One of types of normal human emotion is being angry. Unadaptive anger is passive and aggressive, meanwhile, adaptive anger is assertive. Adolescent phase is critical phase in searching for self identity. Uncontrol anger in adolescent phase causes violent behavior and it has negative impact for the personnel, group, and environment. Moreover, this research aimed at identifying the influence of assertive training against the control of teenager’s anger at Junior High School in Surabaya, East Java-Indonesia. The researchers utilized queasy experiment method through pretest – posttest approach with control group by utilizing consecutive sampling technique. Meanwhile, data collection utilized questionnaire. There were two kinds of questionnaires which were used, which were for screening and for prepost-test. Assertive training aimed at improving teenager’s control while they were angry. Research result showed that the decrease of anger was significant between before and after being given assertive training (p < 0.05). The difference of anger score between in control group and in treatment group was significant (p = 0.05). However, assertive training could be used as alternative way in order to improve teenager’s control while they were in angry emotion rather than other therapies. Abstract

Young women are at risk of having anemia higher than young men because every month they had menstruation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of giving iron and vitamin C supplements to adolescent girls. This is a quantitative research with true experiment design. Research samples were young women who experienced mild-moderate anemia. The study begins with initial screening by measuring Hb levels. The selected samples were given iron supplements in the control group and given iron supplements plus vitamin C in the treatment group. In weeks I and II Fe tablets and vitamin C were given 1 tablet each. Week III, during menstruation the sample is given 1 tablet of Fe and vitamin C every day during menstruation. In week IV given 1 tablet of Fe and vitamin C.The results showed that there were differences in Hb levels in the groups given Fe and Fe tablets plus vitamin C with significance values α = 0.000 and α = 0.000. The average increase Hb in the group with Fe was 1.2 g / dL and in the group given Fe plus vitamin C it was 1.7 g / dL. The group that received Fe and vitamin C tablets was more effective than the group with Fe tablets only. Vitamin C can increase iron absorption when given during menstruation, so it can reduce anemia in young women Keywords: Iron supplements, Vitamin C, Anemia, Young women

This was quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. Based on the results of statistics tests using the MannWhitney test, the p-value = 0.013 for fine motor difference between experimental and control groups and the pvalue 0.018 for improvement in fine motor development in the experimental group. There was a significant effect on the provision of stimulus in the form of an educational plaything ‘number puzzle in improving the fine motoric of preschoolers aged 4-6 years. Abstract

This study determined the relationship between the physical health condition of the pot makers and their household gross monthly income. It used the correlational descriptive method and was conducted in 2018. There were 17 identified as respondents of the study. The tool used was a researcher made questionnaire and underwent validation process. The study was granted the notice to proceed by the university and were approved by the local executive heads. The researchers personally distributed the questionnaires to assist the respondents and further explained in vernacular the purpose of the study to their level of understanding. The questionnaire was translated into Filipino language. The percentage was used to determine the age, physical health condition and household gross monthly income. The spearman rank was used to determine the relationship between the physical health condition and the income. This paper arrived at the conclusions that there is a less participation in the pot making among the young generation. Likewise, most of the respondents were suffering mild illness and had a very low income. It is recommended that the state university in the locality needs to conduct trainings and provide technical assistance, establish programs to support the health condition of the people in the pot making, collaborate with government and non-government organizations addressing poverty alleviation. Further, household monthly gross income can be augmented by providing technology to provide fast production of better products and lessen the physical task.
