Abstract

Bisnis Ritel di Indonesia secara umum dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi dua yaitu, ritel modern dan ritel tradisional. Ritel modern sebenarnya merupakan pengembangan dari ritel tradisional, yang pada praktiknya mengaplikasikan konsep yang modern, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan mengakomodasi perkembangan gaya hidup di masyarakat.Terutama jika mengamati jumlah populasi penduduk Indonesia pada tahun 2015 yang diperkirakan mencapai kurang lebih 250 juta jiwa. Kebiasaan berbelanja masyarakat saat ini pun juga bergeser, hingga pasar modern selalu diminati masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu maka potensi pertumbuhan  ritel modern akan lebih cepat pada semua kota di Indonesia. Begitu juga dengan masyarakat Kota Bukittinggi, sudah terjadi pergeseran tempat belanja konsumen dari pasar tradisional ke Ritel modern. Sejalan dengan pertumbuhan jumlah tempat belanja ritel modern ini juga semakin meningkat di Kota Bukittinggi dari tahun ke tahun sampai tahun 2014 berjumlah 136  ritel modern.permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini yaitu ; Bagaimana karakteristik konsumen dalam berbelanja pada ritel modern diKota Bukittinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : unutk mengetahui karakteristik  konsumen dalam berbelanja pada ritel modern di Kota Bukittinggi. Sampel dari penelitian ini: konsumen ritel modern di Kota Bukittinggi sebanyak 200 responden dengan menggunakan teknik sampling accidental Non Probability sampling. Teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkkan bahwa konsumen yang dominan berbelanja pada ritel modern adalah perempauan, usia produktif 26-35 tahun, pada umumnya berprofesi sebagai PNS dengan penghasilan rata-rata lebih dari Rp.5 juta dengan frekuensi belanja rata-rata satu bulan 3-4 kali sebulan

Abstract

This research is conducted at PT Indmira Yogyakarta a private company engaged in agrocomplex since 1985 and established by Ir. Sumarno. To continue to maintain and improve the quality of existing products, the company consider the importance of effort to develop the performance of its employees. For the purpose of this study, aspects that can affect employee performance are analyzed those affects are work competence, motivation and organizational support. The methods of data collection used in this study are interviews, literature studies and questionnaires. Questionnaires in this study use Likert measurement scale by giving a score of 1-5 on the answers, and sampling uses Probability Sampling technique for 65 samples. The method of analysis uses are validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, classic assumption, coefficient determination, F test and t test. Result of this research obtains value of adjusted R square equal to 0,395. This means that work competence, motivation, and organizational support influence 39,5% employee performance. The equation resulted from multiple linear regression is  Y = 6,256 + 0,389X1 + 0,059X2 + 0,324X3. The meaning of the equation are work competence variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with coefficient value of 0.389. Variable of motivation (X2) have positive but not significant effect on employee performance (Y) with coefficient value equal to 0,059. Variable organizational support (X3) has positive and significant effect to employee performance (Y) with coefficient value equal to 0,324. So Of the three variables, work competence variable (X1) has the greatest effect on employee performance (Y) of 0.389. It is recommended that if the company wants to improve employee performance significantly, it can be by considering the competence of work owned by its employees. because From the results of multiple linear analysis, work competence has the greatest influence compared to motivation and organizational support.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between selected marketing mix elements and the creation of brand equity.  Price affect perceived quality on a brand to be purchased or used.  Effective marketing communication is one of the main tools in establishing brand equity of firms or products.  As we know there are a brand equity, brand equity consist of brand awareness, brand association, perceive quality and brand loyalty.  The main purpose of this final project is to identify the influence of price and sales promotion to brand equity at Garuda Indonesia customer’s on Semarang-Jakarta route.  The data used in this project were the primary data and secondary data.  Data collection techniques used were questionnaries and lieterature.  100 respondents are use sample selected based on purposive sampling.  The analysis techniques used were the validity and reliability, normality test, linearity test, multicolerate test, heterokedatisitas test, multiple result of research analysis, the coefficient of determination, t test and f test.  the result of research, the influence of price is 0,041 with a significance of 0,597 and sales promotion is 0,523 with a significance of 0,000.  Base computation F obtained at 39,791 with a significance of 0,000.  Because the significance value less than 0,05 it means that there is a significant relationship beetwen the variable price and sales promotion to brand equity.  It is concluded that price has a positive impact but insignificant on brand equity.  Sales promotion has a positive and significant on brand equity.  Multiple Regression Analysis 0,439 this means that 43,9% of the variation in brand equity can be explained by the variable of price and sales promotion and the rest (100%-43,9%=56,1%) is explained by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of interpersonal skill, salesmanship skill, technical skill, and work motivation on salesperson performance PT United Tractors Tbk. Research variables include: interpersonal skill (X1), salesmanship skill (X2), technical skill (X3), work motivation (X4) as independent variables, and salesperson performance (Y) as dependent variable. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. Samples are selected by using the method of purposive sampling. 55 salesperson are selected as samples in this study. Data collections techniques were using questionnaires, interview, observation, and documentary study. Based on the result of this study, interpersonal skill, salesmanship skill, technical skill, and work motivation have positive and significant influence on salesperson motivation. While the adjusted R square has value 65,9%, it means that interpersonal skill, salesmanship skill, technical skill, and work motivation give contribution to salesperson performance (Y) on 65,9% while 34.1% influenced by other variables which were not described in this study.

Abstract

This research is purposed to find out whether there was any direct or indirect significant and positive influence between service quality which consist of 5 indicators: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible, price, customers’ satisfaction to customers’ loyalty. The population of this research are all exporters of PT.Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang in 2016 which are 80 exporters. The sample technique used for this research is saturation sample which means all exporters. The analysis technique used was path analysis.The result shows that the F test for regression stage 1 and 2 are higher than F table so it is concluded that there is an influence between Service Quality and Price variable to Exporter’s Satisfaction simultaneously or H3 is accepted, and hypothesis that there is an influence between Service Quality, Price, and Exporter's Satisfaction to Exporter’s Loyalty simultaneously or H7 is also accepted. Partially, based on t test for regression coefficient stage 1 and 2, price is proved to have the biggest influence directly and indirectly to customer loyalty with regression coefficient between 3,485 and 4,362. While the coefficient of determination (R test) is obtained by adjusted R2 value = 0.608 = 60.8% shows that the influence of Service Quality, Price, Exporter's Satisfaction on Exporter’s Loyalty is 60,8%, and the influence of other variables that influence the value of exporter's satisfaction variable beyond this research is 39,2%.It is recommended that PT.Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang provides services as promised and in accordance with customer’s expectations, also by improving the service quality by 24 hours availibility of services whether there is a change or no change of stuffing or loading and unloading schedule.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the influence of work motivation, compensation and work environment toward performance of operational employee in PT. Jasco Logistics. The methods of data collection are interview and questionnaire completion. The sample of this research are 73 respondents and analytical method used are the validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression conducted with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) test methods and Goodness of Fit Test The result of regression analysis indicates that work motivation, compensation and work environment have positive influence on performance of employee. Based on t test it is indicated that eadership, motivation, work discipline have positive significant influence on performance of employee. Based on F test, independent variables simutaneuosly influence the performance of employee significantly, with coeficient of determination (R2) of 0,679. This means that 67,9% of performance of employee could be influenced by work motivation, compensation and work environment, while remaining 38,1% is influenced by other variables which are not observed

Abstract

Sales performance has significant role toward marketing performance of a company. Sales performance is constitutedfrom the resultan of salesperson performance in a company. The purpose of this research is to build sales management  model in order to increase sales perfomance  through promoting interpersonal skills, salesmanship  and technical skills of salesperson. Questionnaire is used for collecting data from the salesperson. Multiple linier regression is used to analyze data. The results of this reseach show that interpersonal skills, salesmanships skills and technical skills of salesperson have positive impact toward sales perfomance. Thus, the sales management model is properly  implemented by a company.

Abstract

This research aims to determinethe effect of employee empowerment onorganizational commitment, knowing the influence of learning organization on organizational commitment, and determine the influence of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The sample consisted 120 respondents. The data was collected using a questionnaire, interviews and literature. After that data analysis techniques processed using SEM with AMOS program 22.0. Result of this study indicates that employee empowerment, and learning organization has a significant and positive impact on organizational commitment, as well as organizational commitment effect significant and positive on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). These findings provide useful suggestion for the management in PT. SUCOFINDO (Persero) Semarang Branch Office to learn developing organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior by adopt implementation of specific guidelines that could ultimately lead organizational competitiveness.
