Abstract

The aim of this research to know the error of problem solving in trigonometry. This research used the qualitative descriptive, with the subject of research is 80 students who were taken be based on purposive sampling. The procedure of the data was used by the think out louds. Technically the analysis of the data that was used was (1) studied all the data’s that were gathered, (2) studied results of the work of the student in resolving the problem of trigonometry, (3) carried out the verification from the data. The checking of the legality of the data used the triangulation. The first and second stage of error was the concept, the third stage of error was the algorithm, and the fourth stage of error was habits and Confirmation of the answer. Keyword: error,  problem solving,  trigonometry

Abstract

Masih terbatasnya guru yang menerapkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa disebabkan bukan karena pembelajaran tersebut tidak dapat diimplementasikan, melainkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa memiliki tantangan akademik tersendiri yang memerlukan tekad dan usaha dari guru. Artikel ini mengungkapkan hasil pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PBL) untuk siswa SMK jurusan Multimedia untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh model pembelajaran tersebut meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Borg dan Gall, 2003) dengan model modifikasi Sukmadinata (2010). Data diperoleh melalui observasi, analisis dokumen dan wawancara mendalam, serta dianalisis menggunakan model analisis kualitiatif  Miles, Huberman dan Saldana (2014). Model yang dikembangkan divalidasi melalui diskusi kolaboratif dan penilaian ahli. Model (course grid) yang dikembangkan mencakup kompetensi dasar, indikator, tujuan pembelajaran, materi, aktivitas pembelajaran, penilaian dan media. Tahapan PBL meliputi spekulasi, perancangan proyek, pelaksanaan proyek, dan evaluasi. Alat penilaian berupa tugas individu, lembar progres dan rubrik proyek. Hasil ujicoba model mengungkapkan bahwa siswa terlibat secara signifikan selama proses pengerjaan proyek dan presentasi. Tantangan dari PBL adalah siswa memerlukan waktu yang relatif panjang untuk menyelesaikan produk proyek mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to : (1) describe the education multicultural through the education based on culture and art at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta, (2) identify obstacle in applying the education multicultural through the education based on culture and art at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta, and (3) find solutions to overcome the obstacles in education multicultural through the education based on culture and art at SD Tama Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. This was a qualitative research. In order to gain data, the researcher used interview, direct observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used steps of Miles and Huberman’ model such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification, while the data validation included internal validation, external validation, reliability and objectivity. The result of the research showed that (1) education multicultural based on culture and art at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta was not taught in a special  lesson but integrated into  lessons (intracurricular) such as Ketamansiswaan, Pkn, SBK, SeniTari, Batik, Bahasa Indonesia, Karawitan, Tembang and BahasaJawa. Discoveringthe multicultural values and culture and art through self-developed activity was done by creating a condusive school culture and extracurricular activities which include dolanan anak, senilukis, bahasa jawa, pencaksilat, pramuka, drumband and pianika. (2) The obstacles experienced were low teacher competence, difficulties in learning bahasa jawa, the minimum of learning media and facilities, the influence of students’ association outside school and technology, and special need students. The strategies to overcome the obstacle are increasing the professionalism quality of the teacher. It can be done by making meeting once in three months and giving professional training at local and national levels, using two language system (Java language and Indonesia language) in learning bahasaj awa,  making a meeting between teachers and parents once in six months, making rules to limit the using of handphone at school, working together with parents to supply teacher for the special need students.Key words: Education multicultural, culture and art, multicultural values.

Abstract

Pendidikan dianggap sebagai sistem persekolahan. Sistem ini hanya melihat hubungan struktural antar bagian  seperti guru, siswa, kurikulum dan sarana prasarana. Namun ternyata lembaga pendidikan dapat dilihat lebih dari itu yaitu sebagai sebuah tempat dalam melakukan transformasi budaya. Lembaga pendidikan dan transformasi budaya tidak dapat dipisahkan karena keduanya terkait dengan nilai. Lembaga pendidikan dapat disamakan dengan sistem sosial karena didalamnya terjadi proses sosialisasi. Tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan kontribusi berupa konsep dalam melakukan transfer nilai sehingga membentuk karakter melalui lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa menurut teori perkembangan budaya Van Peursen maka diharapkan lembaga pendidikan dapat memposisikan diri sebagai tahap fungsional. Pada tahap ini lembaga pendidikan sebagai agen transformasi nilai harus berfungsi dalam memberikan nilai-nilai yang dianut oleh masyarakat. Dalam melakukan proses pembudayaan nilai agar terbentuk menjadi karakter dapat menggunakan pendapat dari Pierre Bourdieu mengenai Habitus. Lembaga pendidikan dapat melakukan pembiasaan melalui beberapa kegiatan. Pembiasaan dapat dilakukan melalui interaksi sosial antar warga sekolah (lembaga pendidikan). Pembiasaan yang telah mengakar menjadi pembudayaan harus dijaga dengan kontrol yang dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

Progress of The ceramic crafts at Kanagarian Andaleh its have flux and reflux. One time the progress is very good, and at other times back down.These progress have effect on the economic, social and cultural life of the community in Kanagari Andaleh. The perceived economic effect can be seen through an improving life. The craftsmen began to enjoy the results of his work as a craftsman with a high enough value. The perceived social effect is a harmonious cooperation between artisans appear in the effort of mutual filling and learning in solving problems. Interaction between craftsmen always synergize, this is formulated in a more varied work. This interaction between craftsmen has a wide effect on enrichment of ideas and creativity on craftsmen. Ceramic crafts are often also used as indicators of social status strata in the community. This can be seen from the ceramic craft products used, both for the needs of secular life and spiritual life. High quality ceramic craft products will belong to people who have higher economic capability. In addition to investment goods, ceramic craft products will also affect the prestige and dignity of the people who have it.Keywords : Progress, ceramic

Abstract

Mobilitas di era globalisasi saat ini sudah semakin tinggi. Individu bepergian dari satu tempat ke tempat lain sudah bukan lagi hal yang aneh. Ada berbagai alasan individu bepergian, mulai dari bekerja, mengungsi, berwisata ataupun menempuh pendidikan. Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP), salah satu perguruan tinggi yang terletak di wilayah Banyumas yang secara umum mahasiswa di UMP dapat dikategorikan menjadi tiga yaitu mahaiswa dari Jawa, luar Jawa dan mahasiswa asing. Para mahasiswa dihadapkan dengan kondisi sosial dan budaya yang baru, kondisi yang berbeda dengan daerah asal mereka yang dari luar Jawa terlebih dari luar negeri. Penelitian ini akan meneliti dan menganalisis hambatan seperti apa yang dihadapi para mahasiswa serta strategi apa yang mereka lakukan untuk bisa berdaptasi dengan kondisi yang ada di UMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa dari luar jawa dan mahasiswa asing UMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan yang dialami para informan yaitu 1) kurangnya informasi awal mengenai UMP; 2) Perbedaan makanan, 3) Homesick (merindukan kampung halaman), 4) Perbedaan Agama dan Bahasa. Strategi adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa asing dan luar Jawa di UMP adalah: 1) Akomodasi bahasa, makanan dan agama; 2) Melakukan hobi yang disukai; dan 3) Menghubungi keluarga.Keyword : strategi adaptasi, sosial budaya

Abstract

This research is aimed to study criminal profiling perpetrator of child sexual exploitation in Yogyakarta. The problem statement was applying psychological knowledge in criminal profiling perpetrator of child’s sexual exploitation and to assist finding the runaway perpetrator from law action. The subjects of this research are four girls victim of sexual exploitation. This research used a qualitative approach, which data was collected with varying methods such as: open observation, open interviews (subjects and informant) and grafist test. This was done to focus on multi-methods, multi-source and multi-contacts to satisfy the validity and reability. Results showed that the four perpetrators which are two of them individual perpetrator and two other are group perpetrator (syndicate) were identified had profil or special charachteristics (biologist/physiologist, psychologies and socio-cultural) and determinition (method and crime action,   modus operandi and signiture) in their crime action. The perpetrators were attached with asocial/antisocial behaviors and addict behaviors (alcohol consumption, drug and sex) which had high tendency to repeat their criminal actions. Therefore all child’s sexual perpetrators were not revealed, get caught and legal processes, there would be more child victims in the future. Keywords: Criminal Profiling, Perpetrator, Sexual

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan kajian dari ajaran Ki Hajar Dewantara dan nilai-nilai agama yang diimplementasikan di dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuannya untuk membina karakter siswa agar tidak mudah terpengaruh budaya negatif bangsa lain. Pada dasarnya, integrasi antara agama dan ajaran Ki Hajar Dewantara dapat direalisasikan, dan hal itu sesuai dengan kemampuan berpikir 4Cs. Tamansiswa selaku organisasi yang didirikan oleh Ki Hajar Dewantara seharusnya menjadi pemrakarsa dan penggerak dalam pembinaan karakter.

Abstract

Originally early childhood education to be held without programmed, especially in the family, and not based now increasingly required adequate knowledge about how children grow, develop and learn. The situation was still happening on the implementation of early childhood education in our country, even though research has shown how important provision since early childhood stimulation to optimize its development as an adult. Theories on Early Childhood Education will contribute a teacher in addressing the development of the child. In addition, teachers will know and understand how to give treatment at an Early Age Anaka. Then, with the understanding that all of it, especially in the field of how the teacher will provide activities in lanpangan melihan how the course will teach all the educational theory. Abstract

This research aimed to identify the misconceptions of physics teacher candidates in dynamic electrical materials using EDCT (Electric Dynamic Concept Test) instruments with CRI (Certainty of Response Index). This research included analytical descriptive research with 28 research subjects from Physics Education Departement, FKIP UST Yogyakarta. This research was conducted at the end of the even semester of 2015/2016 academic year. The instrument used in this research was in multiple choice test form with four alternative answers that have been completed with CRI. Item test was about 25 questions. The results of this study indicated that the students who mastered the concept was about 21.43%, the students who did not know the concept was about 21.43%, and the students who experienced misconception was about 57.14%.Keywords : miskonsepsi, dinamic electric, EDCT instrument, CRI.
