Abstract

This study aims to explain the creative economy phenomenon in Bengkalis City, explain the existing obstacles from the aspects of Administration, Technical, Operations and Management of Creative Industry entrepreneurs, analyze interventions through policies that have been carried out by the government, then describe development strategies that can be carried out by the Bengkalis government. The Research method was exploratory, where the process of mapping the obstacles in the creative economy industrial applications using purposive sampling technique that involves creative Indutri players. then doing descriptive analysis techniques related to government policies and strategies in developing the creative economy in Bengkalis City. The results of the Mapping constraints are from the aspek of ATOM (Administration, Technical, Operasional, anda Management) shows the constraints most felt by Creative Industry players, namely regulation of raw materials, especially the industrial subsector that relies on natural resources (administrative aspecst), high risk due to product failure (goods/ services) offered to the market (technical aspects), the scarcuty and high cost of raw materials to produce their business product (operasional aspects), and the existence of limited creative economy business in getting skilled employees who want to pursue the creative work of the business (management aspects). A number of breakthroughs that have been taken by the government are by implementing provincial or regional scale policies, which provide business protection, create business climate, and develop the creative economy. As well as creating the Riau Creative Network Agency to further optimize the development of the creative economy and aspects of its promotion. The development strategy needs to be done which has the aim so that the existing policies and strategies are more adaptive according to the needs of the city of Bengkalis and respond to existing challenges and constraints. Keywords: Creatice Economy, Goverments strategy, Development Strategy, Small Medium Entreprices (SMEs).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the degree of fiscal decentralization on economic growth in the South West Region of Aceh Province for the period 2011-2019. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) and districts/cities in the South West region of Aceh Province, as well as from related agencies that have relevance to the subject matter of this research. This study uses a simple linear regression analysis model. The variables used are economic growth (dependent variable) and fiscal decentralization (independent variable). The results showed that the degree of fiscal decentralization in the South West Aceh region had a positive effect on economic growth in the South West Aceh. It is hoped that the District / City Governments of the South West of Aceh Province can increase economic growth, and explore productive and potential economic sectors that can influence the degree of fiscal decentralization in the South West Region of Aceh Province. Keywords: Economic Growth, Fiscal Decentralization.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of implementing a regional financial information system (SIKD) on the quality of internal services using emotional intelligence as an intervening variable. The research was conducted by the local government work unit (SKPD) in the Banda Aceh government. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires to 170 employees who were taken by proportional sampling according to SKPD. Using structural equation modeling as a data analysis model, the study found that the implementation of SIKD had a positive and significant effect on employee emotional intelligence and internal service quality. The existence of emotional intelligence not only has a significant effect on improving the quality of internal services, but also mediates the effect of implementing SIKD on the internal services quality of SKPD.Keywords: internal services quality, employee’s emotional intelligence, implementation of SIKD, Structural equation modeling

Abstract

This research is to know the effect of firm size, and financial leverage to Income Smoothing practices is Islamic Banks.  The data used is the secondary data with sourced from annual report data published by Islamic commercial banks and syariah business unit during 2016-2018 periods, samples research are 54 (fifty four) bank. Data analysis method using eviews with the fixed effect model. The result of the research shows that the simultan firm size and financial leverage have significant effect on Income Smoothing in Islamic banks.the partially, firm size an financial leverage has a positive and significant effect on income smoothin practices in Islamic banks City. Abstract

The main focus of this research is to analyze the effect of information technology and service commitment to the implementation of the principles of good government governance (GGG) and its impact on employee performance. The research was conducted at a number of the local government work unit (SKPD) within the Banda Aceh government. Collecting data through distributing questionnaires to 170 employees. Then the data were analyzed using multivariate statistics structural equation modeling. The study found a positive and significant effect of information technology and service commitment on GGG implementation and employee performance. The existence of GGG implementation not only has a positive impact on performance improvement, but also mediates the effect of information technology and service commitment on employee performance. Keywords: Employee’s performance, GGG implementation, information technology, services commitment, structural equation modelling.

Abstract

This study analyzes the functional relationship between the efficiency of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) and the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) as a variable predictor. Using panel dataset of 6 BUS listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2018 period, the fixed effect panel regression model was used to analyze the relationship between variables. This study proves that the simultaneous implementation of GCG consisting of the proportion of share ownership, size of board, and board composition have a significant effect on the efficiency of BUS. Partially, the proportion of share ownership and the boad composition have a positive and significant effect, on the other hand, the board size has no significant effect on the efficiency of BUS. Keywords: Efficiency of sharia commercial bank, implementation of GCG and panel regression

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of regional gross domestic product, non-performing loans, and loan interest rates on credit absorption by SMEs in Aceh province in the long term. The data used is secondary data in the form of a quarter 1st quarter 1995 to third quarter 2015. The model used in this study is a model of Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to find out the results of short-term estimates, and using Johansen cointegration test to determine the relationship long-term between variables. The data used in this study has been tested with Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) to determine the stationary data. Based on this study it was found that in the long term there is a cointegration relationship between the variables studied. In the short term, the variables affecting the gross regional domestic product and has a one-way relationship with SME loans while variable interest rates have a causal relationship with SME loans in Aceh province, while the NPL variable does not have a causal relationship with SME loans. Keywords: SME Loans, Gross Domestic Product, Non Performimg Loan, Interest Rates, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM).

Abstract

Cryptocurrency or virtual currency is a form of investment that has developed since 2010. Today, there are more than 2,000 types of crypto currencies worldwide. Cryptocurrency research in Indonesia is still focused on the legal status and legal status of cryptocurrency investments. This quantitative descriptive study aims to describe the returns and risks of investing in crypto currencies. Descriptive analysis by calculating risk measures and using the heteroscedastic model GARCH (1,1) was carried out on the return data of 15 crypto currencies that had the greatest value. Information was obtained that investing in most crypto currencies resulted in higher returns than investing in foreign currencies or the stock market. On the other hand, Crypto currencies have a higher risk of loss and volatility clustering or heteroscedasticity. Further research is needed to uncover the characteristics of Crypto currency returns and their performance in the form of a portfolio.
