Abstract

In online learning situations, appropriate learning strategies are needed to deliver learning materials to students and how to motivate students when carrying out online learning. This research is a quantitative type of causality analysis. This study seeks to find out the relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning outcomes, the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes, and the relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning motivation together on learning outcomes. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was distributed and filled out online. The number of respondents was 131 students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at SMKN 2 Singosari. This study uses the product moment correlation test to prove the hypothesis. The results showed that (1) there was no positive and significant relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning outcomes based on a significance value of 0.414 > 0.05; (2) there is no positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes based on a significance value of 0.798 > 0.05; (3) there is no positive and significant relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning motivation with learning outcomes based on a significance value of 0.702 > 0.05.

Abstract

Pandemics in the era of globalization require MSMEs to be able to maintain their existence amid the onslaught of the global economy, so they must have a good marketing strategy. Based on data quoted from Kompas news media, every month Tiktok managed to have 14.3 million new active users so it is predicted to have more than one billion monthly active users in May 2022. TikTok's growth will gradually move into commercialized social media and allow its users to earn revenue from in-app purchases, so TikTok can be considered a fairly ideal platform for marketing products. Unfortunately, not many MSMEs are familiar with product marketing through TikTok due to lack of information, there are still few courses that discuss Tiktok marketing, especially in Indonesian and there are still few tools that can help MSMEs in creating content marketing. The method used in this study is human-centered design because this research has a focus on solving problems about lack of knowledge, lack of learning facilities for MSMEs about Tiktok marketing, and lack of tools that can help MSMEs. This method is considered suitable because it is successfully applied to previous studies with good evaluation results. The final result of this study is a high-fidelity prototype that will be used to conduct usability testing. From the test obtained the results of the effectiveness aspect with completion rate metric 83.57%, overall relative efficiency aspect of 100% and time-based efficiency 0.135 goals/sec, and aspects of user satisfaction using the SUS questionnaire of 83.5.

Abstract

Management of alumni data at SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak is still done manually, namely by printing in the form of alumni books or class books. By using a printed book, the stored data cannot be changed. Alumni need the latest information from the school, for example cases when alumni who have just graduated want to take care of administration to schools such as legalizing diplomas and SKHU. Based on these problems, an alumni data collection information system was built using an iterative model. Data was collected by interviewing and observing PKU teachers as well as technicians at SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The needs analysis was compiled based on the results of follow-up interviews with the same teacher and a number of 2017 and 2019 alumni. In each iteration, the system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. The implementation uses the MVC (Model, View, Controller) concept with the third version of the CodeIgniter framework. Furthermore, using black-box testing with 17 functional requirements tested and the results are smooth and 100% valid. In the first iteration User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing was carried out on alumni who showed a Likert scale value of 347. In the second iteration User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was carried out for admins and students. The Likert scale value for admin is 50 and for students is 320. The level of user approval for the system is 92.5% for alumni, 100% for teachers, and 85.3% for students, which means this system can be accepted by the school, alumni, and student.

Abstract

Software-Defined Networking or SDN is an architecture on a network that has manageable and adaptable properties, this will provide advantages when implementing it. Various examples of network applications that can be applied to SDN, for example is routing. With regard to routing, the routing path will be more efficient when the routing path that has been built can vary according to the actual situation on a network. So that if a problem arises such as a path failure on the active path or the path is not in accordance with the standard, then the path will always use the existing alternative path. The reactive nature of routing will make it easier for network administrators to monitor the network. In its application, routing needs an algorithm to find a path. In this research, Yen's algorithm is used to find alternative paths. The test is conducted to find out how the performance of alternative path search and the performance of Yen's algorithm is. The test results show that the response time test for searching paths under normal conditions gets an average of 6.245 seconds while for alternative route searches it gets an average of 50,825 seconds. Furthermore, for testing the recovery time gets an average of 159.68 seconds. Then the packet loss test obtained a value of 58.2%. The convergence time test does not show a significant difference based on the average results obtained on the normal path, which is 0.030 seconds and the average on the alternative path is 0.036 seconds.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a network formed by several sensor nodes and wirelessly connected to each other with the limitations of each node. One of the limitations of the resources contained in the WSN node is the communication media. This causes WSN to require a data communication method with low resource usage. The nRF24L01 module is designed of being implemented in a wireless network that has low resources, so that it can be applied to a WSN network. The nRF24L01 module will broadcast or broadcast at an address to transmit data. Then, to receive data, a listen process is carried out so that it can be received by devices that are at the same address as the sender. This causes a security hole when a device is intended to send data to the desired device only. For this reason it is necessary to have a mechanism that can ensure the security of ongoing data communications. The SPECK algorithm has been tested on both hardware and software by the National Security Agency (NSA). The SPECK algorithm has been optimized to run on the software. Users can implement SPECK Cipher by considering the application and hardware required without compromising performance. The purpose of the SPECK algorithm itself is to provide the flexibility and performance characteristics required by developers. The implementation of the SPECK algorithm on the system makes this system resistant to both passive and active attacks.

Abstract

The quality of human life will develop along with the development of technology. The results of the application of technology indicate an increase in the quality of life in the field of education such as the emergence of applications for mobile devices that have an impact on teachers in the field of education, such as when supervising learning. The application of technology by taking photo and or video documentation takes place separately, but this causes the need for more efforts to compile data on the results of activities. This encourages the authors to develop applications for mobile devices as a solution. Application development uses the scrum software development method with iterative characteristics. The stages of application development include a requirements analysis consisting of a general description of the system, identification of actors, numbering rules, a list of functional requirements, a list of functional requirements specifications, a list of non-functional requirements, and requirements modeling; then design and implementation which consists of designing sequence diagrams, class diagrams, database design and implementation, program code, and interfaces. The results of application development are application artifacts for mobile devices that have gone through four tests, namely blackbox with valid results for all functional requirements, portability with valid results for three functional requirements on three system versions, compatibility with valid results for three interfaces on three screen versions, and usability with feedback from three users.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest fish producing countries in the world. One of the fish that is in demand in Indonesia from various circles of society is catfish. Therefore, the way to increase catfish production is to maintain the quality of pond water used for catfish farming. The quality of water used for catfish farming is very influential on the growth of catfish. Using a monitoring system can help to monitoring the water quality of catfish ponds so that catfish growth can be optimal. In this study, a catfish pond water quality monitoring system was created which consists of three nodes slave and one node master and uses a webserver as an interface. Each node slave has two sensors, a temperature sensor and a pH sensor that functions as a detector of water quality in the pond. Communication between nodes slave and node master uses the BLE communication protocol. while for the webserver to run on the master node using WiFi communication. The microcontroller for this system uses NodeMCU ESP32. Based on the test results, the average system accuracy in reading the water temperature of the catfish pond is 97.88%, the average system accuracy in reading the pH of the pond water is 98.53%. The farthest BLE communication is 25 meters with a delay of 2815.8 ms for BLE communication and 252.4 ms for the webserver.

Abstract

Food is one of the basic needs needed by humans to fulfill the process of developing and growing needs. Serving food can be placed in containers such as plates, bowls, or lunch boxes. Tray box is a type of food lunch box consisting of 4 compartments. Rice, side dishes, vegetables are placed in each compartment so there aren't mix with each other and notice to the nutritional value of the food. An alternative way to know the nutritional content in food is digital image processing technology, by segmenting the image as the first step. In this research, the data used were 31 tray box images (full) consisting of 124 compartment images. The Otsu Thresholding method is used as a method for segmenting food images on a tray box with a color space. Each HSV channel is selected as color feature extraction for the compartment image segmentation process, the average of HSV and RGB are used for the full image segmentation process. The IoU accuracy results for compartmentalized image segmentation on each HSV channel are 0,6058237; 0,9006499, and 0,7726735. The results of IoU accuracy and MSE error for full image segmentation on the HSV average are 0,3069244 and 0,8644671, while the average RGB are 0,2761036 and 0,0267637. Based on the results, the Otsu Thresholding method with color space has good accuracy and provides a small error rate.

Abstract

Software Defined Network (SDN) is a concept that separates all control logic from network devices to a logically centralized control system named controller. One of the network applications that can be applied to the controller is routing. Routing algorithms are used to generate paths, for example Dijkstra's algorithm which computes the least cost from one node to another on the network. The cost is an important factor in determining which path to choose. When the cost is a fixed value, for example distance, it may result in the shortest path but not the optimal path, because link conditions are not considered. With a programmable SDN, the cost of Dijkstra's algorithm can be developed by considering the link conditions and artificial intelligence can be applied to cost calculations. In this research, the cost are based on available bandwidth and packet loss by using fuzzy logic. The results of the test, the system can determine the cost of the link from fuzzy logic calculations based on the available bandwidth and packet loss and find the path for the packet. Based on the results of the delay test, the system outperforms Dijkstra's static algorithm. Then based on packet loss testing, the system has packet loss ranging from 0-1%, while Dijkstra's static algorithm has a significant increase in the number of clients 25 and above. However, on the results of the convergence time, the system has a longer time than Dijkstra's static algorithm.

Abstract

Gouramy in some areas is one of the mainstay of agriculture. Gouramy meat is one of the sources of food that contains lots of good nutrition for humans. The protein content in gouramy is 19%, more than other fish that are often consumed by humans, such as catfish which has (18.2%) protein content, tilapia which has (16%) protein content, and carp which has ( 16%) protein content. The protein found in fish has more benefits than other animal meat. The characteristics of fresh fish are that it has a smooth texture but is still quite chewy and dense. All parts of the meat seemed to stick tightly to the bone. Gouramy has a weakness after the fish dies, that is, it quickly declines in quality, the speed of decline in fish quality can be influenced by internal factors that depend on the type of fish itself and externally related to human handling. gouramy meat that is not fresh or rotten with fresh gourami meat. So it will be very dangerous if the meat is not fresh or in a rotten state to be consumed by consumers. In this study, a classification system was created that can detect the level of freshness of gouramy meat with the characteristics of quality deterioration found in gouramy meat. With the MQ137 sensor to calculate the NH3 odor parameter and the TCS3200 sensor to calculate the color value of gouramy meat with an output of 3 classes, namely Rotten, Less and Fresh which is displayed on lCD16x2. With the classification results obtained on 180 training data and 30 test data, it produces an accuracy of up to 80% with an average computation time of 8.0667 ms..
