Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the teaching game learning model in improving decision-making and basketball teamwork of students at SMP Negeri 3 Purwanegara. This study used an experimental approach. Data were obtained from direct observation of the research subjects. The research instrument has been validated using CVR (0.99). The population included all 66 students of class VIII. While the sample included all 20 students of class VIII B. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that the application of the teaching game model was able to improve the ability of cooperation and decision-making in basketball of class VIII students at SMP N 3 Purwanegara, especially in the aspect of cooperation. It was indicated by the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis which showed a significant difference in the results of the pretest and posttest with a Z score <0.001 in the decision-making aspect. And a Z score <0.001 in the aspect of cooperation. Keywords: Teaching game, Basketball, Decision making, Cooperation     Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran teaching game dalam meningkatkan pengambilan keputusan dan kerja sama bola basket siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Purwanegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi langsung terhadap subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian telah divalidasi menggunakan CVR (0,99). Populasi mecakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 66 siswa. Sedangkan sampel mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII B yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan model teaching game mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama dan pengambilan keputusan dalam bola basket siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 3 Purwanegara terlebih pada aspek kerja sama. Ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis uji wilcoxon yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan tehadap hasil pretest dan posttest dengan Z skor < 0,001 pada aspek pengambilan keputusan. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the front kick ability of pencak silat athletes in the competition category at SMAN 1 Ciawigebang through a sports biomechanics approach. The research was conducted due to frequent inaccuracies in front kick execution, which often result in violations during matches because athletes fail to strike the intended target area. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, with data collected through video documentation of athletes’ movements. The instrument used was a front kick performance test. Data analysis utilized the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and paired t-test. The results showed an improvement in performance, with the average pre-test score of 65.25 increasing to 73.25 in the post-test. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed (Sig. 0.200 > 0.05), and the paired t-test confirmed a significant difference between the two tests (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The study concludes that a training program supported by video-based analysis effectively enhances athletes’ front kick ability and can guide coaches in improving technique and minimizing violations in competition. Keywords: Pencak Silat, Front Kick, Biomechanics Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan tendangan depan atlet pencak silat kategori tanding SMAN 1 Ciawigebang melalui pendekatan biomekanika olahraga. Permasalahan utama yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah ketidaktepatan sasaran saat melakukan tendangan depan, yang kerap berujung pada pelanggaran dalam pertandingan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi video gerakan atlet. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan teknik tendangan depan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan, ditandai dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 65,25 dan post-test sebesar 73,25. Data diketahui berdistribusi normal (Sig. 0,200 > 0,05), sedangkan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua hasil tes (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05). Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa program latihan yang dilengkapi analisis video efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan tendangan depan dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pelatih untuk memperbaiki teknik dan meminimalkan pelanggaran dalam kompetisi. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the level of athletes’ motivation in participating in athletic training at the Jambi City Athletics Club. A quantitative descriptive method was used with a population of 20 athletes, all of whom were selected as the sample using total sampling. Data were collected through a motivation questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results show that most athletes have a moderate level of motivation, with the highest percentage reaching 80%. These findings indicate that athletes’ motivation has not yet been optimal, as intrinsic and extrinsic factors have not functioned effectively. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance motivation through strengthening internal drive and providing environmental support to achieve better athletic performance. Keywords: Athletics, Motivation, Performance Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat motivasi atlet dalam mengikuti latihan atletik di Klub Atletik Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi 20 atlet, seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner motivasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar atlet memiliki tingkat motivasi pada kategori cukup, dengan persentase tertinggi sebesar 80%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa motivasi atlet belum optimal, baik dari faktor intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan motivasi melalui penguatan dorongan internal atlet serta dukungan lingkungan latihan guna menunjang pencapaian prestasi yang lebih optimal. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of circle drill training on improving overhand passing skills in volleyball. The research employed a quantitative experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 20 participants selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was the AAHPER Face Pass Wall-Volley test, administered before and after ten training sessions. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 16.85 (pretest) to 19.90 (posttest) with a significance value of p < 0.001. Furthermore, the effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.390) indicated a very large influence. These findings confirm that circle drill training is effective in enhancing overhand passing skills. The study highlights the practical implication of implementing structured and repetitive training methods as a reference for coaches and physical education instructors in optimizing participants’ technical performance. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan circle drill terhadap peningkatan kemampuan passing atas dalam permainan bola voli. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 20 peserta yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes AAHPER Face Pass Wall-Volley yang dilaksanakan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan selama sepuluh sesi latihan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 16,85 (pretest) menjadi 19,90 (posttest) dengan signifikansi p < 0,001. Selain itu, ukuran efek (Cohen’s d = 2,390) mengindikasikan pengaruh yang sangat besar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa latihan circle drill efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan passing atas, serta memiliki implikasi praktis bagi pelatih maupun pendidik dalam menyusun program latihan yang terstruktur dan repetitif untuk mengoptimalkan performa teknis peserta. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teachers in enhancing students’ enthusiasm for learning physical education at SMA Negeri 5 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Subjects included the principal, PJOK teachers, and students selected using purposive sampling. Data co.llection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data validity was tested using source triangulation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that PJOK teachers act as motivators, facilitators, guides, and role models in learning. This role has been proven to increase students’ enthusiasm, activeness, and enthusiasm for learning in PJOK learning, although several obstacles remain that need to be addressed through a more personalized and varied approach. Keywords: PJOK Teacher, Learning Enthusiasm, PJOK Learning.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar penjaskes siswa di SMA Negeri 5 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru PJOK, dan siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PJOK berperan sebagai motivator, fasilitator, pembimbing, dan teladan dalam pembelajaran. Peran tersebut terbukti mampu meningkatkan antusiasme, keaktifan, dan semangat belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran PJOK, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa hambatan yang perlu diatasi melalui pendekatan yang lebih personal dan variatif. Abstract

This study uses a literature review method to analyze and synthesize information from various studies that have been conducted related to the impact of physical activity on adolescent bone health. The data used in this study came from scientific journals, research articles, books, and reports published in the last 10 years. Data was taken from trusted academic platforms such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and national journal portals such as Garuda. Data was collected using certain keywords such as "benefits of physical activity for adolescent bones", "bones and sports", and "adolescent bone health". After the search was conducted, relevant articles were identified and selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria that had been set. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to conclude relevant research findings. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of a holistic approach in supporting bone health. The combination of weight-bearing exercise, optimal nutrition, and injury risk management strategies can provide maximum benefits. By considering individual differences, such as gender, health conditions, and physical activity preferences, appropriate intervention strategies can be applied to support bone health throughout the life cycle.

Abstract

Abstract: This research examines gamification's impact on student involvement and active learning duration in volleyball instruction. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design involved 60 Grade X participants divided into treatment and comparison groups. The treatment group received intervention integrating point systems, achievement badges, ranking boards, and progression mechanisms via Classcraft platform, while the comparison group followed conventional approaches. Measurements employed the Physical Education Classroom Instrument for assessing student involvement and System for Observing Fitness Instruction Time for observing active learning duration. Findings revealed the treatment group experienced 24.04% increased student involvement and 43.85% elevated active learning duration, contrasting minimal improvements in the comparison group. Independent sample t-test analysis confirmed significant disparities between groups (p < 0.001, Cohen's d > 2.8). Conclusively, gamification effectively enhances behavioral, emotional, cognitive involvement while optimizing instructional time allocation in physical education, particularly for volleyball skill acquisition.   Keywords: gamification, student engagement, active learning time, volleyball learning, physical education   Abstrak: Riset ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak implementasi gamifikasi terhadap keterlibatan siswa dan durasi pembelajaran aktif dalam mata pelajaran bola voli. Metode kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group melibatkan 60 peserta didik kelas X yang terbagi dalam kelompok perlakuan dan pembanding. Kelompok perlakuan memperoleh intervensi pembelajaran mengintegrasikan komponen poin, lencana prestasi, papan peringkat, dan sistem penjenjangan melalui platform Classcraft, sedangkan kelompok pembanding mengikuti pendekatan konvensional. Pengukuran menggunakan Physical Education Classroom Instrument untuk menilai keterlibatan siswa dan System for Observing Fitness Instruction Time untuk mengobservasi durasi pembelajaran aktif. Temuan menunjukkan kelompok perlakuan mengalami kenaikan keterlibatan siswa 24,04% dan durasi pembelajaran aktif 43,85%, kontras dengan peningkatan minimal kelompok pembanding. Analisis independent sample t-test mengonfirmasi disparitas signifikan antarkelompok (p < 0,001, Cohen's d > 2,8). Kesimpulannya, gamifikasi terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterlibatan behavioral, emosional, kognitif serta mengoptimalkan alokasi waktu instruksional dalam pendidikan jasmani khususnya penguasaan keterampilan bola voli.   Kata Kunci: gamifikasi, student engagement, waktu aktif belajar, pembelajaran bola voli, pendidikan jasmani

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of the play-based method on improving overhead passing skills in volleyball among sixth- grade students at SD Negeri Karangsari. The research employed a quasi- experimental design using a One Group Pretest–Posttest model. The subjects consisted of 20 students who participated in a pretest, play-based learning activities, and a posttest to measure skill development. The research instrument was the AAHPERD overhead passing test, which assessed accuracy and movement consistency. The results showed a significant improvement between pretest and posttest scores. Hypothesis testing using a Paired Sample t-Test produced a t-value of -63.803 with a significance level of 0.000. The mean score difference of -64.55 indicated that posttest scores were substantially higher than pretest scores. These findings demonstrate that the play-based method effectively enhances basic technical skills, motor abilities, coordination, focus, and students’ self- confidence, making it suitable for physical education learning aligned with children’s developmental characteristics. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa yang mengikuti tes awal, pembelajaran berbasis permainan, dan tes akhir untuk mengukur perkembangan keterampilan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes passing atas AAHPERD yang menilai ketepatan serta konsistensi gerak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Uji hipotesis melalui Paired Sample t-Test menghasilkan nilai t hitung sebesar -63,803 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Rata-rata perbedaan skor sebesar -64,55 menunjukkan hasil posttest lebih tinggi. Temuan ini membuktikan metode bermain efektif meningkatkan teknik dasar, kemampuan motorik, koordinasi, fokus, dan kepercayaan diri siswa, serta layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PJOK sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak sekolah dasar formal. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the drill method in improving long pass skills of 17-year-old soccer players at Gemilang Raya Kuningan Academy. The research employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 20 players selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Bobby Charlton lofted kick test to measure the accuracy and power of long passes. The drill training program was conducted for four weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, and paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in long pass skills, with the mean score increasing from 45.88 to 62.75 (p < 0.05). The drill method proved effective in enhancing accuracy, power, and movement consistency of long passes among academy-level soccer players. Keywords: basic techniques, soccer, long pass skill. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas metode drill dalam meningkatkan keterampilan long pass pemain sepakbola usia 17 tahun di Akademi Gemilang Raya Kuningan. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest terhadap 20 pemain yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tendangan lambung Bobby Charlton untuk mengukur akurasi dan kekuatan long pass. Latihan metode drill dilaksanakan selama empat minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan keterampilan long pass, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 45,88 menjadi 62,75 (p < 0,05). Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to analyze the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at SDN 8 Nusa Kenyikap. This research employed a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research subjects were the principal, the Grade VI homeroom teacher, and 16 Grade VI students. The object of the study was the analysis of the implementation of clean and healthy living behavior. The research procedures consisted of the preparation stage, implementation stage, and final stage. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were questionnaire sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the PHBS questionnaire were categorized as moderate, with an average percentage of 76%. The interview results with the principal and the Grade VI homeroom teacher indicated that the school had made efforts to educate and habituate PHBS involving the entire school community, which was strengthened by documentary evidence. In conclusion, the PHBS indicators at the school have been implemented but still require improvement to achieve good or very good categories. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wali kelas VI, dan siswa kelas VI berjumlah 16 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah analisis penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Prosedur penelitian adalah tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil kuesioner PHBS tergolong sedang dengan rata – rata presentase 76%, Hasil wawancara kepala sekolah dan wali kelas VI menunjukkan pihak sekolah telah melakukan upaya edukasi dan pembiasaan PHBS yang melibatkan warga sekolah, diperkuat dengan bukti dokumentasi. Kesimpulannya, indikator PHBS di sekolah telah diterapkan dan perlu peningkatan supaya mencapai kategori baik atau sangat baik. Kata Kunci : Penerapan, Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat
