Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain psychological well-being concept to be applied in guidance and counseling. Guidance and counseling service to improve psychological well-being could be a way to help people achieve their optimum individual potention in every phase of development, so they clould live with happy and prosperous. Feeling happiness, fun, and satisfaction are the outcome of psychological well-being. Therefore, psychological well-being concept become importance to be applied in guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Globalization has a negative impact, one of which is for the social development of children. While humans basically can not live alone but need the help of others and help each other. Altruism is a voluntary action by a person or group of people to help others without expecting a refund. Democratic parenting plays an important role in the formation of the child's behavior and personality, which cares and respects the freedom of the child. Democratic parenting supports the development of positive emotions and empathy that are closely related to the development of child altruism behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe peer's affect of interest to continue studying to college in high school students. This research used literature study method. Based in result of literature study can be concluded that peer can affect student's interest to continue studying to college,because one of factors that affect interest continue studying to college is external factors where one of them is peer. Peer is very affecting decision taken by someone for their future. If their peers more oriented to school (continue studying to college), then that student will interested to continue his study to college,vice versa.therefore peer can affect interest continue studying to college towards student.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze Adventure Based Counseling (ABC) with a focus on the study of ABC application in group counseling and guidance services. Intensive literature review of the nature of ABC, the underlying theory of ABC, the positive implications of ABC in group counseling and guidance services in facilitating the counselee's personal development is the research methodology of this paper. Therefore, this paper is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of group counseling and guidance services.

Abstract

At junior high school students, career planning decisions are influenced by the environment, especially families. information about family influences in making career decisions can be obtained through the genogram. This research, in general, aims to derive empirical facts about the effectiveness of the genogram to develop the career planning skills of junior high school students, in particular, the aim of this study is to obtain a profile of students' career planning abilities; formulation of the genogram technique based on the student's career planning ability profile; and an overview of the effectiveness of the genogram to develop students' career planning skills. The research design used is one group pretest-postest. To obtain data of research result used instrument of career planning ability. The population of this study are students of class VIII SMP Negeri 43 Bandung, with sample research VIII-1. Data analysis is done quantitatively. The result of the research shows that students' career planning ability after the statistical technique of genogram has changed to better, that is, there is a significant difference between the improvement of career planning ability of upper, middle, and lower students in pre test and post test.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and evaluate the form of handling pattern of troubled students conducted by guidance and counseling teacher at pgri 4 senior high school palembang. the research method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive explanatory level. data collected through interviews, observation and documentation. further data analyzed refers to miles and huberman analysis model with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. the results showed that the pattern of handling palembang was dominated by disciplinary approach with the imposition of sanctions which is conducted by guidance and counseling teacher in pgri 4 senior high school palembang.

Abstract

The research aims to create the greatest project based learning session in developing the student's creativity in designing the media information via social media. Research methods the research using the actions taken to the student practice field, creativity is reflected upon response followers social media designed by subject. Research conducted in seven cycle that includes a brainstroming, designing, executiing, and final reflection. The results showed 1) brainstroming is most important session in project based learning to develop creativity, 2) After the implementation of project based learning, students ' creativity in designing the media information by social media is on transformation level.

Abstract

In Indonesia, undergraduate thesis is still a pretty scary end task for most students. Many of them do procrastination, keep away from supervisors, do non-productive things as a form of anxiety diversion, and the most extreme is to commit suicide as a result of excessive academic anxiety on undergraduate thesis. The education counselor as one of the college internal agents is expected to solve the problems that often occur every year. Based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) counseling approach, the academic anxiety experienced by students is a cognitive distortion caused by maladaptive core beliefs. The process to change the student's core beliefs to be more adaptive can be done with a modern technique, that is through music. In its application, CBT counseling using integrative technique through music consists of two, passive and active music therapy. What we need to know more about how CBT views academic anxiety as a problem and how the way to use integrative technique through music, so that counselors in Indonesia can comprehend conceptually about CBT counseling intervention with music appropriately in the future, in order to help students free from academic anxiety towards undergraduate thesis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the maturity of religious behavior in adolescents, especially boarding junior high school students. There are three aspects that are seen from the maturity of religious behavior in adolescents, namely aspects of thoughts, feelings and actions. Based on the analysis of the relevant literature, this study developed 111 items that describe the maturity of religious behavior in adolescents. The sample of this study was 230 students of grade IX boarding school. Item validity and reliability are measured by IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The result, 1) Pearson Product Moment 2-Tailed Correlation produces 107 items declared valid and only 4 items are invalid; and 2) Cronbach's Alpha (?) reliability coefficient is 0.96 which means very high. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Abstract

Self identity is an important component that shows the individual's personal identity. Individuals who succeed in forming their identities will help them to take the right role in their lives, while for teenagers who do not succeed in forming their identities, they will be confused about their role in life. Many factors influence self-identity. Gender, birth order, parental marital status, and parenting affect adolescent self-identity. This article will describe the correlation between these factors and self-identity.
