Abstract

Analogi memainkan peran yang sangat penting sebagai salah satu strategi pengajaran sains (fisika) dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Strategi ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu metode alternatif untuk mengatasi hambatan komunikasi belajar antara guru dan siswa, khususnya jika siswa menghadapi kesulitan belajar dalam hal memahami materi ajar baru namun memiliki kemiripan alur berpikir dengan materi ajar sebelumnya. Artikel ini akan memperkenalkan dan membahas dua konsep utama, yaitu: konsep rujukan, materi ajar yang sudah dipahami sebelumnya oleh siswa; dan konsep target, materi ajar yang akan dipahamkan kepada siswa. Pembahasan kedua pada konsep tersebut akan disertai dengan beberapa contoh kasus dalam pengajaran fisika di sekolah. Tidak menutup kemungkinan bagi para guru di kelas, juga bagi para calon guru fisika, untuk memanfaatkan metode alternatif ini sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir siswa. Selain itu, juga untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan menghindari kesalahpahaman (miskonsepsi) bagi guru itu sendiri. Dengan demikian, pengayaan materi bahan ajar tidak hanya dapat dilakukan melalui latihan soal berulang dan berjenjang, melainkan juga dapat dilakukan dengan memperkenalkan paradigma baru agar diperoleh wawasan pemahaman materi ajar yang lebih luas dan komprehensif.Kata kunci: analogi, pengajaran dengan analogi (Teaching with Analogy, TWA).

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the misconceptions of physics teacher candidates in dynamic electrical materials using EDCT (Electric Dynamic Concept Test) instruments with CRI (Certainty of Response Index). This research included analytical descriptive research with 28 research subjects from Physics Education Departement, FKIP UST Yogyakarta. This research was conducted at the end of the even semester of 2015/2016 academic year. The instrument used in this research was in multiple choice test form with four alternative answers that have been completed with CRI. Item test was about 25 questions. The results of this study indicated that the students who mastered the concept was about 21.43%, the students who did not know the concept was about 21.43%, and the students who experienced misconception was about 57.14%.Keywords : miskonsepsi, dinamic electric, EDCT instrument, CRI.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of experimental methods to electrical circuit material in elementary schools. Type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection methods are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis uses triangulation. Application of experimental methods to electrical circuit material in elementary schools by the planned steps. Observation results showed that the teacher had carried out learning activities by carrying out experimental method steps and making students active in learning. In documentation analysis, some students carried out activities according to the plan and understood the concepts well. In the questionnaire results, it was found that most students were interested in learning activities using experimental methods. Based on data analysis, it was found that the experimental method made students actively participate in learning activities and were interested in experimental activities.

Abstract

The Project Based Learning learning model and the TPACK concept and its application to learning in schools will have a positive impact on science and science learning in elementary schools. In practice, teachers are not used to using this method but are used to using traditional student center learning. This research aims to describe the application of Project Based Learning with the TPACK approach in science and science learning for class V at SD Negeri 3 Karangwuni. In this application, the teacher acts as a facilitator and companion for students in carrying out the project, while students act as active learners who look for solutions to the challenges given. In this case the researcher uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a phenomenological type of research which will describe the process of implementing learning. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, giving tests and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model with the TPACK approach in science and science learning in class 5 of SD Negeri 3 Karangwuni has gone well and is in accordance with the school's vision and mission. The positive impact is that learning becomes more interesting, improves students' academic and non-academic achievements, learning is not boring, and teachers are more creative.

Abstract

This research aims to improve teacher activity, student activity, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes using the PBL model with the TPACK approach based on interactive media. This research used PTK which was carried out in 3 meetings. The research was carried out in class IV of SDN 1 Kaloran Temanggung in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research results showed that the teacher's activity at the first meeting got a score of 21, the second meeting got a score of 24, and the third meeting got a score of 27. From the first to the third meeting, student activity increased. The classical completeness of students' learning outcomes at the first meeting increased by 30% to 100%. Their critical thinking skills increased by 26% to 100% at the third meeting. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the combination of the PBL learning model with the TPACK approach based on interactive media can increase teacher activity, student activity, learning outcomes and critical thinking skills for class IV students at SDN 1 Kaloran.

Abstract

This research aims to develop flipbook learning media for science subjects based on Project Based Learning (PJBL) and analyze its effect on student activity. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the IDDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). The research subjects were 20 class V students at SD N 2 Batursari. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires and tests. The research results show that the flipbook learning media for PJBL-based science and science subjects has been well developed and has a positive influence on student activity. This is proven by the increase in students' observation, questionnaire and test scores after participating in learning using flipbook media. The development of flipbook learning media in science and science subjects based on PJBL can be an alternative to increase students' activeness in learning science. This learning media can help students understand learning material more easily and pleasantly.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of differentiated learning using the Problem Based Learning model and the obstacles and solutions in learning material in the form of objects and their changes in science and science learning for grade IV elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. This research began with an analysis of student needs, including mapping learning needs based on three aspects, namely learning readiness, learning interest, and student learning profile. Second, plan learning as outlined in differentiated teaching modules based on mapping results, namely providing various choices of strategies, materials and ways of learning. The differentiation learning strategy used includes content and process differentiation. The next step is to evaluate and reflect on the learning that has taken place, this is used to improve future learning. Differentiated learning using the Problem Based Learning model on material forms of objects and changes carried out in class 4 of SD Negeri 2 Banyuurip, Temanggung is very effective, this can be seen from the activeness of students in participating in learning, apart from that the increase in student learning outcomes has also increased. However, they also encounter obstacles such as requiring a lot of time, limited resources, and teachers' skills in managing the class. To overcome this, the teacher and the principal hold learning reflections to improve so that further learning becomes more effective.

Abstract

This research was carried out to improve the conceptual understanding of fourth grade students at SD N 1 Tleter by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. The method used is classroom action research. The subjects of this research were class IV students with a total of 12 students and was carried out in 2 cycles. The data collection method used is test questions to measure students' critical thinking skills and understanding of concepts. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to learning during research, it can improve students' critical thinking skills in learning activities in the learning process in cycle I. The class average obtained was 70.83 with the number of students still below the KKM. was 4 people and in the second cycle it increased to 82.5. There is 1 student who has not yet completed.

Abstract

The pupose of this study was to increase students attention and learning outcomes on social studies learning content through the project based learning approach in class IV at SDN Guntur temanggung. The research subjects were student of class IV with 10 students consist of male 6 students, female 4 students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that student learning outcomes increase with increasing student attention and interes in social studies learning materials through a project-based learning approach. This can be sen from the student learning outcomes in the form of learning completeness. The conclusion of this study shows that the Project Based Learning model can increase interest and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of  SDN Guntur Temanggung. The purpose of this research is to improve science learning outcomes with the help of project-based learning models.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model based on digital media in increasing the learning motivation of fourth grade students of SDN Tegowanuh. This research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were fourth grade students of SDN Tegowanuh, totaling 17 students. Data on students' IPAS learning motivation were collected through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. Based on the results of data analysis, in cycle I, the average student's science learning motivation after participating in learning by applying the digital media-based Problem Based Learning learning model was 140 and was in the high category. The percentage of classical completeness is 82%. In cycle II, the average learning motivation of IPAS students increased to 150 and was in the very high category. The percentage of classical completeness is 94%. This shows that the PBL model based on digital media is effective in increasing the learning motivation of fourth grade students of SDN Tegowanuh.
