Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) is an Islamic elementary educational institution that has a certain distinction compared to general elementary education known as Sekolah Dasar (SD). The difference of MI, as a leading elementary school that not only develop general knowledge but also build Islamic character, places it in a very strategic position to build young generation’s character since their early ages. Unfortunately, it is widely found in Indonesia that there are still many MIs that have no good quality of education yet. This condition leads to the fact that the people’s preference goes more to SD than MI. This article attempts to give brief elaboration school-based management and teachers’ competence as the strategies to increase the quality of education in MI so that it becomes the society’s choices.

Abstract

Language is one of aspects that needs to be incressed for the development of early childhood. This study aims at determining the effect of listening and singing the songs on language development in early childhood at TPA Permata Bunda Metro. The design of this research is Quasi experiment with Nonequivalent control group pretest - postest design. The data collecting technique used observation sheet with a population of 10 children. The sampling technique was sampling random of 5 children. The normality test used Shapiro wilk. The data analized use Mann Whiney U test. The result shows that the value of Mann Whiney U test on language development with significant value 0.01 (P<0.05), it can be concluded that listening and singing the song activity can influence to language development for early childhood.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative approach with case study. Data collection technique is done by (1) depth interview, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation. Data were analyzed by interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. Validity checking is done with credibility test, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The formation of noble character through the application of affective education that is represented in attitudes, attitudes, and gentle attitudes there is convincing evidence can have positive implications for the increase in awareness of worship, academic achievement, and the laudable behavior of learners in elementary education. Attentiveness creates an atmosphere of learning directed, controlled and measurable. The activity of the teacher's soul is focused on the condition of the learners to be understood, understood, evaluated and improved and optimized for their potential, and supported by the attitude of affection which creates a warm learning atmosphere and harmony in communicating between teachers and learners. The activity of the soul of the teacher who respects, loves, recognizes and upholds the existence of the learners is reflected in his attitude of a loving and loving parent towards his child and equipped with gentle attitude in creating a comfortable learning atmosphere (learning is fun), happy, passionate and fresh. The humanist, democratic and integrating human soul activity is reflected in its gentle, attractive, warm, empathetic, earthy, selfish, arrogant and authoritarian manner.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning model of Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) and measure an increaseing in the achievements of science through a model of TGT on the students of class V MI Gebanganom Semarang Timur. The research used a classroom action reasearchs. This includes several methods PTK stages, namely planning, action, the observation and reflection. The process of the study was conducted as much as 2 cycle and 1 pre- cycle. The indicator of the success of this research is increasing the achievements science. The results of research based on the show that an increase in the learning achievements was significant. It is known of the data activities cycle I being active learn students of 73,5 %, while cycle II on the rise of 89,28 %. This is evident from the percentage of completeness learned in classical, namely of the data early or pre- cycle of 47,05 %, on the cycle I of 76,47 %, and in the cycle II on the rise of 94,12 %. Thus, the implementation of learning model TGT was very effective to improve the student’s achievement.

Abstract

Life skill education is an education that provides basic supplies and training to learners about the values of life needed and useful for the development of everyday life. Research on integrated life skill education in enterpreneurship subject in SMP Cahaya Bangsa School aims to know what life skill orientation in Entrepreneurship subject and examine the extent of life skill education implementation in Enterpreneurship subject. The design of this study used qualitative research with case study type. A descriptive inductive approach is used to describe a case by understanding symptoms and meaning. Researchers use in-depth interview techniques, digging information with direct observation, and study documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher through three main components, namely, data reduction, display data, and data conclusion drawing. The results showed that the concept of life skill education is internalized in the entrepreneurship subject syllabus, then the teacher describes it in various learning activities such as washing activities, ironing activities, live in program, and market day. Evaluation done by teacher in assessing ability of life skill of student is by observing directly activity in enterpreneurship subject and student also given duty to write report result of activity live in.

Abstract

Science is one of the most important subject in senior high school. Even though for SMPN 5 Metro students. Increasing learning result is the teacher responsibly. Every teacher hoped to motivate and increase the students learning result. So that, number of effort has been tried to fulfill this big job.SMPN 5 Metro is one of the junior high schools in Metro city. Base on the pre-survey data, the students learning result of science subject and their learning participation was still low. This problems caused by some factors, both internal and external factor has accured in learning process. The researcher tried to implement the JIGSAW type of learning cooperative model fo recovering this problem. After conducting the research by implementating JIGSAW type of learning cooperative model in science subject, the researcher found that the students learning result can be increased 36,34%. Whereas 46,66% of students can fulfill MMC 70, before treatment and 83% after treatmen. It was also about the students learning activities can be improved till 8,3%, from 73% up to 81,3% at the end of second cycle. It is mean that JIGSAW type of learning cooperative model can increase the students learning result and their learning activities effectively. This JIGSAW type of learning cooperative model can also be an alternative learning model in science instructional process.

Abstract

This research has a background in education that the phenomenon should be addressed immediately, because there are still many as an educator has not been able to exercise his duty and many educators who deliver learning aren't competent in the field of science, so be bad for generations beyond. Example of parents and teachers make the most superior education concept in the process of growth and development of learners. The research problem is how to understand the exemplary of parents and teachers to educate the children in its relevance towards the growth and development of the child's parents and teachers Example in the growth and development of children Parenthood And Teacher In Growth and Development of Early Childhood (Perspective Abdullah Nashih Ulwan Review Book of Tarbiyyah Al-Aulad Fi Al-Islam ). The researchers used library research and used the historical and philosophical approach. In analyzing the data, researchers used “tekhnik analisis dan deskriptik analitik” The Result showed that that the concept Model of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan was influentif and it was the most convincing method of success in preparing children to improve their personality in moral, social, and spiritual. Therefore as an educator must possess a good example figure, according to the criteria of the teachings given by Islam on akhlakul karimah.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah as a non-formal educational institution based on religion in Indonesia whose existence has been acknowledged in the Uandang Law according to Director General number 3201 education letter 2013 The existence and role of the Takmiliyah Diniyah Education Institute in this country has no doubt. This existence is strengthened by the establishment of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning with the National Education System in which there is an effort to accommodate the existence of this institution to be part of the education system in this country, when the Diniyah Madrasah Takmiliyah is part of non-formal education. This research focuses on answering two formulated problems: (1) how the implementation of MADIN in Jepara Regency is; (2) what factors have caused the Madrasah Diniyyah Takmiliah at Jepara unable to compete other educational institutions.; (3) What problems are faced by MADIN and how do the solutions work. The design of this study is a case study (field study) or field research. This study aims to examine in depth the causal factors that the education of the Dinniyah Takmiliyah madrasa is considered to be less competitive in education world.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects before the application of Big Book media, the process of applying Big Book media and student learning outcomes after the application of Big Book media in class IV MI Naelushibyan. The research method used is classroom action research through four repetitive stages of planning, implementation, observation or observation, and reflection. The object of research was 15 students. The research instrument consisted of a teacher activity observation sheet, a student activity observation sheet and a written test. Data collection techniques use observation and test techniques. The results obtained from this study are the learning outcomes of students in the pre cycle get an average score of 53. The first cycle obtained the average value of teacher activity 72.2% and cycle II obtained an average value of 94.4%. Student activity in cycle I obtained an average value of 69.21% and cycle II obtained an average value of 91.07%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of 77, cycle II obtained an average value of 83.6. It can be concluded that Big Book media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an illustration of the implementation resultof the learning design of character education courses based on a humanistic approach. This approach is used in order to provide atmospheric process of learning activities by providing stimulus to students as subjects in the learning process to acquire skills, knowledge, values and attitudes that are able to bring self-awareness as a person. Previously, researcher have conducted development research to produce design of character education course based on humanistic approach. In this study, the research method used was a survey, in which researcher cited describing the results of the implementation of the learning process in the character education course based on a humanistic approach at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin in 2017 majoring in Islamic Madrasah Teacher Education, with 72 samples. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the design of character education courses based on the humanistic approach that has been designed previously, it is known that in 5 times learning processes, 75% of students feel that they have experienced the development of their inner values, 80% feel that each of them knows themselves more deeply than the past, and 87% felt that they had a clearer purpose in life, and 89% said that their inner potential could be more explored and more deep after do sequence of value project and activities. In general, there is an increase values and attitudes in students by 40%, to 75% -89%, where previously only at the percentage of 35-63%.
