Abstract

The  quality  of  academic  services  is  a  comparison  between  the  perceived  academic service  customers  or  stakeholders  with  the  quality  of  academic  services  that diharapkanpelanggan.  The  purpose  of  this  study  was  to  determine  how  the  level  of  student satisfaction on the performance of academic services at the University of the ocean, and identify as to whether the expectations of students as users of our services to academic services at the University of the ocean.The  population  in  this  study  were  all  students  of  both  the  semester  active  maaupun aajaraan  odd  year  2016-2017  as  users  of  services  from  academic  services,  which  the respondents of this activity drawn from five faculties at the University of the ocean environment. Side technique used is proportional stratified random sampling which classifies the populationconsists of five faculties. The method used is the gap analysis that compares the perceptions of respondents mahasiswaa expectations with reality.From  the  results  of  the  study  shows  that,  for  services  such  as  facilities  and  media university  lectures  and  attitude  of  staff  behavior  akademikberdasarkan  student  perceptions require improved performance. While factors  -  other factors such as library facilities, attitudes and behavior of faculty, administrative staff and library responsiveness, competence of lecturers and administrative staff, is perceived quite well by studentsKeywords : service quality, Gap Analysis

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of internal organizational relations and employee-customer relationship to job satisfaction through empowerment of employees. The method used in this study is a survey approach, this type of research is quantitative descriptive analytical method used is the analysis of the path, with 3 (three) the hypothesis being tested. The results of the study on the first hypothesis, it is known that simultaneously internal organizational relations and employee-customer relationships significantly influence employee empowerment. But partially employee-customer relationship and no significant effect on the empowerment of employees. For the second hypothesis, based on the partial test known that employee empowerment significant effect on job satisfaction. For the third hypothesis, based on the partial test in the know that the connection relationship of internal organization and employee empowerment, variables significantly influence job satisfaction, employee empowerment variables are variables that most influence on job satisfaction compared with a variable internal organizational relationships.Keywords: Support Based Relationships, Job Satisfaction, Employee Empowerment

Abstract

Telecommunication companies in Indonesia are now in slack condition. They are not able to apply the strategy of market expansion to increase their profit. Therefore, maintaining customer loyalty is one of the best ways to satisfy customers. However, customer satisfaction is not enough to maintain customer loyalty since competitors also apply the same thing. In order to forestall the move of customers, it is necessary to apply switching cost strategy. The objective of the research was to find out the influence of satisfaction on loyalty through switching cost in Telkomsel customers in Medan.The samples were 160 respondents, taken by using convenience sampling technique. The data were gathered by using likert instrument and analyzed by using descriptive analysis, cross tabulation, and partial least square (PLS). The result of the research showed that all hypotheses could be confirmed. Satisfaction had positive influence on switching cost, switching cost had positive influence on loyalty, and satisfaction had positive influence on loyalty. However, in this research, switching cost could not mediate the influence of consumer satisfaction on loyalty. Direct influence of satisfaction on customer loyalty was higher than that through switching cost.Keywords: Satisfaction, Switching Cost, Loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of    this study was to determine and analyze the cause of a large Financing income  received  while  small,  and  to  investigate  the  causes  of  financing  products  for  the  results (profit sharing) channeled smallest of murabahah financing and Musyarakah. Research  approaches  used  descriptive  research  approaches,  data  collection  techniques used in this study interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive  analysis  technique  that  is  by  collecting  data  and  classifying  data  obtained  from  the company with the existing theory so as to provide a clear picture of the object being studied.Results showed Financing great while revenues received by little it is because of financing problems in the implementation of the payment of financing by the customer that  happens things like financing is not smooth, the financing of which the debtor does not meet the requirements that were promised, and these costs are not on schedule installments, troubled financing is one of the definite  risks  faced  by  each  bank  because  the  risk  is  often  also  called  credit  risk.  and  financing products for the results (Mudarabah) channeled smallest of Murabahah financing and Musyarakah and this is because of financing is financing with a high degree of risk and should be based on a strong element of trust. Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure the influence of tax service quality and tax sanctions to taxpayer compliance in Tax Service office (KPP) Pratama Medan Belawan. This research using survey method for approachment. The nature and type of this research are to explain and quantitative descriptive. The sample of this research are 100 tax payer in KPP Pratama Medan Belawan using simple random sampling. This research was using questionnaire for data collection method. The questionnaire was given to any tax payer randomly. The result of this research which has passed through validity test, reliability test and classic assumption test were processed and resulting the following regression equation, Y = 0.351 X1 + 0.343 X2 + e. The result of multiple regression shows that tax service quality and tax sanctions has a postive influence to taxpayer compliance in KPP Pratama Medan Belawan. The value of determination coefficient (R²) was 0.579. It means 57.9% taxpayer were affected by tax service quality and tax sanctions, 40.1% taxpayer compliance can be were affected by the variable outside the two variable.Keywords: Tax service quality, tax sanction, taxpayer compliance

Abstract

PT.  Harmony  Toba  Jaya  is  one  of  the  paint  distributor  with  Sikkens  trademark. Companies  choose  direct  communication  with  consumers  workshops  in  their  marketing communications strategy. This is done because of the increasing number of new paint products on the market so we need a strategy that is relevant to the condition that there is a bottom -up with a marketing strategy where marketers sell products directly to end users or workshop. Based on the above conditions need to be processing data analysis using SWOT analysis (Strength,  Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) from Sikkens paint products through questionnaires given to consumers. Based on the results of the questionnaire processing, can be calculated the value of the X axis and Y axis to determine the position of the company. The value of  the X-  and Y-axis respectively is -0.141 and  -0.100 so that the value of the intersection of the axes X and Y are XY (-0.141;  -0.100). From these  results,  the  company  is  located  in  Quadrant  IV  (negative,  negative).  It  is  necessary  to  get attention  because  in  addition  to  the  weakness  of  the  company  there  are  also  threats  from competitors  that  are  very  dangerous.  Therefore,  recommendations  given  strategy  is  Strategy Defense,  meaning  that  the  internal  conditions  of  the  organization  that  are  in  selection  dilemma. Therefore, organizations are advised to use a survival strategy, the performance of internal control so as not to fall. Abstract

Indonesias urban slum neighborhood is a very complex problem, including problems related to poverty, low levels of community education, gaps and indiscriminately to the environment as well as the capacity of city / district government institutions in regulating, organizing spatial planning and resources owned. One of them in the Village Nanas Siam Kecamatamn Medang Deras Batubara District. Problems that occur in the field was quite complex. Many of the things that affect the emergence and the process of the region into a slum with a variety of characteristics of the problem. From the results of research can be seen that the condition of slum neighborhoods in the village of Nanas Siam Kecamatamn Medang Deras Batubaram regency is very bad. This can be seen from the density of buildings in the area that are not in accordance with the spatial planning that may cause flood and fire hazard. Abstract

The research of problem are stress of work can influenacejob performance  with work motivation as intervining variable. The method of data collection are questionare and study of documentations. The model of data analysis used are Structure Equation Modelling (SEM). The determination of sample using  Slovin formula and the writer used the accidental sampling, the total samples were 48 workers. The results of this study indicate work stress indirectly affect performance but through previous job satisfaction variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meneliti pengaruh konflik peran terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan dengan stres kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada PT. Jombang Intermedia Pers (Jawa Pos Radar Jombang). Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 30  karyawan PT.Jombang Intermedia Pers (Radar Jombang) dengan metode sampling jenuh. Metode analisis menggunakan SEM (Structural equation Model) dengan alat analisis Pls versi 3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara konflik peran terhadap stres kerja. Namun, justru konflik peran berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, stres kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan stres kerja tidak mampu memediasi antara konflik peran terhadap kepuasan kerja.
