islamic boarding school curriculum not only functions as an academic standard but also helps students grow in morals, discipline, and social responsibility. This study was conducted with a qualitative approach and case studies. Islamic boarding school leaders, curriculum managers, ustadz, and students were involved in data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The Miles and Huberman model method was used to conduct data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the Tahfidzul Qur'an Aziziyyah Islamic Boarding School in Tangerang combines the Islamic boarding school curriculum, the Ministry of Religion curriculum, and contemporary education models in a planned and integrated manner. The curriculum is adapted to changing times while maintaining the traditional values ​​of the Islamic boarding school, emphasizing the balance between mastery of religious knowledge, language skills, and the use of technology as well as the formation of the character of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of archives management at ABAIS Islamic Elementary School by highlighting the planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring functions to identify operational constraints and formulate technology-based solutions. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with archivists, participant observation, and documentation analysis. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested through triangulation of sources and methods. The findings indicate that the archive creation process is carried out in a hybrid manner, combining manual and digital procedures for archives of letters, student data, and financial documents. However, archive storage is still mixed between active and inactive archives, lacks an indexing system, and is only organized chronologically, thus slowing retrieval. An archive reduction mechanism has not been implemented due to limited human resources and the age of the institution. Supporting factors include leadership commitment, while inhibiting factors include minimal infrastructure and staff discipline in data input. This study offers an archiving improvement model that combines archiving SOPs, a hybrid physical-digital system, SIKD-based digitization, and the preparation of a structured retention schedule a combination rarely discussed in archiving studies at the Islamic elementary school level.

Abstract

The availability of school facilities and infrastructure is a key factor in supporting the effectiveness of educational activities. This study aims to analyze the level of readiness of school facilities, particularly related to classrooms and learning technology devices such as anyboards, in supporting the teaching and learning process. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive approach through direct observation, interviews with educators, and document studies related to mapping educational facility needs. The results show that most schools still face significant obstacles in the form of limited adequate classroom space. This condition results in alternating classroom use and impacts the effectiveness of learning time. Furthermore, the lack of modern learning technology devices, including anyboards, hinders the implementation of interactive and digital learning strategies that should increase student participation and understanding. These findings emphasize the need for more optimal planning for the procurement of facilities and infrastructure, including the construction of additional classrooms and the provision of technology devices relevant to current learning needs. This research is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in developing programs to continuously improve the quality of educational facilities.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the gross motor skills of a third-grade student with Down syndrome at a special primary school through the use of ecoprint media employing the pounding technique. The research applied a Single Subject Research (SSR) method with an A1–B–A2 design and was conducted at SLB YPPLB Padang. The research subject was one student with Down syndrome. The initial baseline phase (A1) was carried out over five sessions, showing gross motor skill achievement in the range of 15%–20%. The intervention phase (B), implemented for seven sessions using ecoprint media with the pounding technique, demonstrated a gradual improvement in gross motor skills, reaching 40%–100%. In the final baseline phase (A2), conducted over three sessions, the student’s gross motor skills stabilized at 100%. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using visual graph analysis. The findings indicate that ecoprint media with the pounding technique is effective in enhancing the gross motor skills of students with Down syndrome. The novelty of this study lies in the use of ecoprint as a creative and contextual sensorimotor learning medium that aligns with the learning characteristics of students with Down syndrome.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve wedding gift decoration skills through the use of video tutorial media in vocational souvenir learning for a student with mild intellectual disability in Grade XI at SLB Mutiara Qalbu Sungai Limau. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), which focuses on the systematic and reflective improvement of instructional practices through two action cycles. Each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection, with video tutorials utilized as visual support in vocational skills instruction. The research subject was a student with mild intellectual disability, identified by the initials RS, who experienced difficulties in practice-based vocational skills. Data were collected through performance observation and practical tests of wedding gift decoration and analyzed descriptively to describe changes in the learning process and outcomes. The findings indicate that the use of video tutorial media contributed to improvements in the learning process, increased student engagement and focus, and supported greater independence in completing the sequential steps of wedding gift decoration tasks. Through a systematic, gradual, and continuous action process, the student’s vocational skills developed and reached the expected learning mastery criteria.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of learning administration as an effort to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process at SMP Al-Amanah Setu. Learning administration includes key instructional documents such as lesson plans (RPP), annual programs (Prota), semester programs (Promes), and daily teaching journals, which serve as guidelines for teachers in organizing, delivering, and evaluating learning activities. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, non-participant classroom observations, and document analysis involving the school principal, vice principal for curriculum, subject teachers, and administrative staff. Data analysis followed the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that learning administration at SMP Al-Amanah Setu has been implemented in an organized manner and has positively influenced the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, as reflected in increased student engagement, improved attainment of learning objectives, and more efficient management of time and resources. Nevertheless, challenges such as teachers’ heavy administrative workload and limited periodic supervision were identified.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the planning of library facility and infrastructure management in increasing student reading interest at Serua 03 Public Elementary School. Reading interest is a crucial aspect in developing elementary school student literacy, but it still faces various obstacles, one of which is the suboptimal management of school literacy facilities. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects included the principal and students, and data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to describe the actual condition of library facility and infrastructure management. The results indicate that the planning of library facility and infrastructure management at Serua 03 Public Elementary School is not yet fully optimal, as evidenced by low library utilization by students, limited spatial planning, and a lack of innovation in literacy facility management. However, gradual planning efforts, including needs analysis, library reorganization, and facility maintenance, have shown a positive impact on increasing student interest in reading. The novelty of this study lies in strengthening the role of facility and infrastructure management planning as a school managerial strategy in fostering elementary school students' reading interest. This research is expected to serve as a reference for schools in developing effective and sustainable literacy facility management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management methods applied in combining the general and religious curricula at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al Hikam with the hope of achieving the vision of developing a Qur'anic Generation. The Qur'anic Generation is defined as students who not only excel in modern science and technology, but also have spiritual depth, good morals, and are able to apply the values of the Qur'an and Hadith in their daily lives. This study used a qualitative method with a case study at MTs Al Hikam, involving in-depth interviews with the head of the madrasah, teachers, and direct observation of the teaching and learning process. The findings of this study reveal that integration is carried out through three main aspects: (1) Curriculum Integration (thematic syllabus that links general material with religion), (2) Learning Integration (integrated tahfiz method and contextual teaching), and (3) Cultural Integration (daily worship habits and role models from teachers). The role of the madrasah principal as a transformational leader is crucial to maintaining the continuity and consistency of this integration program. Effective implementation of this integration management has been proven to have a positive impact on students' academic and spiritual competency achievements.

Abstract

The success of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning depends not only on the creativity of teachers in the classroom, but also on the extent to which the principal's management is able to organize resources, provide infrastructure that supports a religious atmosphere, and conduct ongoing supervision. Without effective management implementation from the principal—whether as a manager, supervisor, or motivator—Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in vocational schools risks becoming trapped in mere administrative fulfillment without addressing the substantive aspects of character building. This qualitative research, using a case study at SMK PGRI 15 Jakarta, aims to analyze the principal's strategies for improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning within the vocational school. The results indicate that improving the quality of PAI is achieved through four key management functions: planning integrated into the School Operational Curriculum (KOS), organization through the formation of a religious development team, and implementation, which includes academic supervision, the use of digital technology, and the implementation of a hidden curriculum through the promotion of religious practices. Furthermore, monitoring and evaluation are conducted periodically to maintain the relevance of learning methods. This study concludes that the principal's multifunctional role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, and motivator (EMAS-M) is key to creating an adaptive PAI learning ecosystem capable of shaping students' religious character amidst the demands of vocational competencies.
