Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) To determine the effect of participation in the budgetary performance of Local Government Officers Batang Hari, the data collection method used survey method was used to obtain information from respondents by using interview techniques and disseminate a list of questions and using the measurement scale Likert. The population in this study is covering the whole head of SKPD, Number 52 stratified random sampling data with the allocation of two respondents each stratum, in this case on education as strata. Data analysis tool used is multiple regression method using computer assistance through the program SPSS 20.0 for windows.The results of the analysis show participation, positive and significant effect on the performance of local government officials. Keywords: Participation, Performance and Local Government Officials Batang Hari

Abstract

Fluctuation Percentage is amount of loaded chair from amount of available chair cause instability at income from operation and earnings. Fluctuation inPO. IFS Travel Jambi because of factor is lack of consumer motivation to do purchasing of service and lack activity of promotion. For company which active in transportation service, primary factor in most consumer in self stand a chance to cause sale volume fluctuation is the lack of consumer motivation do purchasing.In this research to know consumer motivation in doing purchasing atPO. IFS Travel used by Theory attributes Motivate Maslow or which is ordinary to be recognized with Hierarchy need of Maslow namely need of physiological, security need, social need,  appreciation need, and self actualication need. Key Word : Motivation, Hierarchy need theory of Maslow.

Abstract

Post a freight services company in Indonesia. Identified some of the problems encountered in customer loyalty is the use of Information Systems Services (e-mail) may be used less well by the customers Pos Indonesia. Quality of delivery services to good use by customers Pos Indonesia. Level of loyalty among customers at Pos Indonesia perceived less loyal. Quality of delivery of services to the level of customer loyalty among the less well used by customers Pos Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine effect of the use of e-mail and Postal Service Quality (e-mail) to the post of customer loyalty;This research method using the method of verification or causality methods to examine the relationship between variables. The population sample of 200 people with 133 people. Research Batam attractions post office to post office customer analytics unit. The data was obtained using a questionnaire and interviewed staff and leadership post office. Analysis Method regersi use the liner regression.The use of e-mail services and quality of service delivery affect the level of customer loyalty simultaneously at Pos Indonesia. The post office in Batam Centre is less attention to the balance of services offered Pos Indonesia to the customer so that e - mail to the Loyalty influential but less than optimal.Keywords: e - Pos, service quality, and loyalty.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Teluk Dawan village, East Tanjung Jabung District. The aim of this research was to know the farmer’s knowledge and skill of agricuture tecnology application. Beside the other aim was to analize the deferences of each variable on the deferent extention methode. Description methode which completed by simple random sampling (there were 30 respondents from 218 populations). The result of the research showed that the farmer’s knowledge score who used the  “group extention methode” (87,00% from the ideal score) was higher than that who used  the “visited extention method” (85,20% from the ideal score). The farmer’s skill score who used the “group extention methode” (84,00% from the ideal score) was lower than that who used the “visited extention method” (86,20% from the ideal score). Abstract

Applicability of Act No. 32 of 2004 on Regional Autonomy, which focuses on the district / city that gives broad authority, real and responsible to the area. The success of the implementation of regional autonomy is determined by the preparedness and ability of the region itself to manage and empower all potentials and resources available. In conjunction with the implementation of development in Bungo district, the civil servants in particular Bungo Bungo at the District Secretariat should also be able to improve the quality of work, in order to support the performance of the government to improve the quality of the extras in serving the community. Because employees are domiciled as an element of the State apparatus has a duty to provide services to the community in a professional, honest, fair and equitable in the administration of state duties, governance and development. In essence, civil servants is one of the main driving factors in the implementation of the development of both national and local levels.The purpose of this study alone, namely: 1) To determine the effect of competence on employee performance at the District Secretariat Bungo partially .; 2) To determine the effect of promotion to employee performance at the District Secretariat partially Bungo; and 3) To determine the effect of competence and promotion to employee performance at the District Secretariat Bungo simultaneously.This study used a descriptive method and quantitative analysis. The study population as many as 163 employees by the state in 2013, sampling technique in this research is based on a table Krejcie error of 5%, resulting in a study sample to 114 employees. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires. Technique using multiple linear regression analysis and testing continued with the R Square and partial hypothesis testing and simultaneous with the t test and F.Of multiple linear regression equations were conducted, the results of the study showed behold Competence (X1) and Promotion (X2) has an influence on employee performance. Where based on the results of t-test (partial) and F test (Simultaneous) showed behold Competence and promotion has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, where competence has a greater influence than the promotion in order to improve employee performance. This explains behold if the employee has a good competence in carrying out his job, and supported by the implementation of the promotion, it will be able to improve employee morale, thereby increasing the performance of the employees themselves in carrying out its duties and functions substantially.Keywords: Competence, Promotion and Employee Performance.

Abstract

This paper discusses the War Jambi - Johor in the perspective of social history. The writing is driven by the desire to show the history of Jambi in perspective methodology that is separated from the conventional historical approach. Through a historical approach strukturis Jambi war-Johor occurring within the period 1667 - 1679 are examined using the concepts of the social structure, agency, social change, and the causal power. Thus it is known that the presence of waterway which structurally is an important international shipping lanes. The conflict between the two eventually progress to a series of open war. Jambi's defeat in the war in 1679 has resulted in social change in the empire From the perspective of social history, conflict Jambi - Johor caused by the desire of both parties to seize hegemony in the waterway. The struggle for hegemony driven Jambi. These changes include the loss of Jambi position as the main pepper port on the East Coast of Sumatra, which followed the weakening of the authority of the empire. Weak sultanate authority has changed the role of the Orang Laut from the imperial forces become pirates. The existence of pirates has caused reluctance trader upstream (Minangkabau) to trade in Jambi, and therefore contributes greatly to the income of the sultan. Johor action is blocking the arrival of Jambi daughter as a wife as a young king to come to Johor Johor and disconnect from marriage, is a causal factor of open warfare that have an impact on social changeKeyword : war Jambi-Johor

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out whether there was a correlation between self regulated in learning and learning achievement of English department student at FKIP Unbari. Subject of this research was 70 students (30 male and 40 female) collected by purposive random sampling technique. There were 22 statement of self regulated learning distributed to subject. Statistical method pearson correlation was used to analyzed the correlation between two variable. It was found that coefficient correlation  rxy  -049 with significance value 0.688 (p≥0,01). Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze changes PT. Jamsostek (persero) into BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in realizing social security in indonesia and the implications of changes in PT. Jamsostek (persero) into BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for social security employment in indonesia. This study uses normative juridical research method using the conceptual approach and the approach of legislation later interpretation, judging and evaluation of all policies in the framework of the legal implications of social security as a result of changes in employment in indonesia PT. Jamsostek (persero)  into BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. The study results obtained changes in PT. Jamsostek (persero)  into BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in realizing social security in indonesia has a positive impact on employment embodiment of social security in indonesia by virtue of law no. 24 of 2011 on the social security agency, among others: changes in the organization of soes became a legal entity of public law entities; changes in the financial treatment in organizing body both in terms of the separation of assets, entities organizers and participants as well as financial reporting system is directly responsible to the president; changes in the coverage required in the protection provided by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of the formal labor protection for all labor and implications change PT. Jamsostek (persero) into BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for social security employment in indonesia provide adequate protection and is absolutely needed by all workers in indonesia in everyday life, including his family and for the country with the social security embodied accumulation of funds, involving the entire state and are thus becoming a national national savings and strengthen national resilience derived from the pooled fund managed by BPJS.Keywords: Implications, Change, Social Security Employment

Abstract

Principal performance against the various tasks and functions of the head of school as the principal as administrator edukator, Manager, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator is running optimally. The performance of teachers viewed from four aspects assessed i.e. completeness program teaching teachers, presenting lessons learned evaluation and analysis of results the pupils as well as program improvement and enrichment. Of the four aforementioned aspects specifically on program improvements and enrichment there are still weaknesses such as the preparation of a test and the material over and over again at each school, which shows that the level of creativity of teachers compile the material is still very limited. The participation of the community against the school officials have not yet fully demonstrated good cooperation is caused by the low academic ability Community Association (School Committee) so it has limited plays an active role in activities such as academic nature, the formulation of the mission, the vision in planning and supervision mechanism in the implementation of the management of the school. As for the supporting factors of implementing school-based management in SMP Negeri 13 Sarolangun, among others: the existence of a partnership between the school principal by all of the partieswho are in the school, a large Fund of support which can be technically or conceptually so that the implementation of school-based management reflect the democratization of education. Abstract

Compress is one of the methods of physics in lowering body temperature. Compress is one way of removing heat from the body by direct contact between one object with another object, or better known kenduksi process. How to compress to lower fever, such as by providing a warm compress, compress cold water, using ice cubes, alcohol, cold blanket (blanket hypothermia), the use of air conditioner and ceiling fan as well as methods of tepid sponge. This study was quasi experimental with two group pretest-post test only design the form of Pre and Post Design. The population in this study were all under five with fever and number of a sample of 20 respondents. The mean decrease in body temperature of infants after a given method of tepid sponges of 1.27 ° C, while the decrease in body temperature of infants after being given a cold compress by 0.63 oC. Tepid sponges compress method is more effective in lowering body temperature under five with fever. Statistical test results obtained value    p-value = 0.000, smaller than 0.05 in other words, there were significant differences between the toddler's body temperature drop of tepid sponges compress method and cold compresses.keyword: sick, tepid sponge
