Abstract

The current academic system in schools still uses the traditional way, which is still using books as a means of recording. The large number of students starting from grade 1 to grade 3 made the school staff in the administration and discipline department experience problems when backing up data. The data still cannot be processed automatically, so students who need academic information must wait for the data to be processed. This raises several problems, one of which is when students want to get academic and administrative information. Students take a long time and have to find the teacher and staff concerned. Teachers have problems making copies of data for backup when books or data are lost or damaged. Based on the problems found, an information system is designed that will facilitate the process of managing student data by teachers and staff and facilitate the provision of academic information for students. The design carried out in this study only displays an interface for the user of the student actor. In testing user interaction and information system interfaces, the sample uses student actors and 6 respondents are obtained. The user interaction trial on the interface that was built was acceptable to the user and resulted in a score of 75% (Agree).

Abstract

One of the problems of SMEs to apply technology is the cost of making technology media which is still relatively expensive. Mamina is one of the SMEs in the service sector that provides breastfeeding consulting services. In addition, Mamina also provides other related needs such as prescribing drugs, counselors and so on. In this study, the creation of a website-based SME business monitoring system was carried out. The system development stage includes the stages of needs analysis, implementation, and testing with three types of website users, namely admins, counselors, and patients, to manage and manage business data. The implementation process uses the PHP programming language in the codeigniter framework and mysql in the database section, using the waterfall model method which produces thirty functional requirements, one non-functional requirement. Then the testing step consists of several tests such as functional and non-functional testing. Functional testing consists of unit testing that successfully runs a test path based on three test cases, integration testing on the method obtains a valid status and gets a 100% valid value on validation and compatibility testing.

Abstract

Publication articles are contained in journals published by universities or colleges and many are also published by institutions providing national and international journals. Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science (JTIIK) is one of several journals that accept publication articles based on the principle of open dissemination of publications to advance science, especially in the IT field. JTIIK itself is managed by the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya and started publishing journals in 2014. At JTIIK, the author categorises Publication Articles manually by the author when submitting the manuscript or by the editor during the review and editing process. Therefore, there is a need for automatic grouping of Published Articles documents. The focus of this study is to determine the application of the Improved K-Nearest Neighbor method in the classification of the title of JTIIK Publication Articles. This research was carried out in several processes: Preprocessing, Word Weighting, Feature Selection, Cosine Similarity, and classification with Improved K-Nearest Neighbor. Testing the value of k and using feature selection with K-Fold Cross Validation, the results of changing the value of k and the application of feature selection affect the evaluation results of Improved K-Nearest Neighbor, with a value of k = 5 and feature selection with a threshold DF = 1 as the optimal parameter. Tests with all data resulted in Accuracy of 90.00%, F-measure of 85.78%, Recall of 87.58% and Precision of 84.40%.

Abstract

“Suzuki Katang” Motorcycle Dealer is one of the Suzuki brand motorcycle distributors located in Kediri City which was founded in 2010. In its business process, namely bookkeeping, before using Microsoft Excel, dealers used the manual method using a notebook. In addition, they have also used the google form but it is not effective because they have to access a different google form for other types of data. If the service process does not run smoothly it will leave a bad score for the buyer. In addition, every month an evaluation is usually held by an official dealer. Which, if the evaluation of service evaluation and presentation of sales reports is not satisfactory, it will affect the capacity of the unit that can be ordered by the dealer as well as the limited cooperation carried out with other authorized dealers. From these issues, it is important to foster a business data framework for better information the executives. The motivation behind this exploration is to foster a business data framework in the form of a web using Javascript and utilize the Firebase Realtime Database service. System requirements analysis session totals 12 requirements functionality and 1 non-functionality. In testing, using validation testing to users for the overall system function testing results are 100% valid. Non-functionality testing uses the Framework Usability Scale (SUS) technique which is acquired from polls that have been replied by respondents from Suzuki Katang business representatives. From the consequences of the tests did, it was tracked down that the classification was acceptable and the adjective rating was OK with a value of 74, 2.

Abstract

Some areas do not have adequate internet connectivity due to large delays and high loss rates on the network. These problems can be solved by applying the concept of Delay Tolerant Network (DTN). DTN has advantages in overcoming networks with low connectivity, large delays and high loss rates. In DTN network there is Multi-Copy routing which can increase data transmission speed and reduce delay, but this routing model requires more network resources such as buffer size. Optimizing the buffer space can be overcome by adding buffer management and Packet Priority, while the Stationary Relay Node can be used to increase the possibility of sending messages successfully. The research applies the Multi-Copy routing protocol by adding buffer management Last In First Out, Stationary Relay Node and Packet Priority simulating it with ONE simulator. Tests were carried out on Spray and Wait, Epidemic and MaxProp routing using three test parameters, namely Overhead Ratio, Delivery Probability and Latency Average. The test results show that the Spray and Wait routing performance is more optimal than other routing protocols with an Overhead Ratio value of 5.1298 with the Stationary Relay and Delivery Probability of 94.93% in a 5MB buffer with Stationary Relay. Meanwhile, the lowest Latency Average value is in MaxProp routing of 993.8513 seconds without the addition of a Stationary Relay Node.

Abstract

Indonesian governments have launched PSBB policy to emphasize the growth rate of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. This caused a variety of responses from the public, one of them on social media Twitter. public opinion contained on social media Twitter, can help the government to know how the public opinion about psbb policy in Indonesia. This study tried to analyze the public's response about PSBB policy on social media Twitter, through sentiment analysts and classified into three classes, namely positive, negative, and neutral. By using Naive Bayes classification method and Improved Gini Index (IGI) feature selection to reduce the number of features in the classification process. The process on sentiment analysis consists of preprocessing, feature selection using the Improved Gini Index (IGI) method, and classification with Naive Bayes. The results of Naive Bayes classification test without feature selection obtained accuracy of 64%, while the results of classification accuracy test with feature selection using six different threshold values obtained the highest accuracy results at the threshold value of 30%, where there are 70% of the total terms removed and obtained accuracy of 68%.

Abstract

Pagerngumbuk is a village located in Wonoayu, Sidoarjo. The total population is approximately 3118 people consisting of 1,434 men, 1,684 women, and 920 families spread over 3 hamlets. In Pagerngumbuk Village, there are letter processing services, aspiration complaints services, and village's informations. Problems arise if the Headmen is not at the office because he is on duty outside the city for a long time. Another problem that arises is that there are residents who cannot process documents due to work constraints or living outside the city. Based on the existing problems, a web-based system has developed that can accommodate the residents in conveying aspirations/complaints, managing letters, and delivering village's information in an integrated manner. The system is built using the Waterfall model which then produces 5 types of actors, 69 functional requirements, and 1 non-functional requirement. Whitebox testing uses unit testing of 3 functionals resulting in each path that has been defined can be passed. Blackbox testing uses validation and user acceptance testing, each test produces a 100% valid value. Then compatibility testing on non-functional requirements found several major and minor issues when the system was accessed with an old version browser, but it did not affect on functionality.

Abstract

Al Ghifari Mosque is one of the mosques in Lowokwaru District, Malang City. Al Ghifari Mosque management consists of activity management and financial management. Activity Management consists of managing information on routine activities, prayer schedules, and incidental activities. Financial management consists of recording the mosque's financial income and expenditure. The problem with the misuse of Al Ghifari Mosque's activity management is the publication of activity information on social media, namely Instagram and Facebook. Lack of information delivery using Instagram and Facebook not all information about activities can be conveyed and only people with these social media get the information. One of the problems in the financial management of the Al Ghifari Mosque is the recording of financial income and expenditure which is recorded using a book. The disadvantage of recording financial statements using manual books is that they are lost or damaged. To solve the existing problems, a web-based mosque management information system was developed. The development of this system uses the waterfall model and uses an object-oriented approach, and is built using the CodeIgniter framework. The system has been tested using unit testing, integration, and validation. Unit and integration testing uses white-box testing techniques, and tests are validated using black-box testing techniques with each test being 100% valid. This system can be run on various browsers, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. The result of this research is a web-based mosque management information system.

Abstract

Soil Physics Laboratory is one of five laboratories that are located in Soil Major, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University. The objective of this laboratory is to support laboratory practicum and Soil students' research. Management of laboratory equipment inventory, laboratory equipment loan data, laboratory equipment loan return, and credit score is still done manually via microsoft word, microsoft excel, and paper. The problem is the laboratory assistant is in difficulty to recap forms and documents because it is still done manually. Based on the known problems, laboratory equipment management information system is needed so it will ease the laboratory assistant's work in the management of equipment inventory, equipment loan, and credit score. This research uses Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall, so the process of development can be done easier and gradually. Requirement analysis and design phase generates UML diagrams. The framework that is used on the implementation phase is CodeIgniter 4. Result of the validation testing shows that all the features of the system can be run well and valid. Compatibility testing's result shows that the system doesn't have any compatibility problems on various browsers. Result of SUS shows that the final grade of usability is good and can be accepted by all actors.

Abstract

Management is an important sector in performing a task. One of the agencies that use management to perform a task is CV. Cheleron Productions. Currently CV. Cheleron Production has several problems in task management which lie in the absence of a place for integration of existing job data, no monitoring of work progress, no task scheduling, and no special format for work. Therefore, it takes a task management application that is expected to help CV. Cheleron Production solves these problems. This application can be developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall Model using an Object-oriented (OO) approach to the analysis and design process. Development is carried out with an Android-based implementation using the Java programming language. Testing is done by unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing. Unit testing is carried out using one of the White-box testing methods, namely Basis Path Testing, integration testing is carried out using Top-down Integration Testing, and validation testing is carried out using the Black-box method.
