Abstract

Project manager who can handle three to five projects at once, has problems to monitor works of the projects, because in one project there are at least 30 works to be managed. With all of those works, there are works that are not monitored, so they are not completed on schedule. Moreover, CV. Nusantara Media Mandiri (CVNMM) still use waterfall approach in software development. Whereas CVNMM has a policy whereby software that has been completed by the project team, it will get a warranty (software usage training, repair, and changes to the system) for 2 months after the software received by the client. Because of this warranty, especially in case of system changes, just in January - March 2017 there are 4 of 7 clients who request a system change on the software that has been completed by the project team. Therefore, CVNMM wants to develop a software project management application to assist in monitoring works of the project, in addition to dealing with system changes, CVNMM can use the popular agile approach, which is scrum. Because this framework allows the client to review a piece of software, when the developer has finished iterating, so there's no need to wait until the software is completely done. CVNMM's software project management application have 38 functional requirements, where all of the functional requirements have valid in black-box testing.

Abstract

The house left by homeowener became one of the target robbers to commit a crime. Therefore security is a mandatory requirement of every homeowner. One example of traditional systems that are still widely used are home alarms. But home alarms are offline, in the sense that if the homeowner is out of the house, then the danger alarm can not be accepted by the home owner. Because of these problems the research was conducted to make home monitoring systems using microcomputers. Microcomputers used in this research are Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. There are four main processes in this research including engineering needs, design, implementation, and system testing. The result of engineering requirement got eight functional requirement and two non functional requirement for software on microcomputer. While in the smartphone software obtained 20 functional requirements. Needs that have been obtained as a design system with the results of architecture design in the form of data design, architecture design, interface design, component design, and hardware design. The design of the created system is implemented into the program code using Javascript followed by hardware implementation. Home monitoring systems have been successfully tested using white box testing techniques on unit testing and black box testing techniques on validation testing. The result of performance test obtained time of giving danger notification that is a pretty good between 5-9 seconds.

Abstract

Voice technology can be used as a control over various types of electronic equipment, including lights and fans. In its application the sentence used for control of the equipment is limited and must know what sentence can be used to use the system. Based on this problem, control fan and lights with implicitly command using voice. Arduino as a control system for lights and fans by using Android for sound processing with text processing methods. Voice data entered via Android is converted to text. Each sentence-shaped text is separated into unit words. Then each word is matched with a database that has been created previously using the stopword removal wordlist algorithm. The matching results are sent to Arduino and the data is processed to produce output in the form of light and fan control. From the test results, this system has a 100% success value in functional testing and testing of user voice input processing. In testing the success of the system to process the user's implicit sentence into the desired output, it has an accuracy of 96.67%. Furthermore, to test the performance of the application to process sentences, the system has an average time of 1 second increase according to the many words entered, while the sentence processing process increases by 200 nano seconds along with the number of input words.

Abstract

Internet of Things is one of technology that being popular every year. The ability of IoT to collecting information and data in the big scale and coming from many sources, make IoT needs middleware so that whole of data can be managed well. Data that has been collected will be saved on the data storage. To ease the process of shipping and process of saving data so that will be built API Web service that equipped with authentication and authorization's mechanism as security data. API Web service using Semantic Interoperability's concept so that data will more easy to understand. Functionality test shows that web service running as well as that function. With using web service on data storage in IoT's environment, so troubles in IoT data storage can be solved.

Abstract

Taking care and maintaining healthy eyes are very important for human, because eyes are one of the senses that help human to do daily activities. Eyes that give visual information to human, cannot be separated from the threat of many eyes diseases. The diseases can attack from small to big scale. Unfortunately, eyes diseases are usually considered not to have such potential to harm human, so eyes health often to be ignored by people in general. Therefore, in this paper a system to identify eyes diseases has been developed using Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method. This method can give classification to a pattern that represent specific class, which will move to a nearer position to corresponding class when the classification data point is true. In this research, there are 21 symptoms and 9 eyes diseases that processed in training and testing processes, where the data were divided into training data and testing data. In training process, LVQ method did some stages to get final weight. The weight will be used in testing process. Using LVQ method, obtained parameter values are α = 0.4, Dec α = 0.8, Min α = 0.00001, Max Epoch = 25, training data = 100 data (80%) and data test = 25 data (20%). From accuracy testing for this system, the result show 82.80% average accuracy and 92% highest accuracy, that means this system works fine. So, it can be concluded that LVQ method can be used for eyes diseases identification.

Abstract

MANET is one of the wireless technologies that consists of several mobile nodes that are structuredwithout a fixed infrastructure. In the absence of a fixed infrastructure, it poses a challenge in terms ofsecurity. One of the MANET attacks that are often encountered is black hole attacks. A black hole attackis a data retrieval attack by sending fake reply messages to the data sending node that declares itselfas the shortest and fastest node to get to the destination node. Where before reaching the destinationnode, the data packet has been dropped. Black hole attacks have two types of attacks, including; anattack which is only done by one attacker node and a collaborative black hole attack performed bymore than one attacking node. In this study the authors use the model of manhattan mobility gridmovement and routing protocol. One of the routing protocols found in MANET is the DSR routingprotocol. the simulation of this test is done using NS-3 simulator with test scenario based on number ofnodes, number of black hole nodes and the area of simulation area. The test was conducted todetermine the effect of black hole attacks of data transmission with packet delivery ratio testingparameters and total packet loss. From the simulation, the test result shows that black hole attackworks quite significantly with total packet loss 89.6552% and the best packet delivery ratio is 53.3333%

Abstract

In the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Brawijaya University, the survey shows that 76% of 100 FILKOM students are more interested in studying materials other than the basic programming courses. Limitations of material resources obtained and Student Centered Learning methods that used in FILKOM are considered less helpful for students to understand the learning materials. Therefore, it has developed an attractive java programming learning system based on website using gamification method. However, research from Studi Baidu states that users of mobile applications are 97%, greater than browsers that only 76%. Some studies related to gamification also states that the next research direction is from the side of mobility. Based on this data, need to develop Java learning programming application in mobile version which acts as client, so that existing system can act as server. In this research, the application is built in native android platform. To exchange data with the server, it is necessary to build a web service that is used as Application Programming Interface (API). The results of the development of android-based applications obtained 19 main features, while the results of web service development obtained 8 new classes on the system-based website. Unit testing is done using white-box method and validation testing is done by black-box method. The results of unit testing and validation testing yield a 100% value, which means all features work in accordance with requirements.

Abstract

Fire accident is an event that produce flame, in which fire accident could make a significant loss and even casualty. Fire accident mostly caused by human error. This research conducted to create a system for flame detection utilizing camera (2 camera) attached in every room inside a home in order to facilitate user to detect flame as soon as possible when the fire started in each of the room, and also made an advantage from Gateway SMS as a notifier alert. This system utilized a Mini PC (Raspberry Pi 3 Model B) acted as a data processor and control system. And also, this system completed by using Logitech C525 Camera acted as an input to take flame image. As for the Buzzer, it rings the alarm dan Modul SIM900A acted as an output to notify by SMS when there is flame. This system used image processing method processed inside Raspberry Pi 3 Model B doing some controls over the output income which is by doing Morphological Image Filtering through OpenCV. Result obtained for flame detection accuracy was 90%, as for flame detection inter-camera in every room was 96.66%, and the computation mean time tests were 27.5ms, 22.2ms, and 36.25ms

Abstract

Computer Science Faculty of Brawijaya University has a reading room that provides a collection of books and various research reports used by students to learn, looking for information and references related to subjects, thesis final assignment, and some other research. The reading room has been using information systems by utilizing desktop-based information systems to serve lending and return service activities. Currently to access the information system and library services is still offline, so in the process of borrowing books, students must come to the reading room, there is no information related to the amount of availability in each book, the absence of management of fines, so that the reading room staff have difficulty in managing borrowing and return of books. So this research is done by developing a library management information system that can overcome the problem of borrowing, returns, management of mulct, and to seek information online. This research using waterfall model method in information system development that will be built and using Unified Modeling Langueage (UML) to make it easier to understand the design of the built software. Based on problem analysis resulting on 13 features system, 28 functional requirements, and 1 non-functional requirement provides an overview of the capabilities that can be done by the library management information system. The result of validation testing, the system can run well and declared valid. The results of UAT show that 100% system can be received from the side of the reading room staff and students and the results of compatibility testing, there is a critical issue that appear due to ssl or https feature is not enabled

Abstract

SDIT Madani Ekselensia is an integrated Islamic primary school that offers education of the Qur'an as its flagship program. In the teaching of the Qur'an in SDIT Madani Ekselensia, teachers should record, remember and evaluate the progress of learning of Qur'an students individually using mutabaah. The recording of student progress is still in manual form with the teacher writing his or her assessment on the student's mutabaah sheets stored in each class. Activities on learning the Qur'an include noting the progress of students and report it to parents every day. Teachers also recapped student's mutabaah for the coordinator. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design a Student Mutabaah Management Information System using Ripple method and Problem Pyramid tool with test of analysis result and design using Consistency Analysis and Traceability Matrix. The final result of this research is use case, activity diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, communication diagram, database schema, dan user interface sketches.
