Abstract

The development of technology at this time has entered various human activities, especially on the activities of buying and selling goods. With the presence of various technologies on the process of buying and selling goods such as mobile e-commerce applications that can already be used at this time facilitate the public in running the process of buying and selling goods online. Because there are enough applications that exist then each application must be able to compete with other applications. One of these applications is a mobile e-commerce application tapp market that entered in 2015 in Indonesia. Because the application is a new application launched in Indonesia it is necessary to evaluate and improve the appearance and features of the application tapp market in order to compete with applications that have been present before. In this research, diary study method is used to explore the experience and user response deeply and conceptually in the application of tapp market application. In addition to the use of the diary study method, a user journey method is used to map the user's journey in interaction with the application being researched to obtain user travel maps containing touchpoints and ideas for improvements from each stage run by the user. The problems found in this study related to the improvement of features and appearance. The results of recommended improvements to the look and features of the user's travel mapping are the basis for the improvement and creation of user protocols. Measures of success of this research process based on the validation of the expert to obtain data in accordance with the purpose of research.

Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik is non-department government institutions which provide data for government and society needs, whereas the Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional well known as Susenas was held. However, when the Sunesas program of Badan Pusat Statistik of Kediri executed, the level achievement from every process is lower than other regions in the province of East Java. Thus, based on the problems these studies are to analyzed business process Susenas Program problems and recommended the business process improvement. Then, collecting the data by interviewed and observed to know the existed business process using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). There are three main business processes, namely pemutakhiran blok sensus business process, pencacahan sampel rumah tangga business process, and pemeriksaan berkas business process. Then, analyze the problem using The Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to get the root cause of each business process. Then, improving the business process using Business Process Improvement (BPI) using Streamlining tool. From the result of the comparison between the as-is business process and the to-be business process showed that on the pemutakhiran blok sensus business process experienced an average time acceleration of 23.85%, on the pencacahan sampel rumah tangga business process experienced an average time acceleration of 47.76%, and on the pemeriksaan berkas business process experienced an average time acceleration of 8.15%.

Abstract

In determining the nutritional needs for infants required several factors, one of the strengthening factors is to determine the nutritional status of infants. In determining the nutritional status of infants, it need a rangewhhich contain of the limit on each nutitional category. The method used in this determination is fuzzy tsukamoto which will be used for the optimization of membership function with genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithms are used to form the boundaries formed on a chromosome. Boundaries of grade that have been used in genetic algorithm will be a function grade of membership in fuzzy tsukamoto. The next process is fuzzy tsukamoto will process the data in accordance with the value that has been optimized by the genetic algorithm to determine the final result. Further testing is done to determine the best parameters in making chromosomes. The Test are obtained an average accuracy of 53.5%. Accuracy is obtained from the calculation of the optimization results compared with the value of the expert.

Abstract

Batu City is a city famous for its tourism, therefore every year the population and the number of vehicles in Batu and surrounding areas continue to grow. This fact caused the traffic density in Batu City and its surrounding area to increase, this traffic density caused many problems, one of them is traffic accident problem. Currently there is no information system used to handle traffic accidents problem in Batu City. One solution that can be used is to build a geographic information system (GIS) that can identify the locations of the highest level of traffic accidents. Data used in the development of this system are coordinate data of traffic accidents location, the number of traffic accident victims obtained from Polres Kota Batu, and road network data. Data collected during the period of 2013-2016. GIS analysis was utilized Street Profile Analysis method to determine the progress of traffic accidents on a certain road segment. Meanwhile, to determine the level of traffic accidents Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) method was employed. The result of this GIS is a WebGIS that displays the locations of traffic accidents along with identification of locations that have the highest traffic accident rate. With this system, the location that has the highest traffic accident rate has been identified is on Jalan Raya Waturejo. While mapping the location of traffic accidents found a number of 26 points during the year 2013-2016. Black box testing test results of 100%. Then for compatibility testing results, the system can not run on Internet Explorer browser only. While for the results of testing UAT get results almost 88% for admin user and almost 90% for community users.

Abstract

Information technology was expanding rapidly and widely spread in all sectors of the field. One of the points in the Regulation of the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises Number: PER-02/MBU/2013 About the Information Technology Management Preparation Guidelines of State Owned Enterprises explained that the utilization and development of information technology in SOEs should be based on a governance system. PT Krakatau Tirta Industri was a SOE that had not implemented a framework in managing their information technology governance. This study aimed to find out the implementation results of COBIT 5 framework on companies in managing information technology governance. The implementation process adapted COBIT 5 implementation life cycle and was only done until the design phase. The phases were identificating the need to change; mapping the enterprise goals, IT-related goals and IT processes; analysing the current capability levels; analysing the target capability level; analysing the gap and composing improvement recommendations. Based on current domain DSS04 capability level assessment, PT Krakatau Tirta Industri was at level 1 and had a gap of 2 as the company set the target capability level at level 3. The end result of this study was the design of improvement recommendations of base practice procedures and output documents that were not available yet to meet level 1.

Abstract

Differences in screen size between the desktop screen, tablet and smartphone and the diversity of the number of website columns cause the problem of decrease value effectiveness and efficiency of the website. This problem happens because the layout arrangement is less good when a website has a certain number of column conditions and transformed into a particular device. So it is necessary to rearrange a good website layout by adjusting the number of columns and certain devices. The layout arrangement consists of a website with the number of columns that is one column, two columns, and three columns and the device selected for layout arrangement is tablet and smartphone. The rearrangement of the website layout is derived from the application of Material Design Guidelines (MDG) and User Centered Design (UCD) approaches to find out which approach is better applied for layout arrangement with specific column counts and certain devices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the website. The equation of effectiveness and efficiency of Anton Sergeev (2010) is used to determine the increase or decrease in effectiveness and efficiency on website before and after modeled. Based on the results of this study, the MDG approach further increases the efficiency of website time of three columns tablet version. While UCD approach further increase the efficiency of website time one and two columns version of tablets and smartphones and three-column website version of the smartphone.

Abstract

Lately, there are many terrorist threats by the radicals in Indonesia. Radicals keep growing by numbers each day as they share their radical beliefs to other people. These radical beliefs can be shared through social media, such as Twitter. Therefore, a research regarding that problem is conducted. Documents of Twitter that contain radical tweets are classified to two categories, positive radical content and negative radical content. The method used for this research is Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Polynomial Degree Kernel. The highest accuracy rate achieved from this research is 70% with the parameter value of λ is 0,1, constant value of γ is 0,1, maximum iteration of 5 with training data sets of 80 documents (60 negative documents and 20 positive documents) as training data sets and 20 documents (15 negative documents and 5 positive documents) as testing data sets.

Abstract

Driving safety is the most important thing in driving on the highway to avoid accidents. Accidents occur due to several factors including lack of concentration while driving, drowsiness, and so forth. One effort to avoid or reduce the risk of accidents when driving is to maintain the distance of the vehicle with the vehicle in front of it. In this study the theme of image processing is used to achieve the goal of maintaining distance between vehicle by utilizing the Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) method as a way of extracting vehicle features which in this case are cars, then classified by the Vector Support Machine (SVM) method to distinguish between car classes and not cars, the two methods are implemented uses a Raspberry Pi camera mounted on the dashboard to detect the vehicle in front of it. When the distance of the vehicle with the vehicle in front is less than or equal to 15 meters (≤15m), the buzzer will sound as a sign that the vehicle is too close. The accuracy of the system in detecting cars using Support Vector Machine (SVM) that based on the Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) feature by testing at a distance of 10 m, 15 m, 20 m, dan 30 m is 81.3% and the testing accuracy of Hardware and Software integration is 87.5%.

Abstract

Aquaponics is an excellent cultivation choice to apply, this system grows in a mutually beneficial environment. The existence of fish, plants and bacteria is very important. These elements create a mutually beneficial relationship called a symbiotic mutualism. In an aquaponics system, pH and water level are mutually controlled components to be maintained at a certain level for aquaponical optimization, it underlies the existence of a control system by implementing a fuzzy method for processing the data of acidity and aquarium water level. Then it will be processed in Arduino Uno microcontroller. The input data was obtained from respondents using questionnaires which processed into the value of the input of membership degree, then it enter in the implication process, the implication function used is min, go into the composition of the fuzzy system rule is max, from the advanced inference engine in the defuzzification process obtained the fixed value for the pump output. Testing of pH and ultrasonic sensors reveal that the sensor works in a low error rate. In testing of fuzzy Mamdani method, the fuzzy processing of the system and manually testing is done by analyzing that the fuzzy formula applied to the system can produce an output corresponding to the fuzzy calculation. From data obtained samples can be concluded that the output of the system in accordance with the undertaken design. It is proved by comparing to the output value of the system equal to the output of the manual calculation, and has a 100% accuracy on fuzzy testing performed.

Abstract

In an effort to maintain facilities and operational support at Sam Ratulangi International Airport Manado managed by electricity division. In daily tasks, electricity division require conformity about the readiness of device on each shift. Technicians sometimes requires a previous history of damage to help identify damage to the device. This research provide a system capable of distributing data quickly. Almost all technicians have Android devices. Android applications can run in the background and provides data synchronization. Firebase has a feature to trigger updates in real time data and able to send notifications. This research uses an incremental approach to accommodate the user's desire about the system. Begins by analyzing problems that result in functional and non functional requirements. Research continues with the design, system implementation and testing, and system evaluation by stakeholders repeatedly. The design produce system behavior and required data structure. Implementation and testing produce tangible results from system implementation. Stakeholder evaluation generates feedback in subsequent development. The last stage is testing to see if the system capable to solve the problem by comparing the time required. The test results obtained that the business process after implementation faster than before implementation so it is considered to solve existing problems.
