Abstract

This character education should be done from an early age, since an early age is the golden period of development (golden age) that its success largely determine the quality of a child in his adult life. all aspects of development in early childhood, indeed entered the stage or a very sensitive period. That is, if this stage is able to optimize the educational character of the child by providing a variety of stimulating productive, then the child character development in adulthood, will also take place productively. The current obstacle is modern education is dominated by the character of Western education offers a variety of educational concept-laden theories of psychology and philosophy of education. However, the concept that they offer hasn’t been able to give birth to a human being and a citizen who have cultural values and national character as well as religious or human-aware task and purpose of his life. Through educational methods, Islam offers a solution concept as the birth of a generation that is ready to sail and interpret life.

Abstract

In the learning process, motivation is necessary both performed inside and outside the classroom, because someone who does not have the motivation to learn, he will be difficult for doing in learning activities. Someone who performs learning activities without any motivation from outside himself is an intrinsic motivation. It is very important in learning activities for students. However, someone who does not have a desire to learn, push from outside himself is expected extrinsic motivation. The challenge of professional teacher is how to change the students who do not have motivation to be motivated students in learning through the guidance and counseling in schools.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of skill process in natural science and motivation of students learning toward of students’ creativity. The research method is survey method with correlation technical. The sample is 40 students with simple random technique. The skill process data of natural science is collected by test, while the data of students’ learning motivation and students’ creativity is collected in questionnaire form. The data analysis is done by regression and correlation analysis. The research result is shown that; 1) There is an influence of the skill process in natural science toward learning creativity. 2) There is influence of students learning motivation toward learning creativity. 3) There is an influence the skill process in natural science and students learning motivation together toward students’ creativity.

Abstract

Social problems that often occur in Indonesia, especially in society environment is not something new in this modern era. The more sophisticated the development of the times makes children, teenagers and even adults difficult to control their personality that reflects the respect and discipline on the surrounding environment or against themselves will reflect the character of the poor. This will lead to juvenile delinquency, criminal acts, robbery and even free life style that can harm themselves or society. Social problems that often occur in the social environment not only has implications for adolescents but also has an impact on the students behavior at school even the students at elementary schools. Social problems, one of the effect that can cause the student less discipline. The solution for the student discipline at school is a character education. To be able to implement a character education at schools, especially at elementary school, it is necessary a good understanding of character education for the teacher, i.e. understanding of the notion of character education, values of character education, and the development of character education at elementary schools.

Abstract

Learning is a process of the interaction of learners with educators and learning resources in a learning environment. At elementary school age children experience rapid growth both in the physical and intelligence. Science is knowledge that is verifiable by using scientific methods. The process skills and scientific attitude can be trained to learners to learn science. The nature of science is a product, process and scientific attitude. The process of learning with a scientific approach which touches three domains are cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Results of study with scientific approach makes students productive, creative, and innovative. Enhancement affective through the strengthening of attitudes, skills and integrated knowledge. Five basic learning experiences in the scientific approach is to observe, ask, gather information, associates, and communicate.

Abstract

Multicultural education needs to be nurtured both in formal and non-formal education because of Indonesia's cultural potential, tradition, and geographical environment, and demographics is remarkable. Education has a major role to play in promoting multicultural understanding. The cultivation of such understanding should be carried out as early as possible, so that it will continue to be constructed in the cognition of the child's sense of ownership and pride of the nation's culture until he grows up so that a democratic and egalitarian attitude will emerge to accept cultural diversity. To achieve that, the strategy of multicultural education development is needed. Multicultural education development strategies that can be undertaken, ie curriculum development, professional quality improvement of educational staff, development of education management systems, development of higher education system, equality of community perception, inculcation of recognition and appreciation of diversity (culture or culture, ethnicity, race, Religion, worldview and so on), avoiding views that assume that one group is superior to the other, and fosters and accustoms to a dialogical attitude.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia quantitatively have achieved significant progress. It is can be proved by statistics that 67.24% of the population in Indonesia has been freed from illiteracy. But this success unfollowed by the success of output education. There are various problems of education became in Indonesia, for example : children’s moral decline of the nation, lacking work ethic, low skills, corruption and increased of unemployment intellectuals. At least, there are three factors causes the problem of education in Indonesia from the learning aspect, first; approach in learning, all this time education and learning just emphasizes on uniformity behavior, it hope be regularity, order and certainty. Second; curriculum change. Often curriculum change lead to confusion in determining the direction of teacher learning. and the third is the competence of teacher. The solution is. Should a teacher looking at students as a person who should be developed, and equipped with the solution of various problems of life, the ultimate goal of learning which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The conventional and modern methods should be applied equally. A teacher should be master the four competencies, namely: pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. And the teacher should be a role model for their students.

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan alat untuk berkomunikasi. Perkembangan bahasa bagi anak dimulai sejak bayi melalui pengalaman dan pertumbuhan bahasa. Pengembangan kemampuan berbahasa bagi anak usia dini bertujuan agar anak mampu berkomunikasi secara lisan dengan lingkungannya. Ada empat keterampilan berbahasa yaitu menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Konteks pengembangan bahasa hendaknya juga meliputi empat keterampilan tersebut. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa meliputi kegiatan yang dapat menstimulasi kemampuan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Anak usia dini mempunyai karakteritik yang unik. Dunia mereka adalah dunia bermain. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengembangan bahasa yang dilakukan harus menggunakan strategi yang sesuai dengan dunia mereka. Banyak media yang bisa membantu guru dan orang tua dalam pengembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Anak-anak sekarang bisa mendownload sendiri seperti lagu/nyanyian dan cerita anak-anak. Media ini sekarang sangat disenangi anak-anak. Orang tua tinggal membimbing agar hasilnya lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Teacher is the most important factor in Education, because the teacher is as the facilitator for the students in learning process to achieve the goal of education (instructional, institutional, national). A teacher will be able to teach optimally if there is a role of the headmaster in managerial. Therefore, the headmaster must be able to stimulate the teachers in order to increase their performance. Headmaster’s good management plays a crucial role in increasing teacher’s competence.

Abstract

Boy Scouts are able to realize the personal character of a learner, especially at the basic level in elementary school. It can be established the nature of discipline for learners in daily activity. The purpose of scouting is to educate and develop the nurture of children and youth in the mental, moral, spiritual, intellectual youth to become good and useful individual, society, religion and nation. Character education aims to improve the quality of the implementation and results of school education towards achieving the formation of character and noble character of learners as a whole, integrated and balanced. Through education scouts expected that learners are able to independently improve science, study, internalize and personalize the character values and noble character that manifested itself in the behavior of everyday life. Education scouts created the character of learners who complete and thorough investigation not only shaping students into a personal smart and good, but also mold them into good actors for change in his own life, which in turn will donate a change in the social order of society.
