Abstract

The purpose of this research is to use digital media to rekindle a love of reading among students at the Faculty of Islamic Religion at Unismuh Makassar. Studying how people read with digital media is crucial, as such platforms are now an integral part of most people's lives, and notably those of the digital native millennial generation. Digital media is a type of digital content that can be played by digital media players. Students' behavior and routines have been impacted by the prevalence of digital technology in their lives. Reading books is one activity that has experienced significant change among the younger population, particularly among students. Most students today choose to use search engines on their mobile devices to find the information they need for class. The purpose of this study was to collect comprehensive data on how to rekindle students' love of reading through the creative use of existing digital media. A quantitative strategy was employed in the study's analysis. Students fill out a survey to help gather information. Frequency analysis is used to determine how frequently each answer was provided in the collected data. Parametric analysis is supplemented with descriptive analysis to provide light on what may be done to rekindle a love of reading among Unismuh Makassar students. The findings demonstrate a daily digital media consumption rise, from three to twelve hours on average.

Abstract

Independent learning is one of the important aspects of solving Mathematics learning problems. The novelty of this research is the independence of students in solving mathematics learning problems in elementary schools during post-pandemic era. The purpose of this study is to describe the elementary students' independence in solving Mathematics learning problems in the post-COVID-19 pandemic. This research approach is qualitative with a case study design. The research was conducted in sixth-grade students of SDN 01 Papahan Karanganyar. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The researcher tested validity data with technical and source triangulation. The data analysis used interactive analysis techniques, namely data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that most of the students were able to solve mathematical problems in the post-COVID-19 pandemic independently, marked by: 74.07% of students can understand their problems, 92.59% of students could plan their problem solving, 77.78% of students could solve their problems correctly and systematically, and 77.78% of students could re-check the results of solving their problems. The research implies that students who can solve mathematical problems independently will use the knowledge, skills, and experience gained to achieve optimal learning outcomes and use their mindset to solve problems in everyday life without relying on the help of others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the means of worship supporting Islamic religious education in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects used a purposive sampling technique: the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher and six grade X students. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the means of worship at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo still use the same mosque as the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The facilities for worship are quite complete and are used as a place for teaching and learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects such as practice in schools and mentoring activities. Facilities of worship can support Islamic religious education so that it can facilitate students in exploring and developing the potential of faith, so that later they will not only know and understand, but can implement religious knowledge and faith, and can also live side by side with adherents and adherents of other religions. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the role of the mosque as a means of Islamic education can be a barometer in the symbols of Islam, and Ukhuwah Islaminyah, namely the application of the role of mosques in carrying out religious activities and programs inclusively.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the education sector. This can be seen in the shift in the education system from offline to online learning at all levels of education. Elementary schools are one of the educational institutions that implement the online learning system. Indeed, this affects the student's learning interests as they are required to learn from home. This study used the qualitative description method. This study aims to identify the student's learning interests during the implementation of online learning. The results of the study showed that the students tended to have lower learning interests during the pandemic. This condition was influenced by boredom and a lack of monitoring from teachers and parents during the learning process.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of online lectures Via Zoom in thermodynamics courses based on multiple representations using Geogebra on students' conceptual understanding in the midst of physical standing conditions (Pendemic Covid-19). The research method used is preexperimental design (nondesigns). The research phase includes preliminary studies, including field surveys and literature studies. The stage of designing and reviewing test instruments based on Multiple Representations (MR). The MR-based test instrument was then used as an instrument to perform the pretest and posttest. From the analysis of research data, it was found that the average value of students' conceptual understanding before being given treatment was 42, while the average value of student learning outcomes after being given treatment was 77. After the calculations were carried out for hypothesis testing, it was obtained that t count was 4.293 and t table was 1.318, because t arithmetic t table that is 4.293 1.318 then H 0 is rejected. Thus H1 is accepted which states that there is an effect of online lectures via zoom in the thermodynamics subject based on multiple representations using Geogebra on students' conceptual abilities in the midst of the covid -19 pandemic
