Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Balikpapan is one of the public schools in the city of Balikpapan that utilizes the website as a media to facilitate the school in matters relating to information management and support the productivity in the dissemination of information around the school. The website is rated to have poor quality based on its user experience in terms of display quality to the information that was delivered. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the website's quality using Webqual 4.0 and the IPA method to improve and maintain the quality website. Webqual 4.0 assesses the scope of the problem that includes usability, information quality, and service interaction while the IPA method is used to look at the problems that are a priority improvement. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 302 students who used the website of SMA Negeri 1 Balikpapan. The results of the study showed that there are 5 attributes included in top priorities, ease of operation, clarity of interaction, and navigation on the website as well as the display and layout of information. While the 4 attributes that are included in the low priority are the suitability of the website display type, timeliness of information, the suitability of information submitted, and the ease of communication of students and teachers through the website. The rest attribute does not have a priority fix because it has enough performance to maintain. Repair recommendations are given to attributes that go in the top and low priorities and it refer to HHS Usability Guidelines and ISO 9241-151.

Abstract

Naoyuki Academic Center is a Japanese language learning institution. Every week, Naoyuki conducts a learning agenda in accordance with the curriculum that has been prepared according to current needs. Until now, the preparation of the schedule in Naoyuki is done by using Excel and takes up to 3 days in arranging the schedule of tutors and students. Through the scheduling problem at Naoyuki, the learning scheduling management system will then be developed. This system was developed using the Object Based Approach from the Analysis to the Implementation stage. The system is implemented using the PHP programming language and the MVC concept while using the Boostrap and Laravel framework. The test results of the system using White-Box and Black-Box show that all functionalities are in accordance with the requirements specified. The test results show 100% for all White-Box test cases. And shows 100% valid for Black-Box testing of 24 functional systems. For compatibility testing all system functionality can run in some browsers but there are still problems with the appearance and performance of the system.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the dominant use of transportation at present is road-mode land transportation compared to other transportation namely sea and air transportation. Accident rates were found to be increasing, due to lack of awareness of driving safety and security. The dominant human error factor is the cause of an accident. One of the accident factors is caused by drivers who lose control, because they ignore the maximum and minimum speed limiting signs. The solution to this problem is to create a system that can recognize maximum and minimum speed limiting signs. The research applies the Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) method to obtain the characteristic feature extraction from the signs, then classifies the signs using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method. The system requires a raspberry pi camera to capture images for detection and object recognition. If the system manages to recognize the signs according to the actual conditions traversed by the driver, it will get notification of speed sign figures in the form of sound from the speakers. System testing is done based on a varied distance that is a distance of 3m, 5m, 7m, and 9m. The four distances that are the best distances in detecting speed limiting signs are 5 meters. The average result of recognition / recognition recognition accuracy using HOG method based on the best detection distance is 97.91%. Classification testing using K-NN consists of 650 training data and 48 test data obtained k = 1 and k = 2 accuracy values ​​of 97.91%, accuracy of k = 3, k = 4, and k = 5 values ​​of 95.83 %. The average time of computing the system to recognize objects 897 milliseconds.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country listed at the 61st position of 100 countries in the world based on an English proficiency index value of 50.06 that is below the average value of 53 and Indonesia is placed in the low category. This is because English learning is currently not going well. English learning can be done by using teaching strategy which is learning through educational games using electronic devices for learning words in English. In addition, statistical data show that the majority of the public is using an Android-based mobile application. Therefore in this research, the development of educational game for children through Android-based mobile devices is called Reado application. The development of this application was carried out by using the design sprint method that were tested on children from the social activities of the Katalis Pendidikan Community which consisted of 22 children. From the application of the design sprint method, based on the result of the black box testing that is 10 tests of the functional requirements have passed and have been verified, so it is stated that the Reado application has fulfill user's specific needs. In addition, based on the results of usability testing from grades 1 to 6, the results obtained that the value of the efficiency aspect has an average of 93.5% which is "good", the value of the effectiveness aspect is 0.06 which is "very good" and the value of the user satisfaction aspect 80.37 which is "good".

Abstract

Every institution such as the education system in Indonesia, even for offices certainly requires a system that can record the entire community of it's members. But in today's modern era, where technology has advanced rapidly it turns out that in some institutions in Indonesia still rely on the old presence system that is manually, such as using paper and initialing. This research makes it possible to reduce fraud by utilizing digital imagery that is face recognition in order to make a presence so that it becomes more practical, efficient, fast and certainly safe and does not happen to the detriment of any institution. In this study, a student presence system was developed based on face recognition using Local Binary Pattern and K-Nearest Neighbor method. By using the Logitech C270 webcam and the Alcatroz Stealth 5 mouse as an input producer, the Intel NUC5i7RYH Mini PC as the main processor, and 7-inch Waveshare monitor as output. Webcams produce images of students sitting in class and then processed by a Mini PC for the detection and facial recognition of each student. Obtained the names of facial recognition results that can enter the attendance list if the user (lecturer or researcher) presses the presence confirmation button on the application using the mouse. The average system accuracy of all experiments in face detection using Haar Cascade Classifier is 88.88%, in face recognition using Local Binary Pattern and K-Nearest Neighbor for k = 3 value is 78.125%, for k = 5 value is 74.375%, and for the value of k = 7 which is 68.125% so that the highest accuracy can be achieved using the value k = 3. The average computational time of all experiments in face detection is 26.2 ms while for face recognition is 371.675 ms.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto is a government agency that implements the development of information technology, but in the case of monitoring illegal access rights no record or documentation has been made. It is only handled when there has been a breakdown in the system, they have to pay concern about the safety of government information. In this research we try to measure information security management at Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto using KAMI Index version 3.1 according to the standard of ISO / IEC 27001:2013. The evaluation result of information security completeness level is 109 and maturity level of each area of information security at the level I to level I +. It shows that information security at Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto need to be improved. There are thirteen recommendations in the areas of information security governance, eight recommendations on the area of information security risk management, fifteen recommendations on areas of information security management framework, twenty four recommendations on the asset management area information, and the fourteen recommendations in the area of technology and information security. One of the recommendations for improvements by create organizational policies and procedures regarding information security using ITIL framework version 4 IT asset management practices.

Abstract

Role playing is one type of video game that people are interested in. With the abundant story provided, players can interact more freely in playing this type of game. In the preparation of this game there are also many types of frameworks, depending on what the designer wants to achieve when the game is released and starts playing. One of the most well-known and most widely applied frameworks is Mechanic, Dynamic, Aesthetic (MDA). This framework can be used in all types of video games, so sometimes many aspects are missed in its design. Therefore, in this thesis project, the design of the role playing game uses a new framework that supports the designer to be able to exploit aspects of the experience of the players in the design of the role playing game. The karma role playing game is designed using the DDE (Design, Dynamic, Experience) framework and is implemented in the GameMakerLanguage language in the GameMaker Studio video game engine. The karma game is done using the Iterative and Rapid Prototyping process model. From the design process that enters the ‘Design' stage in DDE and trials to the tester enters the ‘Experience' stage. The 'Dynamic' stage exists to bridge the 'Design' stage and the 'Experience' stage. The results are obtained when the designer can meet the satisfaction of the testers.

Abstract

Semester Antara is a intermediate semester that is held on the sidelines of even and odd semesters in each academic. Semester Antara can be used to improve grades or can take courses the next semester so that lectures become faster than Semester should be. Semester Antara registration at the Faculty of Computer Science are still manual by making payments to bank tellers and then providing proof of payment to the academic department. Registration of Semester Antara can easier when the system integrated with Midtrans. With the system, Students will be able to make payment directly by systems, and no longer went to bank nor ATM. This integration also useful to the faculty that doesn't need to cooperate with a variety of the bank, with payment gateway would connect between bank and the services provided by the faculty. To build this information system it is necessary to analyze user requirements to determine functional requirements, as well as non-functional requirements. There is system design using Object Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD). We evaluate the system design with traceability matrix, and correctness. Traceability matrix verify relation of use case, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and user interface design. The result of evaluation, there was compatibility between the needs of system and the function of system.

Abstract

People with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) are individuals, groups, and/or communities who due to an obstacle, difficulty, or disturbance, cannot carry out their social functions, so that their physical, spiritual, and social life needs cannot be fulfilled adequately and reasonably. In Malang, PMKS are handled by social service of Malang. Social service of Malang conducting raids to capture the PMKS and later placed into assessment camp. In assessment camp, social workers collect data on personal and health information from PMKS. PMKS is treated for several days or even weeks depending on physical and mental condition. In their handling, social service of Malang find several problems such as the data collection process and monitoring PMKS that were still done manually so the file was easily lost and difficult to recapitulate. Therefore, a web-based monitoring system was created to collect PMKS data and monitoring at the assessment camp. The development of the system uses the waterfall method because the requirements defined are clear. This research produces four actors, 47 functional requirements, and one non-functional requirement. The software testing uses some strategies, such a unit testing, integration testing, validation testing with 100% valid results. The results of compatibility testing indicate that the system runs in specified browser and device.
