Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce an Economic Module Based on Edutainment on Taxation Material. In addition, to test the feasibility and attractiveness of the developed economic modules. This research is a development study using ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The feasibility of the product in the form of Edutainment-Based Economic Modules according to experts obtained a percentage of 90.45% with the equivalent of "Very Eligible or Valid" for use in learning.

Abstract

Teacher has an important role in learning process. The teacher is good teacher if he/her has ability or competence such as a set of capabilities can realize their professional performance. In addition, the school environment also plays an important role for the development of students' learning. The students 11 IPS Grade SMA Negeri 2 Malang learning result are included into low learning result because they lack of motivation to study. The lack of enthusiasm for learning is due to the teachers who are constantly using less varied learning model that makes students become bored and less concentrating while studying. The other thing is the fatigue caused by the long duration of the school which is not matched by adequate rest hours. This causes students to become lazy to learn and give the impact on learning result become low. This research used quantitative approach with explanation type. Data analysis that used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis. Based on data analysis result, it could be concluded: (1) there was positive and significant effect students perception about competence of economics teacher to the learning result on economy subject, (2) there was positive and significant effect students perception about school environment to the learning result on economy subject, and (3) there was positive and significant effect students perception about competence of economics teacher and school environment to the learning result on economy subject.

Abstract

In the daily life, humans cannot be separated with economics activity to fulfil varying of their needs which are not balanced with the available resources, so they have to behave rationally in economic activity, especially consumption. This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of allowance management, modernity, emotional quotient, and economic literacy against rationality of consumption behaviour’s students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang.This research used quantitative approach with explanation research. The population are students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang with a sample of 54 students is calculated using Slovin Formula and sampling technique is proportional random sampling. The data were obtained through questionnaires and written test. To analyze the data, this research used multiple linear regression analyze technique. The result in this research showed: (1) allowance management affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (2) modernity affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (3) emotional quotient affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (4) economic literacy affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (5) allowance management, modernity, emotional quotient, and economic literacy affect simultaneously to the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to describe some of the things that include student difficulties in understanding the Economics subject and efforts to overcome the problems for the tenth grade students of Social Studies 1 at SMA Islam Kepanjen. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Checking the validity of data use a tringulation. Based on the analysis of data obtained in the study area, it obtained 4 following conclusions: (1) students’ difficulty in understanding the Economics material is only on the material of SHU (Business Profits) calculation. (2) the cause of the students’ difficulties in understanding the economy material is influenced by several reasons such as: first, the lack of interest of students to study Economics. Second, students do not have books or text books to support economic study, which owned only the record books. Third, students are burdened with too much school work, so that students find it hard to learn and eventually lazy to learn Economic. Fourth, students are less able to understand the material surrounding Economic existing calculation formula, such as the material count of Business (SHU). Fifth, the potential intelligence of students who have difficulty in understanding the material is included in the category Economy average down. Students who are potential intelligence belonging to the low could be difficulty in learning the material calculating, especially if the count was a lot.; (3) the efforts of students in overcoming the difficulty in understanding the Economic subject to study in groups with class mates who are more familiar and ask for help or ask the teacher a field of study that described the material back and taught the ways of solving problems calculating the SHU; (4) the efforts of teachers in overcoming the students’ difficulties in understanding the Economics subject is first, by giving assistance during the process of learning in the classroom is the teacher explains the return of material that has not been understood by the students because it can help students to learn the material, and so students can finish practice questions that had been given. Second, teachers also provide motivation during the learning process in the classroom by way of gift giving. Giving gifts is done so that students are more eager to learn Economics, so that students can take pleasure in learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Masalah kualitas pembelajaran ekonomi menjadi perhatian utama para pendidik ekonomi, sebab minat siswa SMA terhadap pelajaran ekonomi semakin menurun. Terbukti dengan menurunnya siswa yang mengambil mata uji ekonomi pada saat ujian nasional. Upaya perbaikan proses pembelajaran dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan kualitas guru, lingkungan belajar dan sumber belajar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran melalui lesson study. Dengan Lesson Studyguru dapat melakukan kolaborasi dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran dan refleksi setelah pelaksanaan guna perbaikan pembelajaran selanjutnya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan tiga tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pendampingan dan implementasi di sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 peserta pelatihan, 25 orang aktif selama sosialisasi,20 orang aktif pendampingan dan 15 orang yang mampu mengimplementasikan perencanaan dalam lesson study. Kata kunci: lesson study, pelajaran ekonomi AbstractThe problem of the quality of economic learning is the main concern of economic educators, because the interest of high school students in learning economics is decreasing. Evidenced by the decline in students who took the eye of economic tests at the national exam. Efforts to improve the learning process can be done through improving teacher quality, learning environment and learning resources. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of teachers to carry out the learning process through lesson study. With Lesson Studythe teacher can collaborate in developing learning plans and reflections after implementation to improve subsequent learning. The activities are carried out in three stages, namely socialization, mentoring and implementation in schools. The results of the activity showed that out of 25 trainees, 25 were active during the socialization, 20 active mentoring people and 15 people were able to implement the planning in the lesson study. Key Words: Lesson Study, economics

Abstract

Agriculture sector will be adversly affected by climate change. And as a sector that absorbs the majority of  Indonesia’s employment impacts may be substantial. As the hydrological cycle is likely to be influenced b global warming, agriculture sector will have to adapt to this change. Moreover the impact on agriculture is closely linked to food security. The study aims to describe the climate change to Indonesia farmers that will result from the improved climate change management information in farming. The method used to analyze the climate change effect is descriptive method which presents economic data. The result shows that climate change reduce paddy filed and shifted the wet and dry seasons in many regions in Indonesia. The results of the study can be used by policy makers and the agencies involved in climate change information management.Keywords: climate change, farming, paddy field.

Abstract

Digital technology-based learning media has not been widely used yet in SMA Negeri 1 Singosari. The economic subject learning process used by the teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Singosari, in textbooks and PowerPoint, does not maximize the facilities and potential available in this digital era, hindering students' capability in learning well. The school rules that do not prohibit students from bringing smartphones to school and the development of media and technology can minimize the obstacle. This research and development aim to develop an android game-based learning media called "Economic Monopoly (Ecopoly)" for 10th grader economic subject of SMA Negeri 1 Singosari in some chapters such as Sentral Bank, Payment Method, and Payment Tool. The study design for this research is the R&D method that refers to the ADDIE model. The developed media later will be validated by the subject expert, media expert, and the users. The final expert validation result show that Economic Monopoly (Ecopoly), referred to as "Very Worthy, " is used as an economic subject learning media for sentral bank, payment method, and payment tool.
