Abstract

Video Game development has grown as time passes, with an example of Computer Graphic which resulted in products that are almost on par with reality. Varieties of game engine available for developers helps the growth of game development and game industries. One aspect of game development which has also grown is Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI has the ability to give the game a feeling of reality, with its intelligence that is almost like that of a human. One use of AI that is frequently used is Pathfinding. Pathfinding is a searching method from one point to another driven by AI. A* is the most frequently used pathfinding, because A* is guaranteed to give the optimal path. However, the generated path is not always the closest path, as there are other omitted paths which can optimized further with post-processing technique. There are lots of alternative beside A*, one example is Theta* Pathfinding, which is an algorithm that was developed from A*. This research discusses Theta* Pathfinding and its performance compared to basic A* Pathfinding in a maze game. The result of this research shows that Theta* Pathfinding generates a shorter, more optimal route and a shorter time compared to that of A* Pathfinding.

Abstract

The Malang city library has an official website to help the community in using services from a distance. The features offered range from viewing book collections to extending borrowing time online. Based on the results of interviews with one of the library members and observations, there were complaints or usability problems on the Malang city library website, there was no error message when the user entered an incorrect password or username and inconsistent language usage. Based on these problems, the evaluation and improvement of usability on the design of the Malang city library website interface uses the heuristic method to find usability problems based on 10 heuristic principles by evaluators. From the evaluation results, it was found that there were 45 problems found in 8 of the 10 heuristic principles. The heuristic principle with the highest percentage of finding problems is the heuristic principle (H-8) Aesthetic and minimalist design with 31.67% of all problem findings. While the heuristic principle that has the highest severity rating is the heuristic principle (H-5). Error prevention with a severity rating of 3.06 of the 4 problems found. From the findings of the problem, recommendations for improvement were given which were then reevaluated by the evaluator. The results obtained from the evaluation of the recommendations for improvement were 95.45% of the problems that were resolved from a total of 44 problems.

Abstract

On every levels of society and age must have experienced anxiety, from early state to disorder state. Not everyone knows how to deal with it, if it not treated it would become dangerous mental illness for mental and physical condition. There are six kind of anxiety , that is General Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In this research will be conducted the identification for kind of anxiety based on Hamilton Rating Scale of Anxiety (HIRS) questionnaire with Modified K-nearest Neighbor (MKNN) for the research method. Unlike K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), MKNN is another version of that where on MKNN training data must be validated first and for the class voting would be weighted. This research indicates that MKNN could identify anxiety better on unbalanced data used 96 training data and 24 test data with value of h=1 and optimum value of K=3 with best average result 95%, while on balanced data with optimum value of K=2 best average result is 93,333%. This research also indicates as comparison with KNN that in this case resulted on KNN has better result processing balanced and unbalanced data because of noisy data on weighted process, and the result from K-fold Cross Validation that conclude the system is capable enough.

Abstract

Project Management that applies knowledge, skills, tools, techniques to project work activities. Poor management will impact on delays in project completion, additional costs incurred from the budget that has been prepared, the quality of construction that is not in accordance with existing requirements, and the construction process. Problems that occur at PT. Mitra Inti Cemerlang in determining material prices and labor costs, were asked to determine the price values ​​of several people who were preparing the RAB. Will cause the calculation to be wrong and can cause the contractor. Because in the process of preparing a budget plan (RAB) at PT. MIC is done by several people. In addition to the project work, a company has a project work period that must be achieved. If the contracting company cannot reach the target work time, the company will get sanctions. To assist in the process of preparing the RAB and observing the project work processes that have been carried out then to solve the problem a project management system is built. the RAB preparation process and monitoring the work processes that have been carried out. The Waterfall model will be used in the development process. And from the results of tests that have been run, this system produces valid values.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 Malang is a high school that was founded in 1988. The school focuses on Appearance, Achievement and Service. In improving services there are several problems that occur. These problems include the management of goods that are still recorded in books, irregular storage of documents and omissions in writing. These problems can hamper the performance of services provided to the school community. Based on these problems it is necessary to explore the need of stakeholder to produce a solution. The solution provided is in the form of an artifact, which is an information system that can solve problems. Making artifacts using the SDLC approach with the Waterfall model which is implemented in the form of a website. The requirements analysis stage obtained 29 system requirements and 1 non-functional system requirements. The design phase uses OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) obtained by 8 class controllers and 10 class models. The implementation phase uses MVC as a system architecture and yii2 as a framework. And testing the system using validation testing to users for the overall function of the system and obtained 100% valid results. Compatibility testing results in 9% of problems with various web browsers. Testing user acceptance of the system using User Acceptance Testing obtained 100% value that the user accepts the system that has been developed. This research resulted in an inventory of information systems inventory management artifacts of facilities and infrastructure that have functional requirements according to user needs and have been tested to users.

Abstract

Laundry service providers are businesses that are in great demand today. The laundry service process is divided into several stages, first stage is laundry registration stage, clothing processing, and clothing collection. Snapwash is a laundry service provider based in the city of Bekasi. Snapwash wants to provide a laundry service booking service directly to the front door of the user who can be ordered through the application then the agent will pick up the clothes to be laundry and deliver them to Snapwash or one of the partners working with Snapwash. Therefore, the Android-based Snapwash application is made to help customers, through the application the user can order laundry services, tracking progress, get push notification related to laundry that is being processed and can send laundry related questions and make laundry complaints via chatbots developed using Dialogflow. Snapwash is also made a website admin system to manage laundry orders from customers. In this study, this application was developed by applying the prototyping method because it can help in the process of extracting user needs. The implementation of this application program code uses the Kotlin programming language. Based on the results of unit testing and validation testing get 100% valid results which can be concluded that this application has met and in accordance with user needs. The results of usability testing using SUS (System Usability Scale) as an instrument get the result of 75.5 which can be concluded that the application is in the Acceptable category and according to user needs.

Abstract

Authentication is one of many problems about the security of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Authentication on IoT devices is urgently needed as development on IoT grows. Because IoT devices are constrained devices, a conventional method for authentication is difficult to use. Furthermore, one of the authentication mechanism used in IoT devices called, JSON Web Token (JWT), still has many problems when used on an insecure connection. Zero Knowledge Proof uses the Feige-Fiat-Shamir Identification Scheme protocol which can be used as a solution for problems regarding authentication difficulties on IoT devices. Results from the research show that the system is able to conduct the authentification process using Feige-Fiat-Shamir Identification Scheme protocol with attack resistance limited to keys having an 20 bit length and 20 rounds, a sniffing attack did not result in the compromisation of any confidential data and a brute force attack did not managed to gain the value of modulus n and private key S. Another finding suggests that the amount of rounds has a significant correlation with memory usage of the device and the amount of rounds has an insignificant correlation with the system's execution time.

Abstract

Human gender could be recognized from his or her face. Males and females have many different features, such as face shape, eyebrows, mouth, chin, nose, eyes, including facial hairs. Many fields aided by such system which could be developed to automatically recognize human gender, especially for demographic analysis by Indonesian Government. Such gender classification system will rapidly help decision maker that need gender recognition ability. A classifier model could be built to distinguish males from females from its facial features by learning a collections of male and female images data. One method for shape feature extraction is Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG). Results shows that classifier ability could be improved by tuning HOG parameter like size for dividing to local image regions, orientation histogram bin size and how each histogram relate to another. This research discussing case of subjects wearing glasses and not. This research explains how to build classification model from Histogram of Oriented Gradients based on face images. Built model able to classify men and women up to 97,83% and 95,92% each. Best parameter for Histogram of Oriented Gradients to classify gender is using (8,8) pixels per cell, 9 bin histogram each cell, (2,2) cell per blocks from (128,128) face image. It could be concluded too that glasses shape affects classification model ability.

Abstract

School financial administration information system is a system that regulates the examination, management, control, search, and storage of school financial data. MTs Yanuris 1 Linggapura is a private school located in the Brebes Regency, where the management of school financial data is handled by the school treasurer include the management of school expenditure and income funds, the management of teacher honorariums, and the recapitulation of the payments of Contribution to Education Development (SPP) money. Some problems were found in the process of managing financial data, including inefficient report preparation, and report filing system, which is still in the form of paper that makes it possible for data loss. Based on the existing problems, therefore, a web-based application was made to reduce the time in preparing a report. System development at MTs Yanuris 1 Linggapura school uses the prototyping method. The system development process includes the stages of requirements analysis, implementation, and testing. The stage of requirements analysis gained 154 functional requirements obtained from 2 times of iterations at the prototyping stage. The stage of implementation uses the PHP programming language in the CodeIgniter framework. The stage of testing includes functional and non-functional testing. Functional testing includes unit testing that successfully carried out the test path based on 3 test cases, integration testing resulted valid status and validation testing resulted 100% valid from 234 test cases. Non-functional testing using usability and compatibility with system results is acceptable to the user and can run well on the Google Chrome browser version 77.

Abstract

Tuna has a high protein content that can meet the nutritional needs of the human body. One of the sea fish that contains omega 3, vitamins, protein, and minerals is tuna. Tuna meat is a type of meat that is easily damaged (rot). Usually to avoid damage of fish, fishermen and sellers usually preserve fish using ice cubes. However, preserving fish using ice cubes requires large amounts of ice cubes, thereby reducing the amount of profit gained and also impractical. To replace ice cubes, usually cheat seller use dangerous chemicals such as formalin. To overcome the cheating, it is needed a classification system for tuna that contains formalin. This system uses several components, such as: arduino mega 2560 microcontroller to process data and calculate k-nearest neighbor, HCHO sensor which is used for detecting HCHO gas released by formalin, and pH sensor used to measure of the pH value in tuna. The system to distinguishing tuna that contains formalin with tuna that does not contain formalin using the k-nearest neighbor method gets 90% accuracy. Test the K value by using odd numbers 3, 5, 7, 9. After that, the results of changes in value K are compared to see which K values are more accurate on the k-nearest neighbor method applied to the system.
