Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify an analysis of the internal and external conditions of Mokey MSMEs and to design the best alternative strategy proposal in order to increase sales and maintain the business being run using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Threat, Opportunity) matrix and the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method. The research results showed that the position of MSME Mokey was categorized as high in utilizing internal and external conditions with a total of IFE 3.9 and EFE 3.8 and the results of analysis using the QSPM method showed that there were 7 strategies that MSME Mokey could use to increase sales and maintain the business.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of hatha yoga exercise on changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This research is a quantitative research with pre-experimental research, using a one group pretest-posttest design with hatha yoga exercise intervention. A sample of 21 respondents used a purposive sampling technique on hypertensive patients at the Putri Ayu Community Health Center, Jambi City. Analysis of the relationship between variables uses the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that there was a significant influence between changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients before and after being given hatha yoga exercises in the working area of the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze motivation, work experience, competence, and performance of Riau Islands Provincial Government employees. The target population in this research is the functional position of Civil Servants in Agencies in the Riau Islands Province. The sample size is adjusted to the analysis model used, namely the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this research found that the job satisfaction variable can have a positive and significant influence on the variables of work motivation, work experience and competence on the performance of Riau Islands Provincial Government employees.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and determine significant factors from structural deficiencies and project organizational systems as contributors to construction accidents which can be used as tools/instruments for construction safety audits. This quantitative research was processed using the Bayesian Belief Networks (BBN) method and modeled using the free download Hugin Lite 9.1 software. Based on the research results, the factor that contributes most significantly based on prediction simulations developed using the Bayesian Belief Networks model using Hugin Lite 9.1 free download software is a deficiency in the project organization system from the contractor's side with the largest 3 (three) probability values, namely risk identification and assessment by contractors who do not adequate 82.52%, construction implementation procedures incorrect 75.62% and lack of knowledge related to construction safety 70%.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors that influence financial distress in provincial governments in Sumatra in terms of the degree of decentralization, budgetary solvency ratio and growth ratio. The testing method uses a quantitative approach with secondary data on LHP obtained via the BPK RI website in 2018-2022. The population used includes all provinces on the island of Sumatra, totaling 10 provinces for the 2018-2022 fiscal year and each member of the population was taken as a sample using a saturated sampling technique, so that the observation units in this research were 50 samples. This research uses Eviews to analyze the data. The results of the research show that simultaneously there is a significant influence between the variables degree of decentralization, budgetary solvency ratio and growth ratio on financial distress in provincial governments in Sumatra, partially the degree of decentralization has a negative and significant influence on financial distress, while the budgetary solvency ratio has a positive and significant influence on financial distress and the growth ratio does not have a significant effect on financial distress in provincial governments in Sumatra during the 2018-2022 period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the weight of facilities and infrastructure in supporting the teaching and learning process at the Postgraduate Program at the University of Jambi based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the AHP analysis showed that the building rooms had a weight of 0.83 and an open yard of 0.17. Then for the open page, the largest weight was found on Accessibility with a weight of 0.31 while the building space the largest weight on Flexibility with a weight of 0.34. Then for open yard has the largest weight on Accessibility with a weight of 0.31 while the building rooms weighs the largest on Flexibility with a weight of 0.34. Alternative facilities and infrastructure needed show that the Lecture Room and Seminar Room have the largest weight of 0.76. The construction of facilities and infrastructure for education is very necessary, especially for a more flexible building rooms for lecture room activities and student seminars.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the application of ethnomathematics-based behavioristic theory on interest in learning mathematics in grade 5 elementary school students. This research adopted an experimental research design involving 30 students as a representatively selected sample. Data was collected through observation and interviews to understand changes in students' learning interest before and after the intervention. Data analysis was carried out by combining descriptive and statistical approaches. The research results show that there has been a significant increase in interest in learning mathematics, with an average of 90, compared to only 70 previously. These findings support the effectiveness of ethnomathematics-based behavioristic theory in stimulating students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reminiscence therapy on reducing anxiety levels in the elderly. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group. The sampling technique used total sampling to obtain 35 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of 14 questions and standard operating procedures for reminiscence therapy. The results of the paired sample t-test in the control group showed that there was no difference between anxiety levels in the pre-test and post-test. In the treatment group, there was a significant difference in reducing anxiety levels. The results of the study using an independent sample t-test showed that there was an effect of reminiscence therapy on reducing anxiety levels in the elderly at the Tresna Werdha Inakaka Social Home in Maluku Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource quality and public satisfaction on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batang Hari Regency, totaling 57 employees who are also the sample in this study. The approach used is a quantitative descriptive approach, while data collection uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results of this study found that simultaneously and partially there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of human resource quality and public satisfaction on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batang Hari Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of independence, motivation, and personality on the career development of Generation Z employees at PT Bilah Baja Makmur Abadi. This study used a quantitative approach and purposive sampling technique, with a sample of 67 Gen Z employees using a questionnaire. The results of multiple linear regression indicate that independence, motivation, and personality, both partially and simultaneously, have a significant influence on career development at PT Bilah Baja Makmur Abadi.
