Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe about teaching learning process using Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) to increase student's active and study result to the VII A grade student's at SMP Negeri 2 Berbah. The hypothesis of this research was applying Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) could increase student's active and student's study result. This research was classroom action research (CAR) collaboratively. The research result showed that after applying Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) in teaching learning process, the student's active increasing. Before this research the student's were passive to listen to the teachers explanation but after this research the students were more ative to ask and discuss in group. Means students score increased, first 67,88 score, increasing in first cycle was 75,55 and increasing scond cycle was 79,34. From the result above, it showed that Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) could increase students active and study result.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the three models of the effect of learning on mathematics achievement. To determine the effect of motivation on mathematics achievement. To determine the interaction between the model of learning and motivation on mathematics achievement. F test group gained Ftab Fhit = 41,687 and df 1; 57 at 5% significance level is 4,02. Fhit> Ftab learning model means that there are influences on mathematics achievement. F test derived motivation Ftab Fhit = 0,909 and df 2; 57 at 5% significance level was 3,17. Fhit <Ftab means there is no effect of motivation on mathematics achievement. F test obtained Ftab Fhit interaction = 0,650 and df 2; 57 at 5% significance level was 3,17. Fhit <Ftab means that there is no interaction between the model of learning and motivation on mathematics achievement.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan keyakinan diri siswa menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi dan menyelesaikan permasalahan, sehingga siswa merasa takut akan pelajaran matematika yang diyakini terasa sulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan keyakinan diri siswa. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Kota Cirebon. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik sampel purposive dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 68 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal kemampuan pemahaman matematis, angket respons dan angket keyakinan diri. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis uji perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang dilihat dari perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dengan nilai kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol; (2) Keyakinan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika realistik menunjukkan kriteria kuat. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan besarnya persentase rata-rata angket skala keyakinan diri siswa sebesar 66,58%. (3) Respons siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika realistik menunjukkan kriteria kuat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan besarnya persentase rata-rata angket respons siswa sebesar 67,36%. Pembelajaran matematika realistik dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan keyakinan diri siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase creativity and mathematics achievement of students in class VIID SMP N 2 Dukun, Magelang with cooperative learning model TGT (Teams Games Tournaments). Type Classroom Action Research. The subject class VIID and object creativity and mathematics learning achievement. Techniques of data collection are using observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results after application of TGT models, creativity and mathematics learning achievement have increased. This is indicated by the average percentage of questionnaires result of student learning creativity by 47,27% pre-cycle, the first cycle of 60,74%, and 71,27% in the second cycle. Results of students mathematics learning achievement test, the average value of mathematics learning achievement at 52,96 pre-cycle, the first cycle increased to 68,20  and the second cycle increased to 73,67.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between motivation to learn and students perception on mathematics with the results of  mathematics learning. This research method applied descriptive of correlation.The population in this research is grade VIII SMP N 1 Jetis totaling 180 students, with a sample of 120 students taken by cluster random sampling. Analytical techniques multiple regression analysis with requirment of normality and linierity. Based on the results of the research, R = 0,460, meaning that there was a positive correlation between motivation to learn and students perception on mathematics with the results of mathematics learning. Rx1.y – x2 = 0,204, meaning that therewas a positive correlation between motivation to learn with the results of mathematics learning. Rx2.y – x1 = 0,314, meaning that there was a positive correlation between students perception on mathematics with the results of mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to think creatively and mathematics achievement of tenth grade students of Engineering Computer Networking SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta with models of learning in group problem posing. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of tenth grade Engineering Computer Networking, amounting to 36 students. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, testing, interviews and documentation. Results of this study after using problem posing learning model showed an increase in the ability to think creatively and math achievement of students. (1) The mean score of students' creative thinking abilities increase of 61.46% on the pretest to 80.55% in the first cycle test and increased again to 87.5% in the second cycle. Criteria for each aspect of the ability to think creatively in the second cycle varies. Aspects smooth on very high criteria. Aspects of high flexibility in the criteria. Aspects of the criteria are originality. Aspects of detail on very high criteria. (2) There is an increase in the percentage of student mastery of 75% of all students achieving ≥ 75 KKM. It is evident from the increase in 44.44% (16 students completed) on the pretest increased to 58.33% (21 students completed) in the first cycle test and increased to 77.78% (28 students completed) I. Model of learning in group problem posing able to be an alternative learning models improve the ability to think creatively and mathematics achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the process of learning mathematics with active learning methods of type Groupto Group Exchange. Group to Group Exchangeis able to increase motivation and learning outcomes in learning mathematic on VIIA class of MTsMa’arif Pekutan Kebumen. Type of this research is classroom action research. Subjects of this study were students of VIIA grade ofMTsMa’arif Pekutan Kebumen as many as 18 student. The object of this study are the motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics with mathematic a llearning method Group to Group Exchange (GGE). The results showedthat the motivation and learning outcomes has increased. This is shown by an increase in the average of motivation percentage of students for each cycle. In the precycle average of student motivation in precentage is 61.40%, and increased to 70.19% in the first cycle. Then in the second cycle increased again became 80.28%. the average of student learning out comeson the precycle is 64.50 with average of completeness 38.88% from 18 students. On the first cycle increased to 73.61 with average of completeness 66.67% and than on the second cycles increased to78.08 with average of completeness 83.33%.

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to find out the correlation interest of study and facility to study with the prestation of mathematics learning. This research method was descriptive of correlation. The population in this research is grade XI IPS SMA N 1 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta  totaling 74 students, with a sample of 74 student. Analytical techniques multiple regression analysis with requirment of normality and linierity. Based on the results of the research, R = 0,739, meaning that there was a positive correlation interest of study and facility of study with the prestatiton of mathematics learning. 0,691, meaning that there was a positive correlation interest of study with the prestation of mathematics learning.0,449, meaning that there was a positive correlation facility to study with the prestation of mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of the study to describe the process of cooperative learning Student Team Achievement Division (STAD)  in order to increase learning activity and achievement in learning mathematics of class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Kokap. The type of this research is a classroom action research. The subject of the research are the students grade VII B SMP Negeri 2 Kokap. It consists of 23 students. The object of this research is learning activity and achievement in learning mathematics through model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). The result of the study shows that after applying this learning model, activity and achievement has an increase. Students’ activity has an increase in pre-cycle show 40,99% become 59,63% in cycle I, whereas in cycle II shows the increse become 80,12% from the observation sheet. Beside that, the subjection mean of students achievement has an increase. In pre-cycle shows 50,98, in cycle I has an increase become 67,66, whereas in cycle II shows the increse become 83,12.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between attitude, learning style and numerical ability with the results of mathematics learning. This research method applied descriptive of correlation. The population in this research is grade VII SMP the district of Jetis Bantul, with a sample of 72 students taken by cluster random samplingfrom two state junior high schoolthat is SMPN 1, SMPN 2 Jetis and one private junior high school that is SMP Muhammadiyah. Analytical techniques multiple regression analysis with requirment of normality and linierity.Based on the results of the research, R = 0,427, meaning that there was a positive correlation between attitude, learning style and numerical ability with the results of mathematics learning. ry1-23 is 0,280, meaning that there was a positive correlation betweenattitude with the results of mathematics learning. ry2-13 is 0,271, meaning that there was a positive correlation between learning style withthe results of mathematics learning, ry3-12 is 0,242, meaning that there was a positive correlation between numerical ability with the results of mathematics learning.
