Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of services, bank characteristics, knowledge, location on customer decisions using Bank Syariah Indonesia (Case Study of Muara Bulian Central Branch Office). This study used sampling techniques with a sample of 100 customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia Muara Bulian Sub-Branch Office. This research method is to use qualitative research method with the help of SPSS application as a data calculation tool that has been able to. This study uses 4 variables, namely service, bank characteristics, knowledge, location. The results of this study show that partially the Characteristics of the Bank are very influential to customer decisions by 4.87, and become the most dominant factor, the Service affects customer decisions by 4.11, Knowledge is quite influential on customer decisions by 3.4, and Location affects customer decisions by 3.9.

Abstract

The increasing number of residents, especially in Telanaipura Village Telanaipura sub-district will have far-reaching implications also on the decision to purchase instant noodle products.  the background outlined above, can be taken to formulate a problem: How social variables affect the decision to buy Instant Indomie noodle products. The purpose of this study is as follows: To analyze the influence of social variables on the decision to buy instant indomie noodle products. To find out the social influence and purchasing decisions used the regression formula. The accumulated results of respondents' answers showed that on average, all respondents' answers showed that the purchase decision variable was at a pretty good level with an average score of 320. The accumulated respondent's response to social variables was 325.8. This value is in a fairly good interval class. This means that social factors are considered by consumers to consume instant indomie noodle food. determination coefficient or (R Square) of independent variable regression (Social Variable) to the Decision to Purchase indomie instant noodle products 0.643. social variable t-calculated value of 2,003, because the t-count value (2,003) is greater than t-Table (1,684) then at the error rate 5% Ho rejected Ha accepted

Abstract

Suggestopedia is a teaching method focuses on the teacher-learner relationship while teaching and learning process is going on in the classroom that might be used to encourage the students especially for reading a descriptive text. This study was to explore the senior high school students’ ability on reading descriptive text by using a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. Sample was taken randomly, with 60 students were devided into two groups, 30 students were taken as control class while another 30 students as experimental class. By using a reading text as the instrument of the research, the researcher found that suggestopedia method was proven to be effective with the average pre-test control class was 38,6 and post-test control class was 53,3. The average pre-test in the experimental class was 46 and post-test experimental class was 90,8. The value of t-test higher than the value of t-table was (20,41>2,001) which means that suggestopedia method makes learning process more interesting and more effective for senior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the influence of Recruitment, Training and Counseling on Employee Productivity at PT. Telkom Medan access both partially and simultaneously. The research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis.  The population in this study were all totaling 462 people. Data analysis techniques using the F Test, T Test, and Multiple Linear Regression. Based on the results of data analysis in this study shows that partially it can be seen that the recruitment variable (X1) has a tcount of 0.837 and a value of 1.663, then the tcount value <ttable (0.837 <1.663) and a sig.0.00 value <0.405. This means the hypothesis is rejected namely: partial recruitment has no positive and significant effect on employee productivity at PT Telkom Akses Medan. The results showed that the training (X2) had a tcount of 3.254 and a t-table value of 1.663, then a tcount> ttable (3.254> 1.663) and a sig value. 0.00 <0.002. This means that the hypothesis is accepted: training has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity in PT Telkom Akses Medan. The results showed that counseling (X3) had a tcount of 2.974 and a t-table value of 1.663 then the tcount> ttabe l (2.974> 1.663) and a sig value. 0.00 <0.004. This means that the hypothesis  is accepted: counseling has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity at PT Telkom Akses Medan.

Abstract

English for specific purposes which is aimed at developing a specific English material for the students of accounting major is important aspect due to as the specification of materials for teaching English at Vocational Senior High School 2 is needed by the students. This research is aimed at the students’ voices on the specific material needed by the students at accounting major would be become an end result of English teaching material.  This research is aimed at finding specific English materials for accounting major at Vocational Senior High School 2 of Jambi City. Some structured-questions were distributed to arrange the students’ interests of the specific materials. This research was conducted in two classes of SMK Negeri 2 Kota Jambi using a qualitative research. A thematic analysis was implemented in relation to the specific English materials used in the classroom. The findings reveal that some materials are matched with accounting major but some others are not. The materials for accounting major are compiled in a handbook of English material for accounting students which are two chapters of materials; Introduction to Accounting and Conceptual Framework of Accounting.

Abstract

This research was a classroom action research. It was figure out that during the learning and teaching process the student’s activeness and achievement were still low. Therefore, this resarch was conducted to solve the problem by implementing Cooperative Number Head Together by using Mind Mapping media. The rersearch participant was the students at grade X IPS 1 of SMAN 1 Kerinci. The objective of the reserasch was to improve the student’s comprehension on economics concept and activeness during the learning and teaching process. The collaborator of the research was the teacher who taught the same subject. The study was conducted in two cycles consisted of four stages;(a) planning, (b)action, (c) observation (d) reflection. The analysis result showed that there was significant improvement on the student’s achievement and activeness after Cooperative Number Head Together by using Mind Mapping Media was applied. The student’s average score in Pre cycle was 50 (42%). Then, in cycle 1 the score was 71 (67%), in cycle 2 it improved significantly to 78 (76%). In addition, the student’s activeness in cycle 1 was 65,55%, and in the second cycle it improved to 79,36%. Based on the data, it concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Number Head together by using Mind Mapping Media improved the student’s achievement and activeness significantly. Therefore, it was suggested to Economic Teacher to apply the method as the alternative solution to the student’s learning problem especially on Economic Agent Subject.

Abstract

Health education has an important role to change and strengthen behavioral factors, ranging from predisposing, supporting, to driving so that it can lead to positive behavior from the community. But there are still a few who organize youth Posyandu in Jambi City. Aurduri Health Center was the first to form a teen Posyandu. However, teenagers who visited trimester I reached 100 (5%) was 2,005 teeneger. The formation of adolescent Posyandu is expected to be a place to facilitate adolescents in understanding adolescent health problems, find alternative solutions to problems, but there are still adolescents who do not come to adolescent Posyandu so that many adolescents do not know about their health. Design of analytical research with cross sectional design. The object of the study was all teenagers at the public health center Aurduri Jambi city. This study was conducted on February to July 2019. The samples used random sampling as many as 92 respondents. The collecting of data used a questionnaire then analyzed as univariate and bivariate analysis. The findings indicated that (the factors of reinforcing) 71 (77.2%) the role of health personnel is good, 56 (60.9%) the role of teen Posyandu cadres is good, 63 (68.5%) good family support and as many as 75 (81.5%) respondents had good behavior. The results of chi-square test indicated that there is correlation of the role of health personnel, teen Posyandu cadres and family support toward teen behavior to Posyandu p value = 0.000 (p<0.05). It is expected that an increase in the budget, facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of health services for adolescents, always seek innovation and new breakthroughs so that the interest of adolescents to come to teen POSYANDU increases every month.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of Liquidity, Leverage, Activity, and Profitability on Firm Value in the Consumer Goods Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2018. This study uses a quantitative method with a desciptive type. The population of this study is the Consumer Goods Sector that is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period, as many as 50 companies. Sampling using purposive sampling and obtained a research sample of 60 samples from 15 sectors of consumer goods multiplied by 4 years. This research method uses multiple linear regression. The coefficient test results obtained from the Adjusted R Square value are 3.7%, which means that the variation in the Firm Value variable described by the independent variable is 96.3%. The research results simultaneously show that liquidity, leverage, activity, and profitability have no effect on firm value. Meanwhile, partially it shows that liquidity, leverage, and profitability have no and insignificant effect on firm value, but for the activity variable has a significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnant women is a condition of the mother's lack of protein and energy intake during pregnancy which can cause health problems for the mother and the fetus. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women. This research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional research design, the study was conducted in June - August 2020 at the Pegayut Public Health Center, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The population in this study were all pregnant women who carried out ANC examinations at Pegayut Health Center in 2019 which totaled 369 people and the sample used in this study was the entire population of 369 people, data analysis used univariate (proportion), bivariate (chi square test) and multivariate (logistic regression) analysis. The analysis showed that maternal age at intervals of pregnancy (p value: 0,000) and parity (p vaue: 0,000) had a significant relationship with chronic energy deficiency, while the age of pregnant women (p value: 0.147) had no significant relationship with the occurrence of energy deficiency. chronicles. Based on the final model of multivariate analysis, the variable that has the greatest effect on chronic energy deficiency is the pregnancy interval variable. It is hoped that pregnant women should carry out routine pregnancy checks at least 4 times during pregnancy to monitor the health of the mother and baby so as to prevent complications of pregnancy and childbirth.

Abstract

In Junior High School, the students should have reading skill. Good achievement in reading is very important for the students. When the researcher did observation at the eighth grade students of SMPN 12 Jambi City, it was found that some of the students have difficulties in comprehending a recount text. The aim of this research is to find out students difficulties in comprehending a recount text at the eighth grade students of SMPN 12 Jambi City Academic Year 2018/2019. The researcher used qualitative method to analyze the data. There were thirty two students of the eighth year of SMPN 12 participated in this research. Observation, questionnaire and interview data were collected, analyzed and collated. The researcher found that some students had difficulty in understanding the content of the text and difficult to interpret the English language, which is almost the same answer choices that confuse students. Students simply read without understanding the text, not thorough in answering questions. The students difficult in comprehending a recount text questions. There are inability to access the content of the text.
