Abstract

Traditional people in general are very familiar with the surrounding environment. The nature of humans as socio-cultural beings is understood ecologically as one of the interrelated environments. The view of indigenous peoples regarding humans as an integral part of nature, as well as responsible behavior, full of respect and care for the survival of life in the universe. Local wisdom as a traditional knowledge of the preservation of nature and the environment is seen as something very valuable and rich in benefits in human life.Sasi tradition is one form of customary ceremony carried out by the community that aims to limit and prohibit the taking, utilizing, and use of an item or plant that is in Sasi within a certain time, which must be obeyed and obeyed by the community collectively. The implementation of Sasi aims to maintain the quality and quantity of production as a whole. Since long ago Sasi in Fritu Village aims to protect garden products such as coconuts and marine products. Sasi carried out in Fritu Village is sea Sasi, and land sasi especially for coconut plants. Abstract

The potential of fishery resources in North Maluku still has considerable utilization opportunities, especially Tuna Fish. The advantages of Tuna Fish from Indonesia have enormous potential to dominate the international tuna market. The most commonly known species of tuna are Yellowfin, Bluefin and Albacore. The aforementioned potential by fishermen in the Mandioli islands in improving their standard of living. Fishing communities in the Mandioli islands use fishing technology based on traditional fishing methods, namely fishing with rumpon, fishing, trawls and nets, each type of boat / boat. Specifically for tuna fishing, among others, by using tuna fishing gear with rumpon or pontoon fishing aids. Fishing is carried out when the tuna fish are near the surface of the water by following or cutting the path of its movement. The fishing facilities used in operating this hand fishing rod are inboard type boats and pump boat-type boats. The poverty that plagues the lives of fishermen is caused by complex factors in which these factors are not only related to fluctuations in fish seasons, limited human resources, capital and access, and fish merchant networks. The condition of fishermen who have capital difficulties is forced to try to maintain their fishing equipment as much as possible so that it can be used for a longer period of time. Abstract

Indonesians tend to spend their free time socializing, visiting shopping centers, visiting entertainment venues, or relaxing at their favorite Coffee Shops. Coffee shops in Indonesia are synonymous with simple small shops, with a typical menu of tubruk coffee with bread accompaniment. Coffee shops also have the peculiarity and present an environment that triggers active interaction when someone is in it. Like Billy Samrat Coffee House is one of several places that also develop the same type of business in general, the business that was established approximately 40 years old is located in South Titiwungan, Manado City, it is one of the coffee shops that is crowded with visitors. Not a few consumers also come from various circles of work, social status, education and others. The current phenomenon of coffee shops not only survived in the heyday of coffee shops as interaction stalls in building the discourse of every student, now new appearances that began to appear when the development of information technology penetrated in various parts of the world also influenced coffee shops as interaction stalls because the face that began to shift has now been seen in the coffee shop when the majority of students no longer use coffee shops as interaction stalls in testing every argument but coming and coming together just using the Wi-Fi facility as a bridge through interesting games and photos in carving every social media that exists. Abstract

The development of the agricultural sector is often directed to be able to support the industrial sector that is sought to become a Resilient sector Due to the interrelationships between the agricultural and industrial sectors, industrial development. Agricultural products (agro-industry) are expected to increase the added value of agricultural products and expand job creation. Socioeconomic life is the position or position of a person in a group of people determined by the type of economic activity, education, as well as income. Farmers are those who for a time or remain in control of a piece of agricultural land, master a branch or several branches of a farm business and work on their own, either with their own labor or paid labor. Brown sugar has many benefits such as having a high calorie content, as a natural coloring in food, a high fiber content, so it is good for digestion and inhibits the absorption of cholesterol by the body. The southeast Minahasa Regency area is sloped and overgrown with palm trees, so the economic life of most people in Southeast Minahasa Regency, especially in Ratahan District, is a brown sugar farmer who processes palm juice into brown sugar. In the manufacturing process, palm sugar is generally more natural, so that certain substances contained in it are not damaged and remain intact and do not require the distillation process many times or use additional ingredients to purify it. Abstract

Ethnicity in Indonesia can be found in every society with a wide variety of cultures and customs. From these differences, these ethnicities or tribes can adapt and influence so that they experience the development of a simple society to a more complex society. But it turns out that there are still ethnicities whose lives are primitive and backward and far from a touch of modernization. Ethnicities who are not familiar with modern technology, their lives that depend on nature and are backward are one of the alienated ethnicities living in the interior of Halmahera island, North Maluku Province, namely the Togutil ethnicity. Nomadic life will make their living needs meet if there is still a forest that can be used as a place to hunt and concoct. In order for the activities of the Togutil ethnicity to be as before, they had to find another place to live in terms of forests that had not been evicted. Considering, many of their activities are endangered since the eviction of forests by logging and mining companies around the Lelilef Waibulen Village area, Central Weda District of the Central Halmahera Regency, which does not necessarily provide housing for the Togutil ethnicity. The Togutil people have a system of survival strategies by means of an inherent Imakiriwo culture, shoulder to shoulder to care for and safeguard the remaining natural resources and still maintain their livelihoods by hunting and gathering and still being able to live by getting out of settlements and bartering. Abstract

Indonesia is a country with ethnic diversity. in the world. Each ethnic group has a different social, political, and cultural identity, such as different regional languages customs and traditions, belief systems and so on. Not only rich in culture, but also a country rich in natural resources both in the agricultural sector, fields, and marine products. In North Sulawesi, especially in Minahasa, it is famous for a liquor called "Cap Tikus". This liquor is made from the fermentation and distalation of juice from palm trees. Cap Tikus has become a drink that can be consumed supported by technology, this drink has an important role for the alcoholic beverage industry in Manado City, because it is a raw material for making liquor. Talaitad Village located in Suluun Tareran District, North Sulawesi Province is famous for (Cap Tikus to') or high alcohol content, even up to 80%. Cap tikus, which used to be used for sacred occasions, and other positive things, has now turned into an escape point. Uap tikus is a dangerous drink for health and causes crime when consumed excessively. Although dangerous, cap tikus has benefits when consumed according to the dose (not excessive). Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought great changes to all levels of society in various aspects, including socio-cultural aspects. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced restrictions on social activities between individuals from one another, giving rise to habits that are different from previous lives. In other words, this pandemic has given rise to a new culture of society to respond to existing social activity restriction policies. Various social activities that previously we could do freely, now must be done by implementing health protocols. Even for social activities such as weddings, celebrations, thanksgiving, entertainment, worship and so on, it must be stopped. The existence of the policy of Enforcing Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM). The impact of this pandemic is felt by all parties and circles, anyone cannot deny its existence can only avoid it. The policies of the Central Government and local governments that implement the Implementation of Enforcing Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) have increasingly made the social activities in Leilem Village more tenuous, and after PPKM was relaxed, community social activities also remained tenuous due to the community being accustomed to the social life of the community that had been stretched. Abstract

One of the characteristics of rural communities working to make a living in meeting their needs, namely in the agricultural sector. The village is said to be an agricultural village because the majority of the people grow crops. Agriculture is the basic livelihood of most people in rural areas which has an important role for their lives. Although there are villagers who do not work as farmers, such as carpenters, building coolies, merchants and other jobs, the villagers will refer to themselves as farmers. However, some villagers work in the agricultural sector. Farmers are a group of people who are found in various places in rural areas. They are people who live off the cultivation business by utilizing the resources provided by nature. His agricultural products or some of them will be produced to meet his household needs and the rest will be marketed to earn money that is used to buy various other household needs. Raku Village is a village that has the potential for natural resources that are quite abundant so that this village is also a mainstay of productivity in agriculture, relying on annual crops such as coconut, cloves and nutmeg and there are also other livelihoods such as fishermen and small shops (warungs). At first glance, if you look at some of these results, it will actually promise a future for the farming community in Raku Village. However, when viewed from improving the lives of the Raku Coconut Farmers community, they have not fully enjoyed the mainstay results of this potential. Raku Village coconut farmers produce agricultural products to meet their daily needs. Farmers' incomes are currently a very serious problem because the income earned by farmers is always changing due to various factors including weather and market conditions. Abstract

North Sulawesi Province consists of three major tribes, namely the Minahasa, Sangihe Talaud and Bolaang Mongondow. The three tribes/ethnicities have sub-ethnicities that have different languages and traditions. North Sulawesi Province has several regional languages such as Toulour, Tombulu, Tonsea, Tontembuan, Tonsawang, Ponosakan, and Bantik (from the Minahasa tribe), Sangihe, Siau, Talaud (from Sangihe and Talaud), and Mongondow, Bolaang, Bintauna, Kaidipang (from Bolaang Mongondow). Not only language, culture is also very diverse such as art and culture passed down by ancestors in descending generations. Tulude or kunci taong (key of the year) is held at the end of every January and is filled with traditional ceremonies of a religious nature. Tulude traditional ritual or in Sangir Mandullu'u Tonna language is one of the cultures of the Indonesian nation that is still maintained, fostered and developed by the Sangihe and Talaud people until now experiencing development into a regional cultural art performances. This Tulude traditional ritual ceremony is a tradition of North Nusa residents who live in Bitung City, Tulude by the residents of North Nusa is a traditional year-end party that is a routine activity that is almost carried out by North Nusa residents throughout the Bitung City area. This traditional ceremony is always performed annually at the end of January as an expression of gratitude to God as a form of His care and inclusion in their lives. Abstract

Humans will not be separated from the demands of the role that must be lived in the development of their lives, as well as women workers. Women workers have the role of wives in the family, namely as companions of husbands and successors of offspring. While her role as a mother is to care, guide, and educate her children to grow up. The development and progress of the industry today where the involvement of women in the production sector is common which causes not a few women to enter the industrial sector. Women working in the industrial sector will be faced with two demanding roles, namely as housewives and as breadwinners. Most of those who work in the fishery company PT Delta Pacific Indotuna Bitung City are female workers. Women work as laborers because previously they were people who did not have a job and also mothers who only took care of the household without getting wages so that there was a desire from them (women) to work as laborers in the company because they saw people who worked in the company their economic life experienced changes / increases in meeting family needs. The utilization of the income they earn for various needs in the household and the needs of their children which indirectly they have helped ease the economic burden borne by the husband as the head of the household. As women who have a workload, of course, women must be able to divide time between family and work.
