Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 did not only change the life of business, work, and state, but also people, and education, including Arabic education. These changes, give opportunities for any benefits, on the other hand it also provide challenges. For those who are unable to deal with it, they are going to be fail. This article described and analyzed the challenges of Arabic as the language for communication in Industrial Revolution 4.0. How does Islamic State University respond to the revolutionary changes in industry 4.0. The lovers, activists, educators, and the Arabic language users need to take a quick, precise, and well-prepared attitude. Therefore, the researchers explored data in the Graduate Program of IAIN Tulungagung as the campus of Da'wah and Civilization that use Arabic language as the main pillar in realizing the vision. The researchers used qualitative phenomenological approach. The findings showed that the students were not accustomed in applying Arabic, so they could not create the language environment yet. However, it has often been used in official events. It can be concluded that the Graduate Program of Arabic Language Department of IAIN Tulungagung is able to follow the industrial revolution 4.0 supported by some articles that have been published in both national and international journals.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many contents of the elements of Indonesian interference in Insha 'students of the Arabic Language Education University of KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah. The interference is caused by the lack of students' understanding of syntax rules. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop Arabic syntax teaching materials as a solution to overcome Indonesian interference with Arabic. The method used in this research is R&D by adopting the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, develop, implementation, evaluation). This research produces Arabic syntactic teaching material which is presented through a comparison between the rules of Arabic and Indonesian, and contains material that emphasizes the aspect of function, which includes the material formation of sentences as well as variations and complement. After going through the validation stage with a very valid qualification of 89.1%, the results of the data analysis state that the developed teaching material is able to improve the learning outcomes of students in the course of nahwu (Arabic syntax) which certainly goes hand in hand with increasing their understanding. This increase has a significant effect as a solution to minimize the level of interference. This is proven through further analysis by comparing the results of the pretest which reached an average of 57.26% and the posttest which reached an average of 79.03% so that it can be interpreted that grammatical errors due to interference factors can be overcome.

Abstract

This article discusses the readiness of the Department of Arabic Literature IAIN Syeikh Nurjati Cirebon in dealing with the development of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Descriptive-analytical method was chosen as the type of research with the stages of analyzing data including: data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions or verification. The level of competition based on the excellence of human resources in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires all countries to move quickly in enhancing their human resources, actively contributing to the generation of superior and competitive generation as part of a knowledge-based society making responsibilities that cannot be avoided by higher education institutions. the level of education has risen to become a producer of innovation as a reflection of the educational era 4.0. Exploring all the potentials of the Arabic language and literature department of IAIN Syeikh Nurjati Cirebon and the challenges that will be faced in the era of education 4.0 will be the aim of this study. Cirebon is an area with a rich history and pluralistic culture supported by the existence of the kraton along with hundreds of manuscripts has made this area a field of knowledge and research that is very potential for the development of Arabic language and literary knowledge in Indonesia.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to find out the syntax evidence (adillah al-nahwu) in the book Syarh Kitab al-Kawakib al-durriyah ?ala Mutamammimah al-Ajrumiyyah, how to use the evidence of syntax (adillah al-nahwu) in it?s book, and what are the effects of syntax evidence (adillah al-nahwu) in grammatical rules. The purposes of the research are to find out the syntax evidence (adillah al-nahwu) in the book Syarh  Kitab al-Kawakib al-durriyah ?ala Mutamammimah al-Ajrumiyyah  and to explain the evidence of syntax (adillah al-nahwu)  found in it?s book,  and to know the effects of the evidence of syntax (adillah al-nahwu)  in the grammar rules. This research used library  research where the data were collected through   document analysis. The results of the research that the most adillah   that used Ar-Ru?ainiy  were  sama?  or  naql, ijma?, and Hadith.   Dalil al-Sama?  of the Qur'an used in the book Syarh  Kitab al-Kawakib al-Durriyah ?ala Mutamammimah al-Ajrumiyyah  were 102  evidences,  dalil  of Hadith were 12 evidences,   dalil  of the words of the Arabs were  60 evidences,  1 dalil of  ijma? , and 4  dalil of istishab al-hal. The syntax evidence (adillah al-nahwu) in the book Syarh  Kitab al-Kawakib al-Durriyah ?ala Mutamammimah al-Ajrumiyyah  affect on availability  for   the understanding of the grammar rules.

Abstract

Learning Arabic through one of the theories of second language acquisition has a positive and effective contribution in achieving supported skills. Vygotsky's socio-cultural theory is one of the theories of language acquisition that has great urgency in supporting one's abilities. This theory emphasizes that learning is not only an individual process but also as a social interaction process under the supervision and guidance of teachers. Vygotsky's sociocultural theory is one of the language learning theories recommended by linguists and psycholinguistics to be applied in the learning process especially in  speaking skills learning. The aims are to improve the proficiency and accuracy of students who have different background knowledge in using Arabic. This study aims to find out how the process of speaking skills learning based on Vygotsky's socio-cultural theory and the steps and its application in the speaking skills learning process. This study uses a library approach or library research where data sources are taken from the theories in the literature. This study has contributed to the ease of a teacher to develop learning theories that will be applied in the learning process, especially speaking skills.Keywords: Speaking skills, Vygotsky?s Socio-Cultural Theory

Abstract

This study aims to describe and to determine the type of kalam in prophet supplications of al-Qur?an with its purpose. There are some verses in al-Qur?an containing prophet supplication.  The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The source of data is the verses of prophet supplication in the holy Qur?an. The finding of this research show that the theme of prophet supplications in al-Qur?an are 63 times in 26 surat and 74 verses in al-Qur?an. The type of kalam in prophet supplications in al-Qur?an are two kinds, they are kalam khabar and kalam insya?. There are several purposes in each prophet supplication, the purpose of using kalam khabar are idzharu adh-dha?fi wal khusyu?i, tahriiqu al-himmah ila maa yalzamu tahshiluhu, al-istirham wa al-isti?thaf, al-fakhru, at-tadzkir bima baina al-murotib min at-tafaawut, idzhaaru at-tahassur, idzhaaru at-tahassur ?ala syaiin mahbuub, al-hatstsu ?ala as-sa?yi wa al-jiddi, al-madah, and at-takhdzir. And the purpose of using kalam insya? is ad-du?a.

Abstract

This research concludes that language and humanity are inseparable needs, where language is a tool for thinking for humans. Language which is an expression of the meaning it contains and the ideas it captures come from the universality of universality, including humanity. This research uses descriptive analysis method, by concluding all the data presented in this study. Halliday as one of the basic arguments in writing this article also explained that the function of interactional language, where human interaction is intertwined, one of which is through language, in this context is Arabic. As language users, humans have the emotive and imaginative power to interpret what they hear, what they say, and what they see. When Arabic is released into the public sphere, the resulting meaning will have a contextual correlation, and this meaning also adjusts to the interpreter's conceptual reference. The meaning that is covered by the language rules is extracting humanistic values as a form of enthusiasm to contextualize language texts in a wider scope.

Abstract

This study aims to find and reduce the location of errors in learning Arabic in the aspect of reciting Arabic letters (makhorijul letters) with the error analysis method. Focus more specifically on the phonetic aspect, namely on letters that sound like sounds. In addition, this study also aims to determine the forms of errors in reading Arabic texts in the phonological level (phonetic / makhroj aspects). This type of research is a qualitative study, conducted at MTs. Raudlatul Jannah Natar, South Lampung. Understanding the study of how to pronounce or sound Arabic letters is very important in learning Arabic to avoid pronunciation errors, so it does not hamper the learning process. The results of this study indicate that the forms of phonological errors that often occur when reading Arabic text activities are errors in sound in terms of articulation factors including among them: 1) apico-dental-alveolar sound. 2) Inter-dental sound. 3) Foronto-palatal sounds. 4) Dorso-uvular sound. 5) Dorso-velar sound. 6) Sound of avico-alveolars. 7) The sound of root-pharyngeals. The sound error in terms of aspects of articulation that is in: 1) fricative sound. 2) pop sound.

Abstract

This study not only aims to discribe derivation of the word do?a, but also composition of do?a. For this purpose, researcher uses qualitative descriptive method with morphological analysis. The result shows that the word do?a in Surah al-Baqarah 186 is mentioned three times with derivation form: ????; gerund = praying, ?????; subject = prayer, dan ???; past verb = prayed. In addition, there are two things in the composition of doa, namely istijabah (?????????? ??) = hard work and iman (???????? ??) = confidence. So, whoever want to be responded by God, he must do both of those things. Indeed, since someone prayed to God, from that time God also began to respond to his do?a.

Abstract

This article is a study of Arabic Language Education students at the University of Muhammad Malang concerning spelling errors in writing Arabic characters. Orthography or Arabic alphabet spelling is a system that is generally used to realize the sound description from spoken language to written language in a language community, in this case Arabic. But in practice not everyone is able to describe the sound of language into writing correctly. Including students in the Arabic Language Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This research is a descriptive type, in collecting data using observation techniques, documentation techniques, and interview techniques. The data analysis uses the orthographic equivalent method with basic techniques (orthographic sorting techniques) and advanced techniques (comparative correlation techniques). While the presentation of data uses informal variety. The results showed that the forms of orthographic errors or Arabic characters were first, one type of error consisting of adding vowels, reducing vowels or consonants, reducing consonant punctuation, and changing letters. Second, two or more types of errors. The factors underlying these mistakes are in terms of sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics.
