Abstract

AMF-HAQ is a construction service company that was founded in 2006 in the West Jakarta area. In carrying out its business activities, the accounting and human resources divisions have several problems which of course can hinder AMF-HAQ's development. In the accounting division, the recording of financial statements is still recorded using Excel which causes file accumulation. Therefore, eventually some problems arise, such as the absence of data backup if data is damaged or lost, the data search process takes a long time, and it takes a long time to make financial reports in graphical form. For the human resources division, important employee data is still stored in Excel and there is no data integration with the project management division. This can cause problems such as no data backup if data is damaged or lost, the data search process takes a long time, and makes the project management division work less efficient. For this reason, the owner of the AMF-HAQ company needs a system that can be used to assist the process of recording financial and employee data. Therefore, a finance accounting and human resource development management system was created. This system will be used by the finance accounting and human resource development divisions to record financial and employee data at the AMF-HAQ company. This system provides features for recording transaction data, both income and expenses, employee data, journal reports, general ledger reports, and balance reports. This system is built using the ReactJS framework for front end, using GraphQL for back end and using MongoDB for saving data via cloud. For system testing, white box method will be used in unit testing and black box method will be used in validation testing.. In addition, for testing system's non-funcional requirement, compatibility testing will be used to testing the system can run or not in different web browser. Testing result shows 100% of the system requirements have been used and valid.

Abstract

The development of information technology has grown rapidly and has influenced human life. E-commerce makes business competition move to network level, products in the form of licenses become a big prospect in business, and notice this as an opportunity known as digital distribution, two digital distribution sites which have similar business processes with knownly quite high visitors namely, store.steampowered.com and gog.com. Aim of the study is to compare user experience on the websites which have same characteristics and business processes in terms of usability.This study is using 2 testing methods, first is usability testing in the form of a scenario test that contains 6 (six) tasks with 4 (four) parameters which are tasks success rate, time per completed task, number of clicks during task completion, and error during task performance and user experience questionnaire which has 6 (six) scales namely: attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty Respondents and test participants have different backgrounds with the range of the age are between 18-35 years old who have never used the two websites. Then study was strenghtened by focus discussion group (FGD) method to seek deeper meaning about user perspective and problems found. From the results of the analysis and comparison based on the methodolgy, Steam's test result is superior than gog's based on 4 test parameters conducted, the respondents from UEQ are giving good impressions which achieved positive (good) mean level on every UEQ scale. FGD and feedback test result from scenario task used for seeking detailed preception and user problems. From both tests performed it can be concluded that the store.steampowered.com site is better than gog.com.

Abstract

The process of procuring a product in a distributor company is a long process. Starting from placing an order to the supplier, waiting the order confirmation, the product shipping, until the product can be arrived at the warehouse. Regardless of the lengthy process, companies are required to have a sufficient stock of the products despite uncertain customer demands. It makes companies need to predict future sales. PT. Satwa Jawa Jaya is one of the distributors of animal medication that has a similar problem. Therefore, a sales prediction of the product was made using the Linear Regression method. Predictions were made on 16 products from 7 different suppliers. The results of applying Linear Regression are different for each product. Where the Avatec 20% @ 20 KG product has the highest error rate with 86.25 of MAE score while the Barox Liquid @ 210 Liter product has the lowest error rate with 0,84 of MAE score. Furthermore, in order to facilitate PT. Satwa Jawa Jaya's stakeholders in reading the prediction results, a dashboard consist of visualization was created. Through the usability testing that has been carried out, the dashboard got a Sysem Usability Scale score of 72.5. This shows that the usability level of the dashboard belongs to the good and acceptable category. Which means the dashboard is suitable for use by PT. Satwa Jawa Jaya.

Abstract

Technology and information systems also have potential weakness that can be associated with negative stress. Stress caused by the utilization of technology is called technostress. Extreme technostress can cause employees get tired at work, unpleasant experience or dissatisfaction, and the emergence of a desire to stop working which will certainly harm the company. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing how technostress is experienced by employees and how an organization can overcome technostress. The case study that used is the Education Personnel from Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University. Collecting data in this study using semi-structured interviews then will be transformed in verbatim. Data that collected will be processed using qualitative analysis with thematic analysis method. The conclusion of this study, there are eleven codes that explain the technostress experienced by employees and how an organization can overcome it. Codes that describe technostress experienced by employees are information systems to support employee work, information systems to support employee communication, techno overload, techno uncertainty, techno invasion, and techno insecurity then the code that used by organizations or companies to overcome technostress is the provision of technical support, literacy of facilities, involvement of facilities, and providing motivational encouragement. This results has important implications for a company to manage the technostress.

Abstract

The Research Institute for Sweeteners and Fibers (BALITTAS) is one of the technical implementing units (UPT) of the Agricultural Research and Development Agency which is directly responsible to the Plantation Research and Development Center in Bogor. The Research Institute for Sweeteners and Fibers (BALITTAS) has quite a lot of human resources. Leave management is still carried out using recordings in the general ledger. The leave application process uses a form obtained by the employee from the admin. The formula will be approved by the direct supervisor, the head of the administrative subdivision, and the head of the hall which will then be handed back to the admin. Manually managing data using a ledger is also at risk of being damaged and lost. Management of leave information system (SICUTI) which was developed to assist employees in the process of asking questions and obtaining information related to leave allowances. This system provides a forum for admins to manage employee data and submit leave data. The development of this system uses the waterfall model. The implementation system uses the PHP programming language and the CodeIgniter framework. The tests used are unit testing, integration testing and validation testing. Compatibility testing is carried out to determine the ability of the system to run in several browsers such as IE, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, iOS and Android. The result of this research is a website-based Leave Information System (SICUTI).

Abstract

Distribution is one of the marketing activities carried out with the aim of distributing products from producers to consumers. This distribution is very important in marketing activities, if there is no distribution activity then the goods will not reach consumers from less affordable areas. Mineral water products almost dominate the beverage industry market and with population growth it is possible that the need for mineral water will continue to increase. At the point when the interest for mineral water expands, the job of distribution turns out to be important. In this distribution interaction, a method is needed that can handle the problems, this research was carried out using the Genetic Algorithm method in finding the optimization value contained in the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) to find the optimal total distance value in this distribution activity. Based on this research, the parameters are the cr 0.1, the mr 0.9, the popsize is 1000th population. The maximum iteration is 100th generation, the average fitnesss is 0.006438, and the total distance generated is more optimal than the route made by the courier of 35.3 km on the first courier, 35.8 km on the second courier and 34.9 km on the third courier.

Abstract

Current technology requires a network that able to collect data continuously. With sensors that can collect data and able to communicate on a wireless network, communication will be possible. One of the wireless networks that can monitor certain environmental conditions in different areas is the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). However, due to the small transmission capacity of WSN, the monitoring process requires a method that can reduce the size of the data sent and requires a communication module that allows low-power devices to communicate with each other. One method to perform image compression is the Huffman Algorithm. And the communication module which excels in data transmission capacity and has low power consumption is 6Lowpan. The results obtained from the data size performance test, namely the compression method can reduce the image size by 25% from the previous image size and can reduce the number of packet sizes by 78% of the number of packets before being compressed. In addition, it can be concluded that the compression method can increase the packet delivery time, but the compression method can reduce the success rate of packet delivery and the average delay time in packet transmission.

Abstract

In the time of pandemic almost all the school to carry out learning activities from the house, so that the media is able to help the students to learn from home. on the subjects of Graphic Design Printing during the pandemic using the media of learning-shaped power point. E-module is very helpful if dikembangkanPenelitian this begins with the stage of analysis of learning, then the design of learning media with design wireframe, and then perform a stage of development with the preparation of the material using Microsoft word and the design of the e-module using corel-draw, after the design is so done export the file into a pdf, then export into a flipbook using a pdf flipbook professional, for the writer to know whether the media was already fairly well implemented, the authors use a questionnaire validation to media experts and material experts for assessment, dilanjutnkan with stage evaluation using pre-test and post-test that will be answered by the students. The results of the normality test for pre-test and post-test is a significance value of pre-test 0.006, post-test of 0.000 and a questionnaire of 0.000. Furthermore, the data entered into the test statistic non parametric with the formula Wilcoxon Test and get hadil 0,002. Based on these values, it can be concluded that the value of significance is less than 0.05, then the results of the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, with the writing of the hypothesis that “There is an increase in learning outcomes of students after being given the media of learning”.

Abstract

Technostress is a negative effect that occurs on attitudes, human behavior, ways of thinking, and mentality due to the use of unhealthy information technology, either directly or indirectly. The negative impact of this technology is found in various sectors, most notably education. Teachers in the education sector face technostress as a result of unhealthy information technology use, which intensifies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The intensity of information technology use has been increasing during the Covid-19 pandemic, compared to before the pandemic situation, as teaching activities, meetings and completing school assignments are conducted from home or online. If the teachers continue to experience technostress, their performances will suffer, and they will be unable to complete the task properly. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that contribute to teachers experiencing technostress, the impact that technostress has on teachers and ways to alleviate technostress both in teachers as an individual and organizational support in schools. This is a qualitative study conducted through the use of case studies. The case study subjects in this study consisted of ten teachers and technicians from SMK Negeri 1 Nganjuk. The interview method was used to collect data, and thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study indicate that teachers are subjected to four types of technostress, namely techno-complexity, techno-overload, techno-invasion and techno-uncertainty. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on teachers who use information technology is both negative and positive. Additionally, this study discusses how to overcome technostress; there are three ways in which individuals can reduce technostress, namely self-efficacy, mindfulness, and internal motivation. Meanwhile, three types of organizational support aim to overcome technostress, including technical support providers, literacy facilities and engagement facilities.

Abstract

The self-quarantine needs for COVID-19 patients are becoming limited as daily case of this virus keep increasing in Indonesia and the world. In a study explained that self-quarantined patient have to wait some time to get the needs such as oxygen tank, convalescent plasma, and foods. That situation causes people to find help by sending broadcast messages through social media. The information that spread over many social medias make it harder for people who want to give some donation to find that information, and since the content of social media is very diverse, sometime causes the information cannot be found by others. Therefore, this research is conducted to build an information system TEMASI (Teman Masa Isolasi) that can be an information center so people who needs some help can meet people who wants to give them help. This system will be built using waterfall method that is chosen because all the system requirements can be defined clearly at the beginning of the development phase. The system will be mobile based so it can be used anywhere and anytime. The system will be built using React Native framework to support multi-platform application. The system itself will be tested using both functional and usability test. The functional system validation test produces a result that the system has 100% success rate. At the usability test, the system has System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 73.25 for patient and 73.75 for the donor. Those scores make this system included in acceptable category so it can be used by users.
