Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence on the effect of net profit dan operating cash flow on financial distress in cosmetics dan household use sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017 to 2021 period. This study used purposive sampling method to select dan select 5 companies dan 25 data from cosmetics dan household use sub-sector companies. The data in this study was collected dan processed using Microsoft Excel 2019 dan SPSS 26. The results of this study show that net profit dan operating cash flow do not have a significant effect on financial distress, but simultaneously affect financial distress.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the role of governance, namely the structure of the board and audit committee in determining cash holding. The data in the study were taken by purposive random sampling. Data obtained from manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2017-2021 observation period. The data is then processed with E-views. Board size and board meetings have no significant influence. Independent board composition has a significant positive influence. Audit committee members has a significant negative influence. As a control variable, firm size and capital expenditure had no significant effect on cash on holding. Meanwhile, DAR as a control variable has a significant negative influence. Board size, independent board composition, board meetings, and audit committee members, as well as the control variables of firm size, DAR, and capital expenditure have a significant influence on the decision to determine the amount of cash holding.

Abstract

Digitalization affects almost all areas of life, including payment methods. Now, there are many different payment methods. However, on the other hand, Indonesia's financial inclusion level still needs to catch up compared to neighboring countries. This study aims to determine the factors influencing the choice of payment method at minimarkets in Bekasi City by using transaction value, income, education, awareness ease of use, and awareness of risk as independent variables. Research data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 400 respondents. The sampling method used a convenient regional random sample selection technique. Data collection found that electronic wallets are the most used payment method. Using the PLS-SEM method, the results found that transaction value, income, education, awareness ease of use, and awareness of risk have positive and significant impacts in increasing the likelihood of consumer’s behavior in choosing an electronic payment method.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence BNI customers in using digital service machines, namely Digi CS or Digital Customer Service Machine Using the Human Organization Technology (HOT-FIT) Model. This research is a descriptive-quantitative research with 134 respondents as who are customers of BNI Renon Branch using accidental sampling. Data was obtained through an open questionnaire points to measure or obtain opinions or responses from customers regarding the eight variables in this research, namely System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, System Use, User Satisfaction, Organization Structure, Environment and Net Benefits. The research results show that technological factors, namely the variables Information Quality, Service Quality, System Quality, have an influence on human factors, namely System Use, User Satisfaction, where these human factors also influence Net Benefits. Apart from that, organizational factors, namely Structure, influence the net Benefit but not the Environment which does not influence the Net Benefit.

Abstract

This study examines two aspects, namely the impact of the quality of learning in Accounting and Finance on investment decisions; and the role of the financial self-efficacy aspect as an intervening variable that links the quality of Accounting and Finance learning to investment decisions. This study using primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to 375 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business who had received education about finance, investment and capital markets, and had started investing. this research uses Structural Equation Modeling via Smart-PLS to carry out the analysis. The results obtained show that financial self-efficacy mediates the relationship between the quality of Accounting and Finance learning on investment decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence or relationship between three independent variables, namely Transformational Leadership, Quality of Work Life and Company Reputation on one dependent variable, namely Work Engagement in Employees. Quantitative analysis method using the SEM Smart PLS 3.3 analysis tool. The results of hypothesis testing show that transformational leadership, quality of work life, company reputation have a positive and significant effect on work engagement; Transformational leadership has no effect on employee performance; while company reputation, work engagement and quality of work life have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The capital market part of economic activity that is susceptible to being influenced by events. The aim of this research was to analyze the influence of the announcement of excise rates in 2020-2022 on the capital market reaction. The capital market reaction is measured the Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity. The research sample is 4 cigarette companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research method is event study. The event window of 5 days before and after the event. The test results show that there is a significant difference in abnormal returns in 2020 and 2022 before and after the announcement of the cigarette excise rate increase. However, there is no difference in abnormal returns in 2021 and trading volume activity in 2020, 2021 and 2022 before and after the announcement of the cigarette excise rate increase.

Abstract

The dividend policy considers whether a company's earnings will be reinvested or distributed. This policy significantly impacts stakeholders' interests. For investors, the dividend policy is crucial because it affects the level of return on investment. This study aims to explain and analyze whether the bank size, return on assets (ROA), debt-to-equity ratio (DER), loan-to-debt ratio (LDR), and net interest margin (NIM) have a significant impact on the dividend payout ratio (DPR). The sample for this research consists of 10 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022, encompassing 50 observations. The sample was tested through descriptive statistical analysis, model selection tests, and panel data regression analysis. The research findings indicate that Bank Size has a positive and significant impact on the DPR, ROA has a negative and significant impact on the DPR, while DER, LDR, and NIM do not significantly influence DPR.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look at how several factors, including quantity, quality of arguments, source credibility, perceived usability and utility, attitude toward buying, attitude toward brands, and intention to buy, affect Generation Z. The primary concept used in this research is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) idea. The data collection technique uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. There were 243 people included in the sample for this investigation. The statistical packages IBM SPSS 27 and AMOS Graphic 24 were used for this quantitative study. Perceived usefulness and ease of use were not shown to be positively and significantly related in this study's hypothesis results. Attitude toward the purchase is positively and significantly impacted by perceived utility. Additionally, there is a favorable and statistically significant correlation between buy attitude and brand attitude, according to the data analysis.
