Abstract

Teacher has an important role in learning process. The teacher is good teacher if he/her has ability or competence such as a set of capabilities can realize their professional performance. In addition, the school environment also plays an important role for the development of students' learning. The students 11 IPS Grade SMA Negeri 2 Malang learning result are included into low learning result because they lack of motivation to study. The lack of enthusiasm for learning is due to the teachers who are constantly using less varied learning model that makes students become bored and less concentrating while studying. The other thing is the fatigue caused by the long duration of the school which is not matched by adequate rest hours. This causes students to become lazy to learn and give the impact on learning result become low. This research used quantitative approach with explanation type. Data analysis that used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis. Based on data analysis result, it could be concluded: (1) there was positive and significant effect students perception about competence of economics teacher to the learning result on economy subject, (2) there was positive and significant effect students perception about school environment to the learning result on economy subject, and (3) there was positive and significant effect students perception about competence of economics teacher and school environment to the learning result on economy subject.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Economics instructional media in form of Economics Quiz educational game for the tenth grade students of Social Studies at SMA Laboratorium UM. The study also aimed to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Economics Quiz educational game based on assessment of material experts, media experts and students. This study is a research & development (R & D) that are adapted and modified from the development model Borg and Gall). Based on data analysis that has been done, the percentage of the results of trials by media experts is 96%, material experts of 70.625%, small group of test results of 84.39% and the results of field trials of 86.62%. According to the guidelines for eligibility criteria for levels of media, then, this instructional media of educational game is already valid. Test media effectiveness reached 86.67% of students using instructional media reach a value above the standard passing grade (KKM). From these results, it can be concluded that the development of educational game based learning media is feasible and effective for use as a medium of learning.

Abstract

To create a good learning outcomes and in accordance with the objectives then require the efforts of a teacher by looking at the pattern of student learning, mastering the lesson, choosing an appropriate learning model and not boring or monotonous and doing an effective learning process. The teacher must be careful when implementing the learning process in the classroom. Learning activity at SMA Al-Rifa'ie Gondanglegi especially in the tenth grade shows that learning is still conventional and lacking effective, then inflicting less conducive conditions and make the students become lacking enthusiastic when studying and also difficult to understand the lessons. The objectives of this research is to know that the implementation learning model of Mind Mapping can increase the creativity and learning outcomes at the tenth grade SMA Modern Al-Rifa'ie Gondanglegi. This research uses the approaching of the qualitative research, by using the Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data of the research is collected by using the observation sheets of creativity of students, documentation, note, pre-test and post-test questions and answers. The suggestion which can be given by the writer of this research are: (1) For the teachers, they should be able to apply model of mind mapping need to consider the right subject so the learning can be done. (2) For the school, they should recall to every teachers to apply the model of learning and it is innovative and interesting. (3) For the next research, it can be given advise to apply the learning model of Mind Mapping to the other subject by replacing or adding the other variable of research.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior is activites that are not based on need but on desire and stasfaction itself. Consumptive behavior comes not from self, but from process certain someone but in private hearts, between lay namely about financial knowledge and self-control in consume. The phenomenon at the State University of Malang showed their consumptive behavior is hapen in student, it can be seen from the student appearance follow the trend of use of mobile phones well as higt price. Behavior such as research feared would disrupt student life hearts because later consumptive behavior of students will continue to take root and can be life & style consumptive. This study uses a population study with proportional random sampling technique with 192 respondent. The collection of data by using questionnaires and test. The method is descriptive quantitative. Analysis of the data used is multiple linier regression analysis. The results of this research showed three results. First, economy literacy negatively affected on consumptive behavior with effective contribution by 19,2%. Second, self-control negatively affected consumer behavior with effective contribution by 4,6%. Third, economy literacy and self-control negatively affected on consumptive behavior with effective contribution by 23,8%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick on the subjects of Economics students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang, (2) to determine whether the application of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang.This research is a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. research subjects are students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang academic year 2015/2016 totaling 35 students. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, test questions, interviews, field notes, and documentation.The results of this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects. To increase students' cognitive aspects, can be seen from the pre-test and post-test cycle I and cycle II. At the time of the pre-test the first cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 2 (5.71%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 28 people (80%). At the time of the pre-test cycle II, the number of students who completed as many as five people (14.2%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 32 (91.4%). Overall, the average results of post-test cycle I and II increased by 6.5%. Besides being able to improve student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects.

Abstract

This research is done with the objective to develop Audio Visual Comics instructional media which can be used in Economics learning in senior high school with foreign currency exchage rate subject. Research and development model used in this reaearch is Borg & Gall model with 3 kinds of validity tests. Those tests are subject test, media test, and product trial test. Product trial test consist of small group test and field test. The collecting of the validity data is using questionnaire and written test instrument. Based on the result of the research can be concluded that Audio Visual Comics has judged very appropriate to be used in economics learning either in subject aspect, media aspect and its effectivity in classroom.

Abstract

Consumption behavior, also known as consumption patterns, is a way for someone to fulfill all her needs by buying and using goods and services required to meet the rational needs.thus, in order to fullfill the need, someone should choose what will be consumed so as not to buy anything that is not in use and buy something excessive or often called consumptive behavioral. Consumption behavior of students is influenced by several factors such as the parents 'attention, the response to the advertisement, the intensity of the peers, and students' understanding on economic subjects. Accordingly, it is necessary discussion about the influence of parental attention, the response to the advertisement, the intensity of peers, and students' understanding on economic subject on consumption behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between socio-economic variables of parents and the motivation of students to study in college. Number of dependents and family support stand as intermediate variable, which connects to theanother one, namely student motivation. The subject of this research was the high school students of class 11, and 12 including their parents in three regencies: Belu, TTU, and TTS. Using path analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between education, employment, income, and savings and the motivation of students. Variable of number of dependents have negative relationship but are significant with motivation of students. It also happened when the testing was done through the intermediate variable (indirect relation), that only a dependent and the family support variables have negative relationship with the motivation of students.

Abstract

The more rapidly technological development enables to develop an attracted learning media. SMA Negeri 1 Talun has possesed a facility supports electronic based learning media usage. But during this time, the usage of electronic media has not been implemented maximally because teacher often used media, such as module or packet book and less attracted power-point more. International trading is one of subject matters must be studied by XI IIS grade students. International trading is one of subject matters presents text more, so if it is tought by using packet book or module will make students feel bored exactly. Because of that, a media was developed to share attractive visualization in wish to be able to increase motivation for students and to make students easy in comprehending international trading subject matter.This developmental research used ADDIE model adjusted to the kind of developed product. The validation was carried out through some steps, included of media expert and subject matter expert validation, and trial step. The results of validation and trial step of experiment showed a positive response and learning media had fulfilled very valid criteria to be used in learning.
