Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, effectiveness and practicality of the product development of picture book media based on local wisdom. The type of research is development research (R&D) with the type of ADDIE research model. Product trials were conducted using limited and extended trials. The research subjects were on a small scale in the fourth grade of SDN Mrican 1, which amounted to 10 students, while the subjects of the large-scale trial were conducted on the fourth grade students of SDN Mrican 2, which amounted to 43 students. The feasibility analysis test of the product developed was determined through the results of material validation, media validation, and the practice of trial use by students and teachers using descriptive analysis. Test the effectiveness and practicality using a t-test using a questionnaire. The results of the study show (1) product validity scores 92 very valid categories, while material validation scores 89 very valid categories. (2) Product effectiveness gets an average score of 88 in the effective category. (3) The practicality of the product received a score of 92 very practical categories. It can be concluded that the development of picture book media based on local wisdom is very feasible to use in the learning process and can improve learning outcomes for students in learning material

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of SMKN 1 Pancung Soal in dealing with learning in the new normal era, the obstacles faced by SMKN 1 Pancung Soal in dealing with learning in the new normal era and the solutions of SMKN 1 Pancung Soal in dealing with learning in the new normal era. This type of research by its nature is a qualitative research. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this qualitative research were teachers and principals at SMKN 1 Pancung Soal. The results showed that elementary school readiness in facing learning in the new normal era with school readiness as learning readiness which includes health screening protocols, application of health protocols, applying several learning methods, communication and collaboration in the use of technology. The obstacles faced by schools in dealing with learning in the new normal era are changes in curriculum, students, teachers, parents, and completeness of facilities and infrastructure, innovation and implementation. The solution that can be done by schools in facing the constraints of school readiness in learning in the new normal era is to recognize the conditions that occur, focus on the condition of students and parents

Abstract

The study reviews it-based learning management in SMK Profesional Padang. The purpose of this study is to find out how the image of it based learning management in SMK Profesional Padang. This research approach is qualitative. The source of data on this study is the principal for students, and the teacher. The data gathering technique used in this studyis observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Mileas and Huberman models, that is, data collection, data condensing, data presentation and deduction drawing. Verification of data using triangulation technique. Research shows that the image of eit-based learning management in SMK Profesional Padang, comptrolling the 3 types of learning management are online, blended learning, and offline. Blended learning is prepared a long time ago before the completion and has taken place in several classes but is not optimal because only half of the teachers who have been performing their classes and live streaming, some of them listening in rooms and at home and blended with an lms or zoom and could be in the teacher’s class instructing students to open their smartphone. While offline learning is based on the learning technology that is supported by the existence of the tech tools used in offline learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of perceptions about the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher in the students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan students. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was 31 students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan who had implemented PLK. Data were collected through a questionnaire/questionnaire and analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (IBM SPSS Statistic 22) program. The results showed that there was an influence of perceptions about the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher by students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan by 23.3% and 76.7% influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

Numerical literacy is an ability that needs and is very important to improve. So it is necessary to do research to improve students' numeracy literacy skills with the PBL model. This research is a quantitative research. The research method is pretest-posttest design with purposive sampling technique. Samples were selected randomly from the population. The population of this study were high school students in the South coast district. The sample was selected from schools that have A accreditation because seen from the data obtained, there are more schools that are accredited B and others. The conclusion is obtained by looking at the results of the given numeracy literacy skills which have previously been validated by experts in their fields. The conclusion obtained is that the achievement of the control class using PBL can effectively improve students' numeracy literacy skills, while the control class has not provided an effective increase in students' numeracy literacy abilities.

Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenal factors of the low motivation to study economics students. This study aims to determine whether leadership has an effect on student motivation at Singaperbangsa Karawang University. The data taken in this study are the results of a survey conducted on students of the economics faculty of Singaperbangsa Karawang University. The method used in this research is quantitative with 2 independent variables and 1 dependent variable. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: 1) the influence of the distributive leadership style on the work ethic of teachers and education personnel at SMAN 10 Pangkep, (2) the influence of the consultative leadership style on the work ethic of teachers and education personnel at SMAN 10 Pangkep, (3) the influence of leadership styles distributive and consultative leadership on the work ethic of teachers and education personnel at SMAN 10 Pangkep. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted at SMAN 10 Pangkep. The population in this study were teachers and education personnel with a total of 55 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression test. The results showed (1) distributive leadership style had a significant effect on the work ethic of teachers and education personnel at SMAN 10 Pangkep, (2) consultative leadership style had a significant effect on the work ethic of teachers and education personnel at SMAN 10 Pangkep, (3) distributive leadership and leadership. simultaneously have a significant effect on the work ethic of teachers and education personnel in SMA 10 Pangkep. The contribution of the influence of the distributive leadership and consultative leadership variables was 20.3% and the remaining 79.7% showed the influence of other variables that were not evaluated in this study.

Abstract

Developing a quality culture in educational institutions can be achieved by developing educational innovation, extracurricular, cultural innovations, student personality traits, as well as academic and non-academic achievement development programs (School Engagement). The implementation of school quality development culture program encountered several obstacles including the lack of understanding of how to implement the 2013 curriculum. The application of the principles of transformational leadership and continuous mentoring to teachers in class assignments and responsibilities is a possible solution. The approach taken by the principal through the management approach is as follows: First, the planning phase which sets quality goals and communicates these goals to the school community. Second, the organizational stage by establishing an organizational structure, determining the main tasks and assigning or delegating tasks of authority. Third, the leadership phase consists of teacher training, assisting teachers and staff, observing teachers during learning, motivating, discussing results, focusing on quality goals, and following up. Fourth, the stage of monitoring and evaluating ongoing school programs. In addition, the results of this paper will describe the impact of transformational leadership on the development of innovation and work culture in leadership education. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to write procedure texts and Lack of student interest in writing procedure text. The purpose of this study is first, to describe the use of image media in the ability to write procedural texts for class XI students of SMA Ekasakti. Second, to describe the use of audiovisual media in writing procedural texts for class XI students of SMA Ekasakti. Third, describe the differences in the use of image media and audiovisual media in the ability to write procedural texts for class XI students of SMA Ekasakti Padang. This type of research is quantitative with a comparative method. The research data are in the form of test results for writing procedural texts. The population in the study were all students of class XI totaling 38 students. Sampling was carried out with a total sampling of 38 students consisting of two class XI IPA 20 students and class XI IPS 18 students. The research instrument was in the form of a procedural text writing ability test. The results showed that first, the use of image media in writing procedure text in class XI IPS SMA Ekasakti was in the medium category (40.7%) with an average value of 66.00. Second, the use of audiovisual media in class XI IPA SMA Ekasakti is in the high category (54.4%) with an average score of 79.00. Third, there is a difference between students writing procedure texts for class XI SMA Ekasakti students using audio-visual media (79.00) and picture media (66.00).

Abstract

This study aims to manage online learning in increasing activities student learning during the covid-19 pandemic for the future, especially in the long term like what we are facing right now with Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) which doesn't exist yet stop. Through analyzing online learning activity questionnaires through the opinion of an educator or the teacher's point of view with the research sample being 45 teachers who teach at the State Vocational High School in the city of Padang. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online using the ms.form link. Based on the data obtained,shows that the implementation of online learning has been carried out effectively seen from the teacher learning model readiness activity. From the results obtained, the teacher's readiness in addressing online learning using a learning model, namely 50% of teachers stated very ready, 20% said they agreed, 10% said they were not ready, 15% said they were not ready and 5% stated when they were not ready to process online learning models, with good results found from the management of educator readiness in online learning in the future can anticipated to be more effective by looking at the deficiencies and obstacles found in the field through this research.
