Abstract

In the Golden Age (children under five years old) have an important phase in child growth. Based on Basic Health Research in 2013, the development of children in East Java is still experiencing nutritional problems. The first because, lack of knowledge of parents to the nutritional needs of children. The second because, the lack of attention to the price of food in accordance with food ingredients that have balanced nutrition.One efforts of Dinkes Malang was involving Posyandu to do counseling related to improve child nutrition. However, these efforts were still experiencing obstacles in the form of the number of portions of food given to each children has not been adjusted based on weight and age, in addition the children lack variety of foodstuffs. Thus, the reseracher search a system to optimize it. Genetic algorithm was a Algorithm that was often used to overcome the problem of optimization. The results of the system in the form of lists of food and weight and price adjusted to the weight and age of children.Based on the test results obtained optimal parameters that the optimal population amount of 100, the optimal generation amount of 70 and the optimal combination of cr value and mr value was 0.5 and 0.5 resulted in a fitness value of 50.821.

Abstract

The financial management of employees at Biro Organisasi of East Java Provincial Government is still less efficient. Efficiency improvement of employee financial management can be achieved with the support of information system. Research on the development of employee financial information systems is to produce an information system that can improve the efficiency of employee financial management. The development method that used in developing this information sistem is Rational Unified Process (RUP). Business process as-is, business process to-be, fitur, functional and nonfunctional requirement will be modeled in inception phase. The elaboration phase produces a use case according to the features that have been identified and will be used for modeling design diagrams such as activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and algorithmic design. While the results of the analysis class diagram modeling will be used as the basis for making the design and physical data model class. After implementing system according to design, testing of the employee's financial information system will be carried out. The test results reveal that the information system runs according to requirements and can be easily used by users.

Abstract

Scholarship is financial assistance given to individuals for the purpose of sustainability education. Every year, Universitas Brawijaya offers scholarships to underprivileged students, one of them i.e. BBP-PPA scholarships. Scholarships should be given to appropriate candidates so that the objectives of the program can be achieved on target. Selection of scholarship awardee includes several criteria, such as parental income, parental expenses, GPA, and parental dependents. However, complaints often arise from other students when the awardee is not eligible to get a scholarship. Morevover the selection still done manually so that the process of determining the awardees tend to take a long time.Analytical Hierarchy Process-Preference Ranking For Organizatiom's Evaluation I (AHP-PROMETHEE I) is one of the methods that combine the method of AHP and PROMETHEE I. The results of the tests to determine the effect of the matrix comparison on the accuracy of the system. The results showed the accuracy of 73% for calculations using leaving flow, and 93% calculation using entering flow data from experts. Based on the accuracy can be said that the method of AHP-PROMETHEE I has a good performance in the determination of the candidates BBP-PPA scholarship.

Abstract

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or we knownby plane without crew is type of sky's robot explores have incrase develop in nowadays. One kinds of UAV is quadcopter, quadcopter is kinds of sky robots have four motors as vane drive. On process make quadcopter have many trouble, that is experienced pilot requirements for fly quadcopter use remote, expecially for the take-off, because take-off on quadcopter is absolute phase to keep the stability. So need have auto pilot system to manage process a great take-off. Based on that trouble so made experiment about guide system of take-off quadcopter use fuzzy logic with rule 7x7 where have two input is acceleration and change of acceleration, while output which result is speed. For know the error phase is examination as much as ten times with high 1 - 4 meter. And for know time need quadcopter for get hover use record time with stopwatch. So the result of this experiment is the precision obtained is already good but the time if takes is still need a long time while the rule is match with result output.

Abstract

One of the important things that need or become a primary human need is a place to live or home. Many people can directly buy by credit. In this case the bank provides services for individuals who want to have a place to live or a decent house. This bank can be used as a financial institution that can ease the burden of the payment process to be able to make a home loan. In this study took a case study at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) in the recommendation of granting KPR. With the increasingly brilliant Home Ownership Credit (KPR) program, every agency that provides a KPR program is demanded to be quick and precise in completing the families who apply for a KPR. So it requires time efficiency, accuracy of results in selecting mortgage customers and to improve the quality and service of the bank. Analytic Hierarchy Process Method - Order Preference Technique by Ideal Solution (AHP - TOPSIS) was chosen at the time of research because the AHP method has advantages in a different process from one another. And the TOPSIS method has advantages in practical decision making and the results of alternative decisions. The results of this study provide subreferences at 5 values that produce a value of λmax = 5.3351 CI = 0.0838 and CR = 0.0748 which get 85% accuracy results from 40 test data.

Abstract

6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low power Wireless Personal Area Networks), is an IPV6-based protocol that allows devices with small power consumption such as fixed sensors to connect and participate in IoT (Internet of Things) with greater scalability. This research simulate 6LoWPAN protocol on wireless sensor network (WSN) using Cooja simulator. Wireshark then used to analyse QoS (Quality of service) parameters, that is throughput, delay and jitter to know the performance of 6LoWPAN. Simulator is used because building a genuine propagation network takes a lot of time and costs. From the results of simulation that use cluster-based topology involving 10 clusters and routing protocol for low power and lossy network (RPL), the acquisition of throughput, delay and jitter based on Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Networks (TIPHON) showing a good results. the highest throughput is obtained by Cluster 1 with 206 bps, the lowest delay was obtained by cluster 7 with 56 ms and the lowest jitter also obtained by cluster 7 with 0.003 ms. It can be concluded that the 6LoWPAN protocol performance on wireless sensor network is very good, consider the high throughput value with low delay and jitter value

Abstract

Master of Business Administration is a program of masgiter study at Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Currently every stage of thesis work is using physical forms that must be filled by students. The physical form is changed hands or forwarded to the parties involved in the thesis workflow for approval or signature. The use of physically transferred or forwarded forms for approval may slow the flow of thesis work. This happens because the physical form is submitted and checked manually. Based on the mentioned problems, so the solution can be given is to develop a thesis management information system that serves to overcome the problem due to the use of the physical form. The result of this research are 52 functional requirement and 1 non functional requirement. From Black-box testing, 52 functional requirements have been tested and 100% valid. Compatibility testing that has been done, resulting the system can run smoothly on the computer web browser and mobile device web browser except on the web browser IE 9 and web browser BlackBerry 7.1.

Abstract

The large amount of investment for the implementation of Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) in Rumah Sakit Daerah Kalisat, become the main reason to evaluate the implementation of the system that has been running. In order to support service performance, all employees as SIMRS users are expected to have a full commitment on using SIMRS, so it is necessary to identify the factors that influence user acceptance. This study was conducted to evaluate SIMRS acceptance by measuring the perception of the employee's usefulness towards SIMRS and see how its effect on employee's intention to use SIMRS. As well as measure the attitude of employees as an acceptance or rejection feeling towards SIMRS and how its effect on employee's intention to use SIMRS. This study also conducted a test to find mediation effect by attitudes. From the whole population, 56 employees randomly selected as samples and was stratified according to their jobs. The result of hypothesis testing by using Partial Least Square, showed that there is no positive and significant effect from perceived usefulness towards behavioral intention, there was a positive and significant effect from attitudes towards behavioral intention and there can't be found the mediating effect by attitude. The results of the evaluation supported by observation and interview that the current implementation of SIMRS has not been able to support a full medical records and reporting process, and employees should be given the opportunity to use SIMRS consistently, in order to build their positive attitude towards SIMRS.

Abstract

Text in images contain useful information. Text detection in Natural Scene Image (NSI) becomes an important part of research on text information extraction (TIE). For getting information on the NSI there are various challenges, such as determining the text region in a complex background to recognize various kinds of text that has a variety of shapes, sizes, colors and others. The results of TIE can be implemented in many ways, one of them system can to help blind people to recognize product label or recognize text is around them. To recognize text on the NSI is a composite of two research topics, the first topic is determination of the text region or text detection and second topic is recognizing character of text or character recognition. In this research will focus on recognizing character using backpropagation method. Results of tests is 44.00%, this is influenced by the features extracted from the results of image binerization, many image data has a noise.

Abstract

University of Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) is private university that has many faculties and study program, one of them is Industrial Engineering (TI). TI UMG has a web-based information system called Academic Information System (SIAKAD). SIAKAD is a system at the university level that only serves for filling card study plan (KRS) and lecturers marking grades only, not including on the management of submission of Job Training (PKL), Thesis, Seminar and Thesis Defence. Some activities in TI UMG are done by manual procedure such as: job training and thesis registration. Three out of seven respondents say that without the system, number of students that have registered and have not is unknown. Two of the seven respondents stated that the current system is still less efficient. Therefore, a system is needed to fix the existing problem. The purpose of this research is to design a Thesis dan Field Job Practice Management Information System using Ripple methodology with design testing using Requirement Traceability. The results of this study are class diagrams, sequence diagrams, database schema and interface design. Then the results of the design tests show each requirement has unique code that can be traced to features, use cases, communication and sequence diagrams.
