Abstract

Carrying out the function as an Indonesian citizen, several population documents must be owned by the citizen. Submission of population documents can be fixed by going directly to the local Population and Civil Registration Office. However, the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced people to reduce their activities outside their homes. During the commemoration of the 107th anniversary of Malang City, the SIAPEL (Electronic Service Application Information System) website was launched, which can be used by the people of Malang City to submit several population documents. The Mayor of Malang wants a mobile-based SIAPEL to make it faster and easier to access. This research is expected to provide a mobile-based SIAPEL application user experience design so that Malang City residents feel comfortable and easy in submitting several population files digitally. This research method uses Human-Centered Design because it focuses on humans (users and service providers), so it is hoped that the solution design results can be by user needs. At the testing phase, usability testing was carried out on 5 participants result in the effectiveness aspect value of 100%, the efficiency aspect with the overall relative efficiency of 100%, the efficiency aspect with time-based efficiency of 0.093 goals/sec, and the satisfaction aspect with an average SEQ score of more than equal to 6.2. While the results of user experience testing were carried out on 20 participants using the User Experience Questionnaire on aspects of attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty assessment are all included in the Excellent category.

Abstract

The Malang City Goverment through the Malang City Communication and Information Office as the manager of public communication, utilizes information technology by creating a technology based public complaint service called, Sambat Online. This service allows the public to submit complaints about facilities and infrastructure in the city of Malang. However there are still problems that are owned namely, management carried out by related parties with less attention to document documentation activities regarding the requirement of defining needs and requirements for making service solutions. Therefore, information technology evalution activities are carried out using the COBIT 5 framework and focus on the BAI (Build, Acquire and Implementation) subdomain process, the selected processes were BAI02 (manage requirements definition) and BAI03 (manage solutions identification and build). The research was implemmented to set the value of the capability level also value of the GAP that occurred. The result show that the capability level value of the BAI02 and BAI03 subdomains is level 0 and there is a GAP value based on the targer level is 2. In order for the Malang City Communication and Information Agency to achive the expected target level, recommendations are given to complete documentation of base practice documents and work product according to process BAI02 and BAI03 subdomains, and create more detailed and detailed procedures related to the definition of service requirements.

Abstract

The ability to avoid obstacles is a subsystem of the navigation system that must be owned by an autonomous robot such as the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). This ability governs the process of observing environmental data, making decisions and commands to control movement. Implementation of the avoiding obstacles with conventional methods tends to be static and unable to adapt. Therefore, Implementing this with an artificial intelligence (AI)-based systems will enhance the adaptivity. Reinforcement Learning (RL) is one of the AI or Machine Learning methods that has a characteristic in terms of direct learning in the environment. This study proposes an RL simulation analysis using the Dueling Double Deep Q-Learning (D3QN) method on the UAV to avoid obstacles. The simulation is run on the Airsim simulator and the UAV is a quadcopter. The perceptual configuration of the quadcopter is using a monocular camera, ultrasonic sensor and collision sensor. This study examines the comparative analysis of thresholds of 1 meter and 2 meters, batch sizes 32 and 128. The test results show that the thresholds of 2 meters and batch size 128 provide a more stable visualization plot and converge in less than 70 episode.

Abstract

The Batu City Education Office website is a website that provides a means of publishing and providing information and general descriptions regarding the Batu City Education Office. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Portals and Websites of Government Agencies in Chapter X Monitoring and Evaluation Article 19 Paragraph (3) states "The implementation of monitoring and evaluation is carried out 1 time in 1 year or carried out at any time if needed". And also in the interview process mentioned that the website has never been evaluated. With opportunities based on local regulations, this research took place, for the user interface on the Batu City Education Office website. Because the Department of Education also feels that the appearance and some functions are considered less than satisfactory. In conducting the evaluation process on the website, using the heuristic evaluation method. In the evaluation process, it involves an expert user interface, which has a function in helping and assessing how the website can have a good design according to the heuristic evaluation rules. Before evaluating the need to discuss the problem by interviewing the relevant parties. Furthermore, an evaluation was carried out with the findings of usability problems, namely there were two problems found by the third evaluator. In the evaluation process the evaluator also has an assessment of the Batu City Education Office website with the highest average score of 3.6 for H-6 (Recognition rathen than recall) and the lowest is H-4 (Consistency and standards) with the acquisition of an average value. average 2.45. These findings are improved by making recommendations for improvement by applying the material design by google guidelines. recommendations based on the assessment are tested using a heuristic evaluation involving the same three evaluators in the evaluation process. Tests carried out to obtain these results are by reducing the severity value for each existing problem.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a technology concept that uses a number of nodes that have processing capabilities to achieve or complete certain tasks. In general, wireless sensor network architecture requires an embedded system or embedded sensor that is able to connect to the network and communicate through the cloud server. One of the devices commonly used in the WSN architecture is the NRF24L01 module which is a communication module based on a single frequency radio wave band. The use of a single frequency for sending and receiving data allows the transmission signal to collide with the receiving signal which causes data packets to be lost or damaged. This can be avoided by using the method of scheduling sending and receiving data. One of the scheduling methods that can be used is the Time Division Duplex (TDD) method. The concept of TDD is to give a time slot at one processing time, where the process of sending and receiving data occurs in the same frequency as each processing time. This process has a time guard that is between the time of sending data and receiving data which functions to prevent collisions between sending and receiving signals. Previous research has succeeded in implementing the TDD method on the system of sending and receiving data using Bluetooth low energy and Wi-Fi in the plant monitoring system. The test of this research is done by testing scenario of sending data based on distance variation with two parameters, namely success ratio and average delay in sending data. The distance variation used in the study is 1 meter to 10 meters. The success ratio parameter produces the lowest success ratio value of 71% at a distance of 7 meters and the highest ratio of 91% at a distance of 5 meters. Then on the average delay parameter, the delay results are 0.871 seconds on sensor node 1, 0.638 seconds on sensor node 2, and 0.644 seconds on sensor node 3.

Abstract

Parking is a process for every vehicle that stops at a certain place. Parking areas owned by agencies, institutions, and institutions should prioritize service and security for the sake of parking eligibility. The parking system that has been implemented so far is still being implemented with limited number of human guards, so it has many loopholes for theft to occur without the vehicle owner knowing. RFID technology is a solution for today in solving the problem of theft and contactless technology. Several studies have been conducted, many of which are used only as a parking area monitoring tool. The lack of a system/tool that is usually used to respond when a vehicle is lost belonging to a parking area user is a problem for both the parking area owner and the vehicle owner. This security system is made using RFID technology, Load-Cell sensors, and GSM modules as a solution to related problems. From the manufacture of the system, of course, it is necessary to test the problem of delay or response speed when a theft occurs. The results of the tests and analyzes carried out get pretty good numbers, namely around 2 seconds to provide notification in the form of SMS to vehicle owners, and about 5 seconds for the system to close the portal when it is open. The response given is the result of data transactions from the sensor node to the Gatekeeper node using the ESP-NOW protocol communication. The Gatekeeper node is also used to communicate with the basis data, in terms of verifying whether the user is registered or not. Registered user data will of course be recorded when accessing the parking area when entering or exiting and displayed on a web page.

Abstract

Disability is a term used for someone who is unable to perform certain activities due to limited physiological, psychological, and anatomical conditions. According to the WHO report, about 15% of the world's population has a disability and in 2020 a Bourne researcher noted that the most people with disabilities are blind or blind people as many as 43.3 million people. The large number of people with disabilities, especially people with disabilities, makes the government and scientists try to find tools that aim to meet the needs of people with disabilities in their activities. Several studies have made tools to detect objects using sensors, but they have weaknesses, namely a narrow range, low accuracy and relatively long computation time. In this study, an architectural disturbance detection system was applied, namely going down stairs and climbing stairs with digital images in bright room conditions (101-1000 lux) using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix feature extraction method and the Artificial Neural Network classification method. Tests were conducted to determine the best distance and theta in feature extraction to produce the highest accuracy, the highest accuracy was obtained with a value of 0.9144 at distance = 3 and theta = 90Ëš. For real time test results, the average detection accuracy is 74.88% and the average computation time is 0.2945528 seconds. The integration of the input and output systems of the test results for the detection of floors, stairs going down and stairs going up results in 100% accuracy.

Abstract

E-learning is a new way to learning to use electronic media typically involving the internet. E-learning has several advantages where students can access subject matter at any time. One of the most popular e-learning applications is Moodle. In its implementation, Moodle can be done using moodlecloud, on-premise and self-hosted servers. The implementation of the service moodle e-learning in self-hosted or using cloud computing services would be ideal option. The advantages offered by cloud computing services are a strong consideration, where not required financing and do not need to spend in early financing server maintenance. Service selection and deployment model greatly affect the performance of the Moodle application and also the financing from resource used. Moodle requires a service with good performance to cope with the number of users who use it, this becomes a polemic for moodle e-learning service providers, which is how the ideal deployment model to implement moodle e-learning applications on cloud computing services with high levels of performance and scalability and also service financing used. The test is done by providing requests in the form of enrol activities, view courses and quiz on docker swarm clusters built on aws services ec2 t2.medium, t3.medium and t3a.medium services with user rates of 40, 80, 120. The test includes performance testing with test parameters, namely throughput, success ratio, latency, use of cpu and memory resources. Based on the results of testing and cluster analysis, ec2 t3.medium and t2.medium have good performance based on the throughput and latency test values for enrol activities, view courses and quizzes, based on the success ratio test scores, clusters on ec2 t2.medium have good performance with an error value of 0% on enrol activities, 0% on view course activities and 0.1% on quiz activities with 120 user requests.

Abstract

Website of the Lembaga Tinggi Pesantren Luhur Malang is a website as a means of da'wah, publication of pesantren activities, history, and online registration of new students. The usability components tested in this study are the components of learnability, efficiency, error and satisfaction. This study uses usability testing, interviews and filling out the system usability scale (SUS) and single easy question (SEQ) questionnaires. All participants in this study were users of the website ranging from 15-17 years old, 18-24 years old and 25-64 years old. Usability testing was conducted on nine respondents to determine the components of learnability, efficiency, and error, to explore the problems faced, interviews and SEQ questionnaires were filled out at the end of usability testing. The SUS questionnaire was filled out to 20 respondents to determine the satisfaction component. The evaluation results show the value of the learnability component (77.7%), the efficiency component (0.00039 goals/sec), the errors component (0.09), the satisfaction component on the SUS questionnaire (74) and the SEQ questionnaire with the highest score of 6.6. This indicates a problem that needs to be identified further. The results of participant interviews showed 6 problems, and 6 recommendations for improvement solutions were given regarding changing the interface and adding features based on the appropriate guidelines.

Abstract

Shopeepay is an electronic money service issued by the shopee company for transactions at shopee, offline payments at shopeepay partners, and storing the returned funds for use in subsequent transactions. Many shopeepay users in Indonesia raise many opinions on this platform, one of which is the microblogging site, namely Twitter. Sentiment analysis or opinion mining is computational learning to identify and extract as well as study opinions, sentiments, emotions, judgments and views in text form. Random Forest which is one of the methods in conducting Sentiment Analysis and enters the type of Decision tree method. In this study, the random forest classifier algorithm was used to classify the opinions of twitter users on the shopeepay platform. From the implementation, the values ​​for the results with a tree depth of 55 and the number of trees 300 resulted in 95% precision, 94% recall, 95% F1-Score and 95% accuracy.
