Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a common disease among the people. One of the active preventive things to deal with type 2 diabetes mellitus is to do regular exercise, and eat nutritious foods and have adequate nutrition for 1 day. In getting enough calories or energy according to the needs of patients, calculations can be done manually. But if the process is done manually, it will take a long time so that if this is implemented in a health institution, it will be very inefficient given the large number of patients in the queue. This problem can be solved by using an artificial intelligence system using a genetic algorithm that is performed hybridization with simulated annealing. Simulated Annealing can help the genetic algorithm come out of optimum local conditions, due to its nature that can accept solutions that are not better or better than the previous solution. Simulated Annealing was successfully added to help the genetic algorithm out of optimum local conditions, this was indicated by the highest fitness value of 0.998, with the percentage difference between the patient's actual needs of calories by 0.18%, carbohydrate by 0.20%, protein by 0.69% and the last is fat at 0.27%.

Abstract

In the past few years, streaming media has been enhanced within the wireless network, which is known as wireless mesh network. There is challenge if streaming connected through WMN, which is caused that streaming application requires broad bandwidth for high speed data within multi-hop media as well, thus produces packet value loss and delay significantly, while the streaming depends on packet loss and delay. That is why the purpose of this research is to figure the effect of streaming on optimized link state routing performance using wireless mesh network technology. As for the parameters used to know streaming quality in the network are; delay, packet loss, throughput and jitter. The testing has been done through some scenarios, which are; connection amongst client - server, streaming testing within 1 Mbps bandwidth, streaming testing within 2 Mbps bandwidth. The testing result of those scenarios deliver the highest throughput value as 928 kbps, value of the smallest delay is produced as 12.6 ms, the lowest jitter value as 0.0000098ms, produces packet loss value as 0.00018%. Based on the testing result, thus video streaming occurs on optimized link state routing performance using wireless mesh network technology shows a very good result.

Abstract

Malang State Vocational High School 2 every year carries out industrial work practices (internship). In the internship activities, the school has difficulty, because the industrial work practice data management process was managed manually. This resulted in several difficulties, one of which was in the registration of apprenticeship, the head of the department had difficulty recording data for all students who enroll in apprenticeship, because the head of the department needed to visit classes according to his department to provide a list of Business / Industrial World that can be chosen by students., then the head of the department needs to record the data of the students and where students want to carry out internship. Based on these problems, a web-based Prakerin Information System was built. In the system development process, the SDLC method will be used is V-model. The results of the requirements analysis are strongly approved by the user, evidenced by the results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), with a system that can run in accordance with the expected system functionality as evidenced by system testing. The system is implemented using the PHP programming language and MySQL database management system. Implementation of the system is in accordance with the results of the design made, because the results of unit testing are all sample functions in accordance with the flow of design sequence diagrams and the system has a well structured and written code, high testability, and less cost and effort, then integration testing produces a valid percentage of 100% which means the system has been well integrated.

Abstract

Company sets an effective Information Technology Management in accordance with Ministerial Regulation of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) of 01/2011 Article 30 Section (1) and in reference to Ministerial Regulation of SOEs of 02/2013 Article 3 Section (1) and Section (5) in using and developing information technology to aim the objectives of the company. PT. PLN has an obligation to apply Good Corporate Governance, as mandated in Ministerial Regulation of SOEs of Per-01/MBU/2011 on application of Good Corporate Governance in SOEs. In conducting the business activities, PT. PLN requires the support of information technology operated in the form of software and hardware connected through data communication system of the company. With regards to information technology in PT. PLN, there are numbers of obstacles such as ineffective accident management on IT operational service which affecting the business activities. Based on the finding mentioned, an evaluation of information technology management of PT. PLN is required. This research uses COBIT 5 Domain Framework DSS (Deliver, Service, Support), to understand capability level and gap on information technology management of PT. PLN Head Office. The result of subdomain process of DSS01, DSS02, DSS03, DSS04, DSS05, DSS06 shows that capability level is on level 2, with gap value of 1 on DSS02, DSS05, DSS06 and no gap on DSS03, DSS04. In order to reach the expected target level, the recommendation are to increase supervision and documentation of work product and generic work product that are pertained to accident handling and accident management.

Abstract

Tulungagung Tourism mobile application is an application in the field of tourism under the auspices of the Office of Culture and Tourism of Tulungagung Regency. This application is useful for tourists who come from Tulungagung or even from outside Tulungagung, to find out information and recommendations about tourist spots in Tulungagung. An application must certainly have good usability so that users will have good experience when using an application, and user experience can be said to be very important for an application. Different on the Tulungagung Tourism mobile application. This application has problems related to usability such as users not getting the output they expect when operating the application. In this study, analyzing a level of usability based on user experience in applications using the usability testing method to measure aspects of effectiveness and efficiency, then user experience questionnaire (UEQ) to measure the level of satisfaction (satisfaction). Later this study produced a new interface recommendation in the form of a prototype. From the evaluation results resulted in an increase in effectiveness aspects of 5.38%, efficiency aspects increased by 34.93%, and aspect satisfaction increased by 20%. For the stimulation scale results, which initially were good, rose to excellent, then on a novelty scale that initially above average rose to good. With these results it can be concluded that the user experience in the application increases.

Abstract

Generally, timetabling is done by using conventional tables or spreadsheets. As a result, its affect the quality of timetable and it could drain time and energy if data is considered in thousands. Based on these problems, it requires an intelligent system that not only automates its process but also optimizes the result. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a popular metaheuristic algorithm to solve multiparameter optimization problems. Discrete PSO is used in this study because of combinatorics problems. Various strategies are also used in this method such as transposition method for particle movement, guided random strategies, and particle's position repair strategies. The strategies is expected to improve timetabling result. With the various strategies that have been used, this study will use “Hybrid Discrete PSO” approach. The test results showed the combination of parameters that resulting the best fitness are b_loc=1, b_glob=0,8, b_rand=0, number of particle is 200 and number of iteration is 40. The resulting fitness is 0,018896357 with the total execution time is 34 minutes 16 seconds 358 miliseconds.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Universitas Brawijaya is one of the faculties that have studied technology and computers in Indonesia, from the data of respondents I got through questionnaires distributed to 100 FILKOM students there were about 67% thought that programming was important, but 52% of respondents find it difficult to follow learning in the first year of lecture for various reasons, one of which is the lack of reference to relevant learning materials so that this study aims to develop an e-learning website interface for students of the Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya using the Goal Directed Design (GDD) method. The GDD method has six stages that provide website development solutions in accordance with user objectives, namely Research, Modeling, Requirements, Frameworks, Refinements, and Support. From the whole process, data obtained that support user needs such as persona and user journey, hierarchical task analysis, wireframe design, high-fidelity prototype, and finally the results of the evaluation. The evaluation process is done by 2 methods, namely user testing and expert evaluation using immersion testing by asking several experts to try the product and provide input. From the user side we get positive and negative inputs such as the use of a simple and easy to understand design, some buttons and information that is less informative, to the use of live coding features that should be given a special page. While on the expert side, the input is in the form of adding debugging flow visualization, to adding interactions in the form of threads on the discussion forum page.

Abstract

Test case prioritization is a strategy of regression testing. It can reduce the cost of regression testing. Test case prioritization based on lexicographical ordering is considered to be the best technique based on its Average Percentage Fault Detection (APFD). This technique determines test case prioritization based on coverage information of each test case. There have been no studies that implement this technique into a system and research shows that prioritizing test cases based on code coverage is expensive both in terms of time and resources. Because the more number of test cases, the greater size of the code coverage information that have to be read. Therefore, this study developed an application system for test case prioritization based on lexicographical ordering. This system aims to help the process of reading coverage information and determining test case prioritization automatically. So this system is expected to accelerate the determination of test case prioritization. The results of testing phase show that the system has 100% accuracy with reading coverage information in each test case also finding prioritization in less than 8 seconds. This paper will summarize the application system development process. The stages described from the introduction, research methodology, results and discussion, and getting conclusions from the research.

Abstract

Functional requirement is a functions that must be had in the system that is being develop. Software requirement must be able to overcome the problems that is being faced by stakeholders so that it can facilitate the work of a stakeholder. Determination of priority requirement is something that can determine which system is useful or even fails in its development. An analyst's mistake in ranking the importance of a requirement often results in failure in the development process due to problems of time and resources. Genetic algorithm is an artificial intelligence method developed to solve complex problems in various sciences, such as mathematics, physics, biology, and so on. The usage of genetic algorithm methods in the process of calculating the priority of this requirement is done by calculating the value of disagreement on a chromosome which is carried out continuously until the optimal priority requirements are obtained. The result of these methods is obtained a system that be able to calculate the priority requirements that are feasible to use as a reference in ranking system requirements priority.

Abstract

In order to complete their thesis, students need a supervisor. Thesis supervisor plays an important role as a good facilitator, motivator, and director so that the thesis can be completed and ready to be tested. The inappropriate determination of supervisors can hamper the student's thesis guidance and work process. For this reason, an effective system to reccomend thesis supervisors for students is needed to minimize errors that may occur in the determination of the thesis supervisor. The recommendations given are not only based on personal knowledge, but also consider lecturers' researches, KJFD, majors, quotas, positions, and lecturer workload. The lecturer research data used was obtained from Google Scholar, functional position data was obtained from forlap.risetdikti.go.id, and the department data, quota, and lecturer workload were obtained from the Information Systems Management, IT Infrastructure and Public Relations of Faculty of Computer Science (PSIK). The validation test results show that the system built was in accordance with the requirements defined. The usability test results that utilize the System Usability Scale (SUS) show the system usability level is 90% which means system is in the acceptable category..
