Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Investment Knowledge, Financial Ability and Family Environment on Investment Interest of Students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The population of this study were all active students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo batch 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 with a sample of 88 students. In this study, the sampling method used is probability sampling, namely disproportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing online questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Economics. The analytical method used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) investment knowledge has an effect on investment interest in students of the Faculty of Economics, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo with a significance of 0.000. 2) Financial Ability has no effect on the Investment Interest of Students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo with a significance of 0.182. 3) Family environment affects the investment interest of students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo with a significance of 0.024. 4) the independent variables simultaneously affect investment interest by 47.6% while the remaining 52.4% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy in building customer loyalty through Customer Relationship Marketing, product quality, and price with image as an intervening variable at Daeng Nakku Coffee Shop. The issues raised are whether CRM, product quality, price have a direct and indirect effect on image and loyalty? The population in this study were the customers or visitors of the Daeng Nakku coffee shop. The sample used was 95 samples with accidental sampling technique. Data collection method using survey method with research instrument is a questionnaire. The approach method used in this study is a quantitative method with data analysis tools using Smart PLS. The results showed that the CRM variables, product quality, and price directly had a positive and significant effect on the image of the shop. Furthermore, the CRM variables, product quality, and price directly have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. And the image variable can mediate the relationship between CRM, product quality, and price on customer loyalty.Keywords: Image, CRM, Price, ProductQuality, Loyality

Abstract

The phenomenon of this study is mining companies' involvement in realizing responsibility for the environment, or CSR (corporate social responsibility)., is carried out through the provision of assistance, which only provides short-term problem solving in the form of rehabilitation of people's houses as well as direct assistance in the form of nine staple goods to the community. The purpose of this study is to examine strategies for increasing creative MSMEs utilization of the CSR (corporate social responsibility) program of companies engaged in nickel mining, especially MSME actors in areas affected by mining activities in Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that seeks to understand the various concepts found in the research process through content analysis and library research. The results of the research found that the pattern of increasing creative MSME by mining company CSR funds was carried out through partnership, community, and participatory patterns with several efforts including increasing financial capacity, increasing human resource capabilities, increasing production and technology capabilities, as well as marketing capabilities. By following the technique adopted by PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk, the Pomalaa sub-district administration can utilize this research as a guide to establish policies regarding the engagement of mining corporations in fostering the expansion of MSMEs in the Pomalaa sub-district area. The novelty of this study is to examine more deeply the strategies for increasing creative MSMEs in areas affected by mining activities with the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Program.Keyword: Company, Creative, CSR, MSME

Abstract

Bankcruptcy is a problem that is often faced by companies, included Garuda Indonesia. Garuda Indonesia is a big transportation company. However, its financial situation is not as good as it seems. Based on the data collected, Garuda Indonesia has some problems related to liquidity, leverage, and profitability. If the company doesn’t realize its problems, the situation will only get worse. Therefore, the research goal is to find out the impact of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on Garuda Indonesia’s (GIAA) financial distress, with the expectation that the company can take a serious step to fix its financial situation. The study uses quantitative methods using the secondary data. The sample of the research are GIAA’s quarterly financial report from first quarter of 2012-fourth quarter of 2019 and uses purposive judgement sampling as a sampling method. The research shows that GIAA’s financial distress influenced by liquidity, while profitability and leverage has nonsignificant effect on financial distress. The implication of this research is that the company now must manage its assets, in form of airplanes, because those assets can cause bigger cost to be borne if the company cannot manage them wisely.Keyword: Financial distress, Garuda Indonesia, Liquidity, Leverage Profitability

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of economic growth and the Human Development Index (HDI) on poverty, with Zakat Infaq Sedekah (ZIS) as a moderating variable. This study is quantitative, and the analytical methods consist of panel data regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) aided by Eviews 9 data tools. The findings revealed that economic growth has a positive and substantial influence on poverty, whereas HDI has a negative and significant effect on poverty. However, ZIS does not mitigate the impact of economic development on poverty, nor does it modify the impact of the HDI on poverty. This result indicates that the ZIS does not help decrease poverty in South Kalimantan.Keyword: Economic growth, HDI, Poverty, ZIS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of government spending on provincial economic output in Indonesia. GRDP is used as a proxy for economic output growth. The object research is the provinces in Indonesia (33 provinces) with the research period 2016-2021. The research method used is Generalized Least Square (GLS). The results showed that the variables of unemployment, government spending on social protection, mean of year's scholling (MYR) and labor had a significant effect on output growth (GRDP), while education spending did not significantly affect output growth. Therefore, the central and regional governments make planning plans on an annual, medium-term and long-term basis with the intention that the role of the existing budget in government can produce targeted output, especially in the education sector.Keyword: output growth; government expenditure; generalized least square; GRDP

Abstract

The rapid development of the freight forwarding service industry is currently due to increased consumer demand. In carrying out the delivery of goods by goods delivery services it does not always run smoothly, there are errors and omissions that occur, such as goods being exchanged, damaged, arriving late at the destination address causing losses to consumers. Conditions like this will be detrimental to the delivery service company. In order to compete and survive in the high demand for freight forwarding services, companies must be able to maintain and increase the productivity of their employees. Then conducted research in terms of employee productivity. The research design adapts a quantitative approach using 7 variables, namely leadership, work motivation, rewards, incentives, competence, job satisfaction and work productivity. The study used a questionnaire with an interval scale of 10 points and distributed a sample of 217 respondents, namely employees of freight forwarding services. Data analysis in this study used the SEM method with the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of the study clarify that leadership, incentives, job satisfaction partially have a significant effect on employee work productivity, and work motivation, rewards and competence partially have no significant effect on employee work productivity, while leadership, work motivation, and incentives indirectly through job satisfaction as an intervening variable has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. Meanwhile, rewards and competencies indirectly through job satisfaction as intervening variables have no significant effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

Apart from providing rooms, the hotel also provides a restaurant. One of the restaurants in Central Jakarta is the Japanese restaurant Nippon-Kan. Entering the digital era, internet-based marketing has begun to be utilized by business actors. E-WOM is a marketing strategy that is widely used today. By utilizing the internet, customer information and reviews about restaurants will be widely disseminated in various discussion forums so that E-WOM can influence customer purchase intentions. In addition to E-WOM, brand awareness can also affect customer purchase intentions. This study aims to inspect and evaluate the effect of E-WOM and brand awareness on purchase intentions at Nippon-Kan restaurants. The theories used are marketing theory, brand theory, and planned behavior theory. The research method used was to collect data through a questionnaire and then process it with SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results of the study explain that E-WOM and brand awareness have a positive and significant outcome on purchase intentions at the Japanese restaurant Nippon-Kan, Central Jakarta. The implication of this research is that it can be deliberation for every company to increase E-WOM and brand awareness that has been implemented. For the public, this research is expected to afford information and knowledge about E-WOM, brand awareness and consumer purchase intentions. Sukuk is one of the investment instruments that provide opportunities for Muslim and non-Muslim investors to start investing in Indonesia. Macroeconomic variables can reflect a country's economic stability. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of interest rates, sukuk yields and GDP on sukuk demand in Indonesia. Data analysis is done using multiple linear regression methods, using the smallest square (ordinary leas Square). Data processing using SPSS 25.0. From the results of the research that the first hypothesis proposed is the variable Deposit Rate statistically. Judging from the regression coefficient which is worth 0.854 (Positive). So the value of the statement in the first hypothesis is supported in this study. Abstract

Lazada is an e-commerce with fewer visitors compared to other e-commerce. Several relevant research results show that there are still inconsistencies in research results. This study aims to determine the effect of e-Promotion, service quality, ease of shopping, and e-WOM on purchasing decisions through consumer behavior. The research method uses associative quantitative methods, with causal techniques. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, and data analysis was carried out both descriptively and inferentially. Analysis approach with SEM-PLS, using Smart PLS 3.0. The results of the study prove that the exogenous variables e-Promotion, convenience, and consumer behavior have a direct significant effect on purchasing decisions, while service quality, and e-WOM do not have a direct effect on purchasing decisions. As for e-Promotion, service quality, convenience, and e-WOM have a direct significant effect on consumer behavior. The e-Promotion variables, service quality, convenience, and e-WOM, have a significant indirect effect on purchasing decisions, through consumer behavior as a mediating variable.
