Abstract

Stocks is a tool for buying or selling transactions in the capital market. In trading, the investor always wants profits that have low risk of failure. Therefore, an analysis is needed to get recommendations that support the stock. The results of the analysis will provide recommendations that can be used by investors to buy shares, wait, or sell their stock. Classification algorithm can used for analysis, one of them is Learning Vector Quantization. The technical approach factors that become parameters in this study consist of opening price, highest price, lowest price, closing price, volume, adj. closed, and the proportion of changes. In this study, the researcher used the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) 2.1 algorithm. The process starts with the initialization of data input. Then do the normalization process. Determine the winning network, update its weight and reduce the value of α, until it reaches a certain epoch or value. Tests was performed using several parameters to determine the effect of those parameters on accuracy. The best test was obtained by using training data as much as 175 training data, the value of learning rate is 0.1 and 1000 iteration produced an accuracy value of 63.64%.

Abstract

Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar is a type B hospital located in the city of Makassar. Faisal Makassar Islamic hospital has 22 facilities, 12 health services and is supported by 227 nurses in running the health service. to maximize health services, quality of nurses and improve the quality of nursing Faisal Islamic hospitals, then nurses are managed with activities in the valuation of promotion. The promotion of nurses is done to know the results of the achievements of nurses in service, nurses perfomances in service and to raise wages and nurse allowance. Rank valuation is done by collecting credit numbers and documents of nurse work will be accumulated in assessment activities carry out manually. the head of nurses and human resources at the Faisal Islamic Hospital assessed that the assessment activities carried out were still not effective, In activities, there are often errors in the data on the work of nurses that are not measured and the slowness in the process of accumulating credit and documents on the results of nurses' work. The development of a rank valuation management system is expected in solving problems by using web-based technology in system creation. The research was conducted by knowing the needs of the system, system design and implementation of web-based systems with waterfall methods. there are 3 actors in the role and 56 functional ones that will be tested on unit testing, integration, validation and compatibility. the test results show the level of testing is 100% successful and valid.

Abstract

The Department of Communication and Information Technology of Malang City is a government organization that is engaged in data and information processing for the public or other government agencies, which has implemented the use of IT in its processes. So that they have to carry out IT management/management activities, which after the interview arose the problem of how the current management is preparing to deal with IT developments. Starting from prioritizing which IT management/governance processes should be prepared first. COBIT 2019 has a Design Factor process that main purposes is to find out which processes are crucial for the organization (along with the target level) to focus on. The researcher saw that the Design Factor process was in accordance with the problem at the Department. Then the Design Factor process was carried out to the department with the final result of the focus process being BAI11 with a target of level 3. Then it was evaluated according to COBIT 2019 and the level of BAI11 was 2 (gap of 1 from the target). Then the formulation of recommendations to bridge the gap is carried out with the final result of 4 recommendations.

Abstract

Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy is a protocol based on dynamic cluster tree topology. This protocol can rotate the role of the cluster head periodically, which aims to evenly distribute the load between nodes, thereby increasing the lifetime of the wireless sensor network. Several studies have been conducted on the LEACH, but these studies only implemented the LEACH protocol using network simulation. In this study, the authors implement the LEACH on a real Arduino-based system and nRF24L01 as a data transmission module. This protocol will be compared with protocols based on static clustering. The node module uses Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V, and the base station uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller. LEACH protocol testing is done by monitoring the data received from all nodes through the base station's serial monitor. The data sent from the node is the average current from each node. the test was carried out for one hour, so that the current value used per hour was obtained. With this value, lifetime predictions can be made with a certain battery size. In this case, the battery size used is 1000mAh. The results of the lifetime testing of the system using the the static clustering protocol only lasted about 40 hours, while the results of the lifetime testing of the system using the LEACH protocol have an average lifetime of about 88 hours and 53 minutes, which is an increase by more than twice the lifetime.

Abstract

The eldelry is a person aged 60 years or older (Republik Indonesia, 1998). They have different body conditions from adult humans in general. As stated in (Kementerian Kesehatan RI, 2013), the complications are usually suffered by the eldelry are hypertension, stroke, diabetes, arthritis or rheumatism. The tardiness of treatment conduces in other system disruption and decreases daily activities (Naryani P & Kartinah, 2009). Therefore, a great family role is required so that the elderly can spend the rest of their lives greatly and increase their life expectancy. The use of elderly health monitoring application can assist the family in providing health services. This study aimed to design a user experience on the elderly health monitoring application, so it is expected to provide comfort. The method used to design the user experience of the application is Human-Centered Design, while the evaluation used a heuristic evaluation involving 4 assessors. In this study, the evaluation of the solution design went through 2 stages, the first evaluation stage was finding problems, then the second stage was a consolidation process to discuss the answers obtained from each evaluator into a single unit. The evaluation results obtained 22 problems, where these problems will be repaired based on the highest to the lowest severity ratings.

Abstract

Speech recognition research with end-to-end model-based bidirectional RNN approach still has the constraint on high latency. speech recognition model which was built using end-to-end models still have some problems at error spelling. Also, speech recognition model is very sensitive to dialecta and types of equipment recorder speakers. This work will examine the behavior of the network in studying the acoustic features based on gradient and loss with the use of unidirectional base GRU CTC which has lower cost of computation compared to the base bidirectional RNN CTC. This study did not use the language model in helping to model the acoustics in the mapping of the acoustic signal. Using the data in the audio translation of the Quran in the dialect and Bahasa Indonesia, the data extracted using the MFCC to obtain acoustic features. Batch Normalization is also used on the GRU network to avoid covariate-shift between the layers of the network. The network consists of three-layers network MLP with activation function ReLU and forwarded with a layer of unidirectional GRU. After passing through the GRU, the data will be processed on the SLP with the function of the activation of softmax where the results will be input on the CTC. The network is optimized using Adam optimizer and generate 90.611 % WER of the best model tested. The network has a vanishing gradient and results in the slow process of learning the network in recognizing the acoustic signal. The use of unidirectional GRU base also has no big significance in the delay layer to expose the temporal information.

Abstract

KER is an e-government service for the Malang City government through the Malang City Information and Communication Office. KER is an integration of various public service applications to realize services in one hand. However, in its use, KER has several problems experienced by its users. Based on the problems found, researchers evaluated and designed user interface improvements to KER. Evaluation was carried out by measuring the success rate and time-based efficiency of 5 respondents using a task scenario then measuring the usability value obtained through the USE questionnaire (Usefulness, Satisfaction, and Ease of Use) filled out by 20 respondents after using the system. The approach used in the design is Human Centered Design. The designs produced in this study are a wireframe and a hi-fidelity prototype. In the initial evaluation, it was found that the success rate was 86.6%, the time-based efficiency was 0.05 goals / sec and the usability value was 65%. After improving the user interface design, a re-evaluation is carried out and it produces a success rate of 100%, a time-based efficiency of 0.01 goals / sec and a usability value of 82%. After the design improvement of the user interface design is carried out, an evaluation of the design improvement is carried out and results in a success rate of 100%, a time-based efficiency of 0.01 goals / sec and a usability value of 82%. Based on the results of the evaluation of user interface improvements, the improvements increase the usability value of the system.

Abstract

Golek Bis (GOBIS) Suroboyo is a public service application developed by the Surabaya Transportation Department (DISHUB Surabaya) in 2018 to improve the commuter experience with the public transportation networks. Although this application has been downloaded more than 100 thousand times by Android users in Indonesia, various users' complaints can still be found on the review page. The problem is strengthened by the interview data from several GOBIS Application users. They complain about the experience of dealing with uncertainty, difficulty finding the nearest bus stop, and feeling annoyed with appearing pop-up messages every time they return to the main page. Therefore, usability testing was carried out using the design thinking method to gain a deeper understanding of the problem and improve the design solution by considering the eight golden rules. The evaluation is measured based on three usability aspects: effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction, which will be conducted in two stages, and then the results will be compared. After the research has completed, the effectiveness aspect increased to 100% on the whole task, the efficiency aspect increased ranging from 1.2 to 7.35 times faster, and the user satisfaction aspect increased ranging from 1.25 to 3.1 times better in the comparison of both evaluations of GOBIS Suroboyo Bus application.

Abstract

Niagara Rafting is a website developed by Niagara Adventure to display a profile of Niagara Rafting and find out what products and services are offered. Based on the results of interviews with users, it is known that there are problems related to usability aspects, namely learnability and satisfaction. Since the first time the website released, the evaluation carried out by Niagara Rafting was limited to the functionality and did not pay attention to the usability aspect of the user interface to overcome the usability problems that were found. Heuristic evaluation is a method for conducting usability testing properly because it involves an expert who has a deep understanding of usability as an evaluator in this study. Each usability problem found will be given a severity rating from 0 to 4. There are 2 stages of heuristic evaluation, namely early stage heuristic evaluation and late stage heuristic evaluation. The initial heuristic evaluation carried out an assessment of the original object, namely the Niagara Rafting website and found 18 usability problems. Recommendations for improvement are made in the form of a high-fidelity prototype by taking into account the recommendations provided by the evaluators and guidelines. The final heuristic evaluation carried out an assessment of the improvement design resulting in 3 usability problems and there were old usability problems, but the severity rating value was reduced from 4 to 2 and from 2 to 1.

Abstract

Balai Besar Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru (BBTNBTS) as a Technical Implementation Unit from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has management plan centered around TNBTS area that aims to lay the operational foundation for the management of natural conservation areas in a systematic, focused and integrated manner. BBTNBTS has a letter management activity to support the implementation of those program plan. Letter management activities are still carried out manually to this date, causing several problems, such as the increased risk of losing data recorded in the agenda book, as well as difficulties in searching for specific mail data, monitoring the status of mail processing, and recapitulation of letters. Based on these problems, the solution that can be applied is to develop a correspondence management information system that can be a means to facilitate staff in managing incoming and outgoing letters at BBTNBTS. The web-based information system is built using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) approach, using the PHP programming language that utilizes the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. Validation and compatibility tests are also performed to ascertain that the system is feasible to use.
