Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ responses to the use of learning media with the Gallery Walk method within the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to support IPAS (Science and Social Studies) learning at the elementary school level. It also seeks to offer an alternative teaching method that can be applied in the classroom. The PjBL model, which often relies solely on presentations, can sometimes lead to student boredom during the learning process. To address this, the study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of the class teacher and fifth-grade students, focusing primarily on the implementation and impact of audiovisual learning media and the Gallery Walk method within the PjBL framework. The results indicate that students responded positively to the implementation, as seen in their enthusiasm and increased participation throughout the learning process. In conclusion, combining the PjBL model with audiovisual learning media and the Gallery Walk method offers a promising teaching strategy that teachers can apply in the classroom

Abstract

The research aimed to portray women's leadership in education in Madura through a case study of Nyai Munawwarah's leadership in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Rasyid, Sumenep. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analysed thematically. The results showed that Nyai Munawwarah utilised social capital such as community networks, norms of reciprocity and trust to sustain the madrasah after the death of the founder. The main challenges include financial limitations, undisciplined management of certified teachers, and value conflicts between generations of teachers. Her leadership strategies include: (1) building teachers' collective awareness to have a sense of responsibility towards the madrasah through motivation, dialog or communication, and exemplification; and (2) improving the quality of education services by enforcing the discipline of certified teachers and regenerating leadership. Nyai Munawwarah's leadership reflects a servant leadership model that prioritises personal sacrifice and a humanist approach, although it depends on individual resilience. The research concludes that while women's leadership can drive community-based education, institutional sustainability requires structural support such as transparent evaluation systems, performance-based incentives and participatory governance. The implication is affirmative policies needed to strengthen the role of women in the leadership of Islamic education while overcoming patriarchal bias.

Abstract

Alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah adanya permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa kelas II SD, yakni siswa kurang terampil dalam menulis dengan menggunakan huruf kursif, karena belum adanya penerapan media pembelajaran khusus untuk berlatih menulis kursif serta kurangnya bimbingan dari guru dalam berlatih menulis menggunakan huruf kursif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kursif siswa melalui pemanfaatan LKPD menulis tegak bersambung bersama kawan seiring. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi validasi dari ahli media dan materi, serta tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini berupa angket validasi ahli media dan materi, serta tes keterampilan menulis kursif. Dan hasil dari penelitian ini dihitung dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa analisis kelayakan media dan materi, serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang digunakan memperoleh penilaian dari ahli media yaitu 93%, sedangkan penilaian dari ahli materi yaitu 97%, serta hasil akhir validasi yaitu 95% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil keterampilan menulis kursif siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan LKPD menulis tegak bersambung bersama kawan seiring dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test 69.09 dan rata-rata nilai post-test 90.00. Dapat disimpulkan dari hasil temuan pada penelitian ini bahwa LKPD menulis tegak bersambung bersama kawan seiring berhasil dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kursif siswa, dengan hasil yang tergolong dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Seni merupakan media untuk berkreasi. Salah satu kegiatan seni yang umum dilakukan adalah menggambar ekspresif. Di dalamnya melibatkan unsur dalam diri pembuat karya. Menggambar ekspresif, telah diperkenalkan di sekolah dasar, tetapi baru didalami pada kelas 5. Namun, dalam praktiknya sering guru mengadaptasi proses konvensional dengan mengamati objek di sekitar. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, terdapat salah satu media yang dapat dijadikan sumber pembelajaran menggambar ekspresi, yaitu Manga. Hal ini mengingat banyaknya siswa SD telah mengenal dan tertarik dengan dunia animanga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan unsur estetika dan menjelaskan relevansinya dalam Manga Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, dengan muatan materi menggambar ekspresif dalam buku Seni Rupa kelas 5 SD/MI. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka. Pengambilan data dengan metode simak, catat, dan dokumentasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Temuan hasil menunjukkan adanya empat unsur estetika dalamnya berupa tema, bentuk, warna, dan motif berdasarkan teori estetika Herbert Read. Terdapat relevansi antara unsur estetika dan muatan submateri menggambar ekspresif. Pertama, ditemukan prinsip keseimbangan dengan keempat unsur estetika yang berfungsi untuk memperoleh referensi. Kedua, submateri menganalisis dan menyimpulkan prinsip keseimbangan berfungsi sebagai pematangan terhadap konsep yang telah terbentuk pada penjajagan awal. Ketiga, kegiatan praktik berfungsi dalam mewujudkan keempat unsur estetika dalam sebuah karya seni.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an important skill in science learning. This study aims to examine the influence of conceptual understanding and creativity on problem-solving ability, both directly and through self-confidence as an intervening variable. The study used an ex post facto quantitative approach with 59 sixth grade students as respondents, and data analysis was conducted using a path model. The results showed that conceptual understanding had a direct effect of 0.440 on problem-solving ability, while creativity had a direct effect of 0.396. When self-confidence was included as an intervening variable, the indirect effect of conceptual understanding was 0.326, while creativity was -0.187. These findings indicate that self-confidence can strengthen or weaken the relationship between conceptual understanding and creativity with problem-solving ability, so that strengthening students' self-confidence is an important aspect in science learning.

Abstract

This study raises a theme that actually has a strong relevance to the psychological development of children. It is gender inclusiveness where the purpose of this material is to provide a basic understanding of the attitudes that children should have in relation to the relationship between men and women. The approach in this study uses discourse analysis which is divided into 3. (1) macro, which studies the global meaning of a text that can be observed. (2) superstructure, which is discourse related to the framework of a text. (3) microstructure, which is the essence of discourse seen from the micro part of a sentence. Furthermore, in general, what can be concluded from this research is the mission that the main subject wants to convey in the storytelling of the novel. First, the resistance to the patriarchal system. Second, the exploration of women's attitudes in carrying out their responsibilities both in the domestic and public sectors, which actually do not need to be positioned as second or third. In addition, this material is also in line with the theory built by Vygotsky, namely the concept of socioculture and scaffolding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis lebih mendalam bagaimana strategi SD Ma'arif dalam membangun citra merek sehingga benar-benar dipercaya oleh masyarakat. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan paradigma fenomenologi dengan jenis studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang hubungan masyarakat, dan tim guru serta tenaga kependidikan yang ditunjuk sebagai tim pengembang sekolah. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan konsep Miles, Huberman dan Saldana yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, SD Ma’arif Ponorogo tidak memiliki strategi bermacam-macam untuk membangun brand image di mata masyarakat. Namun, ia menegaskan bawa melakukan segenap tugasnya dengan maksimal sebagaimana mestinya. Antara lain, promosi sekolah ketika masa PPDB dan berlangsung sewajarnya, mempertahankan dan memupuk identitas sekolah, serta senantiasa menjaga kualitas pendidikannya.

Abstract

 This research aims to produce a feasible module, to determine student responses to the module that has been developed, and to determine the improvement in students' spatial reasoning after using the module that was developed. The development model in this research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model in producing products. The results of the material expert assessment show that the module that has been developed has decent and very good quality with a score of 93.3%.  The results of the media expert assessment show that the module developed has decent and very good quality with a score of 87%. The results of the learning expert assessment showed that the module developed was of decent and very good quality with a score of 92%. Meanwhile, the results of the language expert's assessment showed that the module developed was of decent and very good quality with a score of 92%. The results of student responses show that what was developed was of decent and very good quality with a score of 77.5%.  And the module developed is effective in improving students' spatial reasoning as shown by an n-gain score of 0.71 in the high category or 71% so that the module is in the effective category in improving spatial reasoning.
