Children are next generation for a nation. It is expected that the children have high quality, which is indicated by healthy growth and development. However, many things were occurred in line with the children’s growth and development. People’s independence for caring their children’s health could be improved by using KIA book (mother and children’s health book). Government had organized a program for improving the use of KIA book, which was through coordinating parenting class. Moreover, this research aimed at knowing the effectiveness of parenting class against the change of mother’s behavior in stimulating 2-5 years aged toddler’s growth and development at Poncol Village, Poncol Sub-district, Magetan District, East Java Province, Indonesia. This research was pre-experimental research with one- group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was all mothers who had 2-5 years aged toddler at Poncol Village, Poncol Sub-district, Magetan District, East Java Province, Indonesia in June 2017 and they were 59 mothers. Data collection was conducted through pretest and posttest. The research instrument utilized questionnaire. Meanwhile, data analysis utilized statistic test of paired sample t test with α 0,05. The result of data analysis for the knowledge regarding stimulation that was obtained p= 0.000 was concluded that there was a significant difference of mother’s knowledge regarding stimulation of 2-5 years aged toddler’s growth and development between before and after joining parenting class. P value for stimulation practice that was obtained p= 0.000 was concluded that there was a significant difference of mother’s practice in stimulating her 2-5 years aged toddler between before and after joining parenting class. Furthermore, the conclusion was parenting class changed effectively the mother’s behavior in stimulating 2-5 years aged toddler’s growth and development at Poncol Village, Poncol Sub-district, Magetan District, East Java, Indonesia. Abstract

Public Speech and language skills are aspects related to the ability to respond the voice, speech, communicate following orders and smooth articulation, stimulation that can be given to the development of articulation and language of preschool age children is bibliotherapy. Bibliotherapy by using the book as a therapy to support the needs of children for development and personal experiences of preschoolers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bibliotherapy on the development of articulation in pre school age children. The design of this study is quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group pre-test design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the minimum sample size of each experimental group and the control group is 20 respondents. Stimulation of this study was given for 3 days with a duration of 40 minutes using Denver Articulation Screening Exam. The result showed p value = 0.000 <α = 0.05 in the experimental group and the control group p value 0.743> α 0.005. Preschool-aged children that given bibliotherapy have a smooth alteration in articulation pronunciation because the fast mapping process that occurs in their brains, they will quickly absorb the meaning of the newly heard word once or twice, then they quickly make a hypothesis about the meaning of the word and store it in memory. Abstract

Primary hypertension is a causing factor of cardiovascular disease mortality. Patient with primary hypertension having high grade hypertension will cause various dangerous diseases if it is not performed further countermeasures. Consequently, it is necessary to prevent the increase of grade hypertension or blood pressure by analyzing grade hypertension risk factor. This study was quantitative research with cross sectional design method. The samples in this study were 346 respondents taken by consecutive sampling. Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS (v. 3.2.7) application software was used as to analyze the data. Results shows that there is a physical activity effect on grade hypertension, with the value of path coefficient by -0.564 of t statistic 16.48 (t statistic > t table significance by 1.96). Based on the result of the study, there is a topography effect on grade hypertension, with the value of path coefficient by 0.412 of t statistic 8.690 (t statistic > t table significance by 1.96). Physical activity affects grade hypertension. The better the physical activity, the better the way to prevent a blood pressure increase mainly systolic blood pressure. The high topography can lead to increase grade hypertension in the primary hypertension patient, therefore, lifestyle and topographic effect should also be considered for people with primary hypertension mainly for non-native people who have not experienced acclimatization. Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women has a negative impact on both the mother and the fetus, some of which may occur: in the first trimester (abortion, missed abortion and congenital abnormalities), in the second trimester (antepartum bleeding, premature birth, fetus births with anemia, low birth weight, high-birth delivery, high fatigue), when inpartu (primary and secondary disruption, fatigue, high activity delivery), postpartum (difficult to heal, easy puerperalis febris, uterine involution disturbance, death high mothers resulting from bleeding and puerperal infection). This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of giving tablets added blood combination of vitamin B6 and tablets added blood vitamin C combination to increase hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at Karang Anyar health center, Beringin Sub-district, Deli Serdang District in 2015. This study was a quasy experiment research with pretest postest control group design. In this study used two groups of treatment, namely: group A tablet supplementation combined blood vitamin B6, group B administration of tablets plus blood combination of vitamin C. Samples in this study were 62 trimester pregnant women as many as 62 people divided into 2 groups. Data analysis using t-test. There was a difference of hemoglobin group A with group B with p value 0.273> 0.05 and 0.007 <0.005. Given a significant difference between group A and group B then all pregnant women in consuming tablets plus blood should be accompanied by consumption of vitamin C to help the absorption of iron optimally.
