Abstract

This study aimed to know (1) the use of demonstration method could improve learning motivation of cooling system and (2) the use of demonstration method could improve learning motivation. This study was an action research. Data collection techniques used documentation and test. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and quantitative to know percentage of learning achievement. This study shows that (1) the use of demonstration method could improve learning motivation of cooling system. The students were used to learn by using demonstration method and they showed their activeness in learning process. (2)  The use of demonstration method could improve learning motivation. The average score of pre cycle was 56.25, cycle I was 63.28, cycle II was 72.81, and cycle III was 81.56.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktik kerja industri terhadap minat berwirausaha pada siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar praktek siswa terkait minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta, (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktek industri dan motivasi terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta 2013/2014. .Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2013/ 2014 pada tanggal 29 juli s.d 12 november 2013. Sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, berdasarkan Homograf Harry King didapatkan 75 siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta dari 108 siswa yang di lakukan secara acak menggunakan undian. Validitas butir pernyataan diperoleh dari Korelasi product moment. Reliabilitas pernyataan diperoleh dengan rumus alpha cronbach, hasil rtt motivasi belajar praktik 0,464 dan minat berwirausaha 0,615 dan dinyatakan reliabel. Sebelum data dianalisis terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji prasarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, dan uji linieritas Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi parsial dan analisis regresi ganda.Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara prestasi praktik industri dengan minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul. (2) adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul. (3) adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara prestasi praktik industri dan motivasi belajar terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar perawatan dan perbaikan sistem starter dengan metode pembelajaran active learning pada siswa kelas XII program keahlian teknik otomotif SMK Assalafiyah Tegal dan (2) meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran mata pelajaran perawatan dan perbaikan sistem starter dengan metode pembelajaran active learning pada siswa kelas XII SMK Assalafiyah Tegal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) metode active learning berbantukan simulasi peragaan starter cutting and jobsheet interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Assalafiyah Tegal. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai pada masing-masing siklus. Nilai rata-rata tes siklus I ada peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 59,58 pada pra-tindakan menjadi 62,92. Hasil tes siklus II nilai rata-rata pre test siswa adalah 70,83 dan nilai rata-rata post test adalah 78,54 dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 95,83%. Ini berarti telah melebihi 20,83% dari harapan peneliti yang mentargetkan 75%. (2) Metode pembelajaran active learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran mata pelajaran perawatan dan perbaikan sistem stater dengan pada siswa kelas XII SMK Assalafiyah Tegal. Aktifitas siswa dapat dilihat dari peran siswa dalam kegiatan praktik dengan pemerataan kemampuan masing-masing siswa pada setiap kelompok sehingga kegiatan praktik berjalan sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran yang telah diformulasikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find motivation; 1) improving student learning a measuring instrument in a class x through a method of inkuiri; 2) improving student learning outcomes a measuring instrument in a class x inkuiri study program through a method of vocational skills mechanical automotive Tamansiswa Jetis Yogyakarta years lessons 2014 and 2015 .A kind of this research included in the category of research the act of class (classroom action research). In this research, class x vocational students Tamansiswa Jetis Yogyakarta were 30 students in each class. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and poll. Poll here used to measure the interest of students learning to a measuring instrument. Tests using about learning to know the value of intermediate a measuring instrument. The technique of analysis of data using tests and observation that be done every cycle, 1 start from the cycle, 2 and 3, by doing the analysis to determine the average test scores, increasing (gain).Research result indicates that; (1) the learned in the method inkuiri using measuring instrument for each cycle shows increasing significantly; (2) the learned in the method inkuiri using measuring instrument for each cycle shows increasing significantly; (3) the increase in the motivation and learning measuring instrument graders X SMK Tamansiswa Jetis are the lessons 2014 - 2015.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to understand about correlate between of practical facility utilization and students interest with students achievement on automotive electrical base. This research was ex-post facto. The population of this research was students of class X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah Suruh Kecamatan Suruh Kabupaten Semarang at year of 2014/2015. The sample was determined by proportional random sampling. Data was collected by using questionnaire and documentation. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis and bicorrelation analysis. Prerequisite analysis test were normality test, linierity test and multicolinierity test. The result of this research indicated that: there is a positive and significantly correlation between of practical facility utilization with students achievement  were  and coefficient of partial correlation ; there is a positive and significantly correlation between of students interest with students achievement  were  and coefficient of partial correlation  ; there is a positive and significantly correlation between of practical facility utilization and students interest with students achievement  were  and coefficient of bicorrelation . practical facility utilization and students interest contributing simultaneously and significantly with students achievement by  .

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out (1) the correlation  between students’ learning styles and measuring equipment achievement of the tenth grade students of Automotive Engineering Expertise Program of State Vocational High School Piri Sleman in the academic year 2013/2014; (2) the correlation between parents’ attention with measuring equipment achievement of the tenth grade students of Automotive Engineering Expertise Program of State Vocational High School Piri Sleman in the academic year 2013/2014; (3) the correlation between students’ learning styles and parents’ attention with measuring equipment achievement of the tenth grade students of Automotive Engineering Expertise Program of State Vocational High School Piri Sleman in the Academic Year 2013/2014.The kind of this research is correlation study and categorized as ex post facto. The population of the research was 105 students while the sample was 82 students counted from Isaac and Michael formula. The technique of sampling used in this research was simple random sampling. The technique of the data collection was questionnaire and documentation. Item validity was computed from product moment correlation. Item reliability was calculated by using alpha formula. The technique of data analysis used in this study was partial correlation and doubled correlation analyses. Precondition testing analysis (normality, linearity, and multi co linearity testing),Based on the data analysis, the results were as follows: (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between students’ learning styles (X1) and measuring equipment achievement (Y); (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between parents’ attention (X2) with measuring equipment achievement (Y); (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between students’ learning styles (X1) and parents’ attention (X2) with measuring equipment achievement (Y).

Implementation Method TSTS (two stay two stray) To Increase Motivation and Learning Outcomes Repairs Engine Following The Components Class X Engineering Motorcycles SMK Tamansiswa Nanggulan in academic year 2015/2016. Essay. Study Program of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Education, University Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, Yogyakarta, 2016.The purpose of this research is knowing the process of implementing the method TSTS (two stay two stray) in an effort to enhance the liveliness and results of learning and determine whether the implementation of the method TSTS (two stay two stray) can enhance the liveliness and results of learning especially on learning improvement of engine and its components. This research is Classroom Action Research. Subject in this research were students of class X Motorcycle Engineering SMK Tamansiswa Nanggulan Kulon Progo, which has 21 students. The object of this research is the implementation process of the liveliness and the results obtained from the method TSTS on lesson improvement of engine and its components. Data collection techniques in this research conducted by observation and testing techniques. Data analysis technique implementation is done by qualitative descriptive . The results showed that after the applied method TSTS, liveliness and results of learning in lesson improvements engine and its components are increased so that the results of learning of students also increased. Results liveliness pre-test is 42% and after the action the cycle I 47%, the cycle II 65%, and the cycle III 76%. The percentage of whose value increases the cycle I 71%, the cycle II 75%, and the cycle III 85%. The response of students to the method TSTS (two stay two stray) was excellent. Looks percentage of every aspect with very high qualifications

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh Prestasi Praktik Motor Otomotif terhadap Minat Berwiraswasta siswa Kelas XI Mekanik Otomotif SMK N I Nglipar, (2) Pengaruh Prestasi Praktik Kerja Industri terhadap Minat Berwiraswasta siswa, (3) Pengaruh Prestasi Praktik Motor Otomotif dan Prestasi Praktik Kerja Industri secara bersama-sama terhadap Minat Berwiraswasta Siswa Kelas XI Mekanik Otomotif SMK N I Nglipar Wonosari Tahun Pelajaran 2011/ 2012. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian diskriptif dengan metode “Expost Facto”. Tempat penelitian di SMK N I Nglipar Wonosari siswa kelas XI tahun pelajaran 2011/ 2012. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dengan metode survei, teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner (angket) dan dokumentasi berupa nilai hasil prestasi praktik motor otomotif dan prestasi praktik kerja industri yang berjumlah 69 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Teknik sampel ditentukan dengan tabel Krejcie yang didasarkan atas kesalahan 5%. Teknik analisa adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif prestasi praktik motor otomotif terhadap minat berwiraswasta siswa kelas XI Mekanik Otomotif SMK N I Nglipar Wonosari Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012, (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif prestasi praktik kerja industri terhadap minat berwiraswasta Siswa Kelas XI Mekanik Otomotif SMK N I Nglipar Wonosari, (3) Prestasi praktik kerja industri dan prestasi praktik motor otomotif secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat berwiraswasta siswa kelas XI Mekanik Otomotif SMK N I Nglipar Wonosari Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Prestasi praktik motor otomotif dan prestasi praktik kerja industri memberikan kontribusi terhadap minat berwiraswasta sebesar 126,6%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activity through the hydraulic system of Jigsaw Learning method in class X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 1 KarangmojoThis study is an action research (PTK). The subjects were students of class X of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Karangmojo TKR. Data was collected through observation, interviews, field notes, and nontes testing, documentation, and analysis of documents. This study consisted of three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) the action plan; (2) the implementation of the action; (3) observation; and (4) reflection and revision. Data analysis was performed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative skills is to describe the hydraulic system before and after the implementation of the action. The validity of the data obtained through validity (the validity of the results, the validity of the process, the validity of the dialogic, democratic validity) and reliability.The results showed that there is an increase in the hydraulic system of learning activities in class class X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Karangmojo through Learning through Jigsaw method. This increase is reflected by an increase in the quality of the process and outcomes of learning activities hydraulic system. The increase reflected the quality of the increasing activity of students during the lesson. Improved quality of results reflected increased average value of the hydraulic system of students' learning activities before and after the action. Average ability of students before and after the action was 63.33 subject to measures for cycle three times the average value of students rose to 78.93. This shows that there has been growing positive attitude in students' learning activities so that the ability of the hydraulic system began to increase. Hydraulic system enhancements increase of 15.6 or 24.63%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the activeness and learning outcome of class XI TKR students of SMK Muhammadiyah Gampingin the academic year of 2014/2015 by applying the discussion method with assist media of animation on the Engine Fuel System subject.This study was a classroom action research conducted by applying the discussion method with assist media of animationin SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping in the academic year of 2014/2015. There were 28 students as the subjects of this study. This study was conducted in three cycles, in which every cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The techniques applied in collecting data were observation sheet to measure the students’ learning activeness, and the instrument of test in the form of multiple choice questions divided into pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of the students’ learning outcome.The result showed that the application of the discussion method with assist media of animation could increase the students’ activeness and learning outcome in the Engine Fuel System subject of class XI SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. It could be seen from the average number of the students’ activeness on cycle I that was 42,85%, increased to 48,72% on cycle II, then itreached up to 57,64% on cycle III. Mean while, the average number of the learning outcome on cycle I was 43,92 with the lowest score of 35, the highest score of 75, and there were only two students who passed the minimum completeness criteria KKM. The average number increased on the cycle II, reaching up to 65,35 with the lowest score of 55, the highest score 75, and seven students passed the KKM. Then, on cycle III, it increased again to the number of 76,25 with the lowest score of 65, the highest score of 85, and 25 out of 28 students passed the KKM. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the discussion method with assist media of animation can improve the students’ activeness and learning outcome in the Motor Fuel System subject of class XI SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping.
