Abstract

Health is measuring the human condition itself based on mental and physical conditions. Health conditions can be determined by measuring their vital signs, namely heart rate and body temperature. One of the most important organs for humans that will be fatal if exposed to disease is the lungs. The use of wearable devices to check these important organs will be easy. The use of wearable devices that are used in daily activities will not last long if they use battery power. For this reason, the system utilizes the low power method to save the power used. This sleep mode feature will be implemented in a system that can monitor the state of the human body through temperature, heart rate and blood oxygen levels. In the heart rate reading test, the percentage of error during normal conditions is 9.42% and during exercise is 5.99%. In the temperature reading test, the error percentage is 2.44%. Sleep mode on the system is able to reduce current by 22.29% from 34.36 mA to 26.7 mA.

Abstract

In this millennial era, self-care, especially in the hair area, is the main factor that is often considered by men in terms of appearance. Coupled with the rise of the barbershop business which is very much in demand by men today (Safa'at & Muttaqien, 2015). During this pandemic, people are worried and afraid when they want to cut their hair. The reason is the high rate of transmission of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) and the unexpected way of transmission. There are many barbershop locations in Malang City that are still open during this pandemic. Some of these places have complied with the health protocol following Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07/MENKES/382/2020 for hair care services and the like. However, some are still open even without complying with health protocols. Therefore, the development of a barbershop recommendation system is needed to assist users in choosing a barbershop in Malang City that applies health protocols. This recommendation system was developed using the Simple Additive Weighting method as a decision-making system. In the use of the SAW method, there are criteria used, namely distance, price, assessment, and the value of health protocols. The test for this barbershop recommendation system uses black-box testing to test the level of functionality with 100% valid results, then algorithm validation testing with a comparison of manual calculations that obtain 100% valid results, and usability testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) approach by obtaining an average value of 77,5 or can be converted as Grade B in the Grade Scale category, Acceptable in the Acceptability Ranges category, and Good in the Adjective Rating category.

Abstract

AMF-HAQ is a construction and consulting company in Tangerang City which is engaged in civil engineering. In this company there is a logistics and purchasing division which is held by the warehouse manager. In the process of requesting goods, the project head of staff will make a request and submit it to the warehouse staff. The warehouse staff will submit the request to the warehouse manager, then the warehouse manager will approve the request. If the request for the goods is approved and there are some goods that are out of stock in the warehouse, the goods purchase process will be carried out. Until now, the entire process at the AMF-HAQ company is still done manually. All activities still use paper notes and Microsoft Excel. Meanwhile, the delivery of information regarding the tools for project fulfillment is still done verbally and there is no clear record. As a result of the manual process, problems arise such as frequent misinformation that causes inefficient use of construction equipment, slightly less effective employee performance, delays in project work, long project work and increased costs. This research will build an android-based logistics and purchasing management application with the waterfall method. From the test results, it was found that the unit test with the basis path got a value of 100%, then the validation test on 44 functional requirements obtained a value of 100% valid function. Meanwhile, for usability testing, it obtained a satisfactory score from the average respondent. And in the compatibility test on 3 android devices, namely on Android OS 5, 9, and 10.

Abstract

Pasuruan City is one of the small cities in East Java province. Pasuruan City has a variety of tourist and culinary attractions, and this city has grown rapidly to have many inns and shopping centers. Not a few tourists come to this city to enjoy tourist attractions and culinary delights, as well as for the people themselves to enjoy all the facilities provided in Pasuruan City. The city is quite up-to-date on its website and all social media with the latest news in Pasuruan City. However, of all the sites and social media, the City of Pasuruan does not yet have a special site for mapping the City of Pasuruan which displays various facilities in the form of a map. Therefore, the author builds a Geographic Information System for Pasuruan City by displaying various facilities in Pasuruan City. The method used in the construction of this system is the method waterfall. The results of this study are a-based geographic information system webGIS that has passed the test with results of 93.07% for admin users, and 83.71% for general public users. It can be concluded that this system can be used properly by the entire community of Pasuruan City.

Abstract

Book lending is a service that enables customers to make the best possible use of the library's holdings. However, several libraries that lend books have been shuttered as a result of the large number of instances of Covid-19 distribution.. Due of the restricted availability of books for borrowing, adaptive methods are required to combat the Covid-19 epidemic in the modern digital age. With response to these issues, a mobile application for online book lending was created in the goal of resuming online book lending. The application provides lending services for both paper and digital books. This program was designed in collaboration with stakeholders that lend books in Malang, namely the Rumah Baca Cerdas Malang. To provide a positive user experience, a Human-Centered Design method is employed, which focuses on the broad user's requirements and involves stakeholders and potential users. Usability and user experience tests were used to evaluate the solution design with ten individuals. The effectiveness of the usability test is 88.6 percent, the efficiency is 0.131 goals/second, and the user satisfaction is 88.5 percent with an A grade. The findings of user experience testing conducted using the user experience questionnaire (UEQ) achieve good benchmark scores in all categories, including attractiveness 2.52, clarity 2.65, efficiency 2.53, accuracy 2.48, stimulation 2.38, and novelty 1.70..

Abstract

COVID-19 affects consumers' lifestyles, especially in ordering food online. Ordering food online is like using an online food ordering service application. The obstacle faced by this lifestyle is the wastage of food costs. Another obstacle is that there are consumers who do not have time to prepare food independently in order to reduce costs. This can be accomplished with alternatives such as daily meal ordering which prepares scheduled breakfast and lunch at affordable prices. Therefore we need a system that can help bring together daily catering providers and their customers. The system that is built must have high mobility so that it has easy access. In this study, two Android-based applications that are integrated with each other will be built. Determination of functional requirements or application features applying the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) methodology. The development flow follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall. Functional requirements testing using the black box testing method with validation testing techniques. Non-functional testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire method produces an average SUS scale value of 80.5 for usability in customer applications and 66 for usability in vendor applications. With this application, it can help connect daily catering providers with customers in an efficient and integrated manner.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on society. Interaction restrictions lead to the accessibility of public services, including public health services. Currently, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya has conducted an online hearing screening process. However, it still does not meet the needs of doctors. The author initiated a research entitled "Development of Web-Based Health Service Applications for Hearing Screening (Case Study: Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya)". The author chooses to use Clean Architecture by considering the ease of developing applications without the need to focus on a particular framework. The application is developed on the web so that it can be accessed through a browser. There are 3 tests, namely: functional testing, compatibility testing, and usability testing. In functional testing has been achieved 100% valid. The patient actor usability test got an A+ grade, the doctor actor got a C grade, and the Admin actor got an A grade. Compatibility testing has been running well on Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox browsers.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) devices are physical devices that are connected to each other through the internet. IoT devices have limitations on storage and computing capabilities so that various problems arise such as reliability, performance, scalability, security, and privacy. To overcome these problems, IoT devices can be integrated with cloud computing. However, from this integration there are other problems, namely the performance problem of computing due to the increasing number of connected devices, so a research is proposed in the form of developing IoT-Cloud by utilizing serverless computing. Serverless computing has auto-scaling capabilities so there is no need to manually re-adjust the server. The development of this platform is carried out in the cloud so that all parties who want to access must be connected to the internet and have a service account. GCP is used to build this platform, the features used are Authentication which serves to authenticate users, Functions in the form of a serverless framework that acts as a backend and subscriber, Firestore acts as a data storage place, and Hosting as a platform for deployment. Then there is Google Cloud IoT Core which acts as a broker so that IoT devices can send data to Google Cloud IoT Core which will then be channeled to subscribers. From the development tests that have been carried out, the results show that the platform can accept all incoming requests without any problems, this is due to the nature of serverless computing in the form of auto-scaling.

Abstract

Building and developing a clothing brand business to become a huge business is not easy. Clothing brand kyouka is a clothing brand business that has not been formed for a long time. The challenge of creating a clothing brand business is caused not only by competitors, but also by the difficulties of a business in delivering its items to its intended consumers. Good product marketing is one of the determining factors for a business's development, and in this digital era, marketing via social media has become a demand. According to the survey, 45 percent of social media users in Indonesia buy products they see on the Instagram platform, which has 61 million users. An augmented reality application based on social media filters will be built to advertise the Kyouka brand clothes company product based on these issues. The project is being developed on the Spark AR platform, which is an augmented reality filter platform that can be easily connected to social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook via the FixTargetTracker function. The development's outcomes are expected to boost the brand's image and increase consumer interest in Kyouka clothes. Software Testing will be used to assess the application's performance and usefulness for clothing product that have been given augmented reality. The test earned a 100% application on validation test, results from 39 respondents' usability testing got a value of 4.31 as well as increased interest up to 270 consumers, which is a very good result, and the UEQ benchmark results where the attractiveness aspect receives a value of 1.98, perspicuity receives a value of 1.73, efficiency receives a value of 1.71, dependability receives a score of 1.48, stimulation receives a score of 1.70, and novelty receives a score of 1.74, where the benchmark findings were highly.

Abstract

The library is a facility provided by SMP Plus Al-Kautsar to support the teaching and learning process. One of the services provided at this library is circulation services. However, in the implementation of these services, there are several obstacle, including difficulities in managing and finding data which results in the work of officers being less efficient. In addition, there are also obstacles to obtaining collection information and the availability of books in the library. Based on these problems, this study aims to build library information system that can assist the data management process and improve the efficiency of circulation services. The development model that used in this study is the waterfall model which includes the stage of requirement analysis and definition, system design, implementation and system testing. The requirements analysis phase produces 42 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. System design produces documentation of object modeling and object interaction in UML notation, database design, algorithms, and user interfaces. The implementation phase produces an information system that is built by applying the model-view-controller pattern. Testing is conducted using validation testing and compatibility testing to determine that the system is running according to user needs and is able to run in various browser applications. Validation test results show valid values in 13 test cases. While the compatibility test results show that there is 1 major issue and 3 minor issues caused by some browser applications not supporting the CSS properties used.
