Abstract

Soybean is a top priority crop in food and also includes a commodity that has a high protein in helping meet the nutritional needs of the community at a relatively cheap price when compared to animal protein commodities. Soybeans with a high enough protein must be able to be produced well so that people can get good protein with relatively cheap prices. With the target of increasing production that is able to meet the needs of the community, it is necessary to consider plant growing media in order to grow well. Soybean media media uses soil that has a good nutrient retreat so that it can grow well. So with this we need a system that is able to detect soil quality that will be used as a planting medium for soybean plants. This study will challenge the system that is able to improve the quality of soybean plants using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classification method by using soil pH parameters and process moisture through the soil supported by Arduino Nano boards as data processing. The classification process will be carried out by collecting data from several soil qualities, then the conversion of land is approved using a pH sensor and a Capacitive Soil sensor, the pH data of the humidity data obtained will use the K-Nearest Neighbor method. The results of the classification process will be continued through the LCD in the form of ph data and moisture results from the detected soil quality. In the process of testing the system using the K-Nearest Neighbor method with K = 3 has the highest verification that is equal to 86.6% compared to K initiating 5, 7 or 9.

Abstract

Wireless technology has begun to develop and connect with each other, so this is what makes a basis for the development of the Internet of Thing technology or abbreviated as IoT. There are several elements in helping the performance of IoT technology, one of which is in terms of communication. LoRa is a wireless transmission communication technology using Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) as a modulation technique of its delivery. LoRa uses Pure ALOHA as an access method for sending data where two or more nodes send data at the gateway without coordinating with each other, causing the risk of data collisions. In this study using the master-slave method to send data to avoid data collisions. Gateway node acts as a master whose job is to send data request messages to the sensor node. The sensor node acts as a slave whose duty is to send sensor data to the gateway node that acts as the master only if the master requests the sensor node specifically based on the slave ID that the sensor node has. Functionality and non-functional tests are carried out to test whether the system is operating properly. The smallest percentage of packet loss is experienced under test conditions at a distance of 50 meters where packet loss only occurs in the process of sending from sensor node 1 to the gateway, while the largest percentage of packet loss is experienced under test conditions at a distance of 200 meters on a 30 minute test duration of 8.99% . The smallest average delay test results are experienced in testing conditions at a distance of 200 meters with an average delay of up to 160.64 milliseconds, while the largest is experienced at a distance of 100 meters with an average delay of up to 405.67 milliseconds.

Abstract

The level of interest in cycling in Indonesia is increasing. This makes more and more bicycle communities formed. Many of the bicycle lovers who use the community as a means of selling goods related to bicycles. The buying and selling process can be done either directly or using social media and marketplace intermediaries. However, the marketing carried out is still not widespread so that the goods are difficult to sell. In addition, there is no marketplace that only sells items related to bicycles so that items are not mixed with other types of items. So that items related to bicycles will be easier to find. To overcome this right, a marketplace system was developed with the main feature of buying and selling goods related to bicycles. The Waterfall Model was chosen as the method used in this study because with this method the control of system development is more structured with the development phase which is one by one. System testing is done by white box testing and black box testing. Each technique gives valid results which means no functionality fails.

Abstract

Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is a publish / subscribe client communication protocol with the message exchange process. MQTT depends on TCP / IP as its base layer (Dinesh Thangavel, 2014) so the MQTT protocol work in realtime. In real time condition the broker must ensure all connections at the same time. However, a large number of clients connected to the broker will result in increased load on the broker. An increase in load can affect existing resources such as network bandwidth, memory, CPU usage, and throughput to overcome this problem can use a load balancing mechanism. Round robin algorithms can be used for load balancing but would be less efficient when applied to systems that use a broker with a different devices specification. Therefore, it is necessary to implement other load balancing algorithms at the MQTT broker on devices that have different specifications. The weighted least connection algorithm can be used to solve these problems because it can work by determining the weight of each broker. The parameters taken from this test include the number of connections, response time, and CPU usage. Tests are carried out with several scenarios, namely scenarios during the publish process and during the publish-subscribe process, with a predetermined amount. The result of this research is that the application of load balancing can reduce CPU usage when handling the publish-subscribe process with 1000 clients.

Abstract

Domain Specific Language (DSL) is a programming language designed to solve specific problems from a domain and has a limited syntax. This DSL can be useful for speeding up a job arrangement. By using DSL, we can determine the basic system functionality and automatically generate a source code. In the development process of web applications, especially in terms of implementation, developers are required to be able to produce a web application that is fast, and also according to the needs desired by the user or users who want to use the web. The problem that arises from the development process is that there are differences in requirements or requests, so that there is a gap between the program code and the concept, which includes modeling, generators, and the output of the system. To speed up the manufacturing process, a Domain Specific Language Development was carried out to be able to create a website with a predetermined domain, so that the development process could start more quickly. Based on these problems, a website application was developed by doing a domain analysis, using DSL, Xtext library, and the PHP programming language. This study produces a simple CRUD application to store student data which is the result of the implementation of the Domain Specific Language design. From the tests that have been carried out, the value is 100% valid on unit testing, and validation which shows that the system functions are in accordance with the design.

Abstract

Congestion is one of the main problems for big cities in Indonesia. This is influenced by the growth number of vehicles in Indonesia that are not matched by road growth. So, congestion cannot be avoided. In addition to these factors, the static traffic system in Indonesia contributes as a cause of congestion. at a traffic junction, sometimes a segment must wait for waiting time, while in other segments that intersect have no queue. So in this research of traffic light optimization system was designed using the naive bayes classifier method which was simulated using the SUMO Simulator Software and will communicated with Arduino through serial communication. In this research the density or length of the queue and each section will be used as input system that will be processed with training datas. The output system is the duration of traffic light that adjust by density in each sections. From the tests carried out, the suitability of naive bayes classifier with training datas reaches 100%. The Arduino and SUMO Simulator suitability tests reached 100% and the traffic light system optimization test using the naive bayes classifier produces a percentage of 86,66% better than the traffic system without naive bayes classifier of 15 times the side carried out.

Abstract

Agriculture is one of these sectors which is very important in helping the Indonesian economy. In addition, primary human needs also come from agriculture. The agricultural sector is also very diverse, one of which is horticulture, where the harvest is directly used to meet daily needs ranging from fruit, vegetables, or nuts. In the process, can be sure that there are not a few farmers who have the same problems as what happened to farmers in Desa Wonosari Kecamatan Tutur. The problems that are often faced by farmers in the village include, starting from who have problem lack of fund, difficulty of managing accountancy, and often got a crop failure cause of unpredictable market prices. Apart from the previously mentioned, the selection of plant medicine very influential in accordance with weather conditions therefore it required experience and information. Therefore, this research offers solutions in the form of developing agricultural processing applications especially horticulture with web-based in order to help farmers in processing horticultural agriculture by accessing information, managing accountancy, accessing the latest prices of agricultural marketing, can simulate business analysis when going to start farming according to the budget and can question answering between farmers to share experiences or just share information. System developing by Object Oriented approach with M-V-C (Model-View-Controller) concept pattern from CodeIgniter framework. The method used is Waterfall model and the database in the form of MySQL. Then, at the testing phase done by implementing functional requirement testing equipped with strategy unit and integration testing with whitebox method also validation testing with blackbox method that produces 100% valid value. As for non-functional requirement testing is done by compatibility testing using SortSide tool in order to know the system can be run on different browsers.

Abstract

This Android-based credit survey application is a mobile application designed to conduct surveys for customers who will apply for credit. The problem currently faced is that it is still using a manual survey process, so the survey data collection process takes longer. The purpose of making this credit survey application is to simplify and speed up the collection of survey data, so that survey data can be evaluated more quickly. The method used in making this credit survey application uses the prototyping development method. Application programming using java programming with Android studio IDE software, then for the database using PHP and mySQL. The result from making this application is that the application can display customers who will be surveyed, then retrieve survey data and send data to be stored in the database.

Abstract

Understanding the importance of control over various aspects of conducting an assignment in completing a goal, good management is needed so that the assignment can run as expected. Management is needed as a principle to do every planning, there are several factors that make management must be done in the assignment. Completion of various assignments that require generalization so that workmanship can be well organized. In addition, control in terms of time, priority, and minor assignments becomes a necessity in management so that the assignment work can be in line with expectations. Projects can be used as applications in doing assignments due to collaborative work and planning involvement in achieving a goal. The management system is expected to be a place and facility to help the management of assignments to be better from the beginning of the process until the end. The system will be built based on a website so that it can be accessed through hardware such as laptops or smartphones. The results of the research using a questionnaire are divided into users who have not and already know a team-collaboration based system, from the responses received and calculated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, it is found that users who do not know the team-collaboration based system get average an average score of 65 and users who already know a team-collaboration-based system get an average value of 74.2.

Abstract

There are many routing protocols used in the current network topology. EIGRP, IS-IS and OSPF are examples of routing protocols in a network topology. each of these routing protocols has different algorithm to communicate and also has different ways of working algorithms. Therefore, additional methods such as route redistribute are given so that different protocols can communicate in a topology. In this research, an analysis related to the route redistribute method to find which routing protocol has the best performance in the same network topology. This study uses the Graphical Network Simulator 3 or (GNS3) and uses a hierarchical topology. The scenario is to send an ICMP PING packet from source to destination to observe the round-trip time and convergence time. The results showed that each routing protocol can be run by the route redistribute method. The IS-IS protocol has a round-trip time of 531.4 milliseconds and a convergence time of 158.2 seconds that makes time is the lowest time compared to other protocols and proves that the ISIS protocol is able to work well on the route redistribute method.
