Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Program Adiwiyata merupakan program pemerintah yang diciptakan akibat penurunan kualitas lingkungan. Siswa sebagai bagian dari masyarakat perlu dididik mengenai kepedulian terhadap lingkungan yang dapat ditumbuhkan melalui pendidikan. Penelitian mengenai Adiwiyata telah banyak dilakukan namun informasi peran Adiwiyata dalam mengembangkan terbentuknya karakter peduli lingkungan masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Program Adiwiyata dalam pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan di Sekolah Adiwiyata Mandiri SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Subjek penelitian dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, terdiri dari informan utama dan informan pendukung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan empat aspek Program Adiwiyata berperan dalam menciptakan situasi dan kondisi yang mendukung pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Adiwiyata program is a government program that was created as a result of environmental degradation. Students as part of the community need to be educated about caring for the environment that can be cultivated through education. Research on Adiwiyata has much to do but get Adiwiyata role in developing the character formation of environmental awareness is still limited. This study aims to analyze the role Adiwiyata in the development of environmentally conscious character in Adiwiyata Independent School SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. This study used a qualitative approach case study. Subjects selected by purposive sampling technique, consisting of key informants and informant support. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique authenticity of data using triangulation techniques and resources. The results showed that the implementation of the four aspects of Adiwiyata role in creating conditions that support the development of environmentally conscious character.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun bahan ajar Bioenergi dengan menerapkan model science integrated. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Sesuai hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan; penerapkan Model Science Integrated dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengeksplorasi sumber belajar di masyarakat dan mampu menyampaikan kejadian-kejadian di masyarakat, setelah melakukan eksplorasi dari berbagai sumber belajar. Sebagian besar mendapatkan nilai A dan AB, tidak ada mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah B dan mahasiswa merespon baik, pembelajaran Bioenergi menerapkan Model Science Integrated. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The aim of research was to improve students' ability in compiling teaching materials of Bioenergy by applying the model of integrated science. Research using action research methods class. According to the results of research that has been obtained, it can be concluded; Integrated Science appied in order to improve the ability of students to explore learning resources in the community was able to convey the events in the community, after exploration of a variety of learning resources. Most get an A and AB, no students who score below B and the students responded well.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan capaian literasi sains siswa baik aspek konten, proses dan sikap sains siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran IPA terpadu dengan tipe shared.  Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran aktivitas siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran IPA terpadu dengan tipe shared. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-postest design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitain ini terdiri dari tes pilihan ganda untuk menjaring capaian konten dan proses sains siswa, skala sikap untuk menjaring sikap sains siswa serta lembar observasi aktivitas siswa yang digunakan untuk menjaring aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA terpadu dengan tipe shared dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains baik aspek konten, proses dan sikap sains. Capaian konten, proses dan sikap sains siswa secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan dalam kategori sedang. Karakteristik pembelajaran IPA terpadu dengan tipe shared yang diimplementasikan yaitu; dapat mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa, bersifat student centered, berbasis pada pendekatan proses, aktivitas yang dominan selama proses pembelajaran aktivitas eksperimen dan diskusi. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study were to describe the achievements of students’ science literacy in science content, process and attitude after get integrated science learning with shared type. In addition, this study also aims to provide an overview of students’ activity on integrated science learning with shared type. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. Instruments used in this research consists of multiple-choice tests to encompass the achievements of student’s science content and process, attitude scale to capture the students’ science attitude as well as student activity observation sheet that is used to capture the activity of students during the learning process. The results show that integrated science learning with shared types can be improve students’ science literacy in content, process and science’s attitude. Achievement of content, process and science attitudes of students overall has increased in the medium category. The characteristics of integrated science learning with shared types are implemented can be develop students' science literacy skills, student centered, based on the process approach, the dominant activity during the learning process of experimentation and discussion activities.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan alat peraga boneka edukatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B MTs Negeri Gajah tahun ajaran 2015/2016 pada semester ganjil. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar yang didapatkan dari pretest dan posttest, lembar observasi sikap ilmiah siswa dan lembar angket tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap alat peraga boneka edukatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga boneka edukatif layak digunakan karena mempunyai nilai kelayakan dari segi media sebesar 93,74% dan segi materi 93,51% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil belajar kognitif dianalisis menggunakan uji N-gain dan uji t yang menunjukkan peningkatan sedang yaitu 0,544 pada uji N-gain setelah itu diuji menggunakan uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung>ttabel (11,481>2,00) dikategorikan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif meningkat secara signifikan. Sikap ilmiah siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pertemuannya. Rasa ingin tahu siswa mendapatkan skor 79,04%, teliti mendapatkan skor 81,97%, dan bekerja sama mendapatkan skor 82,23%. Dengan demikian, alat peraga boneka edukatif merupakan alat peraga yang layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims to determine the properness and effectiveness of teaching aids educational doll to increase learning outcomes and scientific attitudes. This research use Research and Development (R&D) method. Sampel was class VII B MTs Negeri Gajah students in odd semester of academic year 2015/2016. The data of learning outcomes was collectied by using  pretest and posttest, observation sheet of students’ scientific attitude, and questionnaire sheet of students and teacher response towards teaching aids educational doll. The results show that the teaching aids educational doll is proper to be applied because it has proper value in terms of media amounted to 93,74% and 93,51% in term of material with criteria very proper. Cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using N-gain test and t-test which showed  modest increase that is 0,544 to test N-gain after it was tested using the t test showed the value tcount > ttable (11.481 > 2.00) considered that the cognitive learning increased significantly. Scientific attitude of students also increased at every meeting. Curiosity of students get a score of 79.04%, carefully get a score of 81.97%, and work together to get a score of 82.23%. Thus, teaching aids educational doll props is a viable and effective media used to improve learning outcomes and scientific attitude of students.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Berdasarkan diskusi awal dengan beberapa guru Biologi pada kegiatan MGMP, teridentifikasi bahwa  salah satu sebab mengapa instrumen penilaian masih lebih berfokus untuk menilai pengetahuan (aspek kognitif) adalah karena keterbatasan pengetahuan (lack of knowledge) dan keterbatasan keterampilan untuk berkreasi (lack of  skills)  untuk mengembangkan sendiri variasi jenis instrumen dan teknik penilaian otentik.  Oleh sebab itu, solusi yang tepat adalah pendampingan guru dalam bentuk pelatihan dalam jabatan (in service training). Pendampingan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk focus group discussion (FGD) dan model pendampingan partisiporis. Setelah kegiatan pendampingan guru lebih mengerti berbagai variasi AA untuk diaplikasikan dengan munculnya diagram Venn, diagram Vee, peta konsep, lembar observasi, penilaian diri, tes dan sebagainya dalam RPP. Hasi refleksi penerapan AA dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih aktif berpikir dan produktif. Abstract _______________________________________________________________ Pre-eliminary discussion with Biology teachers showed  that a reason why learning assessment is still focussing on cognitive aspect is because of lack of knowledge and skill to develop various authentic assessments (AA). The best solution to overcome this problem is conducting in-service training for the teachers community. This training was conducted by focus group discussion and participatory training. It is found that teachers developed more various AA in Biology learning  such as Venn diagram, Vee diagram,concept map, observation sheet, self assessment, test and others after training. Reflection of AA application in the classroom also showed that students became more actively thinking and were more productive when learning.

Abstract

Natural Science is one of the subjects in Junior High School (SMP). Preliminary survey shows that many (65%) of students who have not finished learning science. The subject matter of science is not yet integrated. Teacher centered learning. Therefore, it is carried out an integrated science learning based on guided inquiry. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of integrated IPA learning based on guided inquiry to improve the competence of learners. This research uses quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest group control design. The subjects of the study were students of eight grades at SMP Negeri 24 Padang. Data were collected using observation sheets, learning outcome test, skill assessment sheets, and attitude questionnaires. The result of the research indicates that the learning of integrated science based on guided inquiry is effectively to improve the student’s competence, based on: (1) Mastery learning of has been achieved by most (87.5%) students on knowledge competence, 96.9% on skills and 100% on attitude competence. (2) The improvement of student’s competency on experiment class including high category on knowledge domain, (3) Average competence of experiment class is higher than control class. (4) The effect of the implementation of integrated science based on guided inquiry to the student’s competence including large categories. (5) Student response to the implementation of learning is very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh pendekatan JAS berbantuan LKS PBL dalam pembelajaran materi ekosistem terhadap penguasaan KPS siswa SMP Negeri 3 Ungaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pra Eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, kelas VII H sebagai kelas eksperimen sedangkan kelas VII J sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, lembar observasi, tes dan metode angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji koefisien korelasi nilai observasi sebesar 0,83 dan nilai koefisien determinasi 68,8% sedangkan dari nilai posttest sebesar 0,71 dan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 50,3%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan JAS berbantuan LKS PBL berpengaruh kuat terhadap KPS siswa.This research was to explain the influence of the Jelajah Alam Sekitar approach assisted by Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet in teaching the ecosystem for the student’s science process skills at Junior High School 3 Ungaran. This research was an Experimental Research with Pre design Experiments. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, class VII H as an experimental class while the class VII J as the control class. Data collected by using the method of documentation, observation sheets, test and questionnaire. The results showed observation correlation coefficient was 0,83 and magnified determination coefficient was 68,8% meanwhile correlation coefficient posttest value was 0,71 and magnified determination coefficient was 50,3 %. It can be concluded that Jelajah Alam Sekitar approach assisted Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet has strong influence toward the student science process skill.

Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Komunikasi yang kurang lancar membawa akibat terhadap pesan yang disampaikan oleh guru, maka dari itu dukungan media sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran IPA yang dapat diaplikasikan di kelas yaitu media Kokami. Pembelajaran menggunakan media Kokami melalui permainan dan diskusi antar kelompok mengakibatkan kemampuan kognisi siswa akan lebih dominan, selain itu akan menghidupkan aktivitas belajar di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Kokami terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada tema bahan kimia dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis quasi experimental design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 32 Semarang dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII. Hasil uji perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kreatif diperoleh thitung= 3,853 sedangkan ttabel= 1,671 sehingga rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol. Perbedaan rata-rata aktivitas belajar didapatkan hasil thitung= 3,937 sedangkan ttabel= 1,671 sehingga rata-rata nilai aktivitas belajar kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol. Media Kokami berpengaruh kuat terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan rb=0,632 dan media Kokami berpengaruh sedang terhadap aktivitas belajar dengan rb=0,522. Abstract_______________________________________________________________The use of instructional media in a learning activity is necessary because one of its purposes is to help some unclear communication between teacher and students. Hence Kokami is one of media that can be used through games and discussions to improve students’ cognitive abilities and learning activities in the classroom. This research aims to determine the effect of Kokami media towards students’ creative thinking skill and learning activities on the theme material of chemicals in life. This was an experimental research with quasi-experimental design. It was conducted at SMP Negeri 32 Semarang with eighth grade students as research subjects. The result of the difference in means of creative thinking skills obtained tcount = 3.853, while ttable = 1.671 so it means that the means of creative thinking skills of experiment group is higher than the control group. The means difference of learning activity obtained tcount = 3.937, while ttable = 1.671 so it means that the means of learning activity experiment group is higher than the control group.  Therefore it can be concluded that Kokami media strongly influence students’ creative thinking skills with rb = 0.632 and moderately influence students’ learning activities with rb = 0.522.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________Proses pembelajaran IPA tidak hanya belajar bagaimana mengingat materi, tetapi juga menguasai keterampilan proses sains dan mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan modul cahaya berbasis salingtemas yang dalam pembelajarannya memadukan tema cahaya dengan sains, lingkungan, teknologi dan masyarakat (salingtemas) untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains siswa. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan Salingtemas dalam pembelajaran, siswa dapat memahami penerapan sifat-sifat cahaya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan modul cahaya berbasis salingtemas terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian quasi experimental design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 7 Magelang dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan modul cahaya berbasis Salingtemas efektif terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan hasil thitung 7,813 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,67. Dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas atau melampaui KKM pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak 28 siswa dan pada kelas kontrol sebanyak 5 siswa.  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Science learning process does not only consist l how to remember the material, but also master the science process skills and apply them in daily life. This research used a module with topic of Light based science, environment, technology and society (SETS) to integrate the theme of Light with SETS approach to improve Science Process Skills (SPS) of students. By applying SETS approach in learning process, students can understand the application of the characteristics of light in everyday life. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of module to students’ science process skills. It was an experimental study with quasi-experimental research design. This research was conducted at SMP 7 Magelang with eighth grade students as research subject. The result showed that the use of modules is effective to improve students’ science process skills where tcount 7.813 is greater than ttable 1.67. Students who pass KKM score in experiment group were 28 students and in control group were 5 students.

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 menerapkan konsep yang terpadu. Hal ini bertujuan agar siswa mampu memecahkan masalah secara berkarakter dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Selain itu pembelajaran IPA yang terpadu yang bersifat menyenangkan dan menghibur (science edutainmen) juga memberikan peluang pada siswa untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan karakter ilmiah siswa. Pendekatan science edutainment dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan media permainan monopoli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Two- Group Posttest Only Design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan permainan monopoli berbasis science edutainment terhadap minat belajar dan karakter ilmiah siswa kelas VIII.  Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  permainan monopoli berbasis science edutainment efektif terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VIII dengan kriteria minat belajar sangat tinggi. Permainan monopoli berbasis science edutainment juga  efektif terhadap karakter ilmiah siswa kelas VIII dengan kriteria karakter ilmiah membudaya. Penelitian ini didukung oleh data hasil belajar kognitif siswa (posttest). Hasil analisis data nilai posttest menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara hasil belajar kognitif dengan minat belajar dan karakter ilmiah siswa kelas VIII. AbstractBased on Curriculum 2013, science learning process should apply an integrated concept. It is intended to make students being able to solve their problem and develop their character in various life aspects. An integrated science learning process that is both fun and entertaining or science edutainment also provides opportunities for students to enhance their interest in learning and scientific character. Science edutainment approach is presented in monopoly game. This study was an experimental study with two-group posttest only design that aims to determine the effectiveness of monopoly game based on science edutainment toward 8th grade students’ learning interest and scientific character. The sampling technique was random sampling that derived VIII A as the experimental group and VIII B as the control group. The results shows that the monopoly game based on science edutainment is effective on learning interest of 8th grade students with very high criteria. Monopoly game based on science edutainment is also effective toward the scientific character of 8th grade students with entrenched/established criteria. This research is supported by the cognitive learning outcomes as posttest. The results of posttest analysis values indicate a positive relationship between the cognitive learning with students’ learning interest and scientific character.
