Abstract

The research that will be carried out is aimed to know the use of inquiri method can improve student learning outcomes in IPS subjects in class IV SD Negeri 5 Ambon. This research is a qualitative research with type of classroom action research. The subjects of this study are the students of grade IV (four) SD Negeri 5 Ambon Nusaniwe Subdistrict, which amounted to 35 students. Data were collected with observation sheets. In the study of this class action is used qualitative description analysis, this analysis is calculated by using simple statistic. In the initial test students who score ≥ 65 as many as 57.14% of students, after the first cycle increased to 73.50% students. The average initial test score of 30.85% and after the first cycle increased to 71.14%. On the second cycle also increased the students who get the value of ≥ 65 as many as 81.76% of students. The average value of the end test of cycle II increased to 81.14%.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) To understand further the need for the implementation of counseling guidance in schools, 2) To find out the obstacles faced in the implementation of counseling guidance in schools, 3) Looking for solutions for the implementation of counseling guidance in schools in the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Benefits: 1) Provide real meaning to the school about the importance of counseling guidance in schools, 2) Overcoming the obstacles that arise in the implementation of counseling guidance in the implementation of curriculum 2013. This article was prepared using literature and interview methods. BK Implementation Solutions in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum: 1) Enlightenment about the role and role of BK to the school principal as the highest authority in the school in order to avoid BK dysfunction; 2) There is a need for continuous training of all BK teachers on how to implement BK in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum; 3) There is a need to study the theme relation and sub theme of BK material with related subjects so that although there is no time for BK material counseling but can be integrated in subject matter of certain subjects; 4) Guidance and Counseling Study Program as a teacher-producing institution BK needs to undertake a continuous assessment of the performance of BK teachers as alumni.

Abstract

Students' analytic thinking skills through counseling services are essential. This ability is needed to solve the problems they face. Accordingly, an eclective model or method of counseling used to improve analytical skills is necessary. Technique analogies in information services can be used to improve students' analytic skills. The purpose of this research is to improve the information service process by practicing students' analytic skills. The research design uses PTK where the lecturer collaborates in research at the school where the BK teacher feels the problem in the information service he provides and then collaborates with the lecturer to solve it. The subjects of the study were students of class XI IPS1 SMA Negeri 5 Ambon as many as 35 people. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle takes 4 meetings beyond the time used for pretest at the beginning of the first cycle, and 2 times the postes of analytic skill at once at the end of cycle I and again at the end of cycle II. This study uses a learning scenario as a guide for action implementation. The instruments used are service process observation sheets and inventory of analytic skills. The research produces qualitative and quantitative data analyzed by descriptive statistics and interpreted qualitatively. Research data is analyzed with three steps, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The results show that the use of analogy techniques can be used in information services to improve students' analytic skills. Improved analytic thinking skills can be seen from the presence of students with low analytic skills in pre-cycle I tests increased in number on post cyclical I tests, and increased again at the post test cycle II. Such improvements occur also in students with analytic thinking skills are increasing in number to students with high analytic thinking skills when heading the cycle I test, and Cycle II postes. Based on the research findings, it is suggested to counseling teachers to: (1) use analogous techniques in the information services they provide, (2) make creative thinking skills as the objective of learning accompaniment.

Abstract

Teachers will have a good performance if the teacher in carrying out his profession as well as possible in accordance with the principles of professional teachers and supported by the compensation and culture of a good school organization as well. This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational culture and compensation with teacher performance. Methods Survey research with correlational approach. The population in this study is the teacher of State Senior High School 2 Ambon as many as 93 people. The sample was determined using random sampling technique. The number of sample research as many as 50 people and test samples of 40 people. Hypothesis testing shows that 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and performance. It is shown by the value of correlation coefficient (r) equal to (0,641) and tcount 2,645 bigger than ttable (2,011), 2) there is positive and significant correlation between compensation with teacher performance. The correlation coefficient (r) obtained is 0.527 and the tcount (4.923) is greater than the ttable (2.011); 3) there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and compensation with teacher performance, the value of the multiple correlation coefficient (R) 6,070) and the value of Fhitung (19,151) is greater than Ftable (5,641). There is a coherent relationship between organizational culture and compensation with teacher performance.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is a behavior that many found among people in recent times. Many argue that bullying behaviors include behaviors that aim to intimidate others, discredit others, and even injure others. Different forms of bullying behaviors, some of which include bullying, threatening, mocking, calling offensive calls, and isolating or alienating others in a group. There are many impacts of bullying behavior, including individuals who become inferior, depressed, depressed, or even self-rebellious and revengeful. Such impacts will be harmful to others as well as to the individuals concerned. Therefore it is necessary to attempt to overcome the bullying behavior. One way that can be used is through the application of group guidance with sociodrama technique. Sociodrama is one of group guidance techniques. Through sociodrama, individuals will be invited to play a role to train their ability to deal with bullying behavior in accordance with the drama theme being played.

Abstract

Various social phenomena that continue to occur in the midst of our lives, is a side effect of modernization which is characterized by the development of science and technology. Modernization on one side is advantageous but on the other hand detrimental. The disadvantage is actually a blow or a threat to the sustainability of various traditions and cultures of the local community. Various efforts must continue to be blamed in order to strengthen the perspectives of society about the culture and tradition, the effort is also undermined in order to maintain the old paradigm that prioritizes togetherness, harmony, silahturahmi, help. Tanaile's customary ritual is an expression of the identity of the local community, amidst the continuing stretch of modernization. The expression of the identity of the local community is evident through the social and moral values of the Tanaile ritual tradition that must be preserved from generation to generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of group positive psychotherapy on life satisfaction in inmates in IIA Kediri class. Subjects were 20 inmates living in prisons of IIA class in Kediri. Subjects selected by using purposive sampling technique which has low scores on life satisfaction scales with an age range of 20-39 years. This experimental research design uses Quasi experimental Pre-test-post-test control group design. Data analysis used is Different Test or t-Test and the technique used is paried Sample t-test. Data collection using the scale of Life satisfaction measuring tool using Satisfaction With life Scale (SWLS). The results showed that there was a difference of life satisfaction score in experimental group and control group that was obtained in control group with t-count value (1,000) less than t-table value (2,262) or significance value (0,343) more than alpha (0,050). In the experimental group the value of t-count (9,949) was more than the t-table value (2,262) or the significance value (0,000) less than the alpha (0.050).

Abstract

The development of contemporary education leads to the model of inclusive education. Almost all developed countries have appreciated, treated and respected children with special needs more detailed and very human. In the United States, for example, inclusive education is growing very rapidly in the presence of various elements of mutual support. In addition, in Japan children with special needs and parents are given the freedom to choose the school according to the wishes of children with special needs. Schools that receive special needs children provide educational services according to their specificity. Inclusive education is now beginning to be developed in Indonesia, with various areas being supported by the goal of implementing inclusive education.

Abstract

Students in the process and learning activities should minimize the things that can interfere with the process of concentration of mind and attention in learning, whether the disturbance that comes from within and outside of students themselves. The silent meditation technique will affect the state of mind, and life. The state of mind also affects health in general, let alone be known that the students also range to stress due to lessons in school, resulting in low learning achievement. Therefore, students need a strong frame of mind and excellent health and a panacea to fight stress and that is a quiet meditation technique. The silent meditation technique will reduce stress accumulation, giving a positive effect on the state of mind and health in general.
