Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know the description of the student's interest in continuing education to college, to know the description of learning motivation of XII grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Wayaluba Morotai and to know the correlation of interest in continuing education with students’ learning motivation of SMA Negeri 3 Wayaluba Morotai. The population in this study is 200 students. Samples were taken by using proportional random sampling. The amount of sample was set as many as 20% of the population so that the retrieved sample is 40 students. The technique of data collection was questionnaire. Techniques of data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics analysis and correlation analysis using statistic correlation analysis in the form of parametric product moment. The results showed that the students’ interest in continuing education to college of SMA Negeri 3 Wayabula Morotai was in high category of student learning and motivation was also in high category. There was a significant positive relationship between the interest in continuing education and the study motivation of the XII grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Morotai Wayabula which were in the category of very strong based on the interpretation of the value of r, since the value of r count of 0.900 so be at intervals of 0800-1,000 or category of very strong.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to know (1) The description of foster care single parent households for students, (2) The image on students learning discipline, (3) The influence of foster care single parent households toward the students learning discipline. This study used quantitative approach with correlation design to examine the hypothesis of the influence of foster care single parent households toward the students learning discipline. There are 12 students as samples, live in single parent households or fostered by single parent. Sampling method used purposive sampling. Technique of collecting data used a closed questionnaire which was analyzed to examine the validity of its value and reliability. Verifying data of questionnaires used SPSS program Version 17,0, for windows. The results of this study showed that: (1) foster care of single parent households students is in good category, means that single parents are able to provide support or responsibility toward his son to form their characters, personalities, and to provide good values for children. (2) the level of learning discipline students is in high category, means that students have good attitude or behavior obeying the rules in school activities. (3) There is a positive influence between foster care single parent households toward the students learning discipline of SMP 1 Cina. It means that students whose parents gave good foster care will have good learning discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the application of Mind Mapping media in learning to improve interpersonal communication skills of students in the PGPAUD FKIP UNKHAIR study program. This research used the classroom action research. There are 30 people. The design of the research stage includes planning, action or implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis based on the result of observations and questionnaires. The result obtained are that the Mind Mapping technique can improve students’ interpersonal communication skills, this is shown by increasing interpersonal communication skills in each cycle The average value in the first cycle was 67.75% and the average value in the second cycle was 87.25%

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students' social interaction through group counseling with assertive training techniques at SMA Negeri 3 Morotai. The study method used quantitative research. The study used True Experimental Design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study was 165 students in grade XI of SMA Negeri 3 Morotai and identified as having low social interaction as many as 44 students. Withdrawal of samples by probability sample method. The sample of 22 students with reference to the maximum number in group counseling generally consisted of about 4 to 12 people. Data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires, observations, and student responses. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. Hypothetical testing used non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test (Z) analysis of pretests and posttests. The results showed that the level of social interaction of students at SMA Negeri 3 Morotai, from the pre-test results of both the experimental and control groups was in low category. Based on the results of the analysis through the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test (Z), there was a significant difference in average value after being treated in the experimental group, this was confirmed by the gain score in the experimental group of 64,727. In the control group there was no significant difference in average value, this was confirmed by the gain score in the control group of 13.63.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan wawasan siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan di perguruan tinggi melalui teknik two stay two stray dalam bimbingan kelompok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe quasi experiment menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design, pengolahan datanya dilakukan dengan metode statistik. Sampel sebanyak 40 siswa yang berasal dari kelas XII IPS1 sebanyak 20 siswa dan XII IPS2 sebanyak 20 siswa yang diambil menggunakan simple random sampling, kemudian dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket (kuesioner) dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis t-test atau uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara wawasan siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum (pretest) dan setelah (posttest) diberikan perlakuan teknik two stay two stray dalam bimbingan kelompok.

Abstract

Falahu Village is one of the villages in Sanana District, Sula Islands Regency which is the main target in PHP2D activities located in a very wide coastal area and has natural potential that can enable and support maritime-based learning processes. The aim of the maritime-based learning program is to help introduce teachers to PAUD units and the community in the Sula Islands Regency to the importance of maritime-based learning. By increasing Human Resources (HR) in the field of education and utilization of natural resources and providing knowledge to children through learning media and coastal APE. The implementation of activities is carried out in August-October 2021. The method of implementing Maritime-based learning program activities includes 3 stages, namely: Planning and preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The activity was carried out through socialization and seminars involving several teachers in the Sula Islands Regency area as well as involving villagers and the education office. Workhsop workshop activities aim to provide information, understanding, knowledge and skills to participants in the preparation of learning tools and maritime-based educational game tools. Participants in the Maritime-Based Learning Program are PAUD educators in the Coastal area of Sanana District. The results obtained during the activity were the support from the local government, especially the Education Office, the Falahu Village Head and the PAUD Heads in the Sanana sub-district. The success of this program can be obtained from the reflection results from filling out the questionnaire which shows that after participating in the activity participants can gain knowledge and experience in the preparation of learning tools, teacher interest in the application of maritime learning, as well as discovering new things in the manufacture of learning media and APE from potential natural.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola perilaku sosial anak dalam animasi Upin dan Ipin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif karena sumber datanya diperoleh dari dialog berupa percakapan Upin, Ipin dan kawan-kawan pada episode cerita kami bagian 1 season 5, indahnya syawal bagian 1-2 season 10, ikhlas dari hati bagian 1-2 season 5 dan untuk prestasi bagian 1-3 season 12. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan peneliti sendiri sebagai sumber kunci. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pola perilaku sosial anak pada setiap animasi Upin dan Ipin yaitu kerja sama, kemurahan hati, simpati, sikap ramah dan sikap tidak mementingkan diri sendiri. Animasi Upin dan Ipin dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkan pola perilaku sosial karena episode-episode tersebut mengandung perilaku yang baik untuk ditiru oleh anak-anak. Pengembangan pola perilaku sosial perlu didik sejak dini agar tidak menimbulkan kesulitan di kemudian hari.Kata kunci: Animasi Upin Ipin, Perilaku Sosial, AnakAbstract:  The research aims at describing the pattern of children social behavior in Upin and Ipin cartoons. This type of research is descriptive qualitative because the data source obtained from dialogue in the form of conversations by Upin, Ipin and friends in episode Our Story part 1 season 5, Beautiful of Syawal part 1-2 season 10,  A Sincere of Heart part 1-2 season 5and Need for Achievement spart 1-3 season 12. The instruments used to collect the data are observation, documentation and the researcher herself as the key instrument. The data analyzed qualitatively. The result indicated that there children social behavior pattern found in each of the upin and ipin cartoons, those are cooperation, kind heart, care, help for others and fairness. Upin and Ipin's cartoon can be used as a means of cultivating social behavior patterns because these episodes contain good behavior to be imitated by the children. The development of social behavior patterns needs to be educated since early age so that this does not cause any difficulties in the future.Key words: Upin Ipin Cartoon, Social Behavior, Children
