This study set a goal to describe the characteristics types of educational budget decision making in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The research was carried out over six months with research subjects: the Chairperson of the Ibu Pawiyatan Board, the Chairperson of the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Division, Teachers in the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, the treasury division, several staffs involved in the budgeting, parents involved in seeking funding sources, and people who were always critical in every decision making and budgeting, both at the level of the Mother Pawiyatan Board or in the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Division. Research data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using the Huberman and Miles version of the data analysis technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the characteristics of the decision making type in the principal's education budget are situational, sometimes using his authority, but in certain situations involving the subordinatesâ€™ point of view democratically.

PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA MELALUI MEDIA VISUAL PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI WIDORO Novy Trisnani; Wulan Tri Puji Utami

This study aims to improve the ability to understand the concept of the properties of the flat figure of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Widoro through visual learning media. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were grade IV students of SD Negeri Widoro as many as 30 students. Data collection techniques using tests, observations, and documentation. The instrument used in the form of learning achievement tests, concept understanding tests, and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative. The results of observation before the action showed that the average comprehension ability of students 'mathematical concepts was 65.67, which was included in the sufficient category. Then in the first cycle, the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts on average increased from the low to the high categories (understanding ability average concept of 74.48. To strengthen the observations of the first cycle, learning activities continued with the second cycle, the results of understanding the ability of mathematical concepts increased from 74.48 to 84.53 in the high category, while students' learning completeness in the first cycle was 73.33 in cycle II increased to 76.67 and has met the minimum completeness criteria in the material properties of flat shape. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the use of visual learning media can improve the understanding of mathematical concepts of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Widoro in the school year 2019/2020.

This study aims to: (1) Know and explain the application of the system among Ki Hadjar Dewantara through a pluralistic approach in classroom management, (2) Identifying various challenges faced in implementing the application of the Ki Hadjar Dewantara system through a pluralistic approach in classroom management, (3) Knowing and explaining the various efforts made to overcome obstacles in the application of the system among Ki Hadjar Dewantara through a pluralistic approach in classroom management. This research is a qualitative study conducted at the Timuran State Elementary School in Yogyakarta in June-December 2019. Data collection techniques used, namely: direct observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The Implementation of Among Ki Hadjar Dewantara's System in Classroom Management in Timuran State Elementary School has been going well, namely implemented through a pluralistic approach in which there are 5 types namely instructional approach, authoritarian approach, democratic approach, socio-emotional approach and also the group process approach. (2) several obstacles that become challenges for schools include: the competence of teachers who do not all understand the among systems and also classroom management, heterogeneous student characteristics, incomplete school facilities, and also the lack of support from parents of students. (3) Efforts made by schools to deal with problems include: There is a policy from the school principal to involve teachers in turns in a series of training or training. The teacher makes observation sheets of students to get to know. strengths and weaknesses of students. The school tries to embrace parents in every activity

This study examined character education in a different paradigm. In this case, character education was implemented through a variety of activities that existed in educational institutions, especially student coaching activities. Not all studentsâ€™ activities were able to instill the values of character education, so it was expected that through student coaching activities, character education could be achieved as it was formulated in the government regulations. The purpose of character education was to create students with good personalities. Once they grew up with an excellent character, the students would grow with their capacity and commitment to do the best things and do everything right and tended to have goals in life. Effective character education was found in a school environment that allowed all learners to show their potency to achieve significant goals. By doing so, character education in various student development activities could be connected and provided positive energy for the development of students in educational institutions. This research was a library study (library research) that utilizedliterary materials as the primary source and employed a qualitative approach. Therefore, the researcher exploredseveral data both primary and secondary data with concrete steps as follows: read and examine in-depth primary data such as books which are the results of the priorstudies, theses and dissertations related to character education and government regulations particularly the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 39 of 2008. Therefore, the implementation of character education in the activities of fostering learners became very important to revive the values of character to students that were still doubtful at this time. Thus, the Regulation of the Minister of National Education could be executedby what has been aspired so far.

Traditional games of a tribe had often not been known well in the last few decades, traditional games had been shifted to the digital ones that were imported from around the world. This study aimed at finding out how to implement educational values through the traditional game of the Sasak tribe in MI NW Loangawak, Mataram was. The method used was descriptive qualitative analysis. The subjects of this study were students, teachers, and school principals. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. To check the validity of the data, researchers used data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of educational values through traditional games was excellent, because traditional games substantially contained and were closely related to natural elements, both in terms of playgrounds, as well as playing tools used in traditional games, such as wooden sticks as raw material for gasing. It played an essential role in bringing people closer to their natural world and bringing a deeper understanding of the place, which they had made for dwellings, as ecological knowledge that was not only considered as a science and harmony of fellow human beings, but also as the soul of life.

Character education must be instilled continuously. The efforts to infuse character education in an educational environment could be made through the learning of drama. The teaching of drama conducted in the Undergraduate Study Program of Elementary School Teacher Education at Blitar Islamic University had not used drama scripts originating from the local wisdom around of Blitar; accordingly, the efforts to instill character through learning could not be maximally carried out. These efforts aimed to improve the quality of drama art learning through the development of the teaching materials based on the local wisdom in Blitar City and its surroundings. The local wisdom, in this case, encompassed both oral and non-verbal folklore around the City of Blitar. This research was a type of design research. The purpose of this research was to develop and provide product results that contributed positively to solve problems in the world of education. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PENUNJANG TEMATIK TERPADU BERBASIS KETERAMPILAN PROSES TEMA INDAHNYA KEBERSAMAAN UNTUK KELAS 4 SD/MI Rizka Nur Oktaviani; Putri Kurnianingtyas

The integrated thematic supporting book based on process skills that will be developedÂ to reduce students' dependence on teachers, provide direct learning experiences, can be a tool for students to learn about themselves and the environment, and can be applied independently by students to solve problems they meet in daily life. This type of research is categorized as a research development with a 4-D model that are defining, designing, developing, and distributing. The subjects in this study are integrated thematic support books based on process skills that are tested on fourth grade students in elementary school. The limited test is carried out on 10 students in grade IV Hidayatul Mubtadiin Pasuruan City who are randomly selected. Meanwhile, the field trial is conducted in three classes IV A Hidayatul Mubtadiin Pasuruan City, which Consist of 25 students. The research data are validity data, practicality data, and effectiveness data from integrated thematic supporting books. Furthermore, data collection is done through observation, questionnaires, and tests. Data Analysis is done by analyzing the level of validity and reliability, analyzing the level of difficulty, analyzing obstacles, analyzing the results of process skills, and analyzing student responses. The results obtained by the validity level of 3.63 and reliability of 0.97. Meanwhile, the level of difficulty of the book based on the percentage of difficult words, difficult sentences and difficult to understand images are 1.03%, 2.18%, and 10.83, respectively. The result of students 'process skills is analyzed with the t-test formula on the result of the students' pretest and posttest shows that the value of sig. (2- tailed) is 0,000. Because the value of sig. sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, it can be concluded that there are differences in the significance and response of students to the use of an overall book average of 97.73% which means the book is interesting.

EFEKTIVITAS MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE MAKE A MATCH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS V SD MUHAMMADIYAH KARANGPLOSO Siwi Purwanti; Nuraini Dwi Saputri

The background of this study is the low value of students in science subjects. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Make A Match cooperative learning model to the learning outcomes of the fifth grade science students at Muhammadiyah Elemantary School of Karangploso. This research is quasi-experimental, with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population isÂ all of fifth grade students which isÂ consisted of two classes with a total of students are 66 students. The data collection techniques for students' cognitive learning outcomes used test method. Initial data analysis used the normality test and homogeneity test. While the final data analysis used paired sample t-test.The results of this research are, the results obtained an average pretest value of 56,67 and an average posttest value of 74,04 with Std. Pretest deviation = 7,217 and Std. Posttest deviation = 8,770. The results of t-test calculations helped by using SPSS 23 with Î± = 0,05 and get the results that the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0,00 <0,05 and tcount = -10,514 with df which is 32 which means that ttable = 2,036. Tcount is negative because between the pretest and posttest values have quite a large differences, and in the cases like this, the negative value will be change to a positive value. This showed that tcount> ttable, then H1 is accepted or learning with Make A Match method is effective against student learning outcomes in science subjects in V class, with an average posttest score for the experimental class of 74,04.
