Abstract

The application of IoT (Internet of Things) technology is widely applied, one of which is in smart homes. This sector is the most popular sector because its approach is close to human lifestyle, but in its application there are many difficulties, one of which is the difficulty for users to configure and integrate on each device. The semantic approach applied in this research can simplify the process of introducing IoT devices so that it can produce the ability to define, change, and produce better data readings. Based on the research conducted, the system was built using 2 sensors used as input data, namely the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor, the PIR sensor (Passive Infra red) and an output in the form of a relay actuator that can give a value of 1 (High) or 0 (Low ). This research is completed with a process unit that is a smartphone application that has the features of relation control, monitoring, and erasing devices connected to every data connected in firebase. The test results obtained performance with a delay of 0.999985350 seconds for the process of sending data from device to application and has a 100% percentage of the success of the system that is applied to the research implementation of semantic computing in smart homes based on user commands using a smartphone.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has resulted in many people writing their opinions on social media as in the KASKUS forum. KASKUS is an online forum site that provides a place to find information and share hobbies. One is called Movies forum which contains discussions about a movie that has been watched. Users writes their opinion about a film whether the film is good or bad. These opinions can be analyzed to determine how the user feedback about the film in order to produce useful output for the filmmaker by perform sentiment analysis to classify opinions into positive or negative classes. The process of sentiment analysis was performed using methods Naive Bayes for classification and Lexicon Based Features to weight the sentiment value of a word. The process starts from text preprocessing, term weighting, Naive Bayes training, and Naive Bayes testing with Lexicon Based Features weighting using Barasa's lexicon. Based on the results of tests performed, using Naive Bayes and Lexicon Features Based method, the values of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure were 0.8, 0.8, 0.8 and 0.8. While using the Naive Bayes method without Lexicon Based Features, the values of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure are 0.95, 1, 0.9 and 0.9474. So, the use of Naive Bayes and Lexicon Based Features methods still cannot provide better results.

Abstract

In a software house, project managers took an important role in managing and making software. The project manager for each project is given to different people. But it is also possible for someone to act as a project manager on more than 1 project at the same time. For how to report from each worker to the project manager also varies. There are those who hold meetings once a week, or on weekdays before going home, or the project manager must ask to each member. So, the project manager cannot monitor every progress of the latest workmanship of the team members at all times and also cannot directly assign assignments to the team members as well as team members cannot know the tasks that must be done if the previous task has been completed. To solve the problem, the author developed a multi-project management application that can manage work activities carried out, and monitor the progress of the project. The application applies the Scrum method, in which there is an iteration for the process of working on the project. In developing the application the author uses the waterfall model. Based on the testing performed, unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing produced a valid value in the test case that has been done. In compatibility testing shows that the application can run optimal on 9 of the 11 browser versions tested.

Abstract

PT. Arta Elektronik Indonesia is a company or startup that is engaged in developing Fintech applications or financial technology with the application name EzyPay. EzyPay also needs an update in terms of the interface that is considered to be less than optimal in supporting the existence of a new business process. Based on the case studies of the above problems, the authors provide a solution by designing the user interface and developing the latest version of EzyPay application with clean and modern interface with new main features that is EzyPay balance. So that with the new interface, people can make payments and purchases easily through EzyPay. Designing the user interface uses the Design Sprint method until the hi-fidelity prototyping stage and do five phase that is understand, define, sketch, decide, prototype, and validate. Testing in this study uses Usability Testing with task scenarios and questionnaires to achieve the parameters of the effectiveness, efficiency, and System Usability Scale (SUS) aspects to achieve parameter satisfaction. From the results of Usability Testing with these parameters, the acceptance value is 92.5%, which means the system can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

One of the objectives of the PDAM Surya Sembada mobile application is to facilitating public in accessing PDAM Surabaya services. However, in reality there are still many users who complained about the ease when accessing various service features in the application. From the findings in PlayStore, it founds any reviews about the navigation of application was not good, and users cant get any successes notifications when the they took an action, which caused the difficulties and confused. These difficulties affect the usability of the application. Testing the usability of an user interface is important to do. The goal is to finding problems taht related to usability, and to measure the extent of the ease of application. There are two stages for testing the usability of PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya user interface . The first stage aims to digging the usability problems and the solutions which to be used as material for design improvement recommendations. The second stage aims to assess the level of usability of the user interface after making improvements, so the results can be compared with the previous value. After doing the improvements, the usability value of the application interface for Low Digital Skills respondents increased to 64.7825% from the previous value of 20.095%. Meanwhile, for Tech Savvy respondents the usability value also increased to 64.7825% from the previous value of 29.2925%.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sidoarjo Government has public service function, one of which is public complaints services. This public complain service is managed by an agency called the Public Complaints and Service Center (P3M) which is located at the Communication and Information Office of Sidoarjo Regency. Public complaints services can be done through several media such as through social media and the P3M application website. From the media, public complaints services can be done but have problems regarding user accessibility and interest in P3M applications. In addition, some additional features are needed for the P3M application. Based on the problem, it is necessary to develop a public complaints service application website that can solve the problem. Development is carried out by providing business process modeling, requirement analysis, designing and implementing community complaint service systems by implementing an object oriented approach. Then the system is tested to find out which systems or applications that have been developed in this study can run according to identified requirement. Application development is done by using the waterfall model method and using the Laravel php framework and testing using the validation, responsivity, and compatibility testing method. The results of the study indicate that the system can run well in accordance with expectations and is able to facilitate public complaints services.

Abstract

Tourism is the drivers of the economy in various countries in the world. In Indonesia, there are several cities or regions that have developed the potential of tourist areas such as Malang. In 2016, the number of domestic tourists visiting Malang reached 5 million visits, an increase than the previous year which is just 3 million visits. One of the facilities needed by tourists when traveling is lodging at affordable prices such as homestay. Therefore, we need a means of information that can be used by the homestay manager to provide information that is relatively fast for tourists. The porpose of this research is develop an information system for booking homestays in South Malang, especially the Bajulmati village. This research is using Rapid Application Development (RAD) method for system development. Based on the results of the requirements analysis, there were 1 non-functional system requirements and 32 functional requirement. System design and implementation is the next step. System implementation is using the CodeIgniter framework. There several of tests performed, namely compatibility test, integration, unit, and validaton. From validation testing, integration, and unit shows 100% valid. Compatibility testing shown that system can be run in 9 from 12 kind of browser without any functionality problem. Meanwhile, the other browser like internet explorer and safari had a problem in CSS tag that can't be shown.

Abstract

PT. Garam (Persero) is a company that operates as a production agent for the construction of Salt and is approved by the National Salt in Indonesia, and is always working to realize food in the salt field. So, to help the business process activities carried out by PT. Garam (Persero) applies ERP system services. In implementing ERP system services, there are obstacles such as incidents and problems that affect PT. Garam (Persero). With the constraints that occur it is necessary to evaluate information technology using the COBIT 5 framework for this research and the chosen DSS (Delivery, Service and Support) subdomain focus is DSS02: Manage Service Requests and Incidents, DSS03: Manage Problems and DSS04: Manage Continuity. The study was conducted aiming to determine the current capability level and GAP. The results showed the capability level obtained from the subdomain process DSS02, DSS03, and DSS04 was 1 and in all subdomain processes the GAP value was 1. In order for the company to reach the desired target level, recommendations were given for completing the documentation of the work product output document, making procedures more detailed and detailed information regarding handling requests and problem incidents.

Abstract

Event is an activity which held for a public meeting or inviting many people for celebration, education, and marketing. Kingdom Generation Community (KGC) Malang is a youth people church under the authority of the Indonesian Bethel Church (GBI) Representative of Christ Kingdom (ROCK). KGC Malang has a purpose to reaching out and develop youth people to be a positive impact on their environment. To achieve this goal, KCG Malang has many events. However, in the execution of the event, KGC Malang has many problems, such as the absence report, there is no recording process for each member growth. Eventually, hard for the leader make the right decisions for an event, placing a member to the right position because there is no data record. Base on these problems has created an application to manage many activities of KGC Malang from planning until reporting or evaluating, and make a centralized member data collection system than can be accessed by leaders. This study is using SDLC Waterfall. The research is started with an interview and engineering needs. This phase produces 33 functional requirements and one non-functional requirement with 4 actors. Sequence diagram, class diagram, user interface design, and database design is the result of the design phase as a foundation for the implementation phase. This application development uses HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP with frameworks Laravel and VueJS. The system tested using unit testing which tests 3 primary functions of system and 3 test case with result 100% valid, validation testing to test 33 functional requirement and 33 test case with result 100% valid, and compatibility testing to test the non-functional requirement and the result there is no significant issues which impacted for functionality of application.

Abstract

The library which is located at SMK Negeri 11 Malang based on the observation results is still manual in providing services to library visitors who borrow books by writing a note book. Therefore a study entitled "Development of Web-Based Library Information Systems Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method (Study at: SMK Negeri 11 Malang)". The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is a method used by researchers to build a web-based library information system. Understanding Rapid Application Development (RAD) according to (Pressman, 2001) is a model of the development cycle emphasized briefly in the development of additional software, although the development process is short, does not reduce the quality of the product. The results of the development of library information systems can facilitate the admin in managing library data at any time and make it easier for users to borrow books in the library with the results of black box testing as much as 100% valid. And the results of the user acceptance test or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted on 5 examiners consisting of the chairman of the library, library staff, 1 teacher, 1 staff and 1 student have the results of 84% of users agree that the School Library Information System (SIPS) Malang has fulfilled the needs of users in borrowing books in the library of SMK 11 Malang.
