Abstract

Early childhood education program is very important. PAUD ABC is one of the schools that provide education for early childhood. In the process of education, PAUD ABC uses a liaison book and report for giving an academic information and administration for parents. However, in it's use there are several problems make the use of the book becomes ineffective.On The developed system there will be included with some features that expected to be used to solve the problems. Features include such as status knowing if parents have read the information provided from the liaison book or not, notifications for parents to provide informaion, as well as giving report about student's learning process to parents everyday. System development starts with requirement analysis using prototyping approach where there will be four times repeating process, then continue with designing and implementation process. The system will be tested using whitebox and blackbox method, which from the results will be known that the functions or the whole system can run well.

Abstract

In the application development of mobile devices must pay attention to the efficiency in terms of resource usage, in addition mobile device applications are very sensitive to delay. One of the factors that can cause delay is the process done on the web service. The speed of the process in the web service depends on the programming language used, the programming language can also affect the use of CPU (Central Processing Unit) and memory on the server. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the performance of web service to know the difference of CPU usage (Central Processing Unit), memory, and speed of execution of programming language used in web service. In this research, programming languages used are Python, PHP and Perl using CGI (Common Gateway Interface) on Apache web server accessed via mobile device with Android platform. After the experiment, it was found that Perl programming language has the fastest execution speed while the Python programming language has CPU usage (Central Processing Unit) and the least memory..

Abstract

Restaurant of Lesehan Nova Sragen has a variety of menu items are quite a lot of 116 food menu items and 44 drink menu items. Due to the high variations of menu items makes consumers take longer to select order menu items. Author provides solutions to restaurant's owner to create a menu package based on consumer history in selecting menu items. So as to improve restaurant service to consumers. To create package menu author using FIN algorithm. Fin algorithm is used to perform mining frequent itemset to sales transaction data. Fin algorithm is implemented on automatic package menu builder system. Based on test results, minimum value of support = 11 has resulted in proportional package menu variation ,and has been representative with consumer choice. Variation number of resulting package menu is 6 variations of package menu.

Abstract

Basically a human being is a social creature that needs each other. Surely every human must expect a normal life with a healthy body. A person who loses a physical or a physical disability will definitely be a challenge for them to be able to live social life with other people. Some patients with disabilities, especially those with disabilities, need a tool to enable them to interact normally with the help of rehabilitation tools. The design of rehabilitation tools utilizes from one of the intelligent bio-signal systems ie electrooculographic signal measurement techniques to record the electrical activity of eye movements. The hardware implementation uses five electrode sensors affixed around the eyes, an instrumentation amplifier OP07 with 416 amplification accompanied by high pass filter order 2 cutoff frequency 0.1Hz and low pass filter 2nd order 16Hz cutoff frequency and voltage source of the 9V circuit. Using the baseline method with a combination of calculating the exponential filter and threshold weight values. There is a process of designing and implementing hardware in a printed circuit board. The first software with the search for baseline values ​​of both channels, the process of calculating the weight value of 0.3 exponential filter for the noise can be resolved correctly and issued more accurate results, the determination of the five categories of eye movement ie front, right, left, top, and bottom with threshold value. The results of the test indicate that the first test of each eye movement is performed on 3 subjects reaching an average accuracy rate of 98.66%, the second of 5 consecutive eye movements performed on 3 subjects reaching an average accuracy rate of 96% and the third delay testing reaching flat the accuracy rate of 93.33%.

Abstract

The role of website becomes the essential needs of organizations, including The Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social and Politic Sciences, University of Brawijaya. The department utilizes the website to inform about academic activities, announcements, etc. The development of website has come through usability guidelines to ensure that the goal of the website could be achieved. To produce user interface design which could be accepted by the users, it was used the approach of User Centered Design (UCD) which would involve the users in developing process. According to the first interview that has been conducted, The Department of Psychology's web has not been evaluated in a long time. Thus explain the students complained because they could not find the information they needed. The problems that contained in the initial design can be solved on the new design, but there are still constraints felt by the user. This research focused on how to give the recommendation in using the approach of UCD toward the problem which was resulted after doing the evaluation. This research discussed from initial design evaluation and the new design, problem analysis, understand and specify the context of use, specify user requirements, recommendation analysis, produce design solution, and final evaluation. The result of this research is the existing problems can be solved according to the design guidelines, which is listed in Standardization of UB and HHS guidelines.

Abstract

Graduate on time is the desire of all students. In reality, not as expected many students who graduated more than four years. necessitating the application of predictive graduation students can classify graduation prediction data based on parameters that have been determined. Because it is necessary for the application of intelligent systems can classify graduation prediction data based on parameters. Algorithm Support Vector Machine (SVM) to classify the data into two classes using kernel Gaussian RBF with a combined value of parameter λ = 0,5, constant γ = 0,01, and ε (epsilon) = 0,001 itermax = 100, c = 1 by using training data as much as 170 datasets , this study resulted in an average accuracy of 80,55 %.

Abstract

One utilization of the fuzzy inference system is to diagnose HIV disease. In fuzzy inference system there is a membership function that plays an important role in solving the problem so that the function must be determined correctly and appropriately. Based on the rules and limitations of symptoms obtained from the expert used to establish the rules required in fuzzy logic to obtain accurate diagnosis of HIV disease. To obtain the right membership function can be done restrictions using Genetic Algorithm that can provide better accuracy results than the previous limitation. Genetic algorithm used can give accuracy about 45% for 24 data tested. Tests conducted using some of the best parameter values ​​there are, population value is 60, the generation is 40, crossover rate is 0.70 and mutation rate is 0.40. The optimization performed on fuzzy logic method using Genetic Algorithm has increased the accuracy about 20%.

Abstract

High blood pressure or commonly called hypertension is a disease that can affect anyone. High blood pressure is one disease that can cause other diseases, such as heart attack and stroke. Blood pressure is high if systolic blood pressure is more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is more than 90 mmHg. One thing that most affect the high blood pressure is an unhealthy diet. To set a healthy diet for people with high blood pressure then need to set the composition of foods with the needs of the body. A technique to get solution of foods for people with high blood pressure is by applying Adaptive Genetic Algorithm. Adaptive parameters are applied to the reproduction process mutation. The data used in the test is 146 Data of food ingredients classified into staple food, vegetable sources, sources of animal, vegetable and complementary. On this process of Adaptive Genetic Algorithm is used the permutation represented with integer with a length of chromosome 15 genes represented each digit of the number of food, methods of crossover with single-point crossover and mutation methods with reciprocal exchange mutation and elitism selection. As the results, the test performed obtained optimal parameters is the measure population of 200 individuals with an average fitness of 0,0774665, 90 generations with the average fitness of 0,0774665 and combinations cr = 0,8 and mr = 0,2 with the average fitness of 0,0780737.

Abstract

Nowadays there are changes that occurring in our community, especially in technology department, that causes changes in lifestyle which results in imbalanced nutrition. Something like this could lead the body to catch symptoms of dyslipidemia, which is a disease wherein the level of blood lipids is high and hence higher possibilities of causing many more dangerous diseases. To reduce the level of cholesterol, it is highly recommended to examine the food contents and ingredients. For some people, it may not be easy to manage what ingredients they should consume due to lack of knowledge in that aspect, so to solve the problem we could apply Evaluation Strategies method, which has initialization process of chromosome representation as real-vector. In this study, the ES cycle that we apply is (µ+λ) that only requires mutation without recombination. The next process is fitness calculation, and evaluation, and then do the selection process. From the testing of parameters, we can conclude that the system can yield the most optimized results when the size of population is set to 120, offspring is set to 160, and generation is set to 40. A solution that the system can come up with compared to the experts' recommendation shows that the solution this system gave is more optimal, with 2.2825 as a fitness value, higher than the fitness that we get from experts' recommendation which only 0.4003, so the system can provide recommendations for cheap ingredients while reckoning the needs for nutrients intake of the patients.

Abstract

Corn proudction in Indonesia is still continue to rise. Although in 2016 Indonesian corn production is currently at 17 million tons, it is still behind the United States with 365 million tons in corn production. The amount of corn production will affect the level of exports and imports that directly affect the country's economy. Increased corn production can be done in various ways, one of which is the improvement of cultivation techniques with the use of superior varieties. According to available data from the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, there are 100 hybrid corn varieties, but of the many varieties of corn, there are still varieties that have not been able to increase the corn's production significantly. Selection of corn varieties becomes a problem because there are many criteria to consider. Solutions from the selection of corn varieties can be solved by decision support system method called AHP and SMART method. The AHP method is used to give weighting to the criteria used in the SMART method. The SMART method is used to rank superior corn varieties. Both methods are selected for being able to produce accurate and fast computing decisions. The result of the system is in the form of rank of corn varieties ranging from the best to the worst.System validation is done by using Spearman Rank correlation with = 0,99754 which means a relationship between result system and expert result is near perfect.
