Abstract

The objective of this study is to depict teacher competence in creating educational materials within the independent curriculum at primary schools. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach and utilizes both primary and secondary data sources. Data gathering methods consist of observations and interviews. The outcomes of the study of the research can be found that teacher competence in compiling learning tools in the independent curriculum can be described through five aspects, namely: 1) The teacher's knowledge aspect which discusses teaching ability and mastery of the material. 2) Aspects of teacher skills related to student interaction and involvement in preparing learning tools and their learning styles. 3) Attitude and behavioral aspects where the role of the teacher is crucial in establishing an effective and conducive learning atmosphere and is able to facilitate the student learning process. 4) The context aspect is associated with enhancing teacher professionalism and the use of technology as a learning support tool. 5) The evaluation aspect is related to developing student assessments and measuring understanding with rubric assessments.

Abstract

Kemampuan membuat koneksi matematika merupakan salah satu tujuan dari hasil belajar matematika dalam kurikulum merdeka, rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa menunjukkan bahwa ada kendala pembelajaran yang terjadi. Penataan ulang desain didaktik perlu dilakukan untuk mengungkap kendala pembelajaran yang dialami oleh siswa, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala pembelajaran yang terjadi terkait masalah koneksi matematika dan meminimalisir kendala pembelajaran yang diindikasikan dengan mengembangkan desain didaktik pendidikan matematika realistis pada materi fungsi kuadrat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif penelitian desain didakdik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa: tes diagnostik, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Gegesik pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan peserta kelas XI-D dan kelas X-GV. Desain didaktik dikembangkan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu analisis prospektif, analisis metapedadik dan analis restoratif. Dengan hasil sebagai berikut: 1). Hasil indikasi awal kendala pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kendala autogenik, epistemologis, dan didaktik yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. 2). Desain diaktik berdasarkan perolehan hasil indikatif hambatan pembelajaran, repersonalisasi dan rekontekstualisasi dengan mengacu pada teori situasi didaktik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the design needs of interactive e-LKM in general Indonesian Language courses. This study was motivated by the low writing skills of students because they were assisted by AI. The subjects of the study were lecturers and 200 students. The method used in this study was a mixed method. The research data were in the form of quantitative and qualitative data consisting of a questionnaire and interview sheets. The results of this study indicate good scientific article writing skills, a student will find it easier to work on final assignments or write other research results. From the concept analysis, it was found that the concept of existing teaching materials is in accordance with the needs of the curriculum, but is not specific so it is necessary to develop specific e-LKM to improve students' writing skills.

Abstract

This research aims to produce Minecraft learning media that can support students' TPACK skills. This research was conducted in the Learning class at State University of Malang with a total of 97 students from various majors, namely guidance and counseling, chemistry, PGPAUD (Early Childhood Education Teacher Education), special education, art and design, and educational technology with the number of classifications based on gender, namely 79 female students and 19 male students. The model used in this research is the development model according to Lee & Owens with the stages of assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using the highest average according to Sugiyono. The results showed that Minecraft Education media to support students' mastery of TPACK was declared feasible based on content experts, and media experts. The content expert validation score gets an average score of 5.00 while the media expert gets an average score of 4.75 so this media is declared feasible. This media also received good responses regarding whether there was an increase in how to integrate Minecraft Education technology in learning based on the questionnaire that had been distributed and received a score of 3.34 from the expected average value of 4.00.

Abstract

Pedagogical competence is one of the important competencies for teachers. XYZ University is one of the LPTK to ensure prospective teachers achieving pedagogical competence by organizing the Clinical Placement Practicum program. This research is an evaluation study using the Context Input Process Product (CIPP) model. Data collection was through interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The data validity was through the process of source triangulation. Data analysis used the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The evaluation results: a) Context, it appears that the program's objectives align with the achievement of the faculty’s graduate profile, particularly in the aspect of competence, specifically in pedagogical competence; b) Input, the resources used have not fully supported the effectiveness of the PPK program implementation to support the pedagogical competence of students; c) Process, the DPL and Mentor Teachers have made efforts with various mentoring actions. However, the guidance provided needs to be further improved; d) Product, students are able to provide emotional support, listening and interacting skills, ability to group early childhood children according to developmental aspects, and consistently applying rules and procedures. However, students need to improve the ability to plan appropriate methods and teaching aids, provide scaffolding, reinforce the child's potential, maintain a reflective and evaluative attitude personally, and use appropriate methods and teaching aids.

Abstract

This study aims to prove whether there is a relationship between understanding of Unity in Diversity and global diversity awareness of students in class X SMKN 3 Sukoharjo, with a correlational quantitative method. The variables are the understanding of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and global diversity awareness. The population is 500 students in class X SMKN 3 Sukoharjo with a sample of 70 students in class X Marketing A and X Automotive Engineering A. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Validity test with point biserial test and product moment test. Spearman Brown and Cronbach Alpha reliability tests. Normality test with liliefors test and linearity test with lack of fit test method. Hypothesis testing using pearson correlation product moment test and regression equation. The results of the study are Sig value. 0.000 and the value (r) 0.837, indicating that students who have a high understanding of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika have a high awareness of diversity. The results strengthen the Affective-Cognitive Consistency theory by Rosenberg.

Abstract

The lack of variation in learning models and media makes it difficult for students to focus, think critically, and feel motivated in science learning activities. This study aims to determine whether the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Qreatif application is effective in improving critical thinking skills and learning motivation among fourth-grade students in science lessons at SDN Panggungrejo, Pasuruan City. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and control group was used. Data were collected using a critical thinking skills test and a learning motivation questionnaire. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of < 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the PBL model supported by the Qreatif application was proven to be more effective than conventional models in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills and motivation in learning science.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) plays a crucial role in improving educational quality, with leadership being a key success factor. This study analyzes the relationship between leadership styles and the effectiveness of TQM implementation in five senior high schools in Tenggarong. Using a quantitative descriptive-correlational approach, data were collected through Likert-scale structured interviews with 5 school principals, 3 teachers, and 2 administrative staff. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between leadership style and the effectiveness of MMT implementation in improving the quality of education. Aims to clarify the core concepts underlying the analysis of the role of leadership in the implementation of Integrated Quality Management (IQM) in the school environment. This discussion includes leadership theory, quality management theory, and the relationship between the two in the world of education. In the context of education, leadership has a central role in forming an environment that supports the learning process and improving the quality of education. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly contributes to successful TQM implementation, particularly in enhancing teacher involvement, managerial effectiveness, and quality evaluation. In contrast, schools with bureaucratic leadership face greater challenges in adopting TQM policies. Key supporting factors include teacher participation and technology utilization, while major obstacles include limited resources and resistance to change.  In conclusion, innovative and participatory leadership is essential for effective TQM implementation. This study provides insights for developing more structured and sustainable educational quality management policies

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menganalisis tingkat kemampuan siswa melalui penerapan asesmen diagnostik kognitif pada mata pelajaran matematika. Matematika masih menjadi momok bagi sebagian besar siswa termasuk di SD Kanisius Duwet. Padahal matematika memiliki banyak kegunaan bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan lainnya. Oleh karena itu guru harus mampu merancang pembelajaran matematika yang menarik dan menyenangkan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa melalui hasil analisis tingkat kemampuan siswa pada asesmen diagnostik kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI A dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis perencanaan diperoleh data bahwa siswa kelas VI A SD Kanisius Duwet memiliki tingkat kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis diperoleh 20% siswa berada pada tingkat kemampuan tinggi 33,3% siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan sedang, dan 46,6% siswa yang berada pada tingkat kemampuan rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain baru model manajemen pendidikan dan pembelajaran mendalam guna mewujudkan pembelajaran yang asik, kritis, kreatif, dan bermakna di sekolah swasta, khususnya sekolah Kristen. Tantangan yang dihadapi sekolah swasta saat ini, antara lain rendahnya daya saing, lemahnya sistem manajerial dan supervisi akademik, serta keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital, menuntut adanya inovasi dalam pengelolaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengadaptasi model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) untuk mengembangkan sistem manajemen sekolah berbasis digital, serta model ASSURE untuk merancang proses pembelajaran yang kreatif, partisipatif, dan terintegrasi dengan teknologi. Proses penelitian diawali dengan studi pendahuluan melalui observasi dan FGD untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan masalah sekolah, yayasan, guru, siswa, serta orang tua. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, dikembangkanlah dua komponen utama: (1) sistem informasi manajemen interaktif dan ruang kolaboratif digital bagi orang tua dan masyarakat, dan (2) sistem pembelajaran dan ruang kreatif digital untuk guru dan siswa, Validasi ahli dan uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kepraktisan dan keberterimaan yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Kemunduran kualitas sekolah dipengaruhi oleh manajemen pengelolaan sekolah, kualitas SDM Kepala Sekolah dan Guru, kualitas Pembelajaran, dan branding dan penciri sekolah, 2) Ruang dan kesempatan kreatif dalam bentuk website interaktif dan e-learning berbasis 3CM learning memberikan fasilitas kepala sekolah melakukan manajemen sekolah khususnya manajemen pembelajaran, promosi dan branding sekolah melalui hasil kreatif guru dan siswa dari hasil pembelajaran, 3) Kreativitas dalam menghasilkan karya kreatif muncul dan tumbuh karena adanya kesempatan melakukan budaya kreatif dan ada ruang untuk mempublish karya kreatif, dan 4) Aktivitas pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan model pembelajaran 3CM learning memberikan kesempatan siswa mengalami pembelajaran mendalam dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir Tingkat tinggi (HOTS).
