Abstract

Eling is an LMS that contains information on the implementation of learning activities at Filkom. Google Classroom is a Learning Management System (LMS) service product that aims to simplify and organize the learning process, assess assignments and improve communication without having to meet face-to-face. Currently, Filkom UB uses two LMS, namely Google Classroom and Eling for online learning. So far, it is not known what the student's perspective is when using the LMS Google Classroom and Eling. Therefore, the researcher wants to evaluate the user experience from the student's perspective on these two LMS. If the student's perspective is known, it is hoped that the problems encountered by student users with each LMS and the needs of users will be known, which will later provide benefits for improvements to LMS services. The researcher also intends to find out and compare how good the user experience is felt by LMS users. This LMS user experience test uses usability testing. Usability testing is used to identify problems and determine user responses to show how effective and efficient the LMS is to help users achieve their goals. The results of the interviews obtained problems, needs and preferences of respondents in each LMS. The results of testing the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction can be seen that Google Classroom gets a higher rating on all scenario testing and the results of the SUS questionnaire.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp is a shrimp in the tiger prawn pond culture favored by the Indonesian people because it has an economical price and has the expected prospects and benefits. The cultivation of vaname shrimp is quite tricky compared to tiger prawns. Vannamei shrimp is vulnerable to diseases such as White Faces Syndrome (WFS) and White Spot Syndrome (WSS) which results in death and a decrease in the amount of production produced. The decrease in production results is also caused by poor air quality management such as poor air circulation, irregular ponds, and providing excessive feed which causes poor air quality. Therefore, an algorithm is needed that can predict the production of vannamei shrimp based on the quality of the water used so that cultivators can take preventive actions against problems that occur. In this study, prediction is carried out into several processes, namely, pre-processing, data normalization, prediction, and calculation of the error value. In the prediction process, the algorithm used is Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) a combination of Gradient Descent (GD) with Apache Spark and in the process of calculating the error value using the Root Means Square Error (RMSE) method. The results of this study are based on the testing process using water quality data for 1 harvest of ponds owned by FPIK UB partners in. Lamongan which consists of 18 parameters in 4 different pools, the RMSE value is 210,634 and the Adjusted R-Squared value is 0.8341 with a training and testing data percentage of 70%:30%, the number of features is 18, the alpha value is 0.33, the error value is 0. .01 and the number of nodes is 6.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important needs for human civilization, especially for children and teenagers. The current pandemic condition is forcing education to use online learning alternatives. Codemaniac is one of the e-learning which is builded using gamification techniques to increase student motivation. However, Codemaniac does not yet have adaptive features that can maximize the behavior of each user. To overcome this problem, further development of Codemaniac will add adaptive features by utilizing the recorded user behavior contained in the log file. Based on the recorded user behavior, clustering will be carried out using the fuzzy c-means algorithm so that three types of clusters will be formed, each cluster will present a different user interface. This system is compiled using SDLC waterfall with the addition of the Python programming language. In its development, it produces 3 actors, with an additional 5 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. To test the system, the wthite box method is used for unit testing and the black box method is used for validation testing.

Abstract

At the time the Covid-19 pandemic had made many changes and the impact of this pandemic was initially a face-to-face learning system in the classroom and then distance learning was implemented. The distance learning procedure used by Brawijaya University is with two teaching models between lecturers and students based on the time of the learning process, namely synchronous and asynchronous. The purpose of this study is to find out the experiences during the distance learning process by students with visual impairments and problems that can be solved or assisted by applications in the learning process. The data collection experience analysis using a semi-structured interview method. The respondents studied were 3 students with disabilities with visual impairments (blindness) adjusting the availability of respondents who were willing to conduct interviews related to research. Aspects of College Student Characteristic, Instructor Characteristic, Learning Environment, Information Technology, Knowledge Technology, and Support as well as problems encountered related to Technology and Assistance were analyzed. Then the data is processed using the Atlas.ti application by means of thematic coding analysis. The results of the analysis that are known are descriptive explanations of the conditions experienced by students then accessibility to documents has not been evenly distributed, the inability and limitations of applications in carrying out an order thus require a companion under certain conditions.

Abstract

Senjani Kitchen is a start-up company engaged in food in the city of Malang. Daily Catering Senjani Kitchen uses a coupon system, so customers must buy coupons and exchange the coupons for food according to a schedule. The current condition is that orders are still through the Whatsapp chat application using a smartphone, so customers are too dependent on admin replies. This study aims to develop an information system that aims to make it easier for customers to order food and better record keeping to minimize company losses. Progressive Web App is an application built by optimizing a website, PWA is used so that customers get a more comfortable experience. This development using the waterfall method as a system development life cycle (SDLC). The requirements definition stage produces 2 main business processes, 2 actors, namely customers and admins, and 18 use cases described in use case diagrams and use case specifications. At the system design stage, 18 activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, and 26 interface designs were produced. At the implementation stage using the concept of Model View Controller (MVC), React Js as View, and CodeIgniter as Controller and Model. In the testing phase, in the validation test 31 test scenarios run as expected and the usability value is 82.75 (adjective rating excellent) for the customer side and 72.5 (adjective rating good) for the admin side through the usability scale system

Abstract

The implementation of health services in a hospital has a very complex organization and organization. Currently, many hospitals, clinics, health centers, and doctors' practices have used information systems to facilitate data management and improve the quality of service to patients. However Dr. Hospital Iskak Tulungagung still faces difficulties in patient registration and searching for medical records. One patient takes 5-15 minutes to complete the registration process, including monitoring patient medical records or creating medical record documents for patients who are first seeking treatment. Seeing these problems, the authors developed an online registration system and electronic medical records, so as to reduce patient queues at registration and maximum patient care. This system will apply the waterfall model for its development process. This model takes a systematic and sequential approach. The test was carried out using a test unit with the whitebox testing method on 3 functions, namely data input, physical examination, changing profiles, adding to the drug list. Of the three test units that have been carried out, it can be declared that they have passed the unit test. The validation results in a valid value in each test case against the 84 tested cases based on 46 functionality, therefore the system is declared to have passed the validation test. In the compatibility test using SortSite resulted in a web that is able to run well on 9 out of 11 browser versions. On the usefulness, the total answers to each of the 10 questions were tested to 20 respondents. The results of the reusability test of this system obtained an average score of 80.4 which is included in the above average classification.

Abstract

Bus is one type of land transportation in Indonesia that can be enjoyed by all people. One of these types of buses has received great attention in the world's transportation mode around the world, namely BRT. In real conditions, Transjakarta uses GPS and sends it to the control center continuously. Therefore, the author implements the concept of moving block in the scope of the BRT transportation mode so that the bus can exchange information about the location of the bus at that time and send it to the control center then the center will give further orders what to do by the bus driver. The result of this research is that the concept of moving block signaling can be implemented on a small scale using a communication protocol with a delay of 0.12 - 0.18 seconds for sending and receiving information data from each system connected to the 802.11 network and the same access point. The results of this value can be a benchmark for developing this research in the future.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology also affects the world of education. Educational institutions have an important role in shaping the character of students and making students not blind to technology that is developing very rapidly. However, during this pandemic, educational institutions must stop the face-to-face learning process to stop the spread of this virus. Educational institutions must change the conventional learning system to become modern because it does not require a face-to-face process between teachers and students or what is commonly referred to as blended learning. PT. Lambda Solusi Informatika is a software house and wants to create a system to help solve this online learning process problem. The features in this system are adding courses, adding classes, adding instructors, applying courses, completing modules, completing tasks, and taking quizzes. This information system was developed using the waterfall method. In the need analysis stage, there were 73 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements. At the system implementation stage, the database used is MongoDB, and for the interface the author uses ReactJS. In system testing, a verification process for functional requirements is carried out using the white box method and the validation process for functional requirements using the black box equivalence partitioning method and manually testing non-functional requirements. With the construction of this system, it is hoped that it can simplify the learning process and be able to solve existing problems and hopefully it will be useful for users who will use this system.

Abstract

Arta Barber and Chill has been in the barbershop world since 2010. Arta Barber and Chill provides deep shaving needs without waiting in line, but still being able to experience the quality of a premium barbershop, then equipped with health protocols that have been made through discussions with doctors to avoid the spread of the virus. In interviews with several relevant users in order to obtain information, problems were found on the Arta Barber and Chill website, such as the absence of a barber selection that matches the user's wishes and the need for a login feature so that customer data can be stored. Based on the problems found, tree testing was carried out on the initial evaluation of the website. Aspects that are measured during tree testing are success rate, directness, time spent, first click, and destination. After performing tree testing, the closed card sorting method is used in making design solutions so that the flow and navigation of the website is in accordance with user expectations, with the final result of the sitemap and in accordance with usability guidelines. The final results obtained in this study are recommendations for flow and website navigation and an increase in the value of user satisfaction. Then, the conclusions obtained from this study stated that there was a very significant increase in the value of user satisfaction.

Abstract

Data management at the Nurul Islam Islamic Boarding School includes violations students, permits, and also the progress of the takhossus science of students. This data management process is still uses manually by recording it on paper. This of course has the risk of losing data which of course can hinder the boarding school and parents in monitoring students. To overcome these problems, a web-based application was built to make it easier for Islamic boarding schools to manage data and also parents in monitoring the progress of their sons and daughters. This application is built on a web platform using the waterfall method. Obtained 5 actors, 50 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement in the elicitation of requirements to build this application. In the design results, there are 4 designs, namely sequence diagram design, class diagram design, component design and interface design. The results of this design are then used as a reference for implementing this application which results in the implementation of program code, database implementation and interface implementation. This application was tested using 3 tests, namely unit testing, integration testing and validation testing which resulted in 100% valid. In addition, the application is tested using compatibility testing which shows that the application can be used properly using the multiple browsers tested.
