Abstract

People with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) are individuals, groups, and/or communities who due to an obstacle, difficulty, or disturbance, cannot carry out their social functions, so that their physical, spiritual, and social life needs cannot be fulfilled adequately and reasonably. In Malang, PMKS are handled by social service of Malang. Social service of Malang conducting raids to capture the PMKS and later placed into assessment camp. In assessment camp, social workers collect data on personal and health information from PMKS. PMKS is treated for several days or even weeks depending on physical and mental condition. In their handling, social service of Malang find several problems such as the data collection process and monitoring PMKS that were still done manually so the file was easily lost and difficult to recapitulate. Therefore, a web-based monitoring system was created to collect PMKS data and monitoring at the assessment camp. The development of the system uses the waterfall method because the requirements defined are clear. This research produces four actors, 47 functional requirements, and one non-functional requirement. The software testing uses some strategies, such a unit testing, integration testing, validation testing with 100% valid results. The results of compatibility testing indicate that the system runs in specified browser and device.

Abstract

The problems happen in a restaurant for serving customers are too diverse. Many of restaurants in Malang are still just giving the menu list manually to the customers, that the restaurant should print the updated menu. Besides, ordering in a restaurant is still just using paper, that the customers should write the menu manually to order, and give it back to the restaurant waiters. The impact is that it can take too much time and costs more energy to the waiter as well as handling the restaurant menu ordering, even if there are so many customers should be served. Based on those problems, the writer wants to make an application that can handle restaurant food ordering queue management, hopefully this application could automate queue system in a restaurant. This application is built with following Agile methodology implementing Scrum framework, because the requirements are still developing within the application development. The result of this research was focused to solve the problems as well as simplify the queue management process and menu ordering in a restaurant. The researcher would also test the system with validation and usability test. The usability test was done for determining the usability level as the customers view point. For the result, validation testing states that the validations for every sprint is valid and usability testing states that the usability value for customers application got 82,25% score belonging in an B category with adjective rating excellent, whereas the application for restaurant operator got 96.25% belonging as an A category with adjective rating best imaginable.

Abstract

Malang has so many tourist attractions that could be visited each day, starting from nature tourism, education tourism, arts and culture, and many more. One of the tourist attractions that is interesting to be visited by the tourists is its shopping tourism. Malang has variety of shopping places that makes it so difficult for the tourists to choose one. It is proven by 43 respondents are claiming that each member of the group has their own preferences to choose a shopping place. This shopping recommendation system was developed on Android-based mobile devices because it has enough features, viz. Global Positioning System (GPS) and Google Maps. The algorithm used to get the group recommendation is TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method, which is used to get alternative ranking based on user's preferences and BORDA to get group voting. This system is tested with 3 different testings, viz. Black Box testing, algorithm validity testing and usability testing. The results of Black Box testing shows that the functionality of the system is 100% valid. The algorithm validity testing was done by comparing the results from the system and the manual calcultaion. The results of this testing shows that the algorithm used in the system is valid. The last testing for the system is the usability testing. It was done to know the user's perception of the system. The final result of this testing shows that the system is acceptable with the total average 77, grade C and categorized as good..

Abstract

Smartlink is a web-based and android application that manage laundry business management, starting from keeping records of consumer orders, managing employees, and managing the company finances. The application is divided into three parts: Smartlink Bos for business owners, Smartlink Kasir for cashiers, and Smartlink Produksi for production section employees. Business owners can use Smartlink Bos to manage their business configurations. Smartlink Bos is web-based application, and the majority of users are accessing via smartphones. Based on interviews and observations, there are problems with the flow of service data settings and quite complicated data items. Users find it difficult because the data settings are separated in another page. Evaluation with usability testing is carried out to investigate how a user interacts when using the feature via smartphone. The results of 5 participants who each worked 4 scenario tasks, obtained the value of the efficiency component of 0.22 goals/sec, component error of 9.5% per task, satisfaction component using PSSUQ with an overall value of 4.0. Interviews were also conducted with participants which resulted that they experienced 10 problems in total. Thus it can be concluded that in terms of satisfaction and interviews, the 'Smartlink Bos' application is still unsatisfactory.

Abstract

The relocation of Indonesia capital city is one of the policies that is being intensively discussed at this time. With the policy regarding the relocation of the capital city from Jakarta to Kalimantan, it will certainly cause various reactions or comments from the community that can be found on social media, Twitter. Types of reactions can be divided into positive and negative comments. To find out a comment has a positive or negative value, sentiment analysis is needed as in this study. In this study, there are several steps that must be done to get the final results. These stages are pre-processing data, term weighting and ranking with the BM25 algorithm, and classifying the final results of tweets with Neighbor Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor (NWKNN) algorithm. This study uses 480 training data and 120 test data divided into positive and negative sentiments. The highest accuracy value obtained was 93.33% with a precision value of 92.45%, a recall of 94.67% and an f-measure of 93.55% with a K value of 25, =1,2 and =0,65 also an E value of 4.

Abstract

Bank BRI is one of the banks that have provided digital services for their customers. BRI management realizes that if they do not actively innovate, they will be displaced by banks that are more advanced in their technological development, given the current needs of the community. This study aims to identify changes in user experience by evaluating long-term user experience using the UX Curve method. In the data collection stage, the UX Curve is divided into 5 points of view, namely general UX, degree of use, utility, ease of use, and attractiveness and produce 100 curves. Based on the 100 curves obtained, the resulting improving curves amounted to 44 curves, the resulting deteriorating curves amounted to 39 curves and the resulting stable curves totaled 17 curves. The reasons for changing user experience on the BRI Mobile Banking application were as many as 514 reasons for changing the application with an average of 29.6 (14.55 positive and 11.15 negative N = 20). The reasons most frequently cited by respondents are reasons that fall into the usability aspect of 177 with an average of 8.85 (5.35 positive and 3.5 negative, N = 20). Meanwhile, the category with the least reason is the motivational category with an average of 2.1 (1.35 positive and 0.75 negatives, N = 20). Based on aspects of this reasoning it can be concluded that the aspect that most influences the change in the user experience of BRI Mobile Banking applications is the usability aspect.

Abstract

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a network architecture that separates the control plane from the data plane. SDN network architecture divides incoming requests to be given to a server. SDN uses OpenFlow version 1.3 as a protocol and load balancing to distribute the load on two or even more balanced network connections. Load balancing has an algorithm that is use to distribute requests to each server. There were several algorithms that have been used before, one of them is the least traffic algorithm. This research uses the Source IP Hash algorithm, and Ryu as the controller that functions to allocate the server by doing a hash on the source IP address. This algorithm is tested and analyzed its performance on, response time, throughput, and packet loss. The throughput value of the source IP hash algorithm reaches 206 mbps while the least traffic algorithm is 106 mbps. Packet Loss that occured in the source IP hash algorithm is 0% while the least traffic algorithm experienced packet loss with the category high as much as 4.009%. From the two results of throughput and packet loss tested, it is concluded that the source IP hash algorithm handles requests from clients better than least traffic. The Source IP Hash algorithm could allocated the same source IP address to the same server, while the least traffic algorithm must selected the server by making a loop based on low traffic.

Abstract

Telkom Indonesia is a company that utilizes technology to manage leave. But on the implementation, there are still several obstacles to that leave management. One of them is when the employee wants to apply for leave but the head is not in place, leave approval cannot be given. Another obstacle is the process of leave submission cannot be monitored. Therefore, the redesign process is needed for desktop and mobile-based applications so the leave management process can be easier. The redesign process must be considered user experience therefore the application can long-lasting to be used by the user. This redesign process is used the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. HCD involves a human, perspective, in this case the users and stakeholders, in the whole process of developing solutions, which consist of several phases. The phase of specifying the context of use and the user requirements is carried out by interviewing Telkom Indonesia stakeholders and also observing pre-existing applications. From this process, the information obtained is there will be three users in the application, that is employee, admin, and approver, which each of them has different characteristics and tasks. The produced design solution phase is generated wireframe, screenflow, and high-fidelity prototype which is the final result of the application interface display later. The phase of evaluating the design carried out using the heuristic evaluation method by three evaluators. Total of nineteen problems found in the design solutions. From all the problems, there are five problems that are priorities for improvement. However, improvements were also made to other problems so as to leave as many as zero problems.

Abstract

Malang has the potential for beach tourism which can be one of the factors that can improve its own development and power. Previously, there was a recommendation system in determining beach tourism destinations but only limited to the use of 1 user. Therefore, a recommendation application development using the Group Decision Support System (GDSS) approach can be developed which can be used to help tourists who come in groups to determine their tourist destinations. The TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method is implemented to determine alternative tourism destination choices and Borda is used for group voting to determine group recommendations. Application development is done on an android basis using Location Based Service (LBS) so that it can adjust to the user's location to determine recommendations. This study discusses the analysis of user needs, design of system, design of algorithm, implementation of the system, test and evaluation of system. From the blackbox test we get a valid result where all functions can work well. In algorithm testing, the recommendations displayed by the system are the same as for manual calculations. Usability testing produces an average value of 75 of 5 respondents who were measured using the SUS method, so it's known that the system that built can be properly used by users.

Abstract

Agency of Telecommunications and Information Accessibility (BAKTI) is an institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics which functions to manage the financing and provision of telecommunications in Indonesia. BAKTI has a major work program to build telecommunications infrastructure in Indonesia, especially in the 3T regions (outermost, outermost, and disadvantaged). One of BAKTI's main work programs is the Palapa Ring Project (PARING). In implementing the PARING project, problems that are often found are miscommunication between stakeholders involved, there is no standard business process flow and only uses a command system, in addition to other problems that can be found when conducting analysis and evaluation of existing business processes. Therefore an analysis is needed in evaluating and improving business processes to find problems and maximize running business processes. In this research business process modeling is carried out with Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN), then an evaluation of activities in the business process is carried out using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and recommendations are made to improve business processes using Business Process Improvement (BPI) using tools streamlining. Then the simulation is done and the duration of business process completion is slower than as-is business process up to 4.5% in the Open Tender process, and the duration of business process completion is faster than as-is business process up to 0.88% in the Development process Telecommunications PARING and 1,058% in the Restoration-Maintenance process
