Abstract

Abstract: Student Centered Learning  Through Cooperative STAD Type in the Learning of Indonesian  in Junior High School. This study aimed to implement student-centered learning through cooperative learning type STAD. The subject of this study were three schools, namely the VII class students of SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, the VIIclass  student of  SMP Negeri 3 Makassar, and the VIIclass students of SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Method of sampling were done randomly. The research data obtained through observations and learning results test. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistical t-test. The results showed that: (1)  STAD type of cooperative learning scenarios prepared by teachers are in  accordance to the type STAD cooperative learning model, (2) increase students' motivation, (3) increasing the quality of learning, (4) the experimental study class got  high grade result, (5) the controll class got low gra-de result Abstrak: Pembelajaran Berpusat pada Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplemen-tasikan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga sekolah, yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Makassar, dan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Penentuan sampel dila-kukan secara random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial uji-t. Hasil penelitian me-nunjukkan bahwa:  (1) skenario pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang disusun guru sudah se-suai model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, (2)  motivasi belajar siswa meningkat, (3) kuali-tas pelaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat, (4) hasil belajar kelas eksperimen tergolong tinggi, (5) hasil belajar kelas kontrol tergolong rendah. Kata kunci: pembelajaran berpusat siswa, kooperatif, motivasi, dan hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract: Writing Learning Tool Model-Based Text explanation Problem Based Learning (Study on the Development of Seventh Grade Students of SMPN 8 Makassar). The purpose of this research was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning device to write text explanation of Problem Based Learning model based on class VII SMPN 8 Makassar. This study is a research Research and Development (R & D) development model ADDIE. The results obtained in this study were (1) the learning device declared invalid because the criterion of validity has been fulfilled, namely the average value of validity for all aspects of the minimum in the category is quite valid and the validity of every aspect of at least falls under the category valid () (2) the study revealed practically since the criteria of validity are met, namely the overall aspect of the component syntax model of Problem Based learning on the Implementation Plan lesson 1, 2, 3, and 4 are in the category of accomplished entirely (), and (3) the learning device is declared effective because the validity criteria have been met, namely mastery learning outcomes of students = 95%, the average teachers' ability to manage the learning is = 3.7 are in either category (TKG ≤ 3.00 <4.00). Students gave a positive response to the implementation of learning to write explanatory text using the teaching of writing text-based explanatory models of Problem Based Learning = 93.5%.

Abstract

Abstract. The Readability of the Indonesian Textbook Discourse "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition Using Cloze Test Methode On Grade X SMAN 1 Makassar. This research aimed to describe the readability of discourse in the Indonesian textbook "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition on grade X SMAN 1 Makassar. The method used in this research is a quantitative survey methods that describe the readability level of the Indonesia textbook "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition on grade X at SMAN 1 Makassar. The population of this research was all students of grade X at SMAN 1 Makassar. Sampling on this population was selected by using cluster random sampling. The sample in this research there were two classes, X MIA 5 and X IIS 3. Data collection techniques in this research is the cloze test. Data obtained using the formula cloze test. The results showed that out of the eight tested discourse to the students there are six discourse that is at the readability level independent/easy. There is a discourse belonging to the category of reading level instructional/medium. Average readability level was 68% overall discourse in the category reading level independent/easy, indicating that the level of discourse is very high readability. Results like that makes the discourse in the Indonesian Textbooks "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition on grade X published by the Ministry of Education and Culture is not good enough to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the composition of Wejangan Aneh story. Research data was sourced from Fajar daily newspaper in Makasssar. Data analysis was done by using critical discourse analysis approach. The results showed that the beliefs of the people about supernatural, which represented by the use of the macro-structure and micro-structure. The central theme of the story is the emergence of the negative cultural ideology. That is the behavior of the villagers who liked to accept foreign cultures that caused negative impact and sin because they missed the attention of doing their worship.

Abstract

Abstract: Error Analysis In The Indonesian Language In Students’ Thesis Of Information System Of Study Program At Kharisma Makassar. The research aims at describing the Indonesian language errors in the students’ thesis of information system study program. The population was the students’ thesis of information system study program at Kharisma Makassar consisting of 486 theses. The sample taken was 50 theses. Based on the findings, the research can be concluded that the language errors found in the students’ thesis of information system study program at Kharisma Makassar were the use of capital letters, italics, and punctuation. In addition, the language errors in using words, constructing sentence, making paragraph were also found. The most errors were the use of italics (98%), whereas the fewest errors were the form of paragraph (16%).

Abstract

This study describes the comparison between the proper name in the Bugis language with name nonlanguage Bugis and the factors that influence the naming of the Bugis community. Data collected through observation with note technique. The data collected were analyzed descriptively. The names of the Bugis have equivalents in other languages. There are seven factors that influence the selection process on behalf Bugis society, namely: (1) religion, (2) trends, (3) pride, (4) prestige, (5) heredity, (6) retention of identity, and (7) conditions or circumstances.

Abstract

Abstract: Description Language Usage in Buton Post newspaper edition Tuesday, May 20, 2016. The expected goal with this study was to determine the description of language use in the postal Buton newspaper. The method used to pengunpulan data in this research is descriptive qualitative method because the purpose of this study was to decrypt the use of the language contained in Buton post. The data were analyzed using qualitative approach for the presentation of data in a sentence or words in the form of a narrative or descriptive. The research results indicate that the use of the language contained in the paper Buton Post edition Tuesday May 20, 2016 contains elements of grammar that is writing the correct word, contains elements of grammatical, which uses basic words and affixes like the words contained in the newspaper Buton Post Edition Tuesday , May 20, 2016.

Abstract

Abstract: The formation of corn’s lexicons in Javanese. This study aims to describe the constituent elements and the type of reference from corn’s lexicons in Javanese. The type of this study is qualitative descriptive by using semantics theory approach. Methods of data collection are literature study and interview. The source of data comes from informant who’s working as farmer in Sragen and Pemalang regency. The numbers of informants are three people in each regency. The data were analyzed by ‘teknik pilah’ followed by ‘teknik hubung banding’. The results shows (1) the forming element of attributes are word and phrase, and (2) the type of reference consists of three categories, i.e. functions of maize plants, morphology of maize plants, and cultivation of maize plants.

Abstract

Abstrak: Nation Character Values in Serat Bratayuda Adapted by Karel Fredrik Winter. This study aims to explain the nation character values in serat bratayuda obtained from the characters. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques is documentation with data sources in the form of serat Bratayuda adapted by Karel Fredrik Winter. The data are words, sentences, and/or paragraphs in the serat bratayuda that indicate the appearance of characters. Through this research found seven nation cultural and characters values through dialogue and narration in Serat Bratayuda, i.e: (1) cinta tanah air, (2) cinta damai, (3) jujur, (4) pekerja keras, (5) kreatif, (6) tanggung jawab, dan (7) religius.

Abstract

Abstract:  Language Acquisition of Mental Retardation Students at 6th Grade Elementary School. The aim of this research is to explain the comparison of vocabulary acquisition between student with severe mental retardation and student with mild mental retardation. This qulitative research used case study as strategy. Data collection technique used observation method and list of Swadesh Vocabulary. SLB YKK Pacitan was the location of this research. The result show that student with mild mental retardation can understand the vocabularies about 79%, and Nisa student with severe mental retardation can understand the vocabularies about 46%. This result proves that the ability of student with mild mental retardation to master vocabularies is better than the ability of student with severe mental retardation. Athough, the age of student with severe mental retardation is older than student with mild mental retardation. The mental age of the child with mental retardation influences their language ability.
